"We schrokken ons wild. Mbo is cruciaal. "Groot denken durft men niet." Go' Morgen P3 flytter sammen med jer! Derfor vil Go' Morgen P3 forsøge at hjælpe jer alle sammen med at lande sikkert i en ny by. Værter: Mikkel Rosendal, Liva Manghezi, Andreas Kousholt.

Meet Sylvia Anthony and follow her trials, triumphs and successes in her new memoir, Sylvia's Haven. Named after the non-profit organization Anthony founded for poor, homeless and abused women and children. Sylvia's Haven serves s a testimonial of her life, faith and efforts to help others. Beginning with her birth in 1929 and continuing to the present day. Anthony recounts a painful childhood, divorce and the struggles she faced as a single mother. Sylvia's Haven candidly details the abuse Anthony witnessed and was subjected to growing up. She married at age 18, "This would prove to be a terrible mistake," she admits. Having been taught that a person should only be marry once, she stayed married for more than twelve years before divorcing. Ten years later, she remarried to a man named Rick, and her life changed dramatically. Anthony experienced what she calls a "miraculous intervention" after a near-fatal car accident and she and Rick became born-again Christians. Together, they were finally able to achieve her dream of opening a shelter for women and children. On January 25, 1987, Life for the Little Ones (LLO), Inc., was itself born. Rick began net-working among other Christian pro-life groups, introducing him and Sylvia, explaining what they planned to do. One of these groups was Pregnancy Help, a referral agency. It was a Catholic outreach group that would talk to desperate pregnant women and offer them a solution to their dilemma. Pregnancy Help would contact shelters that were willing to house and help them through their time of need. One such shelter was Friends of the Unborn. Rick and Sylvia visited the two-year-old operation and spoke at length with the owner. They were also given of the rules and regulations followed by Friends of the Unborn and the occupants of the homes. These would prove invaluable in the future. The foundation for LLO's shelter was now laid. Anthony details the many aspects of founding and maintaining Life for the Little Ones, which changed its name to Sylvia's Haven, Inc. in 1994. She also shares the pain of losing husband Rick to cancer just weeks after incorporating their shelter. Her friend Tony, a man she describes "love of my life," plays an important role throughout the book. Today at age 80, Sylvia Anthony still operates Sylvia's Haven, Inc., and to. date has housed 1034 women and children. For over 23 years, she has devoted her life to helping those less fortunate and overcome numerous obstacles along the way. She still continues her work. After losing her son, Luke, halfway through her pregnancy in 2011, Lisa was led to meet the needs of the pregnancy and infant loss community. She received her 501c3 just a mere 10 months after her loss. The mission of "Luke Lives On" is to provide support, comfort and resources to families who have lost a child during pregnancy or shortly after birth. This is done through the gift of a comfort box filled with various resources to help the family navigate their grieving to healing journey. Her goal is to ultimately help these families realize they are not alone in their journey. In fact, one in four pregnancies results in miscarriage or some other form of loss."Luke Lives On" donates the comfort boxes to hospitals and individuals nationwide. Since the inception in December 2011, LLO has partnered with 26 hospitals and has donated nearly 4,000 boxes.Lisa is a native southwest Austinite. In her spare time she enjoys running at Town Lake, traveling and live music. She is looking forward to partnering with Mindy and continuing to spread awareness for the pregnancy and infant loss community.Calls to Action Be Available – whether it’s someone dealing with the loss of their baby, a parent, a friend…just let them know you care about them and that you’re available for them when they’re ready. You don’t have to fix anything or have all the answers. You just need to genuinely listen and be there for them when they’re ready to talk.Remember the Important Dates – for those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, the angel birthdays and due dates are very important! Note them in your calendar. Reach out on those days and let them know their son/daughter is not forgotten.Don’t Minimize Loss – Loss hurts at six weeks. It hurts at 40 weeks. It hurts everywhere in-between. The loss of a child shouldn’t be minimized by their gestational age. Those babies are someone’s sons and daughters. Many of them were very much wanted and prayed for. Saying words like, “at least you were only “so” far along in your pregnancy”, or “you can always have another”, or at least you’ve already got a living child” is not helpful and doesn’t reduce the pain of the child lost.ResourcesWe like to refer people to the resources page on our website for a comprehensive view of support: https://www.lukeliveson.org/resourcesSome of my personal favorites are:Websites or apps: https://stillstandingmag.com/http://facesofloss.com/https://www.october15th.com/www.1in4app.comLocal Support Group:Hope Perinatal Loss GroupBook:Grieving the Child I Never Knew, by Kathe Wunnenberg
Link to bioRxiv paper: http://biorxiv.org/cgi/content/short/2020.11.11.378638v1?rss=1 Authors: Ilangumaran Ponmalar, I., Ayappa, K. G., Basu, J. K. Abstract: Developing alternate strategies against pore forming toxin (PFT) mediated bacterial virulence factors require an understanding of the target cellular response to combat rising antimicrobial resistance. Membrane-bound protein complexes involving PFTs, released by virulent bacteria are known to form pores leading to host cell lysis. However, membrane disruption and related lipid mediated active repair processes during attack by PFTs remain largely unexplored. We report counter intuitive and non-monotonic variations in lipid diffusion, measured using confocal fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, due to interplay of lipid ejection and crowding by membrane bound oligomers of a prototypical cholesterol dependent cytolysin, Listeriolysin O (LLO). The observed protein concentration dependent dynamical cross-over is correlated with transitions of LLO oligomeric state populations from rings to arc-like pore complexes, predicted using a proposed two-state free area based diffusion model. At low PFT concentrations, a hitherto unexplored regime of increased lipid diffusivity is attributed to lipid ejection events due to a preponderance of ring-like pore states. At higher protein concentrations where membrane inserted arc-like pores dominate, lipid ejection is less eficient and the ensuing crowding results in a lowering of lipid diffusion. These variations in lipid dynamics are corroborated by macroscopic rheological response measurements of PFT bound vesicles. Our study correlates PFT oligomeric state transitions, membrane remodelling and mechanical property variations, providing unique insights into developing strategies to combat virulent bacterial pathogens responsible for several infectious diseases. Bombers, SAMU i gendarmes van intervenir.
Alt sammen inden for små 4 kvadratkilometer.

In the late 1600s, a group of French protestant families—Huguenots, as they were known—settled in New York’s Hudson Valley. Looking for religious freedom—they were heavily persecuted in their French Catholic homeland—they built small stone houses and formed a community in and around what is now the town of New Paltz. More than 200 years later, […]
