Rutgers vs. Miami College Football Betting Pick Prediction 12/28/2023 by Tony T. Rutgers vs. Miami 2:15PM ET—Rutgers lost an offensive tackle to the portal and a cornerback opted out. Miami lost quarterback Tyler Van Dyke to the portal, a key receiver, edge rusher and linebacker. Opting out are two safeties and a defensive tackle. The Pinstripe Bowl is played at Yankees Stadium, so the venue favors the Scarlet Knights. Rain, cold and wind are forecasted in this late December afternoon. Don't believe the Hurricanes will be motivated to play in these conditions and this bowl game. Rutgers is a strong defensive team that limited the opposition to 313 yards per game. They limited their opponents to 4 yards per rush.

Hour 1 It's officially here, the start of the NFL season. We talked about Patrick Mahomes being in his prime and he needs to do it all again if he wants to eventually eclipse Tom Brady. Caleb Williams' father came out and said he may not leave college after this season. He's making good money and doesn't want to go to a terrible franchise (Arizona Cardinals). We also talked about the Colts starting Anthony Richardson as a rookie. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with Dan Campbell talking about the privilege to play the first game of the season. Nick Bosa agreed to an extension with the 49'ers. Jasson Dominguez hit a HR in the Yankees win over the Tigers. Max Scherzer got lit up in his game against Justin Verlander. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer wonders who will have the biggest bounce back year. Hour 2 There are still people out there that believe the Yankees can make a run being 6.5 back in the last Wild Card. They have won 5 in a row and 8-of-10. It also seems like the Mets are going to hire David Stearns. Gio called him the ‘pre-eminent baseball nerd'. The Yankees won on Labor Day, and two miracles occurred: Aaron Judge hit a home run with a runner on base (that's an indictment on his teammates, not him), and Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit his first Yankees Stadium home run (second home run of the season). Judge hit #54 on the season, which ties A-Rod for the Yankee record by an RHH, set in 2007, and is on pace for 65 (!) home runs. Kiner-Falefa is not close to setting any home run records but it was still a nice insurance run for the Yankees who went on to win 5-2 and beat the Twins again.Stacey also briefly discusses the forgettable weekend in Tampa. Kiner-Falefa is not close to setting any home run records but it was still a nice insurance run for the Yankees who went on to win 5-2 and beat the Twins again. Later, Jon Morosi joins the show from Yankees Stadium with the Mets in town and attempts to figure out how bad the Yankees actually are. Paul Olden is the current public address announcer for the New York Yankees at Yankees Stadium. He has been the announcer since the Yankees moved to their new ballpark in 2009. Born in Chicago, Olden moved with his family to Los Angeles as a child. He attended Dorsey High school and Los Angeles City College. Olden was formerly a radio and television play-by-play announcer for the Yankees, Tamps Bay Devil Rays, California Angels, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Eagles, UCLA Bruins, Los Angels Rams, New York Jets, New York Nets and ESPN. Olden was the target of Los Angels Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda's infamous and profanity laden "Dave Kingman tirade" in 1978, in which Lasorda ranted at Olden (who worked at Los Angels radio station KLAC at the time) when he asked him about Kingman having hit three home runs against the Dodgers that day. He was also the PA announcer for 13 consecutive Super Bowls from 1993 to 2005.Olden replaced Jim Hill, the successor to Bob Sheppard, who had been the Yankees announcer since 1951. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/matt-brown57/support

Three years after Johnny Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, the case is going to trial Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia. Depp and Amber met on the set of "The Rum Diary" in 2009, married in 2015 and went on to be embroiled in a contentious split for months, with charges of bad behavior levied by both sides. In 2016 Heard alleged Depp bruised her face after hurling a phone at her in their Los Angeles home. Depp denied the allegation and was not charged with any crime. The couple settled their divorce months later, releasing a joint statement which read in part, "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love." Spectators in the right field bleachers showered the warning track with trash and empty beer cans thrown in the direction of Guardians right fielder Oscar Mercado following Gleyber Torres' walk-off hit at Yankees Stadium. One projectile even hit an umpire trying to settle the scene down.
