In this solo Ern episode, we slow the conversation down.Following the latest headlines tying Jay-Z and Pusha T to the so-called Epstein files, the internet rushed to judgment—but what does it actually mean to be “named”?This episode breaks down the difference between being mentioned in an FBI intake report and being charged or provenin a court of law. We walk through what's publicly known about the alleged 1996 and 2007 events, where both artists were in their careers at those times, and why there is no verified transcript—despite claims circulating online. We also examine:How internet outrage turns allegations into verdictsWhy celebrity names amplify unverified claimsThe danger of confusing association with guiltWhat accountability should look like if allegations are ever provenWhether Jay-Z will speak publicly, given he has addressed prior allegations beforeThis isn't a defense and it isn't a conviction. It's a conversation about standards, facts, and how easily truth gets buried by clicks.

Welcome to "The Rip" a new series we are doing on I Like Birds where we rip into the biggest headlines, viral stories, and cultural moments that need to be spotlighted in a biblical perspective. Join us for the very first episode of "The Rip" as we examine recent investigations by Mike Winger involving allegations tied to Shawn Bolz, Todd White, and leadership accountability within Bethel Church, through the lens of Luke 8:17 and 1 Peter 4:17.We then shift to cultural exposure surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein massive document releases, discussing public figures mentioned, such as Bill Gates, Jay-Z, Harvey Weinstein, Pusha T, Prince Andrew, and Brett Ratner. The conversation continues with faith entering the mainstream through moments involving Nicki Minaj, Jelly Roll, Brandon Lake, and reflections on the cost of public faith, especially as we saw at the Grammys. We close by addressing Scripture, celebrity, and true surrender through LeBron James, emphasizing that the Bible is not a quote for motivation but a call to follow Jesus as Lord. We are praying for Lebron, Kanye, and Justin Bieber, as this is a unique opportunity to choose life over darkness. The Bros are back in person and the vibes are high. The Snow is melting but 2026 is heating up in a good and bad ways. The Bros first discuss their lengthy Weekend Recap trying to survive the ice and being fathers, spending time with family and tapping into new Music. The first conversation is about J Cole's new “Birthday Blizzard” freestyle he dropped last week and some of the controversial things that came from those records. Terrance and Terrell both share a favorite of the four, and discuss if somebody should respond to J Cole and the possibility of him sliding bars Kendrick's way. A good conversation but you know how they get with that sensitive topic. This is all before diving into their thoughts on the 2026 Grammy Awards. A MALLORY BROS PODCAST MUTHAFUCKIN TRADITION! They've been making predictions all year and the winners are finally chosen. Of course they chop it and dive deep into trending opinions from Grammy night like the hate that Olivia Dean received after winning best new artist, Kendrick Lamar & SZA Wins, Leon Thomas & Kehlani R&B, Bad Bunny Wins the Big One AOTY, Clipse coming up short to Kendrick Lamar's GNX for Best Rap Album over Clipse and Terrance even make's a point that the Clipse seemed to be living in Pharrell's shadow. EVERYTHING IS A LOT. Next, the Bros talk about how the Hip Hop World froze when an Epstein file dropped including the names of Jayz and Pusha T. They discuss the seriousness of knowing the legality of these claims while also pointing out the very obvious contradictions and hesitations to cover this story from other media outlets. This news has Hip Hop in a pinch. Terrell says “The only choice is to just wait.” Next the Terrance has a list of actors/actresses he found that he says were PERFECT for a role, but didn't get the part. A lot these you probably won't know and the topic is filled with a lot of good details about the films as well. Not just the roles and auditions process. Terrell gives a hot take on Bacon before the Bros wrap up Episode 289 with the Movie Suggestions of the week. BROS BBQ TASTE SO GOOD.

After Mal and Peeje shut down the studio after our mixer Friday night, we’re back in-studio. Mal thinks Wale dropped a gem, and Demaris says Summer Walker is 3 for 3. “It Is What It Is” is about to get a bit more petty if Max B hops on as a regular. Rory and Mal debate who would win a Verzuz between Tony Yayo and Memphis Bleek. Mal doesn’t understand the backlash Pusha T is receiving for his IG caption announcing his 2nd child. Plus, Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul might be the final time anyone cares about a Jake Paul fight, and should women approaching men be the norm? #volume All lines provided by hardrock.betSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The post attempted to flip Pusha's past criticism of Drake's age-gap preferences, reigniting the never-ending Drake vs Pusha T stan war.Analytic Dreamz examines the verified timeline: Pusha T (born May 1977) and Virginia Williams (born April 1989) went public in 2010 when he was 33 and she was approximately 21—not 18. They got engaged in 2013, married in 2018, welcomed their first child in 2020, and announced baby number two in November 2025. The 29/18 math is impossible.Dreamz analyzes the alleged Drake like: no verified screenshot from @champagnepapi exists, Drake's likes remain hidden to the public, and major outlets (HipHopDX, Complex, XXL) never confirmed the story. Community Notes and fact-check accounts swiftly corrected the misinformation. In this segment, Analytic Dreamz exposes how recycled beef, bad math, and unverified screenshots fueled another manufactured Drake-Pusha T controversy in 2025. Clipse was formed in 1994 by two brothers: Gene Thornton Jr, aka Malice, and his younger brother Terrence Thornton, aka Pusha T. From the beginning, they've worked with producer Pharrell Williams, originally as part of the acclaimed production duo, The Neptunes. But then, there was a 16 year gap between the third Clipse album, which came out in 2009, and their most recent album, Let God Sort Em Out, which came out in July 2025. This November, they were nominated for 5 Grammys, including Album of the Year. They were also nominated for Best Rap Song, for “The Birds Don't Sing.” It's a song that they made after the death of both of their parents in the span of just a few months. For this episode, I asked Pusha T, Malice, and Pharrell about the making of that song, which also features contributions from John Legend and Stevie Wonder. For more info, visit songexploder.net/clipse.

They also debate the future of celebrity interviews and how the media is used to shape narratives.History sets the stage for politics: a candid look at Trump's media strategies, headlines about peace-prize talk, and the Democrats' habit of courting Republican voters amid a broader stalemate.
