If you want to suffer by knee pain don't read this article!!!!Until I changed my life I had to suffer from severe knee pain. Sometimes it was so awful, when I went up the stairs the knee pain knocked me down… And I had strong scoliosis with severe disk problems and that impacted my knees… How healthy knee joints are working? We have liquid inside of the knees that helps to rejuvenate the knees and to lubricate the knees… Through moving of our knees the healthy knee joints get its nutritions through the pumping (caused by the moving of the knee joints) of the liquid in and out. And by that, the Cartilage will be restored!!!So more we use our knees so better they get.If we have clogged the supply or the drain of this liquid our knees can't function properly anymore… And this happens through: Arthrosis (happen by older people).Arthritis (inflammation inside of the knee).Or calcium crystals inside of the knee joints. Or through accidents … The Arthrosis or the Calcium crystals in the joints are caused by acid food like meat, fish, poultry and industrially produced food… What to do? Maybe change your Diet and make Body-exercises? If the knee pain is increasing more and more, the reason might be that the blood supply is loaded with unhealthy ingredients - Acid food…and too less exercises … You need to exercise your knees:with less pressure… and your knees should bend and never should be straight… So what, get a bicycle and adjust the saddle to the height that your knee will be never straight (20% is perfect). Ride the bicycle every day for at least 20 minutes. And eat every day 1 spoon Gelatin (blend it with water) to regrow the Cartilage. And if you do so your knee can recover!!Never stand with straight knees! Because it blocks the energy and your knees are not designed for that… Look at monkeys… YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR DIET! Otherwise, the unhealthy blood will not support the healing … for this you need healthy blood that doesn't clog the arteries inside of the knee!!! And today medicaments even slowing our healing! The orthopedic doctor tells you from a worn-out knee… and that is total nonsense because the knees are rebuilding itself again and again when using proper exercise and healthy food (get rid of your meat!!!) If we see the whole structure of our legs and spine we discover that if one part of the legs or spine is not working properly it will affect the knees… And that is so crucial to understand. What will affect the knees? For instance :Scoliosis.Problems/pain in the lower back, or neck. The disk (Lumber) L3 is protruded or broken. Standing a long time with straight knees.High heels shoes or unhealthy shoes… get a medical foot sole. Because all of these examples will change the bio-mechanics and geometry of the knee-joints… Side effects: Digestion-, bladder-, sleep- problems… Even a small injury can affect your whole body… You have to restore everything in your lower back, in the legs and even in your whole spine so that your knees can function properly…Otherwise, the damage will become worse every day! My Tibetan doctor said, your knee-pain has a history… It starts slowly. And so I did, and my knees and spine are healed and I don't have pain for over 20 years! Healing suggestion by Osteopathy:If you inject dextrose with water in the cartilages of the knees the cartilage will grow. And so you can rebuild your joints. On this eye-opening episode of Vitality Radio, Jared breaks down the part of the supplement label most people ignore: other Ingredients. While active ingredients get all the attention, it's often the excipients—binders, fillers, flow agents, coatings, and colorants—that determine whether your supplement is truly clean and effective. Jared exposes why manufacturers use these "inactive" ingredients, how they impact product quality, and which common additives you should avoid. You'll learn how to read this overlooked section of your supplement label and become an informed, empowered consumer.Additional Information:#525: Decoding Supplement Fact Panels and Becoming a More Informed ConsumerOther Ingredients Breakdown Blog PostVisit the podcast website here: VitalityRadio.comYou can follow @vitalitynutritionbountiful and @vitalityradio on Instagram, or Vitality Radio and Vitality Nutrition on Facebook. This is retro and wonderful, and nothing at all like the flavored gelatin molds with fruit that you ate as a child. A refreshing mix of fruit teas and fresh berries, it is as pretty as can be and delicious as part of a summer buffet. Just the conversation it generates makes it worth trying!
In this shiur we discuss: 1) Returning an extra amazon package that got delivered, 2) The laws of Asara B'Teves, 3) Does a married woman have to cover her hair for brachos and prayer, 4) Gelatin capsules for medicine, 5) Pointing during hagbaah, 6) Learning mishnayos for 2 different people who passed away. In this episode, we tackle osteoarthritis and how lifestyle choices can help prevent or alleviate its effects. Dr. Hassell provides practical advice on reducing pain, improving mobility, and possibly avoiding joint replacement through exercise, weight management, and a Mediterranean-style diet. Whether you're dealing with arthritis or looking to maintain healthy joints for the future, this episode is packed with actionable tips to empower your health journey. Key Takeaways: Movement is Medicine: Regular, varied exercises like water walking, tai chi, and resistance training can reduce stiffness, improve function, and lower surgery risks. Weight Loss Matters: Shedding even a few pounds significantly reduces joint stress and pain. Diet is Key: Avoid refined carbs, prioritize fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats like olive oil, and consider natural sources of calcium and probiotics. Supplements for Joint Health: A three-month trial of glucosamine sulfate, MSM, gelatin/collagen, and niacinamide may provide relief for some. Long-term Benefits: Lifestyle changes can reverse type 2 diabetes, normalize blood pressure, and even reduce cancer risks, underscoring the power of daily habits. References: Katz et al. In the '70s, gelatin was very much in vogue. Gatherings often featured a colorful, molded jello salad that contained surprising ingredients from cottage cheese to tuna. Those dishes have since fallen out of favor, but a new cookbook by Peter DiMario and Judith Choate declares that gelatin is back. Jiggle! includes modernized recipes for sweet, savory and layered dishes, such as Grandma's Ambrosia and Watermelon Margarita Bites. In today's episode, DiMario talks with Here & Now's Deepa Fernandes about the origins of gelatin, how to achieve the perfect suspension, and the fun of updating gelatin dishes with fresh ingredients and flavors. To listen to Book of the Day sponsor-free and support NPR's book coverage, sign up for Book of the Day+ at plus.npr.org/bookofthedayLearn more about sponsor message choices: podcastchoices.com/adchoicesNPR Privacy Policy

Could this formula be of help in anxiety conditions? Join us as we find out! And, as usual, we will be adding something a little different…we are going to discuss calcium, its physiological role as well as its Chinese medical role and its supplementation. Each episode of the podcast will go into great depth about a single herb or formula. Besides covering the basics of herbology including category, and functions, we will explore the history, quality, science, pharmacology, evidence, and any potential interactions of each herb or formula. Please join us as we find out more about this fascinating Chinese formula, huang lian e jiao tang (coptis and ass-hide gelatin decoction)!
In this episode of High Theory, Laura Stamm talks about the biopic. One of the oldest forms of narrative cinema, biographical pictures are a mainstay of the medium today. Early biopics played an important role in public health discourse, representing the discoveries of science and the lives of scientists, which in turn led queer artists to adopt the genre in response to the AIDS crisis. Laura's book, The Queer Biopic in the AIDS Era (Oxford UP, 2022), asks why queer filmmakers repeatedly produced biographical films of queer individuals living and dead throughout the years surrounding the AIDS crisis. These films evoke the genre's history building up lives worthy of admiration and emulation and the parallel history of representing lives damaged. By portraying lives damaged by inconceivable loss, queer filmmakers challenge the illusion of a coherent self presumably reinforced by the biopic genre and in doing so, their films open the potential for new means of connection and relationality. In the episode Laura references many films, including the Greta Garbo film Queen Christina (1933); Freud: The Secret Passion (1962); The Story of Louis Pasteur (1936); Dr. Ehrlich's Magic Bullet (1940); John Greyson's musical Zero Patience (1993); and the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black (2024). Her research extends beyond the 1980s moment of crisis, and in the episode she gives a good explainer pre-code Hollywood and (briefly) the New Queer Cinema of the 1990s. If you were interested in this episode and want to learn more about queer representation in US popular culture, check out Margaret Galvan's episode on Visibility. The research for this episode showed me it has a long and proud history as an exclusive food that us moderns poorly understand. As an American I am incredibly suspicious of savory jellies. I have been fooled into missing some good stuff. How did it all go wrong? They came up with the idea of serving ready-made food frozen on a convenient tray. - If you ever ate dinner at your grandma's house as a kid, you probably tasted the stuff once or twice. Gelatin was first used in dishes back in medieval Europe and was partly made from the collagen in animal bones. - Back in 1968, many kids could be seen sipping on a cold bottle of SunnyD as a part of a well-balanced breakfast — and it was anything but. SunnyD tasted super sweet because it was primarily made of corn syrup and contained less than 5% juice. - One Hi-C Wild Cherry juice box contained a whopping 27 g of sugar, which is more than the American Heart Association recommends grown women ingest in a day — and these were intended for kids! - Back in the late '80s and ‘90s, Bubble Tape was a fan fave! But ever, since sugar-free gum became more popular and oral health, became more of a priority, this sugary sweet gum just wasn't as desirable anymore. - Ambrosia salad was usually found at family gatherings back when you or your parents were younger. This sweet salad actually came onto the scene back in the 1800s and usually featured special sweet treats that only appeared on special occasions. - Once people realized how bad trans fats were for them during the ‘90s, Crisco stopped being used as often. - It wasn't until the 1950s that cottage cheese became incredibly popular. It's very mild in flavor and isn't super high in fat, which was appealing to people from the ‘50s into the ‘70s. I was born with bad knees (too much play in the joint), and it went worse and worse, so I had to stop my skiing, mountain climbing, and volleyball. Today are my knees better than ever before in my life, and without any surgery. How did I cure my knees?Avoid always to stand, to lay with straight or stiff knees. Have you seen Judoka or other eastern Fighter… They always stand with loose knees. Because if the knees are straight, the joints are inflexible and can be easily hurt. Also, the energy can't flow. Imagine a shock absorber, our knees should absorb every physical and psychological shock and ground our negative emotions. If the knees are straight, then we get tension in our lowest part of our spine… When we are under stress the weakest part of our back is under tension, and we have back pain… 80% of the people who have back pain have also knee pain… and for sure they have too much stress.Have you seen old people? If the old people standing straight, we see a significant gap between the knees. The knee joints are one sided overloaded and so getting worse… (meniscus problems). Also, the supporting muscles from the knee joints are too weak. The gap between the knees and the too weak leg muscles will ruin every knee joints. What to do? We train the inside and outside muscles of the knees legs. Point both feet 30 to 45 grade inside and make knee bends. This will prevent that we get that gap or will make that gap smaller. Point both feet straight and make knee bends down to the ground. With both exercises, we get the muscles we need.Where is the pain there is the blockage… Massage your legs every day and look for the pain spots… The pain points are the area where should massage… After some days the pain is gone, and your leg is getting better. Also, make stretching exercises for the legs.We need to build up cartilage in the knees and this only possible through movements. Bicycle riding (without getting straight knees) is one of the best. Because of less load on the knees and many movements. Or swimming. Gelatin, fish collagen have the magic to build up cartilage in every joint of our body. This means body exercise for that cartilage and eating 6 sheets of Gelatin a day (or Gelatin for a half liter) for at least 3 months…Don't eat acid food, like meat, ketchup, because it will destroy every joint. My video: How to cure our Knees? https://youtu.be/gmVuHd4RXzwMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/How-to-cure-our-Knees.mp3
