We're re-running our favorite episodes from The Business of You archives. If you missed it the first time, or just want to listen again, check this one out! In Part 2 of my conversation with Jonathan Jackson, we dive deeper into his faith and passion for creative storytelling. If acting, music and writing were all about entertaining people, Jonathan would have left the industry behind a long time ago. Instead, he uses multiple creative channels to weave authentic stories of redemption, grace and humanity for others - through song, spoken and written word. While Jonathan still acts, he primarily builds his influence on the foundation of storytelling in every form it takes, with poetry and music taking center stage. Jonathan recently released a new book called The Harrowing of Hell: An Epic Poem exploring what happened between Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. To Jonathan, it is the story of the Hero of Heroes. He has also authored other books including a work of Mystical Poetry entitled “Book of Solace and Madness” and the non-fiction prose “The Mystery of Art”, which has been translated into multiple languages. His band Enation has performed alongside artists such as Echo & The Bunnymen, Sarah McLachlan, Echosmith, and more. Their newest album, Ultraviolet Empire, was released in the fall of 2020 and was co-produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Colin Linden. Jonathan Jackson is a five-time EMMY® Award-winning actor and Critics' Choice Award nominee who has starred in numerous TV and films, including ABC/CMT's hit drama “Nashville” (2012–2018), “General Hospital” (1993–1999, 2009–2011, 2015), “Tuck Everlasting” (2002), “The Deep End Of The Ocean” (1999), “Insomnia” (2002) and “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights” (2004). He also appeared in episodes of “One Tree Hill”, “Boy Meets World”, “The Twilight Zone” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Trust the timing Jonathan Jackson is a believer in divine timing. Rather than many business strategists who will tell you that there is a “right” or “wrong” time to put your work out into the world, Jonathan recommends that we as entrepreneurs turn inwards. Do you feel like the work is done - and is the world actually ready for it? Do the conditions feel right to you? Jonathan has multiple albums, several books and even some screenplays that await the right conditions. They are in various stays of completion, but they all have one thing in common - it's not the right time yet. In this episode, Jonathan serves us a welcome reminder that much of life and business is about timing. Don't be afraid to explore your interests If you're someone with varying interests, it can be easy to cave in to others' advice to just choose one focus. But Jonathan Jackson gives us his honest advice: Don't. In his young adulthood, Jonathan was an actor while he sought to learn songwriting, screenwriting and more. He never lost sight of his own passions and followed every thread as far as he could, creating new spaces for his own exploration. The results have been incredible. With his most recent book he released an original score of music and occasionally hosts live performances honoring the work. SImilarly, he believes that we can all weave our passions together when the timing is right. Rather than seeing our interests as boxes we have to fit into, he encourages us to stay open minded and see the broader picture. Your interests may seem disparate now, but how could they be woven together in new and innovative ways? Those are the questions worth asking in life. Soundbytes 4:53 - 5:26 “I look at art and poetry and storytelling as all one reality. To me Christ is the great storyteller. He is the eternal poet, the master of story. You can't get a greater story than the story of Christ. The beauty, tragedy and triumph.” 7:59 - 8:17 “I don't feel like every project has to be overtly religious in any way, shape or form to be beautiful. I just want it to have some kind of meaning. Some kind of honesty about the human condition.” Quotes “I had these deep experiences with Christ. To be, theology is beauty, and poetry. It's not about a religion, it's about life.” “When I'm looking at music, storytelling or films, I can't see the world outside of the beauty and challenging reality of Christ.” “Orthodoxy has helped me to see the whole world as a sacrament.” “When I was younger I was looking at it like acting was the central focus of my income. But I saw the writing on the wall a long time ago, that that was not going to be enough for my soul. Developing my writing and music was a way of engaging with the world in these other ways.” “There is a strange kind of tension between the flurry of inspiration, creating things, and waiting. We have four albums we've created and not released yet, because we're waiting for the right time. I have a handful of books that have been written and screenplays - we don't know what we're doing, really. There is intentionality and prayer and vision, but we're trying to be flexible.” “As a writer, I want to live in it for a while, go away from it and come back. Again and again. It's a testing thing, a maturation process with a particular work. My lived experience finally matches the intention of the work.” “I've learned over the years that the music and the story is about connecting with someone's soul and heart. That's the stuff I care about.” Links mentioned in this episode: Visit Jonathan Jackson's Website at https://www.jonathanjackson.com/ Find Jonathan on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/JonathanJacksonHQ/ Follow Jonathan on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/jonathanjacksonhq/ Subscribe to Jonathan Jackson's Youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4KKxEIbF5kAGOSi26Nx3Bg
We're re-running our favorite episodes from The Business of You archives. If you missed it the first time, or just want to listen again, check this one out! Jonathan Jackson was a child actor in the 1990's and early 2000's. But since then, he has become a powerful artist, musician and creator. Now on The Business of You, Jonathan is sharing his unique story - including his journey to faith, fame and personal growth. Jonathan Jackson is a multi-faceted artist who creates meaningful art pieces through music, film, and the written word. He is a five-time EMMY® Award-winning actor and Critics' Choice Award nominee who has starred in numerous TV and films, including ABC/CMT's hit drama “Nashville” (2012–2018), “General Hospital” (1993–1999, 2009–2011, 2015), “Tuck Everlasting” (2002), “The Deep End Of The Ocean” (1999), “Insomnia” (2002) and “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights” (2004). He also appeared in episodes of “One Tree Hill”, “Boy Meets World”, “The Twilight Zone” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” His indie band Enation has performed alongside artists across the musical spectrum, including post-punk legends Echo & The Bunnymen, the iconic Sarah McLachlan, Echosmith, and more. Their new album, Ultraviolet Empire, was released in the fall of 2020 and was co-produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Colin Linden. Jonathan is also a published Author. His current books include a work of Mystical Poetry entitled “Book of Solace and Madness” and the non-fiction prose “The Mystery of Art”, which has been translated into multiple languages. Jonathan resides in Ireland with his wife, Elisa, and their three children. He enjoys Greek coffee, good wine, and music. Navigating fame at an early age At just 11 years old, Jonathan left his idyllic childhood in Washington State to work as a child actor in California. Starring in “General Hospital”, he gained notoriety as a soap opera star and quickly began to book other roles. Working in television and movies, Jonathan had a workload that exceeded that of most grown adults. He knew that if he did not anchor himself in his relationship with God and his connections to his family, he would be swept away. With wisdom beyond his years, Jonathan turned to creative self-expression to set himself free. He collaborated with his brother Richard to compose original music, learn new instruments and write screenplays. Laughing, he explains that he had to begin writing because many of the ones he read were not very good. Rather than fall victim to the clutches of a dark industry, Jonathan used music and writing to guide himself towards the light. It became the foundation for his life's work. Creativity is a divine gift Self-expression became the basis on which Jonathan connected with others and with his higher power. Channeling his gifts into music and written words, Jonathan became a known artist and musician with his band, Enation. Since the band's inception in 2003, they have toured periodically and continued to produce new work. Jonathan is the band's frontman, writing most of the songs in addition to singing, playing guitar, and playing the piano. While navigating fame and building a career as a musician, Jonathan was also on another personal growth journey - his quest to deepen and explore his faith. For more of Jonathan's story, be sure to tune in next week for Part II of Jonathan's story here on The Business of You! Soundbytes 11:49 - 12:20 “Writing began very early on. Richard, my brother, is 3 years older than me. My brother and I started writing our first screenplay when he was 15 and I was 12. The inspiration was that some of the scripts we were reading weren't very good. We had this feeling early on - like, we can't just sit around and wait for good projects to come our way.” 12:29 - 12:57 “I started writing songs at 11 or 12, at the same time I started acting. It was a way of keeping me sane, and it was a therapeutic thing. At that age it's just a hobby. It turned into starting a band in our late teens!” 15:28 - 16:23 “One of the things acting gave me at a young age - and there's been a lot of studies about the brain and neuroplasticity - that can happen. When you put yourself in certain situations. People looked into it, the neuroplasticity of the brain changes for actors when you play other characters and perform things. It opened me up to the world. At a very young age I had to think and feel, asking so many questions about how others see the world - and what their fears and desires might be. Human psychology became part of my world at a young age.” Quotes “I'm more of an introvert, definitely. I'm fascinated by the introvert/extrovert dynamic. I'm not sure how much is nature versus nurture. I was extroverted as a child and became more introverted when I started acting. I do love people, communicating and connecting one on one.” “Too much attention, positive or negative, is kind of negative. It's going to kind of attack your ego and put you in a false reality. And if you have too much criticism and judgment, you're potentially in extremes when you have any kind of spotlight. Searching for an equilibrium was my main focus throughout my teenage years. How do I remain sane through all that?” “I glimpsed where my life could go if I wasn't careful. A massive wave could pick me up and destroy me, if I didn't position myself carefully. I thought, I need to anchor myself.” “My brother was my closest friend, growing up. I was grateful that we had each other to walk through the madness of LA and the industry together.” “I was slowly, slowly feeling like something central was missing in my experiences in Protestant churches. Wonderful people most of the time, good intentions. But something about the church itself, I just didn't understand it. There were so many versions. You start looking around and think, this is very confusing. The sense of something missing was not connected to Christ Himself, it was the vagueness of the church.” “The modern question is, what do I believe? It sounds like an important question. But the real question if you have any approximation to Christ is, what do Christians believe, and what have they always believed?” Links mentioned in this episode: Visit Jonathan Jackson's Website at https://www.jonathanjackson.com/ Find Jonathan on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/JonathanJacksonHQ/ Follow Jonathan on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/jonathanjacksonhq/ Subscribe to Jonathan Jackson's Youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4KKxEIbF5kAGOSi26Nx3Bg

KILL DEVIL HILL guitarist Mark Zavon and OCTOBER NOIR frontman Tom Noir join us on this week's edition of The Loaded Radio Podcast KILL DEVIL HILL is set to unveil its third album, "Seas Of Oblivion," on September 20th. This LP, meticulously crafted by engineer Chris Collier, who handled production, engineering, mixing, and mastering duties, seamlessly blends classic hard rock with elements of metal. The result is a musical journey that bridges the gap between contemporary and classic metal, reminiscent of iconic bands like SOUNDGARDEN and ALICE IN CHAINS. With "Seas Of Oblivion," KILL DEVIL HILL demonstrates its versatility, fearlessly experimenting with various styles, and pushing the boundaries of expectations to deliver a fresh and exhilarating experience for their devoted fans. Prior to the album's release, KILL DEVIL HILL has already treated fans to a taste of what's to come with the launch of four singles: "Playing With Fire," "Blood In The Water," "You Can't Kill Me California," and "Before The Devil Knows." Formed in 2011 by legendary drummer Vinny Appice (formerly of BLACK SABBATH and DIO) and bassist Rex Brown (PANTERA), KILL DEVIL HILL has undergone a couple of lineup changes, yet continues with a pummeling vengeance. The band's current roster includes Johnny Kelly (formerly of TYPE O NEGATIVE) on drums, Zavon on guitar, Dewey Bragg on vocals, and Matt Snell (formerly of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH) on bass. In the podcast, Mark discusses the evolution of KILL DEVIL HILL, the band's new additions, his love for Wolfgang Van Halen and much more. Hailing from Pensacola, Florida, OCTOBER NOIR emerged onto the music scene in 2016 as a gothic/doom metal ensemble. Since their inception, they have crafted and shared their unique sonic vision through three full-length albums and an impressive collection of nine stand-alone singles. The brainchild of Tom Noir, OCTOBER NOIR was conceived in late 2016, and their inaugural album, "The Haunting and the Powerful," saw the light of day on October 19, 2017. Following the album's release, Tom Noir welcomed talented musicians into the fold for their live performances. Drummer Daniel "Stickz" Bryant, guitarist Troy Lambert, and keyboardist Jackie "Jaxxx" Daniel added depth and energy to the band's live shows. In 2018, OCTOBER NOIR expanded their repertoire by releasing two remarkable singles, both of which were captivating covers. "Pictures of Matchstick Men (RIPeter)," a reinterpretation of the classic by STATUS QUO and TYPE O NEGATIVE, graced listeners' ears on April 14, 2018. Subsequently, on July 5, 2018, they offered their rendition of "Lips like Sugar," originally by ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN, showcasing their versatility and creative prowess. In the second portion of the podcast, Tom discusses the band's influence, the new album "Letters To Existence", his use of torture devices and more. Dirige Manuel Pinazo

The La's y su (único) gran single “There She Goes”. Lloyd Cole & The Commotions, “Jennifer She said”. The Stone Roses, “She Bangs The Drums”. The Smiths, “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Other”. The Woodentops, “Good Thing”. Everything But The Girl, "When All's Well”. The Housemartins, “Bow Down”. Modern English, "I Melt with You”. The Essence, “Only For You”. The Cure, “Lovesong”. The Psychedelic Furs, “Heaven”. Peter Murphy, “Cuts You Up”. The Chameleons, “Tears”. The House Of Love, "I Don't Know Why I Love You”. The Mighty Lemon Drop, "Inside Out (12'' Version)". El dúo Wild Child publica End of the world, su disco de íntimo y expansivo folk.
TRACKLIST: 01 - The Woodentops - Give It Time (Adrian Sherwood Mix) 02 - Simple Minds - Someone Somewhere In Summertime (Extended) 03 - The Mission - Tower of Strength (Bombay Mix Edit) 04 - The Waterboys - The Whole of the Moon 05 - Fiction Factory - (Feels Like) Heaven (12inch Version) 06 - Gene Loves Jezebel - The Motion of Love (Jezebel Mix) 07 - Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter (New Extended Version) 08 - The Bolshoi - A Way (Un-Edited Version - Live Length) 09 - The Psychedelic Furs - Heartbreak Beat (Extended Mix) 10 - U2 - The Unforgettable Fire 11 - The Cure - Lovesong (Extended Mix) 12 - Peter Murphy - Indigo Eyes (Single Edit) 13 - Echo & The Bunnymen - The Game
TRACKLIST: 01 - Siouxsie and the Banshees - Cities in Dust (12'' Eruption Mix) 02 - The Cult - (Here Comes The) Rain 03 - Echo & The Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar (Maxi Mix) 04 - Gene Loves Jezebel - Desire (12" Remix) 05 - The Bolshoi - Please (12' Single Mix) 06 - The Sisters Of Mercy - Lucretia My Reflection (Extended Remix) 07 - The Psychedelic Furs - Pretty In Pink (Berlin Mix) 08 - The Lords Of The New Church - Dance With Me 09 - Peter Murphy - All Night Long (Single Edit) 10 - The Mission - Wasteland (Anniversary Mix) 11 - Iggy Pop - Cry For Love (Extended Dance Version) 12 - U2 - Two Hearts Beat as One (Club Version) 13 - The Cure - A Forest
TRACKLIST: 01 - Siouxsie and The Banshees - Dear Prudence 02 - Joy Division - Atmosphere 03 - Cocteau Twins - Pearly-Drewdrops' Drops 04 - The Cure - Charlotte Sometimes 05 - Bauhaus - She's In Parties (Single Edit) 06 - The House Of Love - Christine 07 - Peter Murphy - Final Solution (Club Mix) 08 - The Sisters Of Mercy - Dominion 09 - Bauhaus - Kick In The Eye (Single Remix) 10 - Killing Joke - Love Like Blood 11 - Siouxsie and The Banshees - Dazzle 12 - Joy Division - Transmission 13 - The Cure - A Forest (7' Version) 14 - The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary (Long Version) 15 - Alien Sex Fiend - The Impossible Mission (Mix 2) 16 - The Sisters Of Mercy - This Corrosion

We continue our two-part look at Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets with two guys from the band. One guy is Guy Pratt. For Liverpool UK band Echo & The Bunnymen's fourth release, 1984's 'Ocean Rain', they went all-in. Recorded primarily in Paris with a 35-piece orchestra, Ocean Rain is a dazzling collection of songs writ large with sweeping string arrangements and inspired - at times restrained and at times ferocious - playing /singing by band members Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant, Les Pattinson and Pete de Freitas. This week's guest Corey duBrowa went all-in as well, as he joined Rob to unpack this splendidly deranged musical masterpiece. Songs featured in this episode: The Killing Moon - CHVRCHES/Pavement/Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs; Oregon Ducks Fight Song; Guiding Light - Television; Here I Go - Syd Barrett; Read It In Books - Echo & The Bunnymen (John Peel Session, August 1979); Some Other Guy - The Beatles (Live at the Cavern Club, August 1962); The Back Of Love (Live at Royal Albert Hall, 1984), Never Stop, Silver, Nocturnal Me, Crystal Days, The Yo Yo Man - Echo & The Bunnymen; Is She Weird? - Pixies; New Slang - The Shins; Waiting For The Sun - The Doors; Thorn Of Crowns, Thorn Of Crowns (Live at Royal Albert Hall, 2008) - Echo & The Bunnymen; BAD - U2 (Live Aid 1985); The Killing Moon - Echo & The Bunnymen; Space Oddity - David Bowie; Seven Seas - Echo & The Bunnymen; Andmoreagain - Love; My Kingdom, Ocean Rain, It's All Over Now Baby Blue - Echo & The Bunnymen;
Arrancamos con Everything But The Girl y su “When All's Well”, puro Indie Pop ochentero buenrollero, lo mismo ocurre con la siguiente “So Good Today” de los londinenses “The Woodentops”. TRACKLIST: 01 - Everything But The Girl - When All's Well 02 - The Woodentops - So Good Today 03 - The Housemartins - Me And The Farmer 04 - The Smiths - Ask 05 - The Go Betweens - Right Here 06 - Lloyd Cole And The Commotions - Lost Weekend 07 - Fairground Attraction - Perfect 08 - The La's - There She Goes 09 - The Cure - Just Like Heaven 10 - The The - This Is the Day 11 - The Adventures - Send My Heart (Across The Sea Mix) 12 - Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart (12" Remix) 13 - Simple Minds - Sanctify Yourself (Extended Mix) 14 - Echo & The Bunnymen - The Game 15 - Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Secret (Extended Mix) 16 - Erasure - Sometimes 17 - New Order - True Faith

En el caso de The Church su gran éxito Under The Milky Way (1988). TRACKLIST: 01 - The Adventures - Broken Land 02 - Simple Minds - Soul Crying Out 03 - Talk Talk - Give It Up 04 - The Woodentops - Give it Time 05 - Everything But The Girl - Driving 06 - The Blue Nile - The Downtown Lights 07 - The Dream Academy - Life in a Northern Town (Extended Version) 08 - Deacon Blue - Dignity 09 - Morrissey - Everyday is Like Sunday 10 - Echo & The Bunnymen - Bring On The Danging Horses 11 - Peter Murphy - Indigo Eyes (Single Edit) 12 - The Church - Under The Milky Way 13 - The Smiths - There is a Light That Never Goes Out 14 - Prefab Sprout - When Love Breaks Down 15 - The Stranglers - Always The Sun (Hot Mix) 16 - Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels (Radio Version)

TRACKLIST: 01 - The Mission - Tower Of Strength 02 - The Cure - Lullaby (Extended Mix) 03 - The Smiths - How Soon Is Now? 04 - Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon 05 - The Waterboys - This Is the Sea 06 - The Bolshoi - Away 07 - The Jesus and Mary Chain - April Skies 08 - Gene Loves Jezebel - Suspicion (Jezebel Mix) 09 - Peter Murphy - All Night Long (USA Edit) 10 - Flesh For Lulu - Postcards From Paradise 11 - The Chameleons - Up The Down Escalator 12 - New Model Army - Vagabonds 13 - The Smiths - Hand in Glove 14 - 1000 Mexicans - Under Construction (Thumping Great Dance Mix) 15 - The The - Uncertain Smile
Due to Steve and Drew being on assignment in parts unknown, they pulled together a mixtape of 80s new wave, but extended versions of songs you probably know. These artists are included in the show: Book Of Love, Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder, The Damned, Blancmange, The Pale Fountains, Tin Tin, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Danse Society, Lonely Boys, Simple Minds. :) TRACKLIST: 01 - Mr. Mister - Kyrie 02 - Cock Robin - When Your Heart Is Weak 03 - Icehouse - Electric Blue 04 - 1927 - That's When I Think Of You 05 - Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died In Your Arms 06 - Eurythmics - Thorn in My Side 07 - Roxette - Dangerous 08 - Simple Minds - Sanctify Yourself 09 - Echo & The Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar 10 - The Outfield - Your Love 11 - The Cars - Hello Again 12 - Deacon Blue - Real Gone Kid 13 - Go West - We Close Our Eyes 14 - Prefab Sprout - Cars and Girls 15 - INXS - Original Sin 16 - The Bangles - In Your Room 17 - Flash & The Pan - Ayla (Disco Mix)
Así nos encontramos con The Smiths, Echo & The Bunnymen, Everyhing But The Girl, R.E.M., Psychedelic Furs y un largo etc. Our guest this episode is drummer Chris Lacinak. Chris has drummed with some legendary people like Gatemouth Brown, Papa Mali, Tab Benoit, & Adam Peters of Echo & The Bunnymen and Family of God to name a few. But his love of New Orleans jazz and second line drumming drove him to form his band Junko Beat with Vernon Rome and Will Snowden.This episode was an education for me in a genre of music that I was not at all familiar with, but am now deeply intrigued by. Chris tells some great stories of touring with Gatemouth, moving all over the country and playing sessions. There's also some great New Orleans jazz history in here. So there's something for everybody. Check out Junko Beat's new album Satirifunk on streaming services or their website, junkobeat.com. Subscribe, rate, & review the show. Bedbugs and Ballyhoo. The Zero Sum Game Against the Deep State. Will they destroy Trump, or will Trump finally bring them to justice? There will be Winners and Losers and nothing in between. A dangerous time for America. Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright describes "the cliff's edge" we're navigating courtesy of the corrupt plotters of "a coup." Time to disband the CIA and FBI? Too much power in the hands of untrustworthy people? Enough with the DNI wet blanket on Declassification. But what will these dangerous people do when America finally gets to stare into the sun? We study the extreme "eliminationist rhetoric" of Never Trump MSM freaks Jennifer Rubin and Bret Stephens. Hell-bent on punishing their perceived MAGA enemies. Driving the nation to Civil War? Why did thin-skinned Stephens quit twitter after being called a "bedbug"? Meanwhile, former Acting AG Andrew Whitaker outlines the likelihood of an FBI McCabe indictment. Joe diGenova expects President Obama to be interviewed by DOJ John Durham over SpyGate. Going to the top. For his part, in the aftermath of the IG Horowitz Comey Report, President Trump says he has "total confidence in Bill Barr to do the right thing" and that the declination shows "how fair he is." Our Conversation with Michael Anton, former advisor to President Trump and author of the excellent new book After The Flight 93 Election: The Vote that Saved America and What We Still Have to Lose. Anton discusses his tenure in the Trump White House and outlines the high stakes for 2020. Noting the "fraud" of the two-year Mueller Investigation and the Team Obama "frame operation on Donald Trump," Anton urges ardent pursuit of accountability for felonious government operatives. If they get away with it, we've "crossed a dangerous threshold" from which there's no return. Is the conservative movement ready to go on offense? [Anton Interview ranges from 15:00 to 41:00 in this hour's Podcast.] Meanwhile, Host Dunn carries on with a monologue on the increasingly impressive "character" of President Trump. How remarkable that Trump has had the fortitude to withstand the ferocity of the Beltway Establishment, and even find a way to thrive against the odds. Disciplined Trump has waited out the unjust Mueller provocations, the whole Deep State scam attacking his own children. And now that AG Barr has showed up -- it is Trump's Turn. Get Ready. We describe Team Mueller's failed strategy to convert their nothing-burger into an actual something, and how the savvy Trump never took their bait. Also, we outline our predictions for spinnable "negative kernels" in the full Mueller Report, and the empty MSM bonanza that will ensue. Plus, amusing audio from Robert Smith's encounter with a giddy reporter upon his band The Cure's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
