It's an All Calls Casual Friday! Sam is back from sunny Florida after his appearance on the PBD Podcast. Him and Emma are then joined by comedian Andy Kindler, host of the Thought Spiral podcast! First, they run through updates on a Jan 6 insurrectionist launching a defamation case against Fox for painting him as a Federal infiltrator, the US' airstrikes in Syria, the Donald Trump Grand Jury going on break, Montana youth suing their state for fossil fuel abuses, the end of the LA school strike, and 2022's sharp uptick in book bans, before diving into Donald Trump's recent Truth social breakdown. John from Indiana and Bee from Queens call in to discuss members of the left media laundering transphobic talking points (however innocently they may be doing so), Jay from Atlanta talks about TikTok's trial, and Matt from Grand Rapids reflects on a Tucker Carlson segment from last night. Andy Kindler then joins as he and Sam reflect on the iconifying of various conservative figures during the US' propaganda push at the start of the Iraq war, including the production of multiple action figures, before parsing through Matt Walsh's defense of being a horrible husband (“its a JOKE” ). Louisa from Massachusetts dives into the legislative repression of medical procedures, before Sam walks through his recent appearance on the Patrick Bet-David (BPD) Podcast, from the social security debate to jailing rich people. Michael from Miami tackles Florida's changing electorate and Yosef from Israel reflects on Bibi's most recent authoritarian action, plus, your calls and IMs! What a super chat Louise and Misha have with New York based comedian and actress, Molly Brenner. We talk about her latest show "I'm Coming" and her journey to finally having orgasm. Expect a pretty fascinating and funny chat about female sexual pleasure, consent and more. ABOUT THE SHOW Molly finally had an orgasm. What’s her secret? The answers may surprise you! I’m Coming chronicles comedian Molly Brenner’s long, harrowing and strangely expensive journey to the Big O. It is an honest, sex-positive and unnervingly funny take on pleasure and the ever-elusive female orgasm. Molly’s performed for sold-out crowds throughout the US and makes her (very satisfying) international debut here at the Fringe. ‘Enlightening’ and ‘boldly personal’ (TheaterInTheNow.com). Produced as part of the Civil Disobedience 2019 Edinburgh Fringe season. Find out more at www.wearecivildisobedience.com Running until 25-Aug (ex 14) at 17:30 at Sweet Grassmarket. Book your tickets here - https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/i-m-coming ABOUT MOLLY Molly Brenner is a NY-based comedian, writer and actress. She has a solo show called I’m Coming (yes, it’s about orgasms), she is the creator of the Human Resources web series (yes, it’s about a HR manager who writes porn), and you can hear her original sex comedy content on the self-care app Sanity & Self. She performs stand-up all over New York City but mostly not in Queens because that’s really far from where she lives. Molly's work has been featured in the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Orlando Fringe Festival, NY Fringe Festival, Independent Television Festival, New York Indie Theatre Film Festival, HollyWeb Festival, She Makes Me Laugh Festival and NYC WebFest. After 21 years of “growing up” in Longford, Ireland, Sean Finnerty decided to move stateside where a series of mature decisions that he failed to make led him to stand up comedy. Sean first cut his teeth in the Orlando comedy scene and quickly learned that his no holds barred humor and charming accent were well received (when people could actually understand what he was saying). Selected for Comedy Central's Up Next competition and as a semi-finalist in both the 2014 Florida's Funniest Comedian Competition and the 2014 Charleston Comedy Festival, Sean has been seen at comedy clubs and festivals across the Southeast, including The Improv, the Orlando Fringe Festival, the Orlando Indie Comedy Festival, and at Gringos Locos Tacos at 3 in the morning after a night out. He has worked alongside touring headliners such as Dan Cummins, Mick Foley, Tommy Johnagin, Shane Mauss, Sean Patton, Rich Vos, Bobby Slayton, Mark Normand, Joe List, Maronzio Vance, Ben Kronberg, and Dustin Diamond. Born and raised in Ireland, comedian Sean Finnerty offers a unique perspective on everyday life. A finalist at the 2014 Florida's Funniest Comedian Competition and the 2014 Charleston Comedy Festival, Finnerty brings his brash, unapologetic and distinctive perspective to the Dog and Bone British Pub this weekend… @SeanyFinnerty #KCIrishFest #KansasCity #IrishComedy #SlackerMorningShow101theFox #TMobile
