Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover explosive new evidence of an Obama-era conspiracy against Donald Trump, major shifts in U.S. manufacturing and agriculture, high-stakes diplomacy before the Trump–Putin meeting, the collapse of Ukraine's front lines, and a mysterious American drone mission deep into Mexico. Newly Declassified Email Exposes Obama-Era Conspiracy: A Top Secret 2016 email from NSA Director Mike Rogers to James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey reveals deep concerns over Obama's rushed Intelligence Community Assessment on alleged Trump–Russia collusion. The correspondence confirms intelligence officials were pressured to rubber-stamp a politically driven report that included the discredited Steele Dossier. Bryan details why this is foundational evidence of a seditious conspiracy. GE Appliances Moves Production Back to the U.S.: Trump's tariff strategy prompts GE Appliances, formerly owned by a Chinese company, to relocate manufacturing of ranges and refrigerators from Mexico and China to plants in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina, creating 1,000 new jobs. U.S. Farm and Ranch Report: Bred heifer prices hit record highs as cattle herd sizes remain at 1950s lows, keeping beef prices elevated. Favorable rains and cheaper feed are encouraging herd rebuilding, while the dangerous New World screwworm threatens to cross the border from Mexico. Crop conditions are generally good, but trade restrictions tied to tariffs are shifting agricultural export strategies. Mexico Sends 26 Cartel Members to U.S. Custody: President Claudia Sheinbaum transfers dangerous cartel figures to the United States, defying Mexico's constitution under technical loopholes. The move follows White House pressure to prevent cartel leaders from escaping Mexican prisons and resuming drug and human trafficking operations. Trump and European Allies Set Ukraine Negotiation Red Lines: Ahead of tomorrow's Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, Trump and European leaders agree on five conditions for peace talks, including a cease-fire, starting territorial discussions from current front lines, and securing binding Western security guarantees. European leaders will not attend the Alaska talks, leaving the White House to own the negotiations and their outcome. Ukraine's Front Lines Near Collapse: Russian forces, bolstered by North Korean mercenaries, gain six miles in the Donetsk region through relentless “meat wave” assaults. Ukrainian soldiers are frustrated with leadership, and public support for the war has collapsed, with 69 percent now favoring a negotiated settlement. Bryan warns that without fresh troops or a change in strategy, Ukraine risks losing the entire country. U.S. Drone Conducts Deep Strike Recon in Mexico: An American MQ-9 Reaper drone flew 600 miles into cartel-controlled territory in Michoacán before shutting off its transponders. The mission likely signals upcoming U.S. military action against cartels, with or without Mexican government cooperation, as Trump accelerates his campaign against foreign and domestic enemies.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32   Keywords: Obama-era Trump-Russia conspiracy, declassified Mike Rogers email, GE Appliances reshoring, U.S. cattle herd prices, New World screwworm threat, Mexico extradites cartel members, Trump Putin Alaska meeting, Ukraine front lines collapse, Donetsk Russian advance, U.S. drone Mexico cartel mission

Tonight's story comes from a mother named Sarah who reached out to me through a mutual acquaintance after years of keeping silent about what happened to her family in the remote forests of Alabama. When she first contacted me, she could barely get through the telling without breaking down, especially when describing the night she heard her own voice calling her youngest son into the darkness—while she was standing right beside him.Sarah and her two boys, ages ten and twelve, fled to an inherited cabin in the Bankhead National Forest to escape an abusive relationship. What should have been a healing retreat in nature became a two-month ordeal that defies conventional explanation. The creatures that stalked her family didn't just throw rocks or make strange vocalizations—they learned. They studied. They mimicked the family's voices with perfect accuracy, always trying to lure one of them outside. What makes Sarah's account particularly disturbing is the apparent intelligence behind these encounters. These weren't random animal behaviors but calculated attempts to separate and take her youngest son, Ben. The female creature that Sarah describes seemed to be mourning a lost child of her own, leading to questions about what these beings actually are and what they truly wanted with a human boy. The historical pattern Sarah uncovered in old newspaper archives—children vanishing in that exact area for decades—adds another layer of horror to her experience. Each disappearance left behind the same massive footprints that were always dismissed by authorities. Some reports even describe tall, hair-covered figures seen with smaller companions that looked almost, but not quite, human. Three years later, Ben still dreams about the "forest mommy" who called to him.At sixteen, he's drawn to wooded areas in ways that terrify his mother, and during a recent camping trip, teachers found him standing at the forest's edge at 3 AM, fully awake, listening to something only he could hear calling from the darkness.Sarah's story raises uncomfortable questions about the nature of these beings and their interest in our children. Are they simply animals operating on instinct? Or are they something more complex—intelligent enough to plan, patient enough to wait, and alien enough that we may never understand their true intentions? As always, I leave it to you to decide what you believe. But Sarah's warning bears repeating: if you ever hear a familiar voice calling from the darkness, especially if it sounds like someone you know is standing right beside you, don't answer. Some things that watch us from the forests have learned our voices, and they're very, very patient.Get Our FREE NewsletterGet Brian's Books Leave Us A VoicemailVisit Our WebsiteSupport Our SponsorsVisit Untold Radio AMBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sasquatch-odyssey--4839697/support.

This Crosstalk featured Paul Washer who originally became a missionary to Peru where he founded the HeartCry Missionary Society. Today he works at his home church in Alabama, but he also speaks periodically in other locations, as he did in February, 2008 at a VCY America rally. The broadcast began with Paul discussing how the gospel has been reduced to a number of simple questions which include: Do you know you are a sinner? Would you like to go to heaven? Would you like to pray and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart? If the respondent prays that prayer, we then ask if he/she was sincere. If the respondent says 'yes' to these questions, we declare the individual to be born-again. Paul pointed out how this is not the gospel of Jesus Christ '...and that methodology and evangelism has done more to hurt this country than every heresy introduced by every cult combined.' This is just the beginning as Paul expounds on other aspects of the true gospel. For example, there's the importance of the need for preaching on sin so that people see the contrast of where they stand eternally in the light of God's perfection. From there he moves on to explain the concepts of justification, grace and propitiation.

From "Bloody Sunday" to Modern Activism: Civil Rights Leaders Reflect on LegacyThis show is made possible thanks our members! To become a sustaining member go to https://LauraFlanders.org/donate   Thank you for your continued support!Description: 60 years ago in Selma, Alabama, state troopers beat peaceful protesters bloody on the Edmund Pettus Bridge as they marched for civil rights. The horror of “Bloody Sunday” and the resilience of the Civil Rights Movement ultimately led to the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and many of the landmark achievements that are now directly under attack. As civil rights activists look to history to understand — and prepare for — the present, Laura walks the Bridge and talks with, among others, Sheyann Webb Christburg, who marched at the age of eight, Black Voters Matter co-founders LaTosha Brown and Clifford Albright; law professor and author Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw and Maya Wiley, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. What does people power look like today? Plus, a commentary from Laura on name calling then and now.“We're not going to phone bank our way out of this. We're not going to text our way out of this. And in truth, we're not even going to vote our way out of this . . . It's going to take revisiting some of the same strategies that we saw here in Selma, in terms of nonviolent civil disobedience and direct action.” - Clifford Albright“When we see and hear and think about fascism, we think about anti-democratic movements in Europe. We think about the Holocaust . . . But for Black people, as Langston Hughes said, you don't have to explain to us what fascism is. We experienced it. That is what we were fighting, for the 60, 70 years after Reconstruction was overthrown.” - Kimberlé CrenshawGuests:• Clifford Albright: Co-Founder & Executive Director, Black Voters Matter• Willard and Kiba Armstead: Veteran & Spouse• Trayvon Bossa: Sigma Chapter Member, Miles College Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity• LaTosha Brown: Co-Founder, Black Voters Matter• Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw: Co-Founder & Executive Director, African American Policy Forum; Host of the Intersectionality Matters! In 1985, Charles McCrory found his wife, Julie Bonds, brutally murdered in their Andalusia, Alabama, home. Just two small marks on her arm—misrepresented in court as a definitive “bite mark”—became the sole forensic evidence used to convict him for her murder.A forensic odontologist, famed for testifying at Ted Bundy's trial, claimed the impressions matched McCrory's like a fingerprint. Yet decades later, that same expert fully recanted the testimony, acknowledging the scientific consensus now recognises bite mark evidence as unreliable “junk science”.With no blood, no DNA, and hair in the victim's hand that didn't match McCrory's, his conviction rested entirely on this flawed forensic interpretation. Over 40 years later, even as two independent forensic dentists testified that the so called bite mark was never human, Alabama courts repeatedly denied him a new trial, judging that his lengthy imprisonment still stood, and that procedural hurdles outweighed modern scienceIn July 2024, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to review his case. Justice Sotomayor warned that wrongful convictions like his, based on “faulty science,” are startlingly common and urged state and federal lawmakers to enact stronger safeguards to prevent miscarriages of justice. One Minute Remaining LIVE in Melbourne get your tix now Join the One Minute Remaining Jury via Appl + HERE and get OMR early and ad free for as little as $1.69 a week!Become a Jury member on Patreon and find us on Facebook here. MDJ Script/ Top Stories for August 13th Publish Date: August 13th Commercial: From the BG Ad Group Studio, Welcome to the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast. Today is Wednesday, August 13th and Happy Birthday to Mark Lemke I’m Keith Ippolito and here are the stories Cobb is talking about, presented by Times Journal Kennesaw man suspected in CDC shooting reportedly fixated on COVID vaccine Cyclists celebrate Cobb Silver Comet extension Cobb Young Professionals names Next Generation Award winners All of this and more is coming up on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! BREAK: INGLES 1 STORY 1: Kennesaw man suspected in CDC shooting reportedly fixated on COVID vaccine Mourners gathered outside the CDC’s Atlanta headquarters Monday, leaving flowers, balloons, and handwritten notes at a makeshift memorial for Officer David Rose, who was killed in Friday’s shooting. A large cardboard sign with Rose’s photo was covered in messages—“Thank you for your service,” “You’re a hero.” DeKalb officers R.E. Ramsey and J. Nelson, who worked with Rose, stopped by to pay their respects. “He was just a great person,” Nelson said quietly. The shooting unfolded Friday afternoon when Patrick Joseph White, 30, of Kennesaw, opened fire near the CDC campus. White, reportedly distraught over his dog’s death and blaming the COVID vaccine for his depression, tried to enter the CDC but was stopped by security. He then drove to a nearby CVS and began shooting. Officer Rose, a Marine veteran and father of two with another child on the way, responded to the call. He was critically injured and later died at Grady Memorial Hospital. The CDC, Emory University, and local law enforcement have increased security measures in the wake of the attack. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe for Rose’s family has raised over $235,000. The investigation continues, with the GBI calling the scene “complex” and evidence collection ongoing. STORY 2: Cyclists celebrate Cobb Silver Comet extension The Silver Comet Trail was alive with energy Saturday as hundreds of cyclists hit the pavement to celebrate the long-awaited trail extension and raise awareness for multiple sclerosis. The new 2.1-mile Silver Comet Connector, funded by the PATH Foundation, links Cobb County to Atlanta, weaving through East-West Connector, Plant Atkinson Road, and along Atlanta Road to the Chattahoochee River. It’s a big step toward a dream: a continuous path connecting Atlanta to Alabama. Riders gathered at the Floyd Road Trailhead, led by Mableton Councilwoman Patricia Auch, while Team Noodle—a group raising funds for MS research—started their 17.5-mile trek from Atlanta. Volunteers greeted riders with water, bananas, and goodie bags at the finish, while Cobb County leaders celebrated the milestone. “It’s the future,” Auch said. “When it’s fully connected, it’s going to be incredible.” For Roberta Cook, who’s spent 20 years advocating for this extension, the day was emotional. “I’m just so glad I lived to see it,” she said. Cyclist Cecelia Saxon summed it up: “The camaraderie, the exercise, the trees—it’s all just beautiful.” STORY 3: Cobb Young Professionals names Next Generation Award winners Cobb Young Professionals announced Adam Ross and Natalie DeLancey as the 2025 Next Generation Award winners on Monday—and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. Ross, who’s been with the Cumberland CID for six years, has done everything from securing millions in state funding for a pedestrian bridge to launching One Cumberland, a nonprofit expanding the district’s mission. “He’s shaping Cobb’s future,” said Chamber spokeswoman Amy Selby. DeLancey, meanwhile, runs the City Springs Theatre Company, pulling off a $3 million budget and reaching 50,000 patrons annually. Oh, and her students? They’ve snagged $10.5 million in scholarships this year alone. For more, check out cobbchamber.org. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.799.6810 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: COBB INT. FESTIVAL STORY 4: Man charged with burglary after entering school with knife, drug paraphernalia Dusty Gene Beals, from Eatonton, is facing some serious charges after allegedly breaking into Pebblebrook High School in the middle of the night—1:04 a.m. on Aug. 5, to be exact. According to a Cobb County Police warrant, Beals was caught with a folding knife (blade over two inches) and a glass pipe typically used for smoking meth. He’s now charged with second-degree burglary, having a weapon on school property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Oddly enough, his name doesn’t show up in jail records, leaving a few unanswered questions about his whereabouts. STORY 5: Loudermilk, McBath talk Trump at chamber luncheon Monday’s Cobb Chamber luncheon brought U.S. Reps. Lucy McBath and Barry Loudermilk to the stage—separately, of course—to share their starkly different takes on the Trump administration. McBath, speaking first, didn’t hold back. She slammed federal funding cuts to gun violence prevention programs, calling them part of a “wider rollback” that’s hurting communities. As a mother who lost her son to gun violence, her words carried weight. She also criticized Trump’s tariffs and healthcare policies, calling his second term chaotic. Loudermilk, on the other hand, praised Trump’s vision of a “golden era” for America, rooted in what he called “American exceptionalism.” He compared it to the Wright brothers’ era—bold, innovative, and unafraid to challenge the status quo. Loudermilk emphasized smaller government and individual rights as the key to a thriving economy. Two lawmakers, two visions—one room full of opinions. Break: STORY 6: Atlanta Ballet to have Balanchine & Peck The Atlanta Ballet is kicking off its 2025-26 season with Balanchine & Peck, a stunning mixed-rep performance that blends the timeless genius of George Balanchine with the fresh, modern creativity of Justin Peck. Running Sept. 12-14 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the program features three works: the romantic Emeralds, the bold and abstract In Creases, and the iconic Prodigal Son. Artistic Director Gennadi Nedvigin, celebrating his 10th season, calls it the perfect opener. “Prodigal Son is deeply personal to me—it’s the role that changed my career,” he shared. Tickets are available at atlantaballet.com or the venue box office. STORY 7: Man accused of attacking officer with steel pipe at Marietta Hilton Joseph Wilhoit, 33, of Marietta, is facing some serious charges after a chaotic encounter with police on Aug. 6 at the Hilton Atlanta Marietta Hotel. According to the arrest warrant, things escalated fast. When an officer informed Wilhoit he had warrants and was under arrest, he didn’t go quietly—he pulled away, grabbed a six-foot steel pipe, and swung it at the officer. He missed, thankfully, but the two wrestled for several minutes before Wilhoit finally let go of the pipe. After his arrest, officers found 10 grams of meth in his pocket. Wilhoit remains in custody, charged with aggravated assault, obstruction, and drug possession. No bond. We’ll have closing comments after this. Jon Gruden to coach in the SEC? He says he'd 'die' for the chance

Jon Gruden says he'd "die to coach in the SEC." We must assume he's being hyperbolic, but the former NFL coach sounds serious about wanting to coach again – and wanting to coach in college. He's not the only former coach with an eye toward new opportunities. Former Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher says he's up for a return to the sideline, too. This projects as an active year for the hot seat, so would either Gruden or Fisher be a worthwhile consideration for an SEC athletic director? That debate takes center stage on today's episode, featuring hosts Blake Toppmeyer and John Adams. Their verdict: Neither Gruden nor Fisher would seem particularly appealing within the SEC, although Toppmeyer offers one SEC school that might make some sense, depending on its level of desperation. Of the two possibilities, the hosts agree Gruden offers more intrigue than Fisher, who received everything a coach could want with the Aggies and couldn't make it work. Gruden would be the ultimate wild card. Later in the episode, the hosts weigh in on Alabama naming Ty Simpson its starting quarterback and what that means for Kalen DeBoer's second season. For more from Toppmeyer and Adams, sign up for the SEC Unfiltered newsletter, delivered free to your email inbox.

In this episode of Behind the Uniform - Season 3 - we feature sophomore running back Jordan Marshall. The former Ohio high school player of the year reflects upon his decision to commit to Michigan over Ohio State, emphasizing the culture and people in Ann Arbor among the key reasons why. He recalls the emotions he felt during the coaching staff changes and explains why he maintained his commitment. The conversation turns to his freshman season, the memorable victory over Ohio State, and the significance of the rivalry especially to players from those states like himself. Marshall highlights his performance in the bowl game against Alabama before attention shifts to insights gleaned from Behind the Uniform's financial literacy boot camp. Marshall shares lessons learned from the "Playbook for Prosperity" seminar with the University of Michigan Credit Union stressing the importance of budgeting, and David Himich from The Himich Group at Morgan Stanley on long-term financial planning. The interview concludes with Marshall discussing his readiness for a leadership role in the offense, sharing his early impressions of Bryce Underwood, and sharing his reaction to Jeremiah Smith's promise that Ohio State will not lose Michigan again as long as he's in a Buckeye uniform.
