In a world with so many conflicting ideas, this podcast simplifies what really makes us thrive. Here you’ll find empowering conversations on respectful parenting, plant-based nutrition, financial freedom, growth mindset, birth, relationships, culture, and more that not only impacts you, but the world around you. I often sit down with expert guests to share their wisdom with you guys. Welcome to The Ellen Fisher Podcast.
The The Ellen Fisher Podcast is hands down the number one podcast in the self-help genre. With a variety of conversations with engaging and interesting individuals, this podcast never fails to captivate and provoke thought. Ellen is a trustworthy figure who provides great advice about life, making her someone listeners can rely on. I have been following her on YouTube for years and find her content to be wholesome and refreshing. Her intentional living and willingness to question societal norms are what truly capture my attention. Overall, this podcast is eye-opening, positive, and covers a wide range of topics.
One of the best aspects of The Ellen Fisher Podcast is the diverse range of viewpoints that are presented. Ellen brings on educated and well-versed guests who provide different perspectives, creating a space for open-minded discussions. The conversations feel natural and authentic, while still being organized and prepared by the host. This allows listeners to gain a well-rounded understanding of various topics.
However, there are some aspects that could be improved upon in this podcast. Some listeners have mentioned difficulty in understanding Ellen's speech due to her speaking too quickly or not articulating clearly enough. Slowing down the pace and improving enunciation would greatly enhance the listening experience for those struggling to comprehend.
In conclusion, The Ellen Fisher Podcast is an incredible outlet for thought-provoking discussions on a wide range of topics. Ellen's courage to address controversial subjects while maintaining respect for opposing viewpoints is commendable. This podcast has provided education, empowerment, and inspiration for many listeners, including myself. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you're seeking engaging conversations that challenge societal norms in a positive way.

Bronte, a family medicine resident with a significant TikTok following, brings her passionate perspective on social justice and women's rights to the conversation. Isabel Brown, host of The Isabel Brown Show and conservative voice who has worked with Turning Point USA, offers a different view. As an author of "The End of the Alphabet: How Gen Z Can Save America," she shares insights on faith, dating, and politics through a conservative lens. In an era of increasing discourse around women's rights and equality, these two influential voices tackle the challenging questions. Are we fighting an unnecessary battle, or is the current wave of feminism essential for true equality and women's happiness? In the last pro life vs pro choice debate I hosted, we covered the ethics of abortion. This episode I brought on two medical professionals to evaluate the medical necessity or lack of, for abortion. Lynn Wolf is pro choice mother of three who is a dual-certified Nurse Midwife and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's mental health. As a midwife, she has practiced both in hospital and in birth center/home birth settings. Before completing her masters and postmasters education, Lynn was a labor and delivery nurse at a large teaching hospital. Dr Monique Ruberu is a pro life board certified OBGYN who owns and operates a private holistic GYN and fertility practice. She is a convinced Catholic, mother of 5 with two in heaven and a passionate pro life advocate and public speaker. In this conversation we get down to the most important questions that help us, as the listeners, to understand what exactly an abortion is and what it isn't, if abortion bans will prevent women from getting the care they need, when or if abortion is ever medically necessary, and the dialogue around tacking a challenging circumstance and diagnosis. Suzanne Venker is a relationship coach and author of five books on the ways in which our culture undermines marriage and family. Her newest is called "How to Build a Better Life: A New Roadmap for Women Who Want to Prioritize Love and Family." She has spent more than twenty years exposing what she considers to be lies women have been fed about men, marriage, work and motherhood that undermine women's ability to be successful in life and in love. She helps women make peace with men and marriage—and free them from cultural narratives that undermine this goal. I've invited Suzanne to join me today because I am right here in this phase of life she's talking about. I wanted to unpack this with her for myself, and also to see if this resonates with any other mothers listening who work - maybe who love their work - or maybe they're just trying to help bring more income for the family with a side hustle - but at the end of the day you feel an inner struggle and want to be with your kids more and not miss their childhood that goes by so fast. Arden Young, is an undercover investigative journalist from Sound Investigations. Her undercover work exposes PornHub executives admitting that they knowingly profit off of the sexual exploitation of minors AND that they knowingly allow content of rape and sexual abuse content on their site because of an ID loophole. Benjamin Nolot is the CEO and founder of Exodus Cry, a non profit that fights sex trafficking, and all forms of commercial sexual exploitation. He is committed to shifting cultural mindsets and laws that protect children from porn exposure and abolishes commercial sexual exploitation. He has been a featured speaker at the United Nations and is an award-winning filmmaker. Benjamin's book Raised on Porn is a must read. In this conversation they expose the heart of today's destructive porn industry, the human trafficking and sexual abuse content inevitably intertwined within it, and how porn is currently shaping an entire generation of young people. We cover the addictive nature of porn and how it is affecting our relationships in real life, what's different about porn today versus when our grandparents were young, how children younger and younger are first getting access to porn, why PornHub execs should be in prison, and so much more. Kam Waters, co-creator of the documentary film soon to be released, Christspiracy, sits down with Tony Jones from The Reverend Hunter Podcast to debate if Jesus was actually a vegan. The Film “Christspiracy” documents Kam's personal quest, as a lover of Christ, across the globe to answer the question “is there a spiritual way to kill an animal?” interviewing theologians, archeologists, Christian farmers and more. Kam grew up in the Bible Belt, was born and raised in the Christian church, and began questioning his traditions' position on animal ethics when he realized there was more to the story than he had been told. Tony Jones is a writer, theologian, outdoorsman, and passionate hunter who believes the lack of people currently killing and butchering their own animals for food “is one of the most primal aspects of religion that has been lost.” He's written many books including his latest “The God of Wild Places: Rediscovering the Divine in the Untamed Outdoors.” He teaches at Fuller Theological Seminary and lives in Minnesota with his wife, kids, and dog. Both of these men are passionate about their cause. Kam and the Christspiracy team are shaking up the common narrative, but Tony comes in sharing where he thinks they go wrong. Did God put animals on this earth for us to eat and use how we see fit? What does “dominion over the animals” really mean? And what does it mean on a broader scale if Jesus really did advocate for compassion for animals? Or is eating animals without boundaries, a God - given right that is good? Today, we delve into the heart of parenting exploring two diverse parenting philosophies amidst what can be a contentious and emotional topic. With so much confusion on the best way to raise our children well, I brought together two passionate and expert voices in the parenting sphere to help clear the mud. Dr. Laura Markham is a clinical psychologist, mother, and advocate for Peaceful Parenting who inspires parents with practical information to choose connection and coaching over punishment and control. Abbie from “M is for Mama,” is a wife, mother of ten, and Bible-believing Christian, with 10 years of experience teaching high school Spanish, English, and ESL, who encourages parents to embrace the challenge of biblical motherhood and raise their children with love and wisdom. Together, we'll explore the nuances, challenges, and joys of parenting through differing lenses, aiming to find common ground and understanding of one another. Few topics are more hotly debated than nutrition. With contradictory messaging abundant, it can be difficult to discern credible health advice and navigate which dietary patterns are optimal for our health and longevity. Simon Hill, nutritionist and host of The Proof Podcast, cuts through the noise and breaks down today's most popular diets and trends. Simon has a healthy obsession with nutritional science and uses reliable science-based information to form his dietary thesis philosophy. He focuses on nuanced, evidence-based research instead of biased black and white thinking. While science is not perfect, we do have clear biomarkers for longevity and preventing our #1 killers, and this episode goes into how these trends stack up against those markers. With so many experts letting their biases get in the way to form nutritional recommendations, Simon is the nutrition resource we need right now. In this episode we cover: Popular diets: Paleo, Carnivore, Vegan, Keto, Plant Paradox, & Nourishing Traditions What “ancestral diets” get right and wrong Saturated fat vs. PUFAS Popular Trends: Butter, Bone Broth, anti-nutrients, seed oils, etc Eating to survive vs. eating for longevity Why what's “natural” isn't necessarily what's best for long term health Simon's resources in YouTube description box HERE Sponsor: Anima Mundi Herbals | enter the code ELLEN20 for 20% off everything at https://glnk.io/nr9jm/ellenfisher WHERE TO FIND SIMON Website Instagram Podcast Youtube WHERE TO FIND ME Birth Course Recipe ebooks Instagram Watch the Podcast
In this fiery conversation with my husband and friends Amelia and Matt, we discuss and debate the meaning and value of sex, marriage, and monogamous vs. polyamorous relationships. Amelia and Matt recently celebrated their love in a non traditional marriage ceremony after dating for 5 years. They practice consensual non monogamy and value freedom, self expression and evolution as the foundation of their relationship. They share polar opposite life experiences to me and my husband Andrew, who have only ever been with each other intimately and waited until we were married to have sex. We've been together for over 20 years, started dating when we were 15 and 16 years old and our marriage vows are based in a life long commitment of growth and unconditional love, through the easy times and the hard times. We get into our differing perspectives on love and if having multiple sexual partners (either at the same time or throughout our lives) is best for society, raising children, and ourselves as individuals. The topic of how to feed upwards of 10 billion people with the least amount of deforestation and pollution is complex and layered. There's clearly big issues within the standard industrial farming system, and in this conversation four guests get into what they believe is the best way to farm to feed the world, both on a small and large scale. Nicholas is an ecologist and co-founder of plantbaseddata.org, a library of peer-reviewed articles and summaries on the evidence to shift to plant-based diets. How often do you find yourself going through the motions of life without patience or living in the present moment? Hurried busyness is so common in our modern lives that it's become the norm. Even if you have never meditated regularly, you likely know the feeling of being in flow — that pure state of presence and calm, which can often feel so unattainable in a culture that constantly presses us to outdo yesterday's productivity. Thankfully, meditation has been having a zeitgeist moment. More people than ever are familiar with the concept of mindfulness, and nowadays those who are dabbling in meditation don't always fit the stereotype. It seems the deeper and deeper enmeshment of technology in our lives has also brought greater accessibility to meditation teachers, especially for those of us who need more guidance in a practice that feels so foreign. One of these meditation teachers and thought leaders is Manoj Diaz, a speaker and meditation teacher who was born in Sri Lanka and later raised in Australia. In this episode Manoj gives us simple steps to start a mindfulness practice with meditation and breath work. While starting meditation and breath work may feel daunting, it doesn't have to be. This conversation aims to demystify meditation, show you how to quiet your mind, and inspire you to open up and slow down. this episode covers: How to start a meditation practice and the reasons why The benefits of breath work How to be more present and connected in your life Cultivating a disciplined mind Why it can be hard to quiet our mind How just 5 minutes of meditation a day can change your life Thank you to our partners for sponsoring today's episode Anima Mundi: enter the code ELLEN20 for 20% off everything at https://glnk.io/nr9jm/ellenfisher Indigo Luna: my favorite lounge wear and yoga clothes. enter the code ELLEN10 for 10% off your order HERE WHERE TO FIND MANOJ instagram Website Open app WHERE TO FIND ME My birth course My ebooks Instagram Watch the podcast

Not many issues are more polarizing and heated than the topic of abortion. Pro life advocates believe in the inherent value and human rights of the unborn. Pro choice advocates believe in the the rights of women to choose whether to continue a pregnancy or not and to have bodily autonomy. Brenda Davies and Lila Rose have very opposing views on the topic of abortion. Brenda is a writer, podcaster, and left-leaning pro-choice Christian with the YouTube channel called God is Grey. Brenda believes that forced birth is immoral and that abortion can be better prevented by making this nation a more hospitable place for new & existing life with left leaning policies. Lila is a writer, speaker and pro life activist. She's the founder and president of Live Action, a human rights nonprofit with the largest digital footprint on the globe for the pro-life movement. Live Action exists to defend the rights of the unborn and make abortion unthinkable. In this episode we cover: Is it always wrong to commit intentional violence on an innocent human person? Is it immoral to force teens and women to give birth against their will? What about bodily autonomy? What is the moment of distinction when a person deserves basic human rights? Gestational age? A heartbeat? Viability? When a person takes their first breath after birth? Both mother and child have rights - are those rights in conflict? The viewpoint: “I wouldn't personally get an abortion but I wouldn't want to restrict someone else from getting one.” Is the way we talk about this debate “pro life” and “pro choice” accurate to how people who hold those views truly think and act? There was over 600,000 abortions last year, if all abortions were banned, that would be 600,000 more kids, many of them in poverty or tough situations, what would be the plan to deal with that? Horrific instances of rape or incest, or when there is an extreme health risk to the mother? Sex elective abortion, when one aborts their baby girl because they are specifically wanting a boy, or vice versa. would making abortion illegal actually reduce abortions? How the foster care system vs adoption shapes this conversation Do women need to rely on abortion to succeed in society? What about overpopulation? Roe v. Wade - will the Supreme Court overturn Roe? What will that mean for our national conversation about abortion? Millions of people are choosing veganism all over the world. They value their health, have compassion for animals, and are concerned about the environment, and yet despite the personal benefits they experience, a lot of people revert back to eating meat dairy and eggs. Why is that? I have been looking forward to this episode since the creation of my podcast. One of my most passionate topics is this conversation surrounding why people stop being vegan, how vegans respond to people who stop being vegan, how non vegans use the stories of ex-vegans as proof of justification for this or that, the complexities of our own experiences that shape our decisions, and so on. To break down this topic, I shared a conversation with Colleen Patrick-Goudreau who is not only a decades long OG vegan, but also a thought leader on the social, ethical, and practical aspects of living compassionately and healthfully. She's a speaker, cultural commentator, podcaster, and author of many books, including “The Joyful Vegan: how to stay vegan in a world that wants you to eat meat, dairy, and eggs” and her perspective on the many common reasons why people stop being vegan are compelling. In this episode we cover What the data shows is the main reason people stop being vegan - is it health reasons or more social and cultural? The social and cultural pressures that impact our lifestyle choices feeling the pressure (often self inflicted) to be perfect What being realistic about food and health looks like The double standard that our society holds plant-based eaters and their health to compared to any other way of eating Breaching values and sabotaging goals in the process The problems with ex-vegan stories - both how they are presented and how people respond to them Anecdotes & social media influencers who quit being vegan if I ever consider stopping being vegan when plant-based diets don't work our biological design to thrive Why you'll never see videos called “why I quit the ancestral diet” or “why I quit the paleo diet” Health is so much more than just food Division & hatred on both sides the hidden complexities of our modern day agriculture system if vegans' righteous anger when people fail to meet their expectations is justified or helpful Loving everyone through their own journeys, stories, and no matter how they choose to eat. Having an empowering birth experience is one of my favorite topics of conversation. Birth is a transformative experience and we can cry and laugh and love up on each other's stories, whether there is heartache, trauma, euphoria, or peace. All birth stories matter and there is strength to gain from listening to each other's experiences. I sit down with my friend Jordan, who recently gave brith to her fourth baby in the comfort of her own home in Tanzania with her family. She shares the story of her most recent birth and we also revel in the evolution she's had from her other births as well. Her birth stories are both hilarious and beautiful, chaotic yet calming, and also empowering. We found many similarities in our own lives, not just from the beautiful mess of motherhood and homeschooling and raising a big family, but also from the insights we've gained over the course of our different births. In this episode we cover what has helped us have the most empowering birth experiences, what hasn't helped, and everything in between. You can find Jordan on instagram at @pheonix.wild so you can keep up with her life journey with her family travels, homeschooling and motherhood. She is coming out with a homeschooling course soon so stay tuned for that and she also just launched an online market place to be able to find natural mother and baby products all in one beautiful place at organicbabyme.com So buckle up for some wild birth stories, I laughed a lot in this episode, probably because I find so much joy in talking about birth.
