Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHIt's the night before and an elf band is out in the snow and they beginning playing an absolute banger of a song and that's when Dan found out this movie was a musical. Santa begins to sing a song all about preparing for Christmas. It's showtime baby! There is one letter that got left behind, so these elves run to try to get it to Santa before he takes off. One of the reindeer, Robin, gets sick and has to stay home. The elves come running out just in time and Santa opens up the letter. It is from a little girl, The Princesss of Hearts, in Wonderland who is hoping Santa will finally visit them this year. He decides that they're going to visit Wonderland first. The reindeer aren't having it. They've read the book. Wonderland is mad! Santa reminds them that he's Santa and everyone deserves a gift! Robin realizes that Santa left the reindeer SOS button behind, so they fly off.We head to Wonderland and we find out that some of the folks in Wonderland secretly celebrate Christmas but hide it from the Queen because she's outlawed Christmas. She heads off to sleep just as Santa lands on the roof. Her cat hears some commotion on the roof and won't stand for it. So they go invisible mode, sneaks downstairs and knocks over a lamp to wake the Queen up. She comes downstairs and finds Santa and she says OFF WITH HIS HEAD! He runs off and she fall out the window. Santa tries to find the princess but ends up opening a door which causes him to fall through the door and into a maze. It's mad out there! He discovers a girl named Alice who is also there and she's a giant - she's been eating the apple shrooms. Luckily, she's given a potion which shrinks her back to regular size. They go to enjoy some tea and treats with the Mad Hatter. But the Queen isn't too far behind. We find out that the Queen tried to send a letter to Santa when she was a kid, but the White Rabbit goofed on getting it to the mailbox in one piece. Since Santa never came to Wonderland, she began to hate Christmas. she catches up with Santa and he is put on trial. It's in the trial that the Queen finds out that St. Nick has only just now discovered her letter. Via song, we find out all she really wanted was a bandersnatch. She gives it some thought and decides to give St. Nick one last chance to give her the bandersnatch she's always wanted. But Santa and the gang took some of the shrinking juice to escape from jail. When Queen gets to the jail, she finds it empty and gets real sad. She tracks Santa down and he gives her the gift and it's coal. He explains that's what happens to a gift if you haven't been nice. The only way to get the gift is to be kind. So she decides to let Alice go but keep Santa in jail until the gift turns back. Alice helps the Queen learn how to be kind again. She finds Santa and tells him to give the gift to someone who deserves it and they all enjoy tea together.

On this week's episode of Artist Friendly, Joel Madden is joined by Brandon Lake. Though Lake learned to play guitar from his father when he was younger, he didn't put out his first album, Closer, until 2016 — gathering the financing through crowdfunding and releasing it independently. Since then, the worship music singer has gone on to make several other records, racking up several Grammy wins along the way, and will share his latest, King of Hearts, this Friday (June 13). In a conversation with Madden, Lake opens up about balancing fame and family, using music to share his relationship with faith, and his upcoming album. Hearts can still break, looks can still fade, and money still matters, even in eternity. Some announcements carry more weight than others, and this one comes straight from the heart. Peace Love Moto is now officially sponsoring two remarkable Northern Colorado nonprofits that embody the spirit of joy, healing, and community connection. The Carousel of Happiness in Nederland stands as a testament to resilience and wonder. My friend Scott Harrison, a Vietnam veteran who found solace in a tiny music box during combat, dedicated 26 years to hand-carving 56 magnificent animals. These creatures now bring joy to visitors from around the world as they ride the restored 1910 carousel to the melodies of a century-old Wurlitzer band organ. It's a place where joy isn't just an emotion – it's a tangible presence, carefully crafted and freely shared.Just minutes from my home, Hearts and Horses offers another kind of healing magic. This therapeutic riding center serves children with disabilities, veterans battling PTSD, and individuals with dementia through equine-assisted therapy. With approximately 30 horses and a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, they create safe spaces where physical and emotional healing blossoms through the unique bond between humans and horses. These initiatives have awakened something profound in me – a calling to create more meaningful connections with you, my listeners. While I may record this podcast from my son's former bedroom in Loveland, the feedback I receive suggests many of you crave authentic experiences: riding Colorado's back roads, witnessing nature's magnificence, and meeting extraordinary people making a difference in our world. I'm actively exploring ways we might connect beyond these audio episodes – perhaps through shared motorcycle journeys where together we can seek that elusive peace of mind we all desire. The path forward isn't entirely clear yet, but the destination feels right – finding joy, purpose, and connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Stay tuned as this vision takes shape.Support the show

Biblical Truth for Little Hearts: Dr. Kevin JonesDr. Kevin Jones knows that time is a gift — and he's not about to waste a minute of it.From his early years teaching Sunday school to now leading the School of Education and Social Work at Cedarville University, Dr. Jones has always seen education as a mission field. With conviction, he knows that “Man cannot live on bread alone, but on every word of the Scripture.” (Matthew 4:4)That belief is the heartbeat behind everything he does.Recently, Dr. Jones poured his heart into the Armor of God Bible, a children's Bible published by Thomas Nelson. After reading hundreds of storybooks and listening closely to the insightful questions of his own children, Kevin penned over 500 notes and 50 devotions. Each one is designed to help young readers — and their families — see how God's truth weaves through every page of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.“Kids have the best questions,” Kevin says with a chuckle, “and somebody's got to answer them.” His prayer? That the students trained at Cedarville would go out and teach those answers in every town, every church, and every corner of the globe.Dr. Jones isn't just shaping educators; he's cultivating eternal impact. One student, one classroom, and one child at a time. You can hear more about Kevin's story, his work on the Armor of God Bible, and how to make each day count for Christ on this week's Cedarville Stories podcast. It's a reminder to all of us: Time is short, but when we use it to glorify God, its impact lasts forever.https://share.transistor.fm/s/baf5f5bfhttps://youtu.be/hvfpomWCmzo

Dear WDMP Community,What an incredible journey it's been. We feel so lucky to have been in connection with you over the years as we've explored your burning Why Does My Partner… questions. With over 100 episodes across 7 seasons, this podcast has been a labor of love—and we could not have done it without your thoughtful engagement, deep curiosity, and ongoing support. It's with heavy hearts (and full ones) that we've decided to end production of the podcast. This decision wasn't easy, and the reasons vary for each of us. Like many of you, we're noticing the weight of the world, and our capacity is more limited than in the past. At the same time, we're each growing in new directions, creating other kinds of learning and growth experiences for both therapists and laypeople alike. And because Why Does My Partner… has always thrived on the collective presence of all three of us, we agreed that if we can't all say a wholehearted “yes” to continuing, it's time to lovingly close this chapter. We're incredibly proud of the show we created, and we're so grateful for the richness it's brought to our lives. To ensure it remains a resource for you, all of our episodes will stay available on your favorite podcast platforms for years to come. Keep listening. Keep sharing. Let these conversations continue to spark insights and connection in your lives. In our final episode, we offer some parting thoughts on how you can keep nurturing healthy relationships in your own world. Thank you for being with us—through every question, every laugh, every moment of truth. It's been our joy and honor. As our paths continue to unfold, we'd love to stay connected. Please join us on our Patreon website (TSAR.website), where you can get fantastic extra content, and you also support us in continuing to make the podcast. We hope to see you there. In this episode Kerry and Julianne go through the historical background behind these two amazing revelations. They provide information most don't know about regarding how things got started by the missionaries who arrived in Missouri. They also talk about the dedication of the land for creating Zion. They then talk about the Colesville group, and the death of Polly Knight and how that influenced Section 59. They also discuss the absolute consecration she exhibited and how we can learn from that, and what it really means to be a Zion people. That involves being anxiously engaged, and they explore what that looks like in our lives. We are grateful for our executive producers, B. Fisher and K. Bradley, and for all our generous and loyal donors. We are also very grateful for all our Patreon members. We are so thankful for Launchpad Consulting Studios for producing the content and for Rich Nicholls, who composed and plays the music for the podcast.
The process of achieving social change through social movements is the struggle between the movement and powerholders of the hearts, minds, and support (or acquiescence) of the general public. The powerholders advocate policies that are to the advantage of society's elites, but often to the disadvantage of the majority population and in violation of its strongly held values. Before movements begin, however, the populace is usually unaware of the problem and the violation of their values, but they would be very upset and easily spurred to action if they knew. - Bill Moyer THE SOURCES:Bill Moyer's (MAP): https://www.historyisaweapon.com/defcon1/moyermap.htmlDONATE:www.pcrf.netGet Involved:Operation Olive Branch: Spreadsheets + LinksGET AN OCCASIONAL PERSONAL EMAIL FROM ME: www.makeyourdamnbedpodcast.comTUNE IN ON INSTAGRAM FOR COOL CONTENT: www.instagram.com/mydbpodcastOR BE A REAL GEM + TUNE IN ON PATREON: www.patreon.com/MYDBpodcastOR WATCH ON YOUTUBE: www.youtube.com/juliemerica The opinions expressed by Julie Merica and Make Your Damn Bed Podcast are intended for entertainment purposes only.
