Etappe des Giro d'Italia führte über 133 Kilometer von Aosta nach Pila und war die erste echte Alpenprüfung der Rundfahrt. Mit über 4.000 Höhenmetern und fünf langen Anstiegen wurde das Klassement ordentlich durcheinandergewirbelt.Der große Gewinner des Tages war Jonas Vingegaard. Der Däne attackierte rund fünf Kilometer vor dem Ziel am Schlussanstieg nach Pila und fuhr solo zum Etappensieg. Damit übernahm er auch erstmals das Rosa Trikot des Gesamtführenden.Hinter ihm kamen Felix Gall und Jai Hindley ins Ziel. Der bisherige Gesamtführende Afonso Eulálio verlor dagegen fast drei Minuten und fiel in der Gesamtwertung zurück.Insgesamt war die Etappe ein klarer Fingerzeig: Vingegaard und sein Team kontrollieren derzeit den Giro und gelten nun als die großen Favoriten auf den Gesamtsieg.Was erwartet uns auf der 15. Etappe des Giro d'Italia führte heute über 189 Kilometer von Alessandria nach Verbania und wurde zu einem klassischen Ausreißer-Erfolg. Der Italiener Alberto Bettiol gewann nach einer Attacke am letzten Anstieg solo vor Andreas Leknessund und Jasper Stuyven. Eine große Fluchtgruppe bestimmte lange das Rennen. Leknessund setzte sich zunächst am Schlussanstieg ab, wurde aber kurz vor der Kuppe von Bettiol eingeholt. Dank seiner Streckenkenntnis in der Region Verbania konnte Bettiol in der Abfahrt entscheidend Zeit herausfahren und seinen ersten Giro-Etappensieg seit fünf Jahren feiern. Im Gesamtklassement gab es kaum Veränderungen: Afonso Eulálio verteidigte das Rosa Trikot und liegt weiter 33 Sekunden vor Jonas Vingegaard. Was erwartet uns auf der 14. Etappe?Die 14. Etappe ist kurz, aber brutal. Nur 133 Kilometer liegen zwischen Aosta und Pila, doch darauf verteilen sich fünf Anstiege und insgesamt 4.350 Höhenmeter. Desde que se estabeleceu no Brasil, vem construindo uma trajetória singular em diálogo com alguns dos principais nomes da música e das artes cênicas do país.Em 2015, lançou seu primeiro disco autoral, O Canto da Madeira, celebrado pela crítica especializada como um dos destaques da música instrumental brasileira daquele ano. Subito apprezzato dai grandi poeti come W. B. Yeats e Ezra Pound, fu insignito in quello stesso anno del premio Nobel per la letteratura. Morì nel 1941.Nicola Magrin è nato a Milano nel 1978. Ha illustrato, tra le altre cose, l'opera di Primo Levi (Einaudi), Le otto montagne di Paolo Cognetti (Einaudi), Il silenzio di Erling Kagge (Einaudi), Alpi ribelli di Enrico Camanni (Editori Laterza), Le antiche vie di Robert Macfarlane (Einaudi) e i volumi di Tiziano Terzani (Tea). A Kiwi chef is demonstrating that success can be found even in a tough industry. Ben Bayly owns six restaurants around New Zealand, including Ahi and Aosta, and is set to open a seventh. Wellington will be getting its first dining experience helmed by Bayly, located in the infamous Wellington Pavillion. Between his six restaurants and his TV show ‘A New Zealand Food Story', which has just finished up its fourth season, Bayly lives a busy life. Despite this, the work isn't wearing him thin. “I have this sense of enthusiasm that I can't extinguish,” he told Mike Hosking. Known as the “Baby Scoop” era, tens of thousands of Italian unwed mothers were forced to give their children up for adoption, leaving behind generations of children devastated by their perceived abandonment. Though he was the treasured only child of his adoptive parents, Santo was bullied by his peers and struggled from an early age to fit in and connect with others. Growing up, the realization that he was gay further deepened this isolation, straining his relationship with the Church to which he was so dedicated and the parents he so loved. Despite self-doubt and fear, he refused to be stopped. He tried harder and achieved more, carving out a life as a caregiver, educator, writer and artist. But he was still on the outside.
