He's a Monster! In this explosive Tamaki Unfiltered episode, I expose harsh truths about Child Brides and more, and why Modi should never be allowed to step foot inside New Zealand. Trump walks into the G7 Summit and says “I'm the Boss” — and the room absolutely loses it.President Trump just gave the internet another unforgettable moment at the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, France. As world leaders gathered to discuss Ukraine, Iran, AI, economic growth, critical minerals, migration, and global security, Trump walked into the meeting with classic confidence and delivered the line everyone is talking about: “I'm the Boss.”The best part? The leaders laughed — because whether people love him or hate him, everyone knows Trump knows how to command a room.In this video, Professor Nez breaks down the viral G7 moment, why Trump's presence continues to dominate world politics, how global leaders reacted, and why this single sentence perfectly captures the Trump brand: confidence, humor, dominance, and total media control. We'll also look at the bigger picture from the G7 Summit, including the discussions surrounding Ukraine, the U.S.-Iran peace framework, AI safeguards, economic growth, critical minerals, and India's growing global presence under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Was Trump joking? Was he sending a message? Or was this just another classic Trump moment where one sentence takes over the entire news cycle?Drop your reaction in the comments: Was this hilarious, savage, or both?

It's Hump Day on The Majority Report On today's program: JD Vance talks to Megyn Kelly why the whole Memorandum of Understanding has not been released, citing certain cultural sensitivities in the region without explaining what that means. The war hawks are not happy with the leaked sections of the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. and Iran. Former Vice President Mike Pence says on CNN that the preliminary language "smacks of appeasement". Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends shares the same sentiment as Pence but he refuses to criticize the president, insisting to his audience that this is Vance's deal. Dylan Gyauch-Lewis, senior researcher at the Revolving Door Project, joins to talk about her piece in The American Prospect: "New Documents Detail Nine-Figure, Silicon Valley–Funded Abundance Movement." Gil Duran, publisher of the Nerd Reich newsletter, joins to discuss John O'Farrell a former partner at Andreessen Horowitz who recently quit the VC firm over their prioritizing of AI hype over the common good. You can preorder Gil's book "The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley's Fascism and the War on Democracy" here. In the Fun Half: As Trump's facilities sunset he is having a hard time keeping his inside thoughts inside. At the G7 conference in France, the president couldn't stop talking about world leaders in an erotic fashion. Trump swooned over India's PM Modi's stunning beauty and recounted the time he met Egyptian president el-Sisi in a hotel and fell deeply in love. Trump post another screed to Truth Social, announcing the cancelation of Jay Clayton's U.S Attorney nomination hearing today and the Bill Pulte will remain acting head of DNI. Trump's nominee to head the Office of Management and Budget, Hal Duncan, recites the script and refuses to admit that Joe Biden won the 2020 election but of course freely acknowledges that Trump won the 2024 election. The GOP primary winner for senate in Georgia, Mike Collins, kicks off his campaign by attacking incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff for voting in support of trans rights, much to the ambivalence of the small audience. DSA backed candidate for mayor of Washington D.C., Janeese Lewis George appears to be headed for victory in the democratic primary. On June 11, Trump threatened to have a federal takeover of D.C. is she wins and evidentially that was the best thing to happen to George's campaign. All that and more. This episode features a conversation with Prachi and Ram, organizers with Savera, a multiracial, interfaith, anti-caste coalition of Indian Americans and partners standing together in the fight against the rise of the transnational far right. After laying out Hindu supremacy as an ideology, we considered the different phases of consolidation of the Hindu right in the United States from its late 20th century orientation around homeland politics to its 21st century effort to forge a Hindu American identity, first through an alignment with U.S. civil rights organizations and then through a realignment with white supremacist forces. We delved more deeply into the role of caste within this formation, in particular the longstanding efforts of the Hindu right in both India and the U.S. to forge Hindu unity by opposing anticaste politics. This took us to a discussion of the Hindu right's embrace of the pro-Israel lobby's tactics, especially its weaponization of Hinduphobia as an echo of the weaponization of antisemitism, to battle criticisms of the Modi government in India, and the need to distinguish this from the real rise in both anti-Hindu and antisemitic sentiment. We ended with Savera's efforts to forge a broad-based antiracist, left majority as a counterweight to the multiracial far right. If a nationwide NRC is implemented, individuals who lack the required documentation to prove their citizenship could be excluded from the final registry. CAA/NRC: the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) are policies introduced by the Modi government. The 2019 CAA fast-tracks the naturalization of populations identified as victims of persecution by Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan and explicitly excludes the eligibility of Muslims. The 2019 NRC aims to create an official record of legal citizens of India. Critics and human rights organizations argue that the policies together discriminate against Muslims. If a nationwide NRC is implemented, individuals who lack the required documentation to prove their citizenship could be excluded from the final registry. Because the CAA allows non-Muslims to claim citizenship if they fall through the cracks, Muslims left off the NRC list would face disproportionate risks of statelessness, detention, or deportation. In this edition of The World According to Irina Tsukerman, the bi-weekly geopolitical series on The KAJ Masterclass LIVE, host Khudania Ajay (KAJ) examines a dramatic escalation in the Iran-US war with Irina Tsukerman, a US-based national security and human rights lawyer, renowned geopolitical analyst, and Editor-in-Chief of The Washington Outsider. Together, they explore Iran's ballistic missile and drone strikes on US-linked targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, the US retaliation on Qeshm Island, the resulting spike in oil prices, and the broader strategic implications—including Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodríguez arriving in New Delhi for talks with PM Modi, as India seeks to diversify energy supplies amid the Hormuz crisis.
India's relations with Europe are often viewed through the lens of Brussels, Paris, Berlin, or London. But in recent years, India has also been deepening its ties with another important set of partners: the Nordic countries. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Oslo for the third India-Nordic Summit, bringing together India and the five Nordic countries—Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark. The agenda for the six countries was wide-ranging, covering trade, investment, green technology, maritime cooperation, the Arctic, and the Indo-Pacific. The visit also marked the first official trip by an Indian prime minister to Norway in more than four decades. As a result of the summit, Norway and India have elevated their bilateral relationship with new agreements on climate, technology, science, and the blue economy. To discuss what all of this means for India, Norway, and the changing global order, Milan is joined this week by May-Elin Stener, who serves as Ambassador of Norway to India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives. Prior to taking up this position, Ambassador Stener was the Deputy Director General of the Regional department in the foreign ministry. She has served as Norway's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York as well as Deputy Head of the Norwegian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa. She has been a member of the Norwegian Foreign Service since 1995. Milan and Ambassador Stener discuss the outcomes of the India-Nordic summit, the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), and the green technology partnership Norway envisions with India. Plus, the two discussed linkages between the Arctic and the Indo-Pacific and the controversy over a Norwegian journalist's questioning of Indian officials in Oslo. What may look like a manageable drift in governance can often lead to precipitous falls in politics. In this episode of xMonks Drive, host Gaurav Arora sits down with Kaamya Karthikeyan — India's youngest female Everester, world record holder, and one of the most extraordinary young athletes in the world — for a rare long-form conversation about what it really takes to push past the limits of human endurance, again and again, from the time she was seven years old.Kaamya Karthikeyan became the youngest female in the world to complete the Seven Summits — climbing the highest mountain on every continent — at the age of 17. She has summited Mount Everest, Mount Vinson in Antarctica, Mount Denali in North America, Mount Aconcagua in South America, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mount Elbrus in Europe, and Mount Kosciuszko in Australia. She has also skied 111 kilometres to the Geographic South Pole as part of the Last Degree expedition, becoming the youngest Indian and one of the youngest women in the world to do so. She is currently 18 years old and studying engineering at Shiv Nadar University. She is also a competitive ski mountaineer who has represented India at the Asian Championships and the Youth World Cup, and won medals at the Khelo India Winter Games and the National Championships. Ski mountaineering recently became an Olympic sport at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. In this episode Kaamya talks about her Everest summit push — starting from Camp 4 in the middle of the night after 250 climbers had turned back, navigating whiteout conditions on the Lhotse Face, losing her expedition mitten at 8000 metres above sea level, and what her Sherpa did in that moment that she will never forget. She talks about skiing alone to the South Pole for 10 days with no landmarks, getting frostbite, being told by doctors to go home, and walking 8 hours with no guarantee she would be allowed to continue. She talks about the avalanche on Mount Trishul in Uttarakhand in 2021 that took the lives of six people she was close to, and how she processed that loss and went back to the mountains seven months later for the Denali expedition. She talks about the controversy around evacuation practices currently affecting the Himalayan climbing community and what it is doing to the relationship between climbers and the Sherpa community. This episode is essential viewing for anyone interested in mountaineering, Everest, high altitude climbing, the Seven Summits, the Explorers Grand Slam, polar expeditions, the South Pole, ski mountaineering, adventure sports in India, mental strength, resilience, overcoming fear, dealing with loss, and the human capacity to keep going when everything says stop.Kaamya Karthikeyan's story is one of the most remarkable sporting and human stories to come out of India in recent years. She started trekking at age 7 in Uttarakhand, summited her first 6000 metre peak at age 9 on Stok Kangri in Ladakh, trekked to Everest Base Camp at age 9, summited Kilimanjaro at age 10, Elbrus at age 11, Aconcagua at age 12 becoming the youngest girl in the world at the time, Denali at age 14, Everest at age 16 becoming the youngest Indian and one of the youngest women in the world to summit from the Nepal side, Vinson Massif in Antarctica at age 17 completing the Seven Summits, and skied to the South Pole at age 17. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about her on Mann Ki Baat when she was 12 years old. She has won the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. She has been supported by the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation and the Reliance Foundation. Only the North Pole expedition remains before she completes the full Explorers Grand Slam.
Narendra Modi, India's prime minister, is known for his outfits. Since rising to become India's head of government in 2014, photographers and journalists have long followed his clothing styles, each saying something about India. It's part of a long tradition of using clothing to make a statement about India—and about defining a political brand. Nor is it unique to India–remember Obama's tan suit, or now the MAGA red cap? That observation is part of Shefalee Vasudev's recent book Stories We Wear: Status, Spectacle and The Politics of Appearance (Westland Non-Fiction, 2025), where she dives into how clothing, appearance, politics and social change are intertwined, covering topics like streaming dramas, influencers, and “the airport look.” Shefalee Vasudev is a journalist, cultural commentator, and narrative psychotherapist. The editor-in-chief of The Voice of Fashion for the last nine years and the founding editor of Marie Claire India, she has spent three decades working across news and lifestyle media. Her first non-fiction work, Powder Room: The Untold Story of Indian Fashion, was published in 2012. SCHEDULE JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW, 5-21-2026.1943 USA INFORMATION WAR.Anatol Lieven discusses the resignation of Latvia's Prime Minister following air defense failures. Ukrainian drones targeting Russia have been transiting Baltic airspace, leading to Russian threats of retaliation. Lieven explores the risk of unintended escalation between NATO and Russia amidst suspicions of Baltic-Ukrainian cooperation regarding these drone flight paths. (1/16)Following meetings in Beijing, Vladimir Putin seeks to finalize a gas pipeline to China to offset lost European markets. Anatol Lieven notes that while trade in dual-use technology grows, China remains cautious about full military escalation. Russia's involvement in the Iran and Ukraine wars complicates its position, as it lacks spare weaponry for Iran. (2/16)Russia has resumed military cargo shipments to Syria for the first time since the al-Sharaa government took power. Ahmad Sharawi explains that President al-Sharaa is balancing relations with Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine to rebuild his military. Tensions remain regarding the integration of foreign jihadist groups, such as al-Qaeda affiliates, into the new Syrian army. (3/16)Mary Anastasia O'Grady reports that the U.S. has imposed sanctions on GAESA, a shadowy military-controlled conglomerate dominating 70% of Cuba's economy. The company manages retail, ports, and foreign currency, including billions allegedly gained through human trafficking of medical personnel. These financial restrictions aim to pressure the regime toward democratic transition and have already impacted foreign investors. (4/16)Evan Ellis reports that Bolivia faces nationwide protests and blockades over austerity measures and fuel shortages. President Rodrigo Paz attempts reconciliation, but former President Evo Morales is accused of destabilizing the government to avoid child trafficking prosecution. While La Paz faces resource shortages, the eastern lowlands remain calm, highlighting a deep regional and political divide. (5/16)Evan Ellis characterizes protests in Bolivia as an organized "coup in motion" funded by coca growers' unions. Figures like Evo Morales and rivals within the government benefit from dismantling reforms. The instability threatens counter-drug efforts and allows criminal organizations to flourish while the government struggles to maintain order amidst resource blockades. (6/16)Evan Ellis reports that the U.S. Justice Department has indicted 94-year-old Raul Castro for the 1996 murder of "Brothers to the Rescue" pilots. The indictment serves as leverage in transition negotiations. Meanwhile, Russia and China pledge support to Cuba, and the arrival of a U.S. aircraft carrier signals a potential shift toward selective military pressure. (7/16)Evan Ellis reports that Venezuela has surrendered Alex Saab, Nicolas Maduro's former bagman, to the U.S. for prosecution. Saab possesses critical information on illicit financial flows involving Iran, Cuba, and Colombia. Delcy Rodriguez's decision to extradite him suggests a complex internal power play to appease Washington while eliminating her own political rivals. (8/16)Peter Mauch explores the early life of Hideki Tojo, focusing on his failed 1945 suicide attempt and the military code prohibiting the disgrace of surrender. Born into a samurai-descended family, Tojo's ambitions were fueled by the perceived mistreatment of his father by a cronyist military system, leading him to excel academically. (9/16)Peter Mauch explains that during the 1930s, the Japanese army split into the "Imperial Way" and "Control" factions. The Imperial Way prioritized morale and the Emperor, while Tojo's Control faction advocated for "total war" preparation involving all state resources. This rivalry turned murderous, culminating in assassinations and coup attempts against the civilian government. (10/16)Peter Mauch explains that in 1937, the Marco Polo Bridge incident sparked conflict between Japan and China. While Tokyo sought de-escalation, the Kwantung Army, including Tojo, pushed for escalation and conquest. Chiang Kai-shek's refusal to surrender drew the Japanese military into a "quicksand" interior, creating an inescapable and draining quagmire for the army. (11/16)Peter Mauch explains that as War Minister, Tojo—nicknamed "The Razor"—instilled iron discipline within the fractious Japanese army to earn the Emperor's favor. He consolidated political power by centralizing military communication and cashiering insubordinate officers. Meanwhile, Japan eyed the defenseless Southeast Asian colonies of European powers, determined not to "miss the bus." (12/16)Veronique de Rugy argues that tariffs function as taxes paid by Americans, with costs passing to consumers at a 96% rate. Despite promises to revive manufacturing, employment in that sector has continued to decline. The policy is described as a "catastrophe" resulting in billions in unconstitutional levies that require federal refunds. (13/16)Sadanand Dhume reports that the BJP's landslide victory in West Bengal marks a significant defeat for longtime leader Mamata Banerjee. Her neglect of the economy and corruption allegations led to her ouster. This victory signals Narendra Modi's regained political strength, cracking opposition bastions and positioning India as a vital alternative in global supply chains. (14/16)Anatoly Zak reports that despite sanctions and corruption scandals, Russia successfully launched the Soyuz-5 rocket, a joint project with Kazakhstan designed to replace Ukrainian technology. While international commercial prospects have vanished, Russia is pivoting toward domestic military payloads. Development continues on the Angara family of rockets, though the program faces significant spacecraft production delays. (15/16)Anatoly Zak reports that Russia has successfully tested the Sarmat, a heavy liquid-propellant ICBM designed to target the United States. Capable of carrying up to 20 maneuverable warheads, it replaces the Ukrainian-built "Satan" missile. While technologically complex and using toxic propellants, it represents Russia's commitment to maintaining a formidable strategic nuclear deterrent. (16/16)Notes: corrected "Akmed Sharawari" → Ahmad Sharawi; "Alshara" → al-Sharaa (Syrian president). Flag if you prefer alternate transliterations.
