Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis for the pilot of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World, and our listener feedback. This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the series premiere of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World. While it’s difficult to completely divorce ourselves from Huxley’s novel, we judge the show on its own merits as an independent entity that is “influenced by” the classic 1932 dystopian work. In our What We're Watching segment, Dave completes Simon Barry’s latest offering Warrior Nun, and even though he’s fairly satisfied with the current season of Marvel Agents of SHIELD, whether Fitz ever returns doesn’t matter to him any more. Caught a bit off guard by Norsemen’s third season, Wayne, nonetheless, is on board with the narrative paradigm shift. In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether the writers of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World will draw from previous attempts to bring Huxley’s novel to the small screen. Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis for the fifth episode of the Netflix fantasy series Ragnarok, and our listener feedback. This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the turmoil within the Jutul family as Vidar and Ran engage in a brief knife fight, but it’s the well designed clash between brother and sister that highlights the episode. Is Fjor’s affection for Gry true, and will she be collateral damage once the real battle begins? Perhaps just as important are the hints that Iman may be the seer described in the opening sequence. In our What We're Watching segment, Dave makes it to season four of The Last Kingdom and reminds listeners of the return of The 100 and Marvel Agents of SHIELD. Wayne provides a cautionary warning about the HBO series Run. His basic message? Run away as quickly as you can. In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders who, in fact, is in charge of the Jutul family. Divorce Team Radio - Your Source for Divorce and Family Law Matters
In this last show, Todd and Leh discussed some of the history and current law on Prenuptial Agreements. In this show, they examine some current and past celebrity prenuptial fights to learn from each one. They first look at the arguments made by actor Adrian Pasdar (General Talbot on Marvel Agents of Shield) in his divorce with Natalie Maines (former singer with the Dixie Chicks). Natalie and Adrian had entered into a prenuptial agreement when they married in 2000. Natalie filed for divorce in 2017, but Adrian is challenging the enforceability of the prenuptial agreement. Leh and Todd discuss the provisions of the actual prenuptial agreement and whether a Court would rule to enforce the agreement in Georgia. Listen in to find out whether Adrian's arguments hold water in Georgia and what the Court might consider when making its decision? Next, they examine what happened in other prenuptial agreements and summarize what you can learn from them if you are considering a prenuptial. Some of the agreements they look involve: Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Charlie Sheen and Brook Mueller Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving Elizabeth Taylor and Larry Fortensky Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren To read a transcript of this show and others, visit our website. The comic talk continues with the bears boys weighing in ODY-C #1, Matt Fraction, purple nipples, Wonder Woman, AXIS, Thor, Superior Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the original Secret Wars, Mike Zeck, Kraven's ass, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Robert Hack, Action Comics, Superman in the New 52, comic book sales and the back issue market.
