Why do some people have seemingly miraculous healings while others do not? Why do some people who are diagnosed with a terminal disease decline rapidly while others with the same disease live longer than expected? According to our guest today, teacher and author Joseph Selbie, we all have innate soul powers for healing, and it IS possible to take charge of our own health. He believes that no disease is incurable. Today Joseph discusses his new book, “The Physics of Miraculous Healing -- How Emotion, Mind, and Spirit Enable Unlimited Self-Healing.” The modern medical system tends to believe that miraculous healing is nearly impossible. While they consider certain diseases to be terminal, there is still a tiny fraction of people who do not die. Medicine cannot explain why. Physics can better explain this phenomenon. Classical physics is a matter-centered view of reality. That was the predominant method of physics upon which modern medicine is based. This began to change nearly 100 years ago, starting with Einstein and his ideas and particularly his theory of special relativity which states that there is no such thing as matter. Matter is energy in another form or pattern. The universe is made of energy. Quantum Physics then further explains how all of matter is purely energy. It has 2 behaviors – it can be stable, or it can behave like formless waves. According to Joesph, some or all of the atoms or molecules in our bodies can take on the formless waves of energy for healing. The body is like a holograph. We live in a holographic universe. This comes from M-Theory – the leading physics of today. This states we essentially exist in 2 worlds. One of matter, and one of pure energy. We project the universe into being. We can impact this energetic world. We can do this through prayer and intention. This is why prayer can work. It involves signals being sent through this seamless energy realm. We cannot exist without it. Our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions have an immediate effect on our subtle energy. This is similar to a broadcast signal. We are constantly, and unintentionally, affecting our bodies and also the lives of people around us. Once we realize this, we can learn to be much more deliberate about the signals we send out. For example, if you listen to the news, to the anger, the violence, that's an unintentional signal that we are sending all the time. This shapes us. You can actually track the response of negative news. The primary way that we send signals is through our emotions and connection to spirit. We are constantly sending out signals. It affects us and everyone around us. This involves our emotions and our deeply held beliefs. But we can change them, if we so choose. We can do things to make our emotions more positive, make our beliefs less limited, and we can connect more deeply to our spirit or God within. Once we connect to this, we see we are part of Infinite Intelligence. We can use this power for healing. We see that when large groups of people intend together, it can have dramatic effects. Joseph also shares stories of people who have experienced miraculous healings. He talks about a man who was hospitalized with lymphoma. This man was an innate optimist. He read an article about a new chemotherapy treatment that was available at the hospital were he was. After talking to his doctor, he was able to receive this new treatment. He began to feel so much better, to the point he could leave the hospital and fly home unaided. Joseph continued the story by saying about a month later, this same man read another article that stated the experimental chemo actually did not work. He got sick again and went back to the hospital. The doctor told him that there was another experimental drug, which he tried, then he felt better and went home. He then read another article about this treatment which stated that it also didn't work. The man fell ill again, then passed away within two days. Joesph talks about this cautionary tale and our beliefs. He reminds us that we need to believe in ourselves and our own innate ability to heal. People who have been told they have a certain amount of time to live tend to typically die around that time. The medical community does so much to heal, but beliefs can sometimes be stronger. Do you remember that scene in Jurassic Park when the park's founder revealed that he had extracted the blood of a dinosaur from a mosquito trapped in fossilized tree sap?Forget the blood. Forget the dinosaur. Our interest is in that mosquito trapped in amber.I sometimes think time is the amber in which we mosquitoes are held captive.As Edwin Abbot demonstrated in his breakthrough book, “Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions,” we live in 4 dimensions: Height, Width, Depth, and Time. We have access to the 3 lower dimensions, but no access to the 7 dimensions in M-Theory that lie above and beyond our 4-dimensional “spacetime continuum.”According to theoretical physicists, those 7 dimensions are as real as the 4 in which we live. And here is the interesting part: beings in those dimensions are outside of time. They are above it. We, however, are like those mosquitoes trapped in amber. Time does not expand us; it inhibits us, shackles us, makes us wear blinders. This would seem to confirm the idea that we are not physical beings who occasionally have a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings who are having a temporary physical experience.You might be wondering what catapulted my mind into this strange, metaphysical sky this morning, so I will tell you. My partner Craig Arthur lives in Townsville, Australia, where his winter is our summer and his night is our day. This gives Craig and me a brief window to chat when he is ending his day and I am beginning my own.This morning I opened my laptop just as Craig forwarded a meme from Cat Damon. It said,“My son just walked into my room and said, ‘Daddy, I'm scared to die. Not of going to hell, I don't think there is such a place, but I guess I'm scared there's nothing. There was nothing before, so what if there's nothing after?'”Cat Damon wraps up his story with these words,“My son is 37 years old and on acid.”I'm not on acid. My drug of choice is called “Speculation.” You make it by combining Knowledge and Intuition in equal parts. Stirring this mixture is not required. Speculation explodes into existence when the two ingredients make contact.Speculation is susceptible to confirmation bias, of course. We quickly see confirmation of what we already believe.There is another formula, more popular than my own, that is just as susceptible to confirmation bias, though its practitioners like to believe their formula is objective, reliable, and scientific. This more popular formula is “Knowledge plus Data.”Am I against data? Of course not. But I can tell you that the most skillful users of data – people like Sean Jones, Dewey Jenkins, Cedric Yau, Vi Wickam, Gene Naftulyev, Pyotr Belov, Jeffrey and Bryan Eisenberg, John Quarto von Tivadar, and Luis Castañeda – these people always ask themselves whether the data might be indicating something other than what they saw at first glance.But most people do not question their initial interpretation of data. In the words of Andrew Lang, they use data, “like a drunk man uses a lamp post – for support rather than illumination.”Knowledge + Intuition = SpeculationKnowledge + Data = SpeculationMy observation has been that these 2 formulas are really just 2 different paths that lead to precisely the same destination. The key that unlocks the golden door of miracles is to have an independent partner who is using the formula you are NOT using. When both of you arrive at the same conclusion – even though you came at it from different directions – you can be far more confident that you have found the answer you were seeking.Data is a snapshot of reality expressed in numbers in a database or on a spreadsheet. Data is the logic of the rational, sequential, deductive reasoning left hemisphere of your brain.Intuition is a snapshot of...

Megaphysics II:An Explanation of Nature The Equation of Everything in Terms of Cosmology, Strings and Relativity by Dr. Mitchell Wick This book is a comprehensive mathematical exposition of how one-inch-long equation space-time is directly proportional to space and inversely proportional to mass can be used to explain all phenomena of nature. It explains the equation in terms of metric tensors and in terms of quantum mechanics and demonstrate how they equal each other and the equation of everything, which in tensors is Riemannian 4 space = Mintkowski 3 space - 1/2 space-time curvature metric called gravity/Ricci tensor of inertial mass all multiplied by 1/c^2 or if substituting the Ricci Tensor (c^2) by the energy density of matter completes the equation. A new mathematical operator is introduced called the spiral operator, which describes space-time in black holes and the total curvature of the universe is mathematically determined. Black energy and dark matter are shown how they interrelate and relate to what caused the big bang, and there is a theory as to what occurred prior to the big bang. Also a mathematical mechanism is given showing a rotational component in the quantum bubble prior to the big bang and how it fits with nature. The book applies some comments made by other physicists about compactification (rolled or curled up dimensions) to show the compactified circle of Type IIa string theory can be applied to arc length as space-time, the radius as the sum of all Riemann Forces and the angle as space-time curvature. Relativity and cosmology are explained, as well as quantum mechanics, including the Schrodinger equation, and how many more conn-compactified dimensions can exist besides the postulated twenty-six in string theory. M Theory is also explained, along with membranes and how they interrelate to energy and matter. The Hawking paradox is solved using Schwarzchild space-time and much more. Dr. Wick is a retired physician who, besides being a board-certified physician, had undergraduate studies in chemistry, including research in Polymers at the University of South Florida. Collegiate material for a bachelor’s in chemistry included physics through quantum mechanics, kinetics, and thermodynamics prior to attending medical school in 1976 at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He had also published two prior books on physics, which are Megaphysics: A New Look at the Universe”(2003) and The Equation of Everything (2014). He had residency training in Parkview Hospital in radiology and nuclear medicine, and besides being board certified in family practice, he was a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and American Association of HIV Medicine. This author is and has been in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, A Dictionary of International Biography (53rd edition, IBC Cambridge Press), and 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century (40th edition, IBC Cambridge Press, 2007). 2018 finds Graveshadow with their second full-length release entitled Ambition's Price. I'm always nervous when confronted with the successor to an album I love, wondering whether the band will make stylistic changes that don't appeal to me or, perhaps worse, just go conservative with an effort that's same and lame. Whoa - Ambition's Price is more than a worthy heir to their debut! The album contains plenty of powerful riffing, killer vocals, well-conceived compositions, as well as some potent ideas that suggest an exciting future for this band. The album opens with the stunning song “Doorway To Heaven," where we find not a route to paradise but a doorway straight to heavy metal hell. Delivered in Graveshadow's trademark aggressive and angry fashion, the track is an appropriate entry to this amazing album. “Widow and the Raven” is even more uptempo, and features a killer riff and solid chorus. Singer Heather Michele stays mostly in the clean register, dipping into her growls only toward the end. This song is as melodic as it is powerful. The title track “Ambition's Price” slows things down significantly but remains compelling. A haunting, yet super-catchy pounder played with conviction and brilliance! “Hero Of Time” - one of my personal favs - is a fast-paced gem, and one of only two songs on the album without any harsh vocals. The Zelda-inspired lyrics are well-crafted, with a memorable chorus that will have metal heads pumping their fists and singing along. “Gates” is a great track with a sinister intro, classy riffs, and the vocals exuding sheer emotion. Guitarists William Walker and Aaron Robitch are sneaky-good with their execution here and throughout, never stealing the spotlight entirely but expertly controlling the tempo and tone with their subtle fretwork. “The Unspoken” ratchets things up a notch with more intensity, brilliant melodies, and superb guitar-work that culminates in an utterly brutal ending. A rocking cut consistent with the quality of the others. The ballad “Return To Me” opens in a Dark Tranquillity-esque fashion. Another slightly slower-paced track but no less gripping. Tracks 8-10 form a min-story arc with imagery and storyline culled from the World of Warcraft universe. Straight-forward "Slave" kicks things off with a mid-tempo metal burner, leading into the balls-out speed metal tune "Liberator," featuring solid contributions from bassist Benjamin Armstrong and drummer Roman Anderson. Headbangers, get ready for this one! Rounding out the trilogy is "Warchief," an energetic piece that wraps up the narrative in style. The album closer, “Eden Ablaze”, concludes Graveshadow's conquest of the listener in the same sick vein as the prior ten tracks. The chorus is magnificent and the guitar playing and vocals typically amazing! This album hits every mark I could want for a heavy metal record and, honestly, I don't know why more American bands don't follow Graveshadow's lead in mixing some of the best of power, doom, and symphonic elements. What America needs, badly, is more metal like this! I give this album 100% rating, 5 stars, 10-out-of-10… whatever accolades I could heap on this record are manifestly deserved! This is an absolute lock on my list of best metal albums of the year, and easily my pick for album of the year so far. Today we're reviewing the 4th studio album from Tampa death metal assemblage The Absence, entitled “A Gift For The Obsessed. I'll be honest that, before receiving this promo, I was not familiar with The Absence, and was surprised to see their substantive back catalogue. There's just so much good music coming out these days, despire their best efforts even the most passionate metal fan is going to miss quality bands. So it was for me and The Absence. The album opens with the title track, “A Gift For The Obsessed”. A ‘clunky' start - in a good way - with the tempo and stylistic changes catching this listener off-guard. Maybe not so much obsessed as schizophrenic: you could hear one 10 second except and think you're getting straightforward power metal, while another excerpt sounds like brutal death metal. I really enjoy the discord sown in this song! The track “The Forging” hits the listener initally with a welcome banshee scream. The main melody riff on this song is very well-crafted - this song would fit well on an Arch Enemy album. It gets really slow and ‘deathy' – as in the classic death metal band Death – both crunchy and melodic with a superb lead break construct. The song “Misery Trophies” is a highlight on this album. Killer guitar harmonies are on full display, and if you love axe duos working together to combine their sounds these guys are definitely able to pull off the feat. “Septic Testament” – released a couple of years ago as a single as fresh material from the latest incarnation of the band's line-up – could be from a Testament album. I really like the chord progressions in this one and the way the guitars sing the melody beneath the growls. Without going through every track, I can say that The Absence provide a great variety of sounds amid the songs on this album. There's no filler tracks, and you'll have no problem listening straight through. While I have some favorite songs, the band gives consistent effort and every track has something positive and unique. The guitar sound on this album is very accessible. Guitars are high in the mix – very power-metally production-wise – even though one would not mistake this for a power metal album. And you can actually hear the bass track as a distinct instrument – not always a given in the extreme metal genres. I found Jamie Stewart's vocals to be powerful and passionate, if at times I did yearn for a touch more variety in tone. This is what I would call solid melodic death metal with definite influence from the classic Gothenburg melodeath bands, although The Absence certainly doesn't limit themselves to that subgenre. Fans of thrash, classic death metal, and even power metal will find much to like here. I do have a slight concern with this album. While for some listeners the variety of sounds can be refreshing – and I generally share that sentiment – it is also fair to question whether that will be percieved as artistic vision or the lack of a more specific vision. Which makes me wonder for The Absence: you've written a metal album I think almost every metal fan would like (except those who require some clean singing), but I'm not sure many will love. And maybe that's not a bad thing… you could definitely do worse, and I certainly recommend “A Gift For The Obsessed” to any music fan who enjoys melodic death metal tinged with thrash, and power. Actually Shaver's editor Ray Palmer was the hoaxer; Shaver believed he was writing "the truth' about the survivors of ancient extraterrestrials still living in caverns below and plaguing surface people with mind-control ray machines. This dubious expose was called "The Shaver Mystery" and dominated the pages of AMAZING STORIES, America's most popular sci-fi mag in the 1940s. Shaver's weird tales of the subterranean "Dero World" are enjoying a modest revival in reprinted editions. We were among the first 21st century Shaver revivalists with our 2007 film BEYOND LEMURIA. In our new version of "The Shaver Mystery" we placed the Cavern World of the Deros in another dimension, a parallel world very close to our own. However Shaver himself always insisted that his underground Deros were in this physical dimension --whereas his editor Palmer insisted they were "disembodied spirits." Shaver was an empathic receiver, a rue mystic. He revealed what might be the real secret of his Cavern World in a marvelously crafted fantasy novel that never has had a title of its own. It appeared in three separate issues of AMAZING and FANTASTIC from 1947 through 1949. The first part was "The Tale of The Red Dwarf," next came the third part "Daughter of the Night," followed by the second part two years later called "Erdis Cliff."
