Jeremiah had to grow up into that which God placed inside of him – David, Moses, Paul.  You and I house the prophetic word and power of God: that He has spoken over us; that which He has ordained us to be. John 1:12 - To all who receive Him, Christ gives the power … (to slip out of who we've been forced into being – so that we can TRANSFORM into the individuals we were created to be.) To be TRANSFORMED, is to be CHANGED.  In fact, repentance also means “to change”.  Change is a gift from God.  Don't ever assume that real change occurs without any struggle, prayer and effort. A.W. Tozer said the following: I believe we should profit immensely were we to declare a period of silence and self-examination during which each one of us searched his own heart and sought to meet every condition for a real baptism of power from on high.”   Romans 12:2 (Amp) - Do not be conformed to this world (this age*), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God… *World age – Eion greek) Sadly, many individuals in the body of Christ are persevering [volhard] without progressing [vordering].  You can sit through hundreds of inspirational services and never change.   Ephesians 4:23 (Amp) - And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], The Holy Spirit knows how to renew the mind. The result of “Transformation” comes through the birth canal of our: obedience, commitment, seeking His face, reading His word spending time in prayer As Paul said it to the Philippians church: Philippians 3:10 (Amp) - [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]   My Prayer is that the next few months will be a time of magnificent Transformation in our lives By Allowing that which God has placed within you to come out and change our world Jesus saved us to affect.

Philanthropist and businessman Sir Eion Edgar is being remembered for his selfless generosity, and his wicked bowling arm. Sir Eion died yesterday afternoon from cancer at the age of 76 in his Queenstown home. The many organisations he gave to are remembering the man who made connections wherever he went. Sir Eion Edgar, a Queenstown-based investor, businessman, philanthropist, husband and father, has died aged 76.He had been fighting pancreatic cancer since late last year.Sir Eion made a big difference in New Zealand as a philanthropist in sport, education, youth, arts, sports and health.He was the chairman of numerous charitable trusts and organisations, including the Edgar Olympic Foundation, New Zealand Dementia Prevention Trust, and Winter Games NZ Charitable Trust.He was also an official patron of Diabetes New Zealand, the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame and the New Zealand Football Foundation.Sir Eion was a dearly loved husband, father, father in law, grandfather and friend to many, his family said in a statement."Eion had a positive impact on the lives of many New Zealanders across the vastly diverse causes, projects and businesses he supported so passionately. He was a leader in philanthropy in New Zealand and brought others along with him to amplify his impact and help make New Zealand a better place. He leaves behind an enormous legacy."Eion will be greatly missed by all and we ask for privacy and respect for his family and friends at this very sad time."Sir Eion helped in the creation of the University of Otago's Edgar Diabetes and Obesity Research Centre, and in the creation of the southern hemisphere's largest single-building indoor sports arena, Dunedin's Edgar Centre.He was the chancellor of the University of Otago between 1999 and 2003, and was awarded Honorary Doctorate of Laws for outstanding service.Sir Eion spent 20 years as the chairman of Forsyth Barr Group in Dunedin, until his retirement in 2018.His friend of 36 years, Queenstown Lakes Mayor Jim Boult, confirmed that Sir Eion had died about noon today.In an emotional tribute, he called Sir Eion "a good Kiwi man"."He's been an absolute gift to our district, and the whole of New Zealand," he said."I'm devastated."He's just been one of those people, whenever there's a been a cause Eion's been there to support it."He was generous not only with his own money, but also in convincing others to support causes, Boult said."He will be enormously missed."Forsyth Barr issued a statement saying it was "deeply saddened" at the death of a former chairman, colleague, mentor and friend."Eion always wanted the best for the firm and encouraged everyone to take the opportunities and enjoy what we do. He famously invested in a potato business called Mr Chips which he sold for a handsome profit (Sir Eion and family are on the NBR Rich List) in 2008. Currently he is chairing Hawaiki Submarine Cable as well as investing through his family business the Sinclair Investment Group. But most in Otago (an area I lived in for many years) know him for his philanthropy. He is the chair of the NZ Dementia Prevention Trust, patron of Diabetes NZ, NZ Football Foundation, NZ Sports Hall of Fame, Queenstown Trails Trust and ShelterBox NZ. He was the driving force behind the building of the Dunedin Indoor stadium and so many other local charitable causes. But I know him best for his service to NZ Snow Sports. Not only does he support snow sports athletes through his foundation but he essentially bought a version of the winter olympics (he is a past NZOC President) to New Zealand through the Winter Games NZ. It's here where I saw him in action, the diplomat, the businessman, athlete's biggest fan and sports fanatic—if there is ever a role model for aspiring business people it is Sir Eion. With the season now entering its first international break, the boys decided to do a big good/bad episode dedicated to the season so far. We learned Bournemouth are nice, Dean REALLY loves Callum Wilson, Bob is made of pipe cleaners and Eion really does say some terrible things.

Another drama filled weekend sees the guys have plenty to tee off on and it appears West Ham and Manchester United are the main targets. Eion nearly triggers Dean once more, Bob defends Manchester trams and the guys try to decipher where Chippenham is. This seriously is a football podcast...

The opening weekend of the Premier League has really changed the boys. Well, we mean Dean really. This week he pulls off an art reference; loses the concept of a greeting and has a barney with Eion over Jamie Vardy. Plus Cardiff take a pounding as do the boys' predictions.

The transfer window has been kind to the P45 boys approaching deadline day: Eion's released a wisdom tooth but Bob's picked up two temperamental youngsters and Dean has got a hell of a freebie mic. They're previewing the Premier League season bringing glory to City and doom to pretty much anyone below Liverpool. Plus, Bob's cat has his say on Brighton's chances this season.

With the World Cup now over, Eion and Dean are left to hold the fort after Bob goes down with a mysterious 'internet injury', No matter as the two of them play Football Manager and talk Rangers TV commentators, Domagoj Vida being crap, Manchester United's transfers and... erm... Sasha Baron Cohen? Plus, how many times can you hear the seagulls in the background?

Our guest today is Eoin Finn. Eoin Finn is a yogi, surfer and blissologist from Vancouver, BC. A philosophy graduate, he has been deepening his understanding of Meditation, Yoga and Eastern Philosophy since 1989. In the mid-nineties he moved to Maui and learned Ashtanga and Power Yoga and later Vinjana Yoga. He’s been teaching yoga for 18 years. Eoin is a karma yogi with a deep passion for the oceans, and a connection and reverence for nature, that is truly inspiring. His yoga teacher trainings generally include a lot of education about the environment, as well as hands on projects to help clean and protect it. His Ecokarma program is replacing endangered coral in Key Largo Florida and beyond. Eion says “Karma is the offering of unselfish service – our offering to the world. I want us to connect our love for ecology with both the physical yoga practice and selfless service of Karma yoga.  “ I caught up with Eion at the Bali Spirit Festival and we dropped in about the state of the oceans, the effects of overfishing and carbon on the oceans, and what it means to be a karma yogi. He shares his love for nature, explains his main goal in life and guides us on his path of Blissology. If you go back to my first episode and listen to the “7 steps of activating your highest potential” show , you’ll see that Eion really speaks to one of my points, which is seva, or being in service, sometimes known as karma yoga. I’m really impressed with Eion’s dedication to educating and inspiring people to pay attention to what’ happening to the oceans, and empowering them to find their own inner power and voice to be the change we want to see in the world.
