David Randolph Scott is an alleged predator that was caught in a Blount County, Alabama investigation of Takedown with Chris Hansen. At the time of the sting, Scott had been living in Adamsville, Alabama with his wife. He also had two children, one 35 and one 38. Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon said that Scott did not have a criminal record. Scott worked as a Toyota car salesman but was described as being "semi-retired" at the time. Scott had been communicating with a decoy posing as a fifteen-year-old girl. He agreed to pay the girl $50 for a blowjob. Scott arrived to the sting house, but quickly turned around and drove off. A few minutes later, he returned to the house and parked in the drive way, greeting the decoy at the door. Once Chris came around the corner, Scott attempted to flee out the front door but was quickly apprehended by deputies. While being handcuffed, Scott stated that he was only "coming to visit." He denied ever meeting anyone online for sex in the past, despite his previous charge for soliciting prostitution. Scott did admit to knowing the decoy's age and requesting a blowjob from her, but claimed that he changed his mind. The time has come! The College Football Playoff bracket is set and it came with plenty of drama surrounding the reveal. After a championship Saturday consisting of a now 8-5 Duke team becoming ACC champions and #9 Alabama being dominated by #3 Georgia, the question was raised of who would get the final at-large spots in the Playoff? Would Miami finally be ranked ahead of Notre Dame? Could both teams get in and Alabama fall out? Would the ACC have no representative at all? We now have our answers. Notre Dame was left out in the cold after the committee kept Alabama in at #9 and jumped Miami to #10. Andy Staples, Ross Dellenger and Steven Godfrey share their thoughts on the committee's final bracket. They also dive further into Notre Dame being left out. Why did the committee change their mind in the final ranking? Should they have been in the field? Who has the best path in the bracket? The guys discuss. Then, they dive further into the question of if it is already time to expand the playoff to 16 teams. Andy and Godfrey also look at if conference championship games should be eliminated and more importantly, if the weekly College Football Playoff rankings show should be changed. How should ESPN change the show that seems to only provide controversy, questions and inconsistencies?Later, Ross Dellenger rejoins the show and shares his conversation with Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua. He shares Bevacqua's thoughts on Notre Dame not making the CFP and what went on behind the scenes within the Notre Dame building when the team found out. Bevacqua also calls for the elimination of the weekly CFP ranking shows. Andy, Ross and Godfrey discuss Ross and Bevacqua's conversation and they also debate if it is time for Notre Dame to join a conference.Come get all the College Football Playoff insights on College Football Enquirer.(1:09) - College Football Playoff bracket revealed(4:16) - Thoughts on the bracket(16:05) - Should Notre Dame have been in the CFP?(26:28) - Should the Playoff expand to 16 teams?(44:52) - Does the weekly CFP rankings show need to be eliminated?(48:11) - Ross' conversation with Notre Dame Athletic Director Pete Bevacqua(55:44 ) - Does Notre Dame need to join a conference? Jeremiah 33:1–16 (Listen) The Lord Promises Peace 33:1 The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the guard: 2 “Thus says the LORD who made the earth,1 the LORD who formed it to establish it—the LORD is his name: 3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. 4 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah that were torn down to make a defense against the siege mounds and against the sword: 5 They are coming in to fight against the Chaldeans and to fill them2 with the dead bodies of men whom I shall strike down in my anger and my wrath, for I have hidden my face from this city because of all their evil. 6 Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security. 7 I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel, and rebuild them as they were at first. 8 I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, and I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me. 9 And this city3 shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it. 10 “Thus says the LORD: In this place of which you say, ‘It is a waste without man or beast,' in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man or inhabitant or beast, there shall be heard again 11 the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the LORD: “‘Give thanks to the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!' For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the LORD. 12 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: In this place that is waste, without man or beast, and in all of its cities, there shall again be habitations of shepherds resting their flocks. 13 In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negeb, in the land of Benjamin, the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, flocks shall again pass under the hands of the one who counts them, says the LORD. The Lord's Eternal Covenant with David 14 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. 15 In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ‘The LORD is our righteousness.' Footnotes [1] 33:2 Septuagint; Hebrew it [2] 33:5 That is, the torn-down houses [3] 33:9 Hebrew And it (ESV)

The Southeastern 16 crew breaks down the rematch between Alabama and Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff, which takes place in Norman, Oklahoma. Topics include: Oklahoma won the first matchup in a game that was uncharacteristic for both teams as the Crimson Tide nearly doubled up the Sooners in total offense, but lost the turnover battle. Health for Alabama--particularly, running back Jam Miller, tight end Josh Cuevas and perhaps even quarterback Ty Simpson--is key. Oklahoma's defense has been salty thanks to R Mason Thomas and company. The Sooners have 40 sacks and one of the best front sevens in the country and will face an Alabama offensive line that's struggled. Oklahoma's Isaiah Sategna has generated some big plays for an offense led by John Mateer, which has otherwise struggled much of the season. Alabama's defense, led by Bray Hubbard, has been consistent and helped the Crimson Tide get here. Alabama's Ryan Williams has been missing in action, but Germie Bernard and Isaiah Horton have done good things. However, the Crimson Tide have been abysmal at rushing the ball without Miller. The Sooners have edges in home field and possibly in weather, but Alabama has played well on the road. Watch special teams as a factor--Alabama has struggled, while Tate Sandell has been one of the country's best kickers for the Sooners. On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT breaks down why Notre Dame opting out of their bowl game is a massive turning point for college football and why Notre Dame sent a message the sport can't ignore. He dives into how BYU got left out of the playoff despite playing for a conference title and why the committee treated Alabama like royalty while dismissing BYU without hesitation. JT explains how Notre Dame, BYU, and Alabama exposed the brutal truth about playoff expansion and the death of bowl season. This is a raw, late-night rant about power, perception, and why Notre Dame and BYU never had the same political leverage Alabama walks in with every year.
Norm wakes up on a Monday and immediately chooses violence… toward the College Football Playoff Committee. In today's episode, he tries to make sense of a ranking system that apparently pulls names out of a decorative bowl, rewards three-loss teams, and somehow decided James Madison is the belle of the postseason ball while Notre Dame and BYU get left standing outside holding the corsage. If you thought the BCS was bad, congratulations — we've upgraded to BCS: Reloaded, now with bonus nonsense. Norm breaks down the committee's “logic,” why head-to-head apparently matters only when it's convenient, and how a game played in AUGUST somehow shaped December rankings.Spoiler: Norm is unimpressed. What a finish! After 14 weeks of an incredible season, college football may have saved the best for last. In this episode, we walk back through the biggest storylines for all nine conference championship games in Week 15, starting with Indiana defying expectations and closing out a thin win over Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship. Not to be outdone, Georgia layed the smack down on Alabama, winning the SEC for the second straight year and potentially throwing the CFP bubble into a state of disarray. Does the Tide still deserve a playoff bid? Speaking of chaos, the unranked Duke Blue Devils upset Virginia to take the ACC, opening up the possibility that the conference will be left out entirely with two Group of Five teams sneaking in the side door. And finally, Texas Tech took care of business and beat BYU for the second time this season by a 20+ point margin. On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT breaks down why the College Football Playoff is completely broken after championship weekend and how the system is failing the sport. JT explains why Alabama deserves a playoff spot even at 10–3, why conference championships have lost all meaning, and how the ACC embarrassed college football with an 8–5 champion. He dives into how Indiana beating Ohio State changes the entire future of roster building and why Kurt Signetti just shattered every old rule about who can contend for a national title. JT also unpacks how Georgia dismantled Alabama, exposed every flaw in the Crimson Tide, and reminded the country why Kirby Smart still runs this sport.
