Life can leave us feeling like victims of our circumstances—overwhelmed by grief, hardship, or unfair struggles. In today's prayer and devotional, Scripture calls us to shift our perspective: instead of asking “Why me, God?” we can ask “How can You use this, Lord?” Keri Eichberger shares the inspiring story of her friend Mark, who battled cancer with unshakable faith. Even in his hardest days, Mark chose to see himself not as a victim but as a vessel of God’s glory. His testimony reminds us that God can redeem our suffering for good and use our pain to point others to His strength and hope. When we lean not on our own understanding but on the Lord, our hardships become platforms for His faithfulness. Today, ask yourself: Am I living as a vessel of God’s light, or am I letting my circumstances define me as a victim? Today's Bible Reading: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5 Key Takeaways God can use even the hardest circumstances to bless others and bring Him glory. Choosing to be a vessel shifts our mindset from despair to purpose. Trusting God with all our heart allows us to endure trials with peace and hope. Our legacy can inspire faith in those who watch how we live and suffer with trust in God. Let’s Pray Together Heavenly Father, You are the one I can hold tight to. Thank You that You use every valley, every hardship, and every tear for good. Help me choose to be a vessel of Your glory and not a victim of my circumstances. Fill me with Your peace and joy today, so that my story points others to Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Calls to Action Begin each day asking God to make you a vessel of His love and truth. What would you do if you lost your keys?...
Are you facing a situation that feels impossible to fix on your own? This devotional reminds us that God can do what we can’t do and invites us to fully trust Him in circumstances beyond our control. When we reach the limits of our own abilities, God’s power begins where ours ends. Drawing from Luke 18:27, we’re reminded that “what is impossible with man is possible with God.” Whether it’s a strained relationship, financial hardship, health struggle, or an unanswered prayer, God invites us to surrender our worries and rely on His strength, timing, and plan. ✨ Highlights God can do the impossible — Our limitations don’t limit Him. Faith grows in the waiting — Trusting God deepens when we surrender control. Prayer comes first — Instead of forcing solutions, bring your needs to God first. Surrender releases peace — Handing our impossible situations to God allows us to rest in His power. God’s strength shines through weakness — Our struggles become opportunities for Him to display His glory.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? In our daily prayer and devotional, we consider that too often, our view of ourselves is clouded by shame, insecurity, and the critical voice in our own heads. We imagine God sees us the same way — through the lens of our failures and flaws. But Scripture tells us something very different. Through Jesus Christ, we are chosen, loved, redeemed, and clothed in righteousness. God doesn’t see us through condemnation but through the finished work of the cross. He calls us His children, His holy people, and His treasured possession. Keneesha Saunders-Liddie reminds us that learning to see ourselves through God’s eyes is life-changing. Instead of walking in guilt or striving for worth, we can rest in the truth that His love is unconditional and His gaze never wavers. To God, you are not a mistake, a burden, or too far gone. You are His. Today's Bible Reading: 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9 Key Takeaways God sees you through Christ’s finished work on the cross, not through your failures. You are chosen, loved, and secure in Him. Seeing yourself through God’s eyes motivates a life of holiness and confidence. His love is steadfast, unconditional, and never based on performance. Let’s Pray Together Abba Father, thank You for seeing me not through condemnation but through the sacrifice of Your Son. Help me to walk in confidence as Your chosen child, knowing that I am forgiven, loved, and secure in You. Teach me to view myself through Your eyes, living a holy life that reflects Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Calls to Action Start your day by declaring aloud who God says you are (1 Peter 2:9). Replace negative self-talk with God’s truth from Scripture. “We are Christians. [Persecution] can happen any time.” As the pastor of an illegal house church in China, “Brother Enfu” knows the truth of that statement. Listen as he shares why and how he prepares his wife and children for the day he may eventually be arrested and sent to prison. He will give an update on Christian persecution in China and how believers there are responding faithfully despite increasing government pressure. Enfu will explain how a new law prohibits foreigners in China from talking about their faith—even in private settings. He'll also share how the CCP's persecution strategy has changed, charging pastors and other church leaders with “fraud” or other financial crimes rather than using overtly religious criminal charges. “Christianity is the narrow way, and the government is warning people about it,” Enfu says. Instead of large church events, the gospel is spreading through one-on-one conversations with co-workers or neighbors as Christians share what Jesus has done in their lives. Brother Enfu encourages pastors and church leaders he trains to stay in China and serve Christians there, rather than leaving China for a more comfortable position in the West. He says that when he hears of a brother or sister imprisoned for their faith, it's an encouragement to him, even as he acknowledges the suffering they are enduring. Pastor Wang Yi is one of those Chinese pastors who stayed in China and stood firm in his faith. He is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence. Pray Chinese believers will be faithful in their daily life and ministry and pray for government leaders, including President Xi Jinping, to find and follow Christ. Friends of the Rosary,Today, September 13, as we continue praying for Charlie and Erika Kirk and their two children, we honor a doctor of the early Church, St. John Chrysostom (347-407), and remember the fifth apparition of Our Lady in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.We also prepare ourselves for the feast of the exaltation of the Holy Cross, the glorious sign of our victory, tomorrow, Sunday. When we make the Sign of the Cross, we fix our minds and hearts on God, keeping us closer to God, and giving our entire self to God — mind, soul, heart, body, will, thoughts.During trials and temptations, our strength and protection is the Sign of the Cross. At Baptism, we are sealed with the Sign of the Cross, signifying the fullness of redemption and that we belong to Christ.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkMessage to Erika Kirk posted yesterday, after her emotional message, on behalf of the Rosary Network community:Dear Erika, you are a very courageous woman, a true witness of Christ Jesus. As summer fades, we’re reminded how fleeting seasons of beauty can feel. In our daily prayer and devotional, we ponder the last warm days, long evenings, and golden light as gifts to savor — yet as believers, our longing for light runs deeper than the sun’s rays. Scripture reminds us that before the sun ever rose, there was Light—the eternal Light of Christ. In today’s devotion and prayer, Lynette Kittle helps us reflect on the end of summer not just as a farewell to sunshine, but as a reminder of our identity as children of light. Just as we soak up summer’s glow, we are called to carry Christ’s light into a world often clouded by darkness. Summer’s end doesn’t mark the fading of joy, because our source of light and life is Jesus himself — the One who promises we will live forever in His radiant presence. Today's Bible Reading: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9 Key Takeaways Summer light points us to the true Light of the World: Jesus. God’s Word reminds us that before the sun was created, God’s light already existed. Believers are called to be “children of light,” carrying His presence into a dark world. Every season — including endings — can draw us closer to Christ, our eternal source of joy and hope. Let’s Pray Together Dear Father, help us to savor these final days of summer, treasuring the light that reminds us of Your Son. Thank You for making us children of light, free from the grip of darkness. Teach us to walk daily in Your presence and shine brightly so that others are drawn to the Light of the World. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Calls to Action As summer ends, take time to thank God for His blessings in this season. Ask Him to help you carry His light into the fall and beyond. The dark side of artificial intelligence is showing its ugly head a lot sooner than many people expected. From mental disorders to suicides AI is proving to be more dangerous than many of us are prepared to deal with. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we engaged in a conversation with an expert in this rapidly advancing tech field who offered a timely warning to us all about the secular transhumanism beliefs held by many of the creators of this technology, the dangers of emergent misalignment and why AI robs people of the divine spark of creativity that God put in us all. Prayer is one of the most challenging parts of the Christian life and also one of the most important. We turned to an accomplished bible teacher who took us to God’s word to teach us through scripture how to pray effectively. Our guest helped us understand the relational nature of this one-way communion with our creator. Using scripture, he showed us that even when it seems like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling and God is otherwise occupied, that He is not unresponsive and He is ALWAYS attentive to His children. Our guest also showed us how to a deeper sense of God’s ever-present goodness enable us to rest in His perfect timing when He appears to be silent. Our nation is at a point of crisis, and it seems as though we have slid so far down there is no way to get back up. But our guest a highly decorated military leader says that even though we are on a dangerous trajectory, it is not too late if we are willing to do the hard and real work to turn our nation around and back Judeo-Christian values it was founded upon. He outlined a direct strategy to help us reset the future of our nation for ourselves and the generations that follow, if we are willing to do the hard, honest work it requires. This week the nation and world were reminded of just how evil the days really are and in times like these anyone could be forgiven for wondering is God is really paying attention? Does He really care? The answer to that is a simple one, YES He is! In fact, nothing that is happening across the planet is, has or ever will catch the Sovereign of Creation off guard. Our guest encouraged us to go deeper into our understanding of the kindness of God and helped us to see His unchanging goodness as a living light in our cold and cruel world. It is time for another biblically grounded assessment of the headlines of the week through the unchanging lens of scripture as we discern truth from lies and bring clarity out of confusion.Become a Parshall Partner: http://moodyradio.org/donateto/inthemarket/partnersSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Paul reminds the church that all the fullness of God dwells in Christ, and they have been made complete through Him. He emphasizes that believers were once dead in sin but have been made alive with Christ, who forgave all sins and canceled the record of debt by nailing it to the cross. Paul warns against being judged by rules about food, festivals, or Sabbath days, as these are only shadows of the reality found in Jesus. He encourages the church not to let anyone disqualify them through false humility or worship of angels but to hold fast to Christ, the Head, from whom the whole body grows through God's power. Christ Himself contains all the treasures of wisdom and power, and we must walk in a relationship with Him. We must not be misled by arguments or traditions that sound wise but are not rooted in the truth of Jesus. Christ is the fullness of God, and because we belong to Him, we already have everything we need. We were once spiritually dead, but through His death and resurrection, we have been made alive and fully forgiven. The record of our sins has been erased, nailed to the cross. We must not follow man's rules or rituals to earn God's favor. Instead, we hold tightly to Christ, who gives us life and helps us grow as one body united in Him. Glorious Lord, Your Son is sufficient. He is strong enough, wise enough, and glorious enough to save and protect us eternally. Help us to faithfully walk with Him and serve Him daily with overflowing gratitude. Father, protect us from the deceptions of the world: human reasoning, traditions of men, and those who seek to be our rulers and judges. We will celebrate our freedom in Christ, having been raised up with Him through baptism, and now walking as forgiven, redeemed followers of our King. Guide us to make decisions based on the Head, not on anything or anyone else. Thought Questions: How do you stay connected to “Christ Himself” and avoid being affected by “persuasive arguments” that twist the word of God? What did Jesus do for you when you were “buried with Him in baptism”? Now alive in Him, does anyone else have the right to be your judge? Some religions teach restrictions not found in the Bible. Why is even conservatism not beneficial if it is not according to the teachings of Jesus?
