What you will learn: How Lucas' toxic lifestyle pattern of abusing drugs, alcohol, and food led him to self-destruction, but then led to his discovery of yoga and healthy eating Why the "breath" component of yoga is so important to integrate with stretching to get that nervous system workout in addition to the physical one Why the yoga works: placing your body in an uncomfortable or stressful situation for long periods of time trains you to respond to stress with calmness How the benefits of yoga transfer into your everyday life and how to find the relaxation tool that is the right fit for you What to do even if you're a busy professional who doesn't have time to attend a yoga class Important breathing techniques you can use anywhere, even at your desk or in the car Water breathing and how to pace your breathing to achieve balance without any of the "crazy" techniques such as holding your breath underwater How to use yoga to find focus, stability, and energy Quotes: "If you've found something that's working, absolutely stick with it. But if you're still looking, give yoga a try to see if it's for you. Some people have found that caring for their dogs and taking for their dogs for a walk is meditation or mindfulness practice to relieve stress. If that works for you, awesome. Other people need crossfit, to flip tires in empty parking lots. If that's what works for you, great." "Most people listening are looking at their mental and physical health and seeing shattered glass. There's broken stuff all around. We're looking for ways to glue those pieces back together. Yoga can play a part to be some of the glue that puts those broken pieces back together." "You want to feel balanced, you want to be present, you want to show up for your marriage, you want to show up for your kids, you want to show up for your work and have steady state energy, clarity of mind. Your focus is that 4 to 6 breaths per minute, it's that balanced breathing, it's that water breath. That's where you want to put most of your energy." How does your financial health stack up, currently?  To help you establish a strong financial foundation and plan for retirement, you'll hear investment strategies, financial management tips and ways to help you meet your lifestyle goals.  As a Financial Advisor in 1991, Roger has witnessed first-hand the rise and fall of the “new economy” and the Dot-com bubble that ended in 2000. This experience solidified that financial management is about people, not money, and that they are served best by advisors that are fiduciaries to their clients, and have the heart of a teacher. In 2003 Roger left his job the largest private bank in the world at the time and, with two wonderful partners, established WWK Wealth Advisors. Today, they are a firm of 14 professionals managing over $200 million in assets. What you will learn:  The art of creating a life that you don’t want to retire from  The antiquated model of education, work, retirement doesn’t apply anymore and why we’ll be working longer than our parents did  Some alternatives to investing in instead of the markets  The importance of investing in ourselves, our health and our relationships  The three keys to communication about life and money  Roger’s secret to a good marriage and healthy finances: little conversations  Why budgeting isn’t the be-all and end-all of financial health  How to pay attention to the little things that happen in your life and adjust as you go  The framework for the right conversations  Quotes:   “If you cut the spending by 20% that’s not near as impactful as increasing your income by 20%.”      “Everything is an investment solution, invest in the markets, right? There are a lot of other things that you and me and everybody else can invest in that doesn’t have anything to do with the markets.”   “It’s not that they want to retire and do nothing. Usually it’s that they’re in a nine to five grind in a corporation or some other position, that they just want freedom from, they want some more control.”  “Investing in our health and our relationships as early as we can. There is a return on investment on real dollar terms, but also a return on investment from a quality of life perspective.”  “We’re all going to live a lot longer than any other generation. The secret is, if you don’t invest in your health and your relationships, you’ll probably live almost as long as if you did, it’s just going to suck relatively speaking.”   “If you want to blow up a financial life, get divorced when you’re 50 or 60 and have your assets halved.”   “Figure out what your lane is rather than trying to find a lane that might not be perfect for you.”  “You have to slowly position yourself and do the analysis to know that the path you’re walking on is realistic.”   “The best that we can do is be on top of it and navigate as life unfolds.”  “ We can thrive in that later part of life, we just need to figure out how to thrive outside the lines.”    Contact Roger: http://www.rogerwhitney.com/learn/ http://rogerwhitney.com/podcast-2/ Contact Diane: Email Diane: Feedback@DianeRandallConsults.com Website: http://www. Today, Diane talks to Michael Tamez about healthy and balanced living through changing how you think about food. Michael has been on a 15-year journey to lose over 100 pounds. They discuss the emotional and mental breakthrough Michael had in order to make this change. Michael attributes his weight gain to repressed emotions of anger and sadness which caused him to overeat. This in turn created high blood pressure, sleep apnea and other health problems.  Michael is a holistic health coach who helps people make permanent changes to their lives and the way they eat. He is also the author of the book “Transformative Nutrition: The Ultimate Guide to Healthy and Balanced Living”. Michael studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition which is where Diane also studied.  There, he completely relearned his attitude to food. Michael is now happily married, at his ideal weight and living a life he loves.  What you will learn:  Michael lost 70-75 pounds over 8-9 months.  After the weight loss his medical problems disappeared.  Stress in modern life can mimic other symptoms in the body.  Michael helps people live with less stress to help loose weight.  When stressed one reaches for the bad food.  Being healthy and balances is about managing stress and being conscious of what you eat.  Eating out for lunch each day affects your waist line and wallet.  Make a big dinner and eat leftovers the next day.  Invest in your health by taking time to make lunch.  A lot of the weight we hold onto isn’t physical, it’s emotional.  We are conditioned to eat by the media, surroundings and advertising.  By 2030 40% of US adults will be obese.  We have to unlearn all the things we know about food. Give up the dieting gimmicks and take your health into your own hands.  Investment into your health is more important than any monetary investment.  To make a fresh start write down three things that you’re grateful for.  A fresh start isn’t about the food, it’s about being emotionally balanced.  By being grateful you’ll start to treat yourself with respect and be more inclines to take the steps towards health.  Quotes:  "I love my life right now" "I stuffed my face because I was sad and angry not because I was hungry" "Stop dieting and start living." She has written and co-written several books, namely “Escape from Anxiety: Supercharge your Life with powerful Strategies from a to z”.  In this episode Peggy takes Diane through the steps to fix an imbalance in your life, from taking a productivity pause to identifying interrupters in your life.  What you will learn:  Create intentions, not resolutions.  Create a single intention as a mission statement for the year.  Your energy follows your attention.  Send your attention to positive and self affirming ideas.  Focus on one thing at a time, do not try and multitask.  You can’t give to others what’s not flowing through you.  Value yourself enough to self-honor yourself, take time to do the things that will help you.  Supercharge your life by integrating all the different parts from relationships, health and spirituality.  Practice constant self evaluation to see if you’re keeping your life in balance.  Take a productivity pause each morning for 10 minutes to evaluate your day.  Don’t focus on your thoughts but try to sit in between your thoughts.  Take regular breaks in the form of holidays or even meditation.  Spend at least 1 hour a day away from computers and digital interrupters.  You have everything you need inside of you, you just need to remove the struggles and obstacles.  These changes have to become a pattern, they can’t be done one as a fix-all cure.  Quotes:  "You can’t give to others what’s not flowing through you." "Energy follows attention." "Focus on one thing at a time."  "You have everything you need already inside of you." "It’s difficult to hear the message until you’ve hit the bump in the road."  Resources: Free audio to help you meditate and sit in between your thoughts - threeminutestodestress.com   http://www.peggysealfon.com Contact Diane:Email Diane: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Website: http://www.dianerandallconsults.com Let us know what you think about this episode by leaving a voicemail or comment: http://www.balanced-living-for-busy-professionals.com/

Today Diane talks to Ishika Answani, a spiritual psychologist who is based in Dubai. Diane and Ishika met while studying at the University of Santa Monica and bonded over their love of spiritual psychology. In this episode Ishika discusses the difference between honoring your choices versus following habitual patterns. You must be mindful of the habits you’re cultivating before the habits that don’t support your well-being are hard to change. Anything you do repeatedly can become a ritual and a habit which is fine, however you must make sure that these habits are self-honoring and not harming your state of well-being.  Ishika Aswani counsels people in all matters of life including financial, relationships, body issues and radiant health and well-being. Through this work she uses the two tools of spiritual psychology; soul and behavior to help her clients align their inner experience with the outside world.  What you will learn:  Radiant health and well-being is not just physical Well-being is also mental, financial and emotional Anything you do repeatedly can become a ritual and then a habit Mentality is habitual thinking  Attitude is a habitual feeling Behavior is a mix of habitual thinking and feeling  If we carry guilt around a habit, it is not self-honoring and will harm our well-being Habits aren’t just mannerisms; they are mental patterns habituated into a way of thinking about ourselves.  Snapping out of a habitual pattern is important so that you can make more conscious choices.  Neutral awareness of habits.  Intention is important Aligning your thoughts and actions Quotes: "I don't see much value in taking a huge leap in a new direction, all at once."  "Habits can catch up with us." "I think that self-improvement is overrated." "Everything you need, you have it in you."  "It's making your habits work for you." Today Diane Randall talks to Dr. Dorothy Martin-Neville about finding your dreams and taking 100% responsibility for your choices. Together they discuss the methods you can use to discover what your dream is and how to pursue that goal and turn it into a fulfilling life. Diane talks from the perspective of a generation who chose the “safe” career option and are now trying to follow their dreams.  Dr. Dorothy talks about her tumultuous upbringing and how that affected her choices of career at every turn. Dorothy reminds us that even if you change your dream after 5 years of achieving it, this isn’t a mistake because every choice builds you as a person. She also reveals that the best way to find your dream is through meditation, a clear mind and focusing on the last time that you felt truly alive.  Dr. Dorothy is a speaker, author, interviewer and psychotherapist who achieved a BA, MA and PhD after a tough upbringing in the housing projects of south Boston. She is a regular guest on both TV and radio and has appeared on the Oprah network. Life has taken Dorothy along a winding road and she has been a Catholic nun, social worker, airline hostess and has written a book Dreams Are Only The Beginning Of Becoming Who You're Meant To Be.  What you will learn:  Dr. Dorothy was placed in an orphanage until she was 3 years old.  She lived the majority of her life aged 3-6 outside her home in a playpen.  She left home at 17 to join a convent in Quebec.  When she left the convent she re-trained as a air hostess.  To get through life you need to develop a sense of humor.  Life is all about the perspective you take.  Many of us live life or survival; we need to make the choice to really live.  We are most filled with joy and vibrancy when we do what our heart calls us to do.  All humans are intrinsically good.  To find your dream you must ask yourself; when was the last time you felt truly alive?  Once you make a choice you have to take responsibility for it, you can’t have power without responsibility.  When you’re choosing your dream go through it with someone you trust and don’t ask for permission.  When we work together, everybody wins.  When you attain your dream you have the freedom to be more philanthropic.  Quotes:  "Very few of us walk straight simple paths." "We can't play victim." "I listened to learn more to me." "There's no reason a dream can't be achieved." Healthy Living, Eating Plant Based Foods

Today Diane Randall talks to Pam Bradford about healthy living eating plant-based foods. This means only consuming things that don’t have a face or a mother and grown in the ground. Pam inspired Diane to change her eating habits when Diane was feeling at her worst; this inspiration came through the documentary DVD “Eat”. The American diet has very little fiber, so an important part of plant based nutrition is increasing the levels of nutritious micronutrients in the body. Fiber will help you feel satisfied and fuller for longer. Meat and seafood are high in fat and other unknown chemicals that are being pumped into our seas and both Pam and Diane have noticed a marked difference in their mental health, alertness, productivity and waistlines since beginning this lifestyle change. Pam Bradford has been a close friend of Diane’s for 25 years and now lives in North Carolina after growing up in Chicago. She is a contractor in the training and development sector and although she doesn’t try to enforce her diet onto anyone, many people have been converted after seeing her so healthy.  What you will learn: After Diane changed her lifestyle she attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to learn more and spread the word. Food is addictive. This can’t be a short-term diet; it’s a lifestyle change. Plant based is more than just salads. Pam sets a new goal each year to eat more vegetables and less sweets. Keep it simple and find new ways to eat vegetables. The only way to improve your life and health is to quit meat. Pam relies on Whole foods Market for healthy snacks and raw broccoli. If you can’t find a vegetarian meal at a restaurant, order a selection of sides. Ask the chef to make you something. You need to plan ahead or carry a small bag of healthy snacks. Get used to not eating as much. Processed food is a like a drug to the brain. Many people are not willing to make the sacrifice, but see their family suffering from disease. The taste you love was probably created in a laboratory. Go for deserts with a low GI. Start small, slow changes at first. This isn’t about being skinny; it’s being healthy for your body type. Take everything in moderation. People want you to eat what they eat because it makes them feel good.  Quotes: I'm constantly looking for ways to keep it interesting and find new ways to eat  Just be open to change and take small steps Its up to us to not allow people to force us to eat junk There’s a difference between holding back on something and releasing addictions Its all about you taking control   Contact Diane Email Diane: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Website: http://www.dianerandallconsults.com  Let us know what you think about this episode by leaving a voice mail or comment: http://www.balanced-living-for-busy-professionals.com

Detroit-based cardiologist Dr. Joel Kahn joins Diane Randall to discuss heart disease – the #1 killer in America - in this episode titled How to Not Die at Work. Being one of America’s leading holistic heart doctors and founder of The Kahn Center for Cardiac Longevity, Dr. Kahn approaches heart health care as a whole with focuses on preventative, early detection, treatment, and reversal approaches. During the discussion Dr. Kahn explains that many do not know they have a slowly progressing or silent blockage developing. A stress test or an EKG will not always pick up a developing silent blockage. These tests simply can’t see inside the arteries. But, there are two tests that are recommended that can get a good look at the heart’s three main arteries to determine if hardening of the arteries is present or developing and you need to know what these tests are. Career minded people, and others in general, lack eating well, getting enough sleep, and exercising. What others don’t realize is that heart disease can progress inside the three main heart arteries for months, years, or even decades with a blockage or building up without any warning signs or symptoms. Learning how to handle stress and live a healthier lifestyle can help prevent 85% of heart attacks, strokes, and heart disease. Dr. Kahn’s book, Dead Executives Don’t Get Bonuses: The Ultimate Guide to Surviving Your Career With A Healthy Heart, covers this topic in depth. What you will learn: How the #1 killer in America develops. How we can detect it very early; know the two tests that best detect hardening of the arteries and calcium levels. How we can prevent it with a lifestyle adjustment; there are 6 lifestyle habits for anyone with an abnormal heart test. How we can reverse it with nutrition and exercise. Diane explores the thought process of realizing that completing a job badly would actually compromise her integrity and how she made the decision to walk away with her credibility intact. This was despite being offered even more money to stay on the job. Sometimes you have to value yourself and your mental health more than any money.  What you will learn: Diane teaches change. She was given a job where she had to turn a company around in 1 week. There was no foundational training or consultant support. Diane felt bad about leaving and stated her case to the consulting company. She was offered more money to stay. You know you’re not living your values if something doesn’t feel right. In this episode Diane talks about how to cope with stress and how to manage those events when stress is inevitable. She draws on personal experience from times in her life when she was balancing being a mother, a tech consultant and a college student and stress caused her to have an anxiety attack.  Diane clearly explains what to do in events when stress is unavoidable and ways to minimize the impact. She also encourages her listeners to identify their reactions to stress - be it smoking, drinking, eating - so that we can realize when we're experiencing stress and switch to a more healthy coping mechanism. What you will learn: Stress is anything that disrupts your body’s natural rhythm. Stress is unique to each individual and affects us differently. Diane's old mantra was "do what you have to do". Stress can be caused when you're trying to live up to others expectations and by not setting clear boundaries. Identify the causes and then chose a response;  Avoidance - set clear boundaries, learn to say no, step away or outside, read a book. Reframing - See the stress as a good thing because it's teaching you to see things differently and learn from the moment. Accept that stress will happen and plan around it.    Contact Diane Email Diane: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Need help reducing your stress? Diane Talks to Gregg Levoy About How to Rediscover Your Passion for Life

Today Diane Randall talks to Gregg Levoy about how to rediscover your passion for life. Together they discuss the steps you can take to turn your life from a "knock-off" into a life that truly belongs to you. Gregg explains that he's always been interested in the subject of passion since growing up with parents who didn't follow the path they wanted. Diane expresses a common concern that it's not possible to have a life full of passion that also provides the security of a 9 to 5 job. Gregg discredits this idea and shows that he is physical example of living a passionate life that also makes money. He recommends that people write a list of the things each week that bring them joy and what drains their energy in order to show themselves how to create their passionate life. Gregg has previously been a journalist and professor of journalism and is now a behavioral specialist, blogger, guest speaker and lecturer. He has also written two books called:  "Vital Signs: The Nature and Nurture of Passion" and "Callings: Finding and Following An Authentic Life". What you will learn: The biggest regret of the dying is living a life other people thought they should lead and not their own life. Passion is your spark, mojo and vitality. Passion is also self-actualization when you make the choice to grow over the choice to be afraid. A "knock-off" life is working to someone else's agenda. To help find your passion, think about what section you go to first in the book store. The passion workshops are popular with the baby boomer generation because they spent their youth working for security. Your soul isn't interested in if you're rich/famous/comfortable, it just wants to go for the big ride. The big ride is what will hold your interest if you were watching your life flash before your eyes. You can make money from passion. Bundle some novelty into your week in small steps; get up on the other side of the bed or sit in a different seat for breakfast. When telling friends and family about your new venture talk to the supportive people first. Step 1 in balancing your passion and need for security is accepting that both sides exist and don't try to hide or suppress one side.  Quotes: It's not about waiting for the burning bush Who we are changes over time My soul didn't care what price i had to pay to life passionately This isn't like a divine supina The body isn’t a taxi cab to drive your brain around in  Contact Gregg: http://www.gregglevoy.com Amazon Link: Vital Signs: Discovering and Sustaining Your Passion for Life https://www.amazon.com/Vital-Signs-Discovering-Sustaining-Passion/dp/0399174982/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1467288465&sr=1-1&keywords=vital+signs   Contact Diane: Website:  http://www.dianerandallconsults.com Send Diane an email: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Leave a voice or email telling us what you think about this episode: http://www.balanced-living-for-busy-professionals.com

In this episode Diane Randall talks to Lanada Williams about mental health and lifting the stigma in the workplace. They investigate the feedback cycle between stress and depression and how to break free and find help. 1 in 5 Americans will experience mental health problems at some point in their lives and depression is a leading cause of disability worldwide so Lanada details some of the ways you can talk about mental illness without stigmatizing language to open up the discussion.  Lanada is a National Certified Counselor and explains some of the coping tools she employs to protect your boundaries and check in with how you're feeling. Diane shares a personal story about being physically affected by anxiety and Lanada explains that mental health symptoms can often affect your physical body so you should always listen to your gut and trust your intuition. Lanada Williams is a Licensed Psychotherapist, Entrepreneur and Author and host of The Lanada Williams Show. She has been featured in the Huffington Post, Forbes and on the Dr Oz show, she is a solution based therapist who aims to help her patients realize that mental health isn't a lifelong problem and can be treated like any other condition.  What you will learn: A disease is a separation from the normal with physical symptoms, but a condition is an internal feeling, for example feeling weak, discomfort or fatigue. People are not their illness; it’s just something they have at that time. Anxiety is a mental health illness that's severely under diagnosed. Stress is a normal part of life; it becomes a problem when you can't move forward from your stressors. It’s hard to pinpoint a single cause of depression; it can be a combination of genes, stress or your surroundings. Medication isn't the first step in treatment for depression. 1 in 3 women experience heart disease due to stress. There are several different types of depression including; major and chronic. Trust your body, if it physically stops this is an indicator of what your mind has told you repeatedly. If you ignore what your gut is telling you, you will lose that intuition. You're not alone; there is support to be found online, in groups or on podcasts. If you're in a hostile non-supportive workplace talk to HR about an in-work counseling service. Honor what's valuable to you, for example make YOU and your family a priority and schedule them in.   Contact Lanada: http://blis.fm/lanadawilliams/ http://www.lanadawilliams.com/ Quotes: Burnout is the number 1 indicator that depressions is on it's way Your job will still be there and life will go on You are un-replaceable    Contact Diane: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Website: http://www.dianerandallconsults.com Let us know what you think about this episode by leaving a voice mail or comment: http://www.balanced-living-for-busy-professionals.com

Today Diane Randall talks to Chad Austin about how to overcome your excuses and make fitness a priority in your life. Chad explains that “that day” when you’re not busy or tired will never happen so you need to start making fitness work with your lifestyle now.  Chad and Diane examine the reasons people avoid exercise and Diane explains her past relationship with exercise and how she’s reached a healthy balance. Chad has written a book which details the excuses people give for not exercising and how to overcome these negative thoughts. The top two main excuses are; too busy and too tired and Chad recommends going to bed earlier, less processed food and limiting caffeine to start helping with tiredness. Chad has spent 10 years as a personal trainer, after moving into training from PE teaching in schools. He now owns his own studio and has written his first book called “Make Fitness A Priority: How to win the fight against your excuses”. What you will learn: Chad asked people what their top two aims were in life and all answered; career and family. Chad is trying to make fitness one of our top priorities. Fitness shouldn’t be something you get to later in life. The top excuses for not exercising are; I don’t know what I’m doing, it’s boring, injury, cost, equipment, too tired, too busy. If you’re tired eat real unprocessed food ever 4 hours, limit caffeine to the morning and go to bed earlier. It’s easy to be scammed by fitness programs and celebrities because they prey on insecurities. Everyone is looking for a quick fix, but fitness should be a long term goal. Work beyond the short term goal for a lifetime of fitness and health. If you work in an office then get up and move every hour. Today Diane Randall talks to Dr Colleen Georges about how to recognize the critical voice in your head and how to conquer those thoughts. Dr Colleen explains what positive psychology is and how this can be used to focus on your great achievements and block out rumination and catastrophizing thoughts. Together they discuss how to keep your mind in the present using gratitude, meditation and rest. Dr Colleen has created her own technique of re-scripting to help her clients rewrite the way they think about themselves. She explains the eight steps you can use to also follow this method. These steps help to stop the negative movie that repeats in your head and change your behavior so that you can break free and quiet that critical voice. Dr Colleen is a national certified positive psychologist and coach, and a lecturer in counseling at Rutgers University. She has used her personal experience of suffering under her critical inner voice for 10 years to help develop these coping methods.  What you will learn: Positive psychology officially launched in 1998 and was developed by Martin Seligman. Positive psychology doesn’t concentrate on what’s broken but looks at positive resources you have you have to deal with problems. The aim is to go from dysfunctional to functional to flourishing. Struggling with an inner critical voice can manifest itself in physical ways; migraines, neck pain or panic attacks. To start working on this you need to track your thoughts; where do you start spiraling, what precedes that thought and what are the main topics? 8 areas in the re-script: Releasing rumination Engage vs evading Seeking strengths Challenging catastophising Restricting regret Inviting imperfection  Pursuing passion and purpose Thinking thankfully You don’t stop re-scripting, this is something to work on your whole life and keep re-writing. You can change the script if it’s not working for you. It’s hard to make time for introspection when you’re busy so you need to make it a habit. Turn off the tv and block out all those negative messages to pull yourself back to the present. First step is to be grateful, even if it’s only something small; got a job, a helpful friend, somewhere to live. 50% of happiness is genetically predisposed. Only 10% of happiness is determined by circumstance. 40% of happiness is what we do; how we talk to ourselves, how long we ruminate or see only our flaws. If you wake up and feel the spiral, focus on the things you’re grateful for.   Quotes: You don’t have to pay attention to every thought that comes into your head Everybody's story is different. The more you do re-scripting the better you get at it. Some of us think that our circumstances determine how happy we can be. Use the strengths that got us through other things; use them again   Contact Colleen: Links: TED talk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L4Omgo70Rk Website - http://www.colleengeorges.com/ Website - www.lifecoachingnj.com      Contact Diane: Website: http://www.dianerandallconsults.com Send Diane an email: feedback@dianerandallconsults.com Leave a voice or email telling us what you think about this episode: http://www.balanced-living-for-busy-professionals.com

Today Diane Randall talks to Penney Peirce about the new way of looking at success (inner and outer). Together they discuss how to get beyond logic and reach into your right side brain to open up creativity and generate complex ideas. Penney explains how the world is moving away from linear and compartmentalized information and towards an emphasis on imagination and energy flow. Diane expresses the common concern that many people find it difficult becoming silent but Penney allays these fears by explaining how you can talk to your conscious self and find answers. Penney talks about the exciting new way of thinking that is becoming increasingly popular with businesses, and how by developing the correct habits you can eliminate what’s in the way of naturally flowing success. Penney Peirce is an Author, Speaker, Clairvoyant, and Trainer who specializes in intuition development, expanded perception and inner energy dynamics. She has worked in her field since 1977 and has published several books: She is the author of The Intuitive Way, Frequency, Leap of Perception, Dream Dictionary for Dummies, Dreams for Dummies, and The Present Moment: A Daybook of Clarity and Intuition. What you will learn: There are 2 ways of seeing success; the old way is linear and the new way is spiritual. You need to move out of your left brain and into the right brain which will take you away from compartmentalized thinking and towards direct knowing and intuition. The world is moving out of the information age and into the intuition age. The non-physical realm of the imagination is coming together with the physical and being realized in the workplace. To materialize an idea you need to focus your attention and love upon it and it will be born out of you. You need to have trust in the process. Once you start thinking this way problems will become opportunities instead of blockages. The ideas don’t come to you; they emerge out of you. The Round-Trip is when an idea emerges out of the left-brain and you take it into the right-brain to make it conscious and create the words to describe it. Quotes: Create new mental habits I don’t think you can trust without deciding to trust Everyone in business is going to have to learn to meditate  The way things improve is not going to be logical from now on To contact Penney:  http://www.penneypeirce.com/http://www.penneypeirce.com/ Books: http://www.penneypeirce.com/books.htm
