After graduating college and getting “good jobs” just like we're told we're supposed to do, Chelsea and Bailey quickly realized they weren't cut out for that life. They were both unhappy being apart from each other and while their jobs were in their fields of interest they didn't fulfill them. After some brainstorming they decided that real estate was the path they needed to take. After getting licensed and trained they noticed that the methods for acquiring clients were very old school and transactional, so they decided to implement some of their own strategies as well. They paired old ways, new ways, and probably most importantly a lot of hard work to become successful real estate agents and eventually brokers. Wealth is not created by selling real estate, it's created by buying real estate. They realized this and began investing for the future. They have several cool properties at the moment and are always looking for opportunities. You can find my form "See If You Qualify for Free Marketing" at:https://form.jotform.com/241068502657053Diversified Payments:http://www.diversifiedpayments.com/wealthycowboy
Andy developed a love for roping and horses and livestock at a young age. When it came time to “grow up” he didn't really know what he wanted to do. Andy tried college a couple times and he tried working a “real” job but he was never fulfilled by it. With the push from his grandpa Andy took a big chance and moved to TX. He didn't know anyone besides some connections his family had, but he knew it was a big opportunity. Andy bounced around helping shoe horses, trade livestock, and any odd job he could find to get by. His network began to grow and bigger opportunities presented themselves. Andy began to auctioneer different sales, he bought a car lot, started a roping cattle sale, and started ranching his own stock. Andy's big risks paid off and he developed a big roping cattle sale and ended up owning his own salebarn. Andy plans to continue ranching and is looking for new opportunities after the salebarn sold. You can find my form "See If You Qualify for Free Marketing" at:https://form.jotform.com/241068502657053Diversified Payments:http://www.diversifiedpayments.com/wealthycowboy

In this episode we go over the top 3 things you should know about: how to make money, how to invest money, and how to give back to charity. Kasey followed his love of the outdoors and found a way to monetize it. He started as a county extension agent barely getting by and started a side business helping people with large ranches sell hunts. His side business began to grow and he eventually got a client that changed his life, Gary Keller. Gary mentored him and helped him get started in the real estate business. The only problem was Keller-Williams didn't have a farm/ranch division so Kasey helped create it and make it successful. Kasey also understands the importance of investing for the future and buys many different types of real estate to grow his wealth. Giving back is a huge thing with Kasey personally and his business. The brokerage gives to many different causes throughout the year and Kasey is directly involved in a charity that helps feed the hungry with beef. Kody started out with gold buckle dreams in the rodeo industry. His drive to win the all around led him to compete in all the timed events, but that wasn't enough. He thought he could get more points if he got in the cutting. Little did he know that his connection to the cutting world led him to an introduction to one of the greatest of all time Buster Welch. Kody saw the opportunity in front of him and was able to go work for Buster on his ranch. He learned what hard work meant, a lot about cowboying, and a lot about the relationship between a horse and a cow. He realized that there may be more out there than day working and rodeoing for a living, so, with some encouragement from his better half, he decided to load up and move to Weatherford to learn the cutting horse industry. After working for and around other trainers he finally decided to go out on his own. It's definitely had its ups and downs but Kody is considered one of the best cutting horse trainers in the industry. Earlier on this year I took a family trip to Disney World Florida for the first time. I've never been before so I had absolutely no point of reference as to what the experience was going to be like. It goes without saying that it was epic. While I was out there I still carried on with my Weekly Group Coaching calls with my amazing Fearless Crew, and so after ten days at Disney I shared my business lessons with them on the call. So, what you're listening to is me speaking on a coaching call, if it feels more/less formal that usual or different to my typical podcast recordings. What were my business lessons from Disney? 1. Add Upgrades and Upsells Into Your Business: There is just incredible demand at Disney...throughout the year...ALL of the time! And despite there being four parks there are only a handful of big experience rides at each park. Which means that if you want to get onto those rides, you've got to a) upgrade to the Genie+ feature in the Disney App...which is a daily upgrade of about $36 per person (EVERY DAY!!!!)...which then unlocks Lightening Lanes. What could you introduce into your business to give people an upgrade? In Fearless Business I have the Group Accelerator, but if you want to hang out with me 1:2:1 then you have to upgrade to my Hybrid Coaching programme or full 1:2:1 Business Coaching. Food at Disney is also a premium. Drinks are a premium. With their having a captive audience you can't escape spending even more money while you're there. 2. Customer Services and Remarkable Value Just brilliant...at every single part of Disney...just brilliant! 3. Stimulating the Demand with FREE Marketing! What I loved was the photographers throughout the parks and it was included to have your photos taken. You could approach any photographer and have your photo taken, scan your card and they'd send it into your Disney App within seconds. Why would they do this for free? Instead of you paying for it? Disney know that you're going to share their photos on social media and with your family, and they want those photos and Disney to be seen in the best possible light. So it's brilliant free marketing for Disney. What could you do to encourage people to talk about and share your business and brand FOR FREE? And FOMO is a huge part of marketing within the parks as well. The queues are long and it makes you want to go on the rides MORE not less. So if you are too cheap you're signalling to the market that you "have lots of supply" available...i.e. you're not in demand. So, why would people get FOMO when you're not in demand. Limit your supply and you'll find you have a waitlist for your services. 4. Requesting Reviews Disney have all sorts of marketing assets driving people towards their parks. But within 15 minutes of me leaving the park in my Uber, I received a notification asking for a review. Which got pumped straight out into social media. How can you automate requesting review from your customers? Social media is not free marketing. In fact, it may be costing you more than you can afford. Nothing good is ever free. And social media is not free marketing despite what you may have heard others say. In fact, relying on social media to grow your business is one of the top mistakes I see entrepreneurs make online. Instead, grow your business without social media, grow your business your way, the way that feels good and is aligned with your values. You don't have to do what the experts say to do. What are the costs of social media? Many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of believing that social media is free marketing and therefore the end all be all of growing a business. Here's what you need to know instead. Social media platforms are owned by businessmen who want to make big money and they do so through paid ads. They are not interested in your business or your success. Algorithms have been created not for you to beat, but for them to drive traffic to the businesses paying the most in ad spend. Because of this, only 2% of the people who follow you on social media will ever see your content. Even fewer will engage with it. Unless, of course, you are paying for ads. And even then, you are at risk of who the ads are bringing into your community. Are they soulmate clients or people looking for something free? If you put all of your efforts into growing your business on social media, you are missing out on lucrative opportunities for long-term growth and a consistent stream of clients. Build the foundation first if you want long-term success First and foremost, the foundation of your business includes your unique personal brand, a website with search-engine-optimized copy and blog content, an email marketing strategy, an overall marketing strategy (communicating your uniqueness and expertise and building relationships), and systems and processes to simplify and automate. Entrepreneurship is not one size fits all. Someone may have a lot of money to invest upfront in software programs, funnels, teams, etc. while others do not. No matter your budget, the best thing you can do is build the foundation first before spending countless hours and resources on social media. Start with a strategy for optimizing your website. Google is much more powerful than Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Raving fans do not equate to people investing in your business. When people search for you or your product or service on Google, they are ready to buy. Unlike when people go to social media, they are browsing without the intent to buy. They are simply collecting information. Kind of like getting their toes wet on the beach versus going all in and diving into the waves. When you grow your business without social media and build a solid foundation first, you are more likely to succeed. Read the full show notes and access all links.
