In this powerful coaching episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I sit down with wellness coach Laurie Moser for a conversation that goes way beyond just “how to talk about your business.” We explore the real, layered journey of turning your lived experience and passion into a message and offer that truly resonate—with your clients and with yourself.Laurie works with moms of teens navigating mental health challenges, and in this session, she bravely opens up about the struggle so many coaches face: knowing they're here to help people, but not feeling confident in how to communicate their value or what they're really offering.Over the course of our coaching, you'll hear her shift from uncertainty and vague language to clarity and conviction—not just in what she wants to say, but in who she is as a coach and business owner. Together, we unpack why “self-care” and “support” aren't enough to sell the transformation, and how to dig deeper into the outcomes her ideal clients are desperate for. This is your chance to be a fly on the wall for a real coaching conversation—where we talk through the inner doubts, the messy middle, and the actual strategy behind building a business that works. You'll get a front-row seat to what it's like to be coached by me—raw, supportive, honest, and full of heart—and walk away with takeaways you can apply to your own message and offer right now.In This Episode, You'll Learn:Why “helping” and “supporting” isn't the message—transformation isThe shift from talking about tools (like self-care) to speaking about specific, real-life outcomesHow Laurie moved from hesitation to clarity around what her coaching actually doesWhat it looks like to own your lived experience as a core part of your messagingThe power of starting with 1:1 coaching to build your confidence, voice, and processHow to create an offer that reflects your purpose and gets clients resultsWhat it feels like to break through the doubt and finally believe in what you're here to doThis episode is part marketing clarity, part emotional breakthrough, and part business-building inspiration. It's honest, vulnerable, and packed with insights that will help you step into your own message—and share it like you mean it.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

You might not even realize it, but this one sneaky thing called "fear" might actually be causing you to overcomplicate what you are doing in business. So often we put pressure on ourselves to do more, be more, work more, work harder, without asking what the intention is behind the actions we are taking. If the intention behind your action is fear, whether it be fear of judgement, fear of failure, fear of not having enough time, fear of not being worthy or good enough, then the actions we take will be from a place of fight or flight mode, which puts our nervous system into a frenzy and energetically shuts us off from creativity, new ideas, intuition, and inspiration for doing the things that actually move the needle. Jason, who is the former publisher of Automotive News, highlights how Toyota's Akio Toyoda's 100-year vision is a shining example of the kind of foresight and determination the industry needs to prepare for and face these oncoming challenges.Discussing the kind of authentic leadership the automotive industry needs, we hear wisdom from a range of top auto and business leaders, including former Campbell's CEO Doug Conant, HEVO CEO Jeremy McCool, “Godfather of EV” and former Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer, and Volkswagen North America's CSMO Andrew Savvas.Tune in to this very special 100th episode of the Automotive Leaders Podcast as Jan sits down with John and Jason to talk about the change the automotive industry is about to undergo. Airlines and hotel chains employ entire teams to determine what their pricing and booking settings should be to maximize revenue. But most short-term rental (STR) hosts don’t have access to the same kind of data, nor do we have the resources to hire world-class data scientists. So, what can we do make more from the properties we manage?Cofounders Andrew McConnel and Cliff Johnson are the CEO and CCO of Rented, the premier provider of full-service revenue management for professional vacation rental managers, best serving Airbnb hosts with a portfolio of 10 to 1,000 listings. The Rented team is also in the process of launching the first-of-its-kind revenue management software, sharing the technology they use as a standalone product for STR businesses that want to keep their revenue management discipline in-house.On this episode of Get Paid for Your Pad, Cliff and Andrew join me to discuss what differentiates revenue management strategy from pricing strategy, explaining why vacation rentals are more difficult to price than other commodities. They weigh in on how to set fees for your STR, offering insight on why they don’t recommend charging for extra guests and what you might do as an alternative. Listen in for Andrew and Cliff’s view on pricing with a dynamic algorithm versus a host who knows the market and learn how to maximize your STR revenue—with a little help from the team at Rented!Topics CoveredWhat differentiates revenue management strategy from pricingTakes ancillary factors into account (e.g.: # of reviews)Price = number, revenue management = disciplineHow Andrew and Cliff think about setting cleaning feesConsider demand for property and ownership structureInclude incremental costs but don’t try to recover fixed costsWhat hosts should think about as they set STR feesAre you making money? Is the homeowner earning enough to stay? Will the guest feel nickel and dimed? Why Cliff and Andrew don’t recommend charging for extra guestsCreates incentive for guests to liePotential benefit in terms of revenue sharing, email listWhat Andrew and Cliff suggest as an alternative to extra guest feesList smaller version of property (i.e.: 2BR option within 6BR)Make available in off-season or for midweek staysPricing with a dynamic algorithm vs. a host who knows the marketDepends on quality of data, competence of personCombine good data with revenue analyst for best resultsWhat listings are most difficult to automate pricingUnique properties in small markets (i.e.: Spanish castle)Algorithm shows seasonality but needs manual interventionConnect with Andrew & CliffRentedResourcesVacasaXplorieStayFiChess Champion Gary Kasparov vs. Deep BlueEscapiaSTR LegendsGet Paid for Your Pad: How to Maximize Profit from Your Airbnb Listing by Jasper Ribbers and Huzefa KapadiaGet Paid for Your Pad on YouTubeEmail jasper@getpaidforyourpad.com or support@strlegends.comSponsorHostfully See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
