Voyageur Pharmaceuticals CEO Brent Willis joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the company has received a $600,000 grant from Alberta Innovates, a provincial Crown corporation and Alberta's largest research and innovation organization. The grant, awarded through the AICE-Market Access Program, is aimed at supporting the commercialization and market access of emerging health technologies in Alberta. Willis shared that the funds will be used for a pivotal study assessing the efficacy of Voyageur's Frances Creek barium sulfate compared to competing products. The study will focus on evaluating the performance of natural barite from Frances Creek against synthetic barium precipitate and oral iodine products. Currently, synthetic barium and diluted iodine contrast media dominate the fluoroscopy and Computed Tomography examination markets. Voyageur aims to highlight the superior imaging quality of its natural barium sulfate, attributed to its wider particle distribution. This research is expected to enhance the financial viability of the Frances Creek project and strengthen marketing strategies to drive sales growth. Willis also noted that Voyageur is in the testing and refinement phase for its five Health Canada licensed barium contrast products. The company is making steady progress toward its market launch, with a go-to-market plan that includes third-party barium sulfate imports and contract manufacturing partnerships. #proactiveinvestors #voyageurpharmaceuticalsltd #tsxv #vm #vyyrf #ctscan #xray #BrentWillis, #RainCage, #Nanoscience, #MRI, #CTScan, #MedicalBreakthrough, #Fullerenes, #Vanadium, #Gadolinium, #Bismuth, #Iodine, #Radiology, #MedicalInnovation, #DrugDevelopment, #Healthcare, #ScientificBreakthrough
Voyageur Pharmaceuticals CEO Brent Willis joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share details from a recently released Letter from the CEO, highlighting the company's significant achievements in 2024 and its ambitious plans for 2025. Willis reflected on 2024 as a transformative year for Voyageur, with the company entering into a Letter of Intent with a large multinational pharmaceutical company. This collaboration aims to improve production efficiencies and expand Voyageur's presence in the contrast media market. Both parties are actively working toward a definitive agreement, expected in early 2025. Voyageur introduced five new Health Canada-licensed barium contrast products aimed at raising the bar for medical imaging standards and enhancing diagnostic precision for healthcare professionals. This accomplishment followed 18 months of dedicated research and development. The company secured a $2.7 million sales distribution contract for its SmoothX 2% Barium Contrast product, solidifying its market presence in Latin America. Regulatory approvals are in progress, with sales slated to commence in the second half of 2025. Additionally, Voyageur is engaging with global distributors to broaden its reach. Voyageur is entering 2025 with a clear roadmap for advancing its product pipeline and market position, which includes extensive testing of its barium contrast formulations in human subjects is set to begin, with a focus on ensuring safety and efficacy in clinical settings. Voyageur aims to secure FDA approvals for its barium contrast products, demonstrating compliance with rigorous U.S. regulatory standards. A major initiative for 2025 involves advancing its iodine contrast drug development in the U.S. The goal is to produce the lowest-cost iodine contrast drugs in the market. Preliminary bench-scale testing has already commenced, and the company is laying the groundwork for full-scale production. With North America currently relying 100% on imported radiology drugs, Voyageur is focused on addressing critical mineral supply constraints. The company is working to establish the first secure, vertically integrated supply chain for radiology drugs in North America, aiming to fill critical gaps in the industry. As Willis explained, these efforts underscore Voyageur's commitment to innovation and its vision to redefine the radiology drug industry by providing secure, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for healthcare professionals. With its robust pipeline and strategic partnerships, Voyageur is well-positioned for sustained growth and success in 2025 and beyond. #proactiveinvestors #voyageurpharmaceuticalsltd #tsxv #vm #vyyrf #ctscan #xray #BrentWillis, #RainCage, #Nanoscience, #MRI, #CTScan, #MedicalBreakthrough, #Fullerenes, #Vanadium, #Gadolinium, #Bismuth, #Iodine, #Radiology, #MedicalInnovation, #DrugDevelopment, #Healthcare, #ScientificBreakthrough,
Voyageur Pharmaceuticals CEO Brent Willis joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the commencement of human testing for the company's latest suite of barium contrast products, designed to optimize radiographic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract. The product lineup, including SmoothX, SmoothHD, SmoothLD, VisionHD, and VisionLD, is tailored to provide enhanced clarity, detail, and versatility for both adult and pediatric imaging applications. Willis emphasized the importance of this milestone, as it represents a critical step toward the company's goal of entering the Canadian market in 2025. The human testing process is being conducted in two phase with Phase 1 in Q1 2025 and will focus on assessing product performance based on key indicators such as imaging quality, diagnostic yield, contrast administration success rates, detection sensitivity, and patient safety. The company says some additional metrics will include patient satisfaction, procedure completion rates, adverse event rates, and compliance rates will also be closely monitored. These advanced formulations are designed to meet diverse clinical needs, ensuring high performance while maintaining safety and ease of use for patients. Voyageur aims to set a new standard in barium contrast agents, offering both precision and reliability in diagnostic imaging. Willis explained that the proposed partnership is expected to accelerate Voyageur's development of vertically integrated production for its suite of contrast media products. The collaboration would also enable the company to expedite its entry into new segments of the contrast media market, positioning Voyageur for faster progress across its operations. The LOI serves as a precursor to a formal definitive agreement anticipated in the New Year. The agreement will define the full scope of the partnership, including the deal structure, project expectations, and timelines for achieving key milestones. Ben discusses his background in waterfowl hunting and the story behind the private land he has access to. The property was initially purchased by his grandfather and his friends in the early 1970s. Over the years, more land was acquired by Ben's father and uncle. The property features unique timber areas that attract ducks, and the family has put in levee systems to manage the water levels. Ben also talks about his passion for ammunition and the development of his own brand, Flight Day Ammunition. The conversation revolves around the management of a duck hunting property, specifically focusing on the use of pumps to control water levels and create optimal hunting conditions. The guest shares insights into the history of the property, including the initial development of ponds in the timber and the challenges that arose from this approach. They discuss the process of purchasing and installing a pump, as well as the timing and duration of pumping during the hunting season. The conversation also touches on off-season management tasks, such as habitat maintenance and crop planting. Ben discusses the load patterns and specifications of his ammunition. He emphasizes the importance of clean kills and the ability to shoot at longer ranges. Ben explains the use of full-length wads and the benefits they provide in terms of pattern and performance. He also discusses the differences between 20 gauge and 12 gauge shotguns and the recoil they produce. The conversation concludes with Ben sharing a memorable hunting experience with a young hunter. When the bismuth combines with the trace amounts of sulfur in your saliva and in your gastrointestinal tract, it reacts to form a black substance called bismuth sulfide.

This episode carries content warnings for civilian harm and death, torture, conscription, hallucination, uncanny visions, body horror, bodily transformation, kidnapping, and medical experimentation. Having disregarded their official mission in an effort to both help the Figure in Bismuth and spurn Gucci Garantine, the crew of the Blue Channel begin to explore the Dim Liturgy's primary monastery on the Isle of the Broken Key. Brnine and Phrygian corner one spy and develop suspicions about a possible second agent. Thisbe and the Figure in Bismuth search for a new source of power, and discover encounter someone they thought they'd seen the last of already. Cori meets an ancient architect and in the process is either drawn closer to or further from her god, depending on one's perspective… This week on PALISADE: Upon Our Grace Pt. 2 I hurt myself to see if I could feel / (magnificent) / Then I began to pray to see if god was real Dossier Organizations Violet Cove: The Dim Liturgy claim to have seen the Divine Devotion's arrival coming in their sacred text: A battered and corrupted backup of Crystal Palace's final predictions for the future. Now the two cults work together to oust the Bilats... and perhaps to do more intriguing things, as well. The Devotees: A church from the Twilight Mirage that is committed to the worship of the divine Devotion, which they sometimes refer to as Fervor. Common practices include the regular checking of one's pulse and multi-day group picnic outings. People Sea Crepuscule (he/him): Master of the Concave Wing of the Dim Liturgy's primary monastery, where he leads the search for specific details and predictions from the Glass Archive's remnants. Marlon Styx a.k.a. Em (he/him): Undercover BIS agent assigned to infiltrate Violet Cove. Has become enamored with the Dim Liturgy's holy text. Tenn Alpenglow (he/him): Bodyguard of Kenneth Marian Colver and Knight of the Fabreal Duchy. Resents his assignation to guard the cowardly Viceroy, but takes seriously his sworn oath to serve under the Duchy's new masters. Kenneth Marian Colver (he/him): Former member of the Curtain, now Kesh's Viceroy on the world. Reports up to the Stargrave. Bread concerns have been replaced with violence concerns. Grand Magnificent (he/him): A complex figure in the history of the Twilight Mirage. Member of the Notion, Excerpt of the Divine Arbit, and (above all else) an artist. Places Isle of the Broken Key: Home of the Dim Liturgy since its obscure creation thousands of years ago. Now serves as base for the entire Violet Cove unit of the Cause, including the Devotees and (most recently) additional support teams from the Twilight Mirage. Chimera's Lantern: The second moon of Palisade, shaped oddly like a wasp's nest or paper lantern. New arrivals to the world find its occasional glow unnatural and frightening. Objects The Kestral White: Flagship of Palisade's Viceroy, Kenneth Marrian Colver. Hovers like a hawk on a thermal updraft, searching for its prey. Gambeson: The Gambeson is only about 10 meters tall (less than half an Altar), but it is nevertheless a terrifying scourge of the battlefield. Modeled after an iron maiden, except with it's tortorous doors attached to its back serving as wings. Its head features a metalworked face, twisted into extreme and offputting smile. Its skeletal frame serves not only as body, but cage: pilots are criminal conscripts forced to pay off their “debt” to Kesh by the Divine Plight, earning their freedom through combat achievements. Divines Asepsis (it/its): The final living remnants of a Divine who pursues its particular vision of purity at the cost of everything else. Kept, studied, and utilized by Captain Kalvin Brnine. The Reflecting Pool, f.k.a the Divine Past, f.k.a. Crystal Palace (it/its): In the era before the founding of the Divine Principality, Crystal Palace served as the supreme oracle engine of the Rapid Evening and the Principality of Kesh. At the end of that era, it lost its ability to predict the future, but continued as a vast archive of the past, and became canonized as the Divine Past (which now serves as the Reflecting Pool, center of the Witch in Glass' kingdom). The final record of its predictions into the future are stored on Palisade, under protection (and study) of the Dim Liturgy and Violet Cove. This episode carries content warnings for blood, uncanny body horror, and unconsciousness. The Blue Channel's mission was delivered in simple terms: Prevent their target, codenamed Gem, from reaching her destination in the Fabreal Duchy's capital city. But as the mission has progressed, and as the group's commander receives increasingly troubling messages from Gucci Garantine, it's increasingly clear that the crew is being is missing information. What is the purpose of this attack? Who is their target, really? And from what concrete prison has she seemingly escaped from? This week on PALISADE: The Canvas of Dreams Pt. 4 [solari] Dossier Organizations Fabreal Duchy: When the Divine Principality left Palisade nearly 5,000 years ago, they left behind a Duke and his barons as caretakers. In the generations that followed, they ruled as petty tyrants, creating Delegates as their slaves, remaking their bodies into glass and oil, and extending their reach across Palisade's continents. Violet Cove: The Dim Liturgy claim to have seen the Divine Devotion's arrival coming in their sacred text: A battered and corrupted backup of Crystal Palace's final predictions for the future. Now the two cults work together to oust the Bilats... and perhaps to do more intriguing things, as well. People “Gem” (she/her): Codename given to the target of Operation Midnight Lapidary. The Lost Duchess, Constantina Malady (she/her): Just as it is said, she arrived on a black horse with white fetlocks. Ramondre (she/her) and Ignadiah (he/him): Swordbearers of Gentian, Elect of Crusade. Rivalrous and devout. Kalar Anakalar, the Giantkiller (he/him): This legendary member of Millennium Break is much more than his nom de guerre. Loyal comrade, proud father, and ever faithful believer. Former member of the Society for Banners and Bright Returns, one of the founding organizations of Millennium Break. Quintessence “Tessence” Rey (he/him): Joined Millennium Break when the group aided an Equiaxed commune in Vigil City, Partizan. Pilots a customized (but out of date) Kosmos unit for Jade Kill. Protege of Kalar Anakalar. The Witch in Glass (she/her): A former scion of Kesh who, after knitting a bond with the adversary Perennial, came into control of the broken body of the Divine Past, which she has renamed the Reflecting Pool. Rules over the Crown of Glass, a city-state on the southeastern reaches of Palisade. A shaky ally of Millennium Break and cruelly indifferent master of the Figure in Bismuth. Haunted by an old foe. August Righteousness (he/they): Once, August served as the court chef of Joyous Guard. Now, he is the commander of Reunion, a Delegate resistance movement that is part of the Cause's Jade Kill unit. Gucci Garantine (she/her): A defector from Stel Kesh, who used the remaining wealth and power of House Brightline to help found Millennium Break. Currently a key member of the resistance efforts on Palisade, partially responsible for the operation of Millennium Break forces there. Codename Watershed. General Tomorrow Mourning (she/her): Leader of the Qui'Err Coalition's forces en route to the Twilight Mirage. Marlon Styx a.k.a. “Em” (he/him): Undercover BIS agent assigned to infiltrate Violet Cove. Has become enamored with the Dim Liturgy's holy text. Jesset City (he/him): After helping to kick off Millennium Break on Partizan, Jesset served as one of its major leaders during its expansion across the Principality. Now, he uses his talents in Hollow and Altar engineering, piloting, and cipher breaking on behalf of the Grey Pond unit of the cause. Still considers himself to be a member of the Party of the Wolf, though those designations have largely fallen from use. Places Bontive Valley: Blessed by the departed divine Bounty, the Valley provides the Bilats with fruit that never rots and hyper-nutritional grain. Isle of the Broken Key: Home of the Dim Liturgy since its obscure creation thousands of years ago. Things BAC Billhook: Constantly in motion, the Billhook (designed by the Blessed Armory of the Divine Consecration) might be confused for a conceptual sculpture to the uninitiated. It is a humanoid design with five arms, two on the left and three on the right, though the right-central one always crosses its body to cover its “heart,” behind which the cockpit rests. Most of the Billhook is all made with a special material that can change at an atomic level, switching between an elusive, clothlike silk and dangerously sharp stained glass form. As such, the Billhook can be a loose flag on the wind or a terrifying whirlwind of violence. EF Vambrace: Created by House Evenfall Altarworks, the Vambrace is the unlikely workhorse of the Kesh Altar fleet. With four arms worth of melee weapons and a mounted missile launcher, the Vambrace is able to reach the enemy under self-provided cover fire, defend themselves in melee until an opportunity presents itself, and then deliver the final blow. AdArm Bouquet: Designed by Stel Orion's Adamant Arms and Artifice as an Altar-era update to the classic Troop design. It's still boxy (if a little trimmer) and it retains it's wide, rectangular “eye” on its head. Gone are the heavy grip claws, replaced with traditional, five-fingered hands, allowing it more complex manipulations, including the operations of its distinctive Roundless Rifle, which seems convert raw Perennial Wave into ammunition. Additionally, the shoulder mount has ditched the heavy cannon in exchange for a close range, pneumatic lance that can devastate even the strongest armor. Roundless rifle looks like an H&K G11, and fires condensed Perennial Wave gathered from the atmosphere itself. AdArm Motion Engine: Core to all of Adamant Arms and Artifice's new designs, the Motion Engine was derived from salvaged parts of the lost Divine of the same name, offering a reliable, long lasting, and flexible source of power. This episode carries content warnings for violence in a public place, uncanny body horror, blood, tight spaces, and discussion of claustrophobia. Gucci Garantine (she/her): A defector from Stel Kesh, who used the remaining wealth and power of House Brightline to help found Millennium Break. Currently a key member of the resistance efforts on Palisade, and the commander of Millennium Break forces there. Now serves as base for the entire Violet Cove unit of the Cause, including the Devotees and (most recently) additional support teams from the Twilight Mirage. Mysteries Refrain a.k.a. Yesterday's Reprise a.k.a. The Ghastly Chorus: An abandoned theater attended to by a spectral audience, which appears as if from nowhere, appended to the edge of a community. Upon the stage, a flickering projection of a person no one knows. Today, that person is the traveler named Lattice (they/them). Things EF Vambrace: Created by House Evenfall Altarworks, the Vambrace is the unlikely workhorse of the Kesh Altar fleet.
