Truth Be Told with Booker Scott – Politically, the Republicans cower. They're afraid it will cost them seats in the next election because the Democrats are masters at casting the blame on others. They're doing it right now on the border bills and Ukraine. Or, they're complicit. Very few conservatives have the backbone or the stomach to shut the government down, even though it's the only leverage they have. What is the truth about government shutdowns?

Fear can be both good and bad. Cowering in fear or living life afraid of anything and everything is no life at all. But a healthy fear - of danger, of hurting those we love, or of sinning - that's a good thing.--Peter concludes chapter one by teaching us four reasons, among many to be found in the Bible, why we should have a healthy fear of the Lord. Some have taken this phrase, fear of the Lord, as an instruction to hide from or be afraid of God. But a biblical fear of the Lord is something much better. It's the kind of healthy respect that recognizes God for who His is, as we'll discover in today's message

Far too many people are terrified to speak the truth, says Mac Donald. It's not hate speech to say that every country has borders and our citizens should be the ones deciding who enters our country. Right now, our immigration policy isn't decided by Americans. It's decided by non-Americans and their unimpeded efforts to get into our country. If you say the reality today is not white privilege it's black privilege, you'll be accused of hate speech. There will be more and more punishment. Mac Donald says you won't be able to spend your own money or go where you want to go, all because of the Left's emotional blackmail. The Left will say “if you don't agree with me you're hurting me and you're putting me at risk of suicide.” It's absolute emotional blackmail and no one should go along with it. The Marxist Left insists that racism defines America, trying to tear down our meritocracy in the name of diversity and equity. GUEST: HEATHER MAC DONALD, CONSERVATIVE COMMENTATOR, AUTHOR AND ATTORNEY

A co-founder of Common Knowledge, the non-profit social enterprise focused on sharing skills for a sustainable life, we were so intrigued by Harrisons work that we had to share his work and story. This show is about people who perform to a high performing level in their respective field, and Harrison is educating and empowering individuals to take ownership and understand their homes, their happiness, and their livelihoods. We unpacked the wealth of time versus the wealth of money, how Harrison pivoted into teaching - and what his 5 day course is all about. We asked what people want to learn about when they study with him, pizza ovens...and also the similarities between down-under and here in Ireland. This one really fed our curiosity. Show Transcript: You are listening to the Blooming Inspired Podcast on the Blooming Inspired Podcast Network. We exist to empower the voices of women who live their lives #BloomingAlive through Podcast Community. Now, here is your host. Blooming Inspired Podcast equipping and empowering the voices of women who live their lives Blooming Alive. This week Michelle continues her very personal series about Mirror Moments with God where she found the courage to receive His forgiveness, trust His love and walk in who He created and redeemed her to be. Introduction Greetings to God’s Beautiful Wildflowers! This is Michelle Bentham, host of Blooming Inspired Podcast. Last week I began sharing my mirror moments testimony here on the podcast. As I shared last week, Embracing Identity is a core value here at Blooming Inspired Network. In my own experiences I’ve found spiritual identity is not at all about discovering who YOU are in Christ, but rather settling your heart in intimacy to know Him - just Him - discovering who He is and how He wants to express Himself through you. Last week I shared the messier parts of my testimony and how God used these practical mirror moments to reveal not only His heart for me, but also to help me embrace my identity and who He says I am. Today I’ll share a final mirror moment in the context of the story of a biblical woman. As I share with you today, I want to encourage you to put yourself in today’s passage as we look at the adulterous woman who was cast at Jesus feet for judgment and found herself receiving mercy instead. Let’s Pray, Father God, I ask that You would give each person within the sound of my voice eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to know you more. I pray that we would be able to step into the story and find you there, meeting with us and speaking to our hearts personally - up close. I ask Lord for you to allow us to encounter you and realize the truths revealed for ourselves today! Show us Your Glory Lord! I ask these things in Jesus’ Holy Name, AMEN. Would you allow your heart to engage with Jesus and settle on Him today? Last week I shared that somehow in leading women’s Bible study I missed the idea of God taking my confession of sin and cleansing me of all unrighteousness. So as we begin today I want to turn to a familiar passage of scripture and begin with an encounter activation today. Rather than turn in your Bible’s I want to encourage you to do something completely different. Today, I want you to get in a comfortable position sitting in a comfy chair or your couch. If you can do so safely of course… Please don’t do this next part if you are driving in your car… But, now I’d encourage you - let your shoulders drop back, close your eyes and let whatever cares you are holding onto go. Now, take a few deep breaths (in through your nose, out through your mouth), and as you do I want you to think about the place in your body you are most aware of the presence of God when He shows up. Once you have settled on where you are most aware of GOd’s presence, I want you to focus from that place of awareness on who you know Jesus to be from Scripture. What do you know about Him to be true? And when you have that place of awareness, I’ll call it your heart, when you have your heart set on Jesus then join me in the reading. Lord, come and meet with your children today. We ask you to come and introduce yourself to us in real and tangible ways. Thank you Lord, for your goodness and grace today. If you remember, last week I shared that I had a moment when God woke me from my sleep and had me recall all of the unconfessed sins I had committed. And as I confessed them to Him, grieved over what they had cost Him… He gave me His perspective of me in exchange - “Look what a mess you made out of the beauty I created.” I feel sure some of you need to encounter the Lord’s goodness much the same way I did that night. If, at any time during the reading God begins to speak to you, stay with Him. Otherwise, join me as we place ourselves into this story found in the Gospel of John. Today’s reading is in John 8:1-11 and I’ll be reading from The Passion Translation: Let me set the stage for you - women in Jesus’ time where considered more property than precious gift. Men often married them when they were very young and the women had taken to sewing their valuables into their garments and braiding their jewelry into their hair so that if their husband came home one day and said, “I divorce you. I divorce you. I divorce you.” they would not be found destitute. A woman in this situation without means could not return to her family, for she is disgraced. An adulteress by law since she is now divorced. She has no choice in order to survive she would have to do one of two things, 1) choose to live with a man unmarried, or 2) prostitute herself to make a living. The law found in the Deuteronomic Code prescribed that both a woman and a man caught in adultery should be stoned to death. But, in this narrative we find that the pharisees only brought the woman to Jesus. Now, Let’s Begin: Verse 1-3: Jesus walked up the Mount of Olives near the city where he spent the night. Then at dawn Jesus appeared in the temple courts again, and soon all the people gathered around to listen to his words, so he sat down and taught them. Then in the middle of his teaching, the religious scholars and the Pharisees broke through the crowd and brought a woman who had been caught in the act of committing adultery and made her stand in the middle of everyone. Can you picture this woman with me for a moment? She was likely in some state of undress - perhaps even naked. She may be crying, trembling and fearful of the men who are dragging her through the street. Her tears mingling with the dirt being stirred as she is escorted to the temple steps where this angry, pious group of men cast her down at Jesus’ feet. Can you see her? Defeated. Broken. Ashamed. Fearful. Weeping. Crying out, perhaps. Cowering at the feet of Jesus. Not even daring to look up. Now that you see her, could you be her? Could you be the woman caught in a trap of sin - suddenly exposed, found out and cast at the feet of Jesus? How are you feeling? What are you thinking? Maybe your sin isn’t adultery, but the wages of sin is death - and we all have sinned. Verse 4-6 Then they said to Jesus, “Teacher, we caught this woman in the very act of adultery. Doesn’t Moses’ law command us to stone to death a woman like this? Tell us, what do you say we should do with her?” They were only testing Jesus because they hoped to trap him with his own words and accuse him of breaking the laws of Moses. But Jesus didn’t answer them. Instead he simply bent down and wrote in the dust with his finger. Can you hear their voices? Accusing you. Shaming you. Demanding judgment and an answer. You know what’s coming - first one, then another - they’ll soon begin casting their stones of judgment beyond these words. Caught in the act - they said. The Punishment is Death. What have I done? Oh Lord… Please. Help me. Your thoughts must be racing, pounding out a rhythm of panic with each beat of your heart. Suddenly you sense His presence, low to the ground. What is He doing? He’s writing something with His finger in the dirt. I could throw myself at His feet and beg for mercy… But, that won’t do any good. I deserve this. I was caught in the act. Two or three witnesses - I heard him say it. Verses 7-8: Angry, they kept insisting that he answer their question, so Jesus stood up and looked at them and said, “Let’s have the man who has never had a sinful desire throw the first stone at her.” And then he bent over again and wrote some more words in the dust. Can you hear His voice speaking to the men who accuse you? Did He just give them permission to stone me? They are the Pharisees. Surely none of them even thinks about sinning… Well, except that one who comes to see me a few times a week… Suddenly you hear it… and with each sound you cry out and flinch again and again - weeping uncontrollably as they fall - THUD. THUD. THUD…. One by one the rocks begin to fall. Verses : Upon hearing that, her accusers slowly left the crowd one at a time, beginning with the oldest to the youngest, with a convicted conscience. Suddenly, you realize that the rocks are not hitting you at all, but wait… What is happening? Can you enter into this moment with this woman? Can you be her? Can you see her? Can you experience this with her? Verse 10: Until finally, Jesus was left alone with the woman still standing there in front of him. So he stood back up and said to her, “Dear woman, where are your accusers? Is there no one here to condemn you?” Can you see her? She is still cowering, sobbing, weeping as she realizes she is not going to die today. They didn’t stone me! What is happening? Why did they leave… You lift your head and see that the men who accused you have all left. The rocks haphazardly creating a circle surrounding you and this man, Jesus. So many follow Him… You finally lift your head fully and… Verse 11: Looking around, she replied, “I see no one, Lord.” NO ONE LORD! NO ONE! NO ONE ACCUSES ME! Then you feel it the relief bubbling up and turning to joy. Now you’re laughing through your tears. He offers you His hand, He pulls you up to stand. He takes off His robe and wraps it around your naked body, covering your shame. You slip your arms into its swallowing sleeves. You pull it tight around you. And that is when He places his hand on each side of your face and pulls your eyes up to meet His own. What do you see in His eyes? Jesus said, “Then I certainly don’t condemn you either. Go, and from now on, be free from a life of sin.” At this point can you see Him there holding your face in His hands as the lifter of your head and encouraging you to go and live your life free of this sin that so easily entangled you. Can you see her? Can you be her? Redeemed, Forgiven and Released. I shared about that moment when I walked into the bathroom and I felt that He told me I was beautiful. Today, I want to share a bit more of my mirror moments story from a time when I had to forgive betrayal and learn to let God tend my heart. Last week I spent time bragging on my husband, #TheFisherman, and how precious he is to me. And boy, is he. But we’ve been through it. And though most of our relationship I’ve been making messes and he’s been there to help me clean up afterwards… There was a time about 11 years ago that he hurt me, and I had to walk on the other side of this conversation. During our recovery I asked my husband for permission to share our story if it could help others who may find themselves in a similar situation. He gave me his permission. In 2008, right after Christmas, I learned my husband had become involved in an emotional affair with a woman he met playing an online video game. My heart was broken, but my resolve to save my marriage strong, and if I am honest - I had neglected him in those three years before after my son passed away and we walked out unimaginable pain as a family. And that affair hit me right in the love languages - if you catch what I am saying. Meaning my top two love languages are quality time and words of affirmation. He had been giving exactly what I need to another woman, a virtual stranger, for six months while my needs for emotional intimacy and quality time went unmet. It was not easy to overcome that kind of betrayal for me - and beside my child dying this would have been my #2 confessed fear - my husband choosing someone else over me. As we both determined to focus on our marriage and begin to date again while figuring out how to overcome the wounds we both carried from our first decade of marriage - I found myself home alone during the day and processing the pain I felt with God throughout the day. Our lead pastor at church had shared in a series one time that in the morning we should worship God in our quiet time, and if you are not quite sure what to sing, just sing the song that is playing in your heart. One particular morning a few weeks after discovering the affair, I was cleaning my bathroom and found myself standing in front of the bathroom mirror humming a familiar tune from my younger days. The song playing in stereo in my head. The greatest love of all is happening to me, learning to love yourself - it is the greatest love of all… Whitney Houston’s exquisite voice singing the song in the recesses of my mind. After several minutes of singing the song while I cleaned the large plate glass mirror above our double sink vanity, I finally stopped and dropped the paper towels on the cabinet. “God! Why is that the song in my heart today?” He waited a beat or two and then I heard what I have come to know as His voice in my thoughts as He said, “Because I am the greatest love of all, and when my perfect love happens to you - you learn to love yourself.” You see, Jesus said in the Gospels that the first commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and the second is like it - it is learning to love your neighbor as yourself. As I stood staring at my face in that mirror, the tears began to fall again as I realized God had once again brought me to His truth in the sweetest way. 1 John 3 & 4 tells us that God not only loves us, but He is love. Perfect Love. And that love casts out fear - including worries, anxieties and insecurities. For me, the journey of learning to love myself would take me a decade. And as I have learned to love myself, I have learned to see myself from His perspective and to recognize I was created by love, made in the image of love so that I may be a full expression of His Love to the world around me. He is so good. Next week I will conclude this message series with a final testimony of how I came to realize that though I had found myself in Love, I still had not fully embraced my identity in Christ. Tune in to here more of the story next Friday as we continue to embrace identity, encourage passion, equip purpose and empower calling at Blooming Inspired Podcast. Closing Remarks That’s all the time we have for today! Thank you for tuning in with us. I pray the Lord met you through these words today. That His grace and love permeated your heart and mind in such a way that you were changed by an encounter of His presence through His Word. #TheGospels #VerseByVerse Bible Study focusing on the Book Of John begins November 14, 2020 right here in Granbury, TX. [06:00] – Solzhenitsyn’s Harvard Address (10 minutes) The late Russian author Alexander Solzhenitsyn delivered one of the most sobering speeches to America, Britain and the West back in 1978. The media turned against him after that speech. They were fine with Solzhenitsyn exposing the evil atrocities of the Soviet Union, but they didn’t like it when he exposed the evil in our own nations. [16:30] – Cowering in Fear (14 minutes) Solzhenitsyn spoke of the decline of courage in our nations. How chillingly applicable this is for America and Britain today. Look at how many leaders today lock everyone down, force people to stay in their homes, and deny people’s rights! Solzhenitsyn also warned of an unelected, out-of-control Western media. He said the American press had more power than our elected officials. And that was in 1978!

It has helped me improve my everyday life by appreciating what I have and how to use it. Her wise words have helped me become a much more confident woman everywhere, every day and around everyone. I think that everyone needs a little Trish in their life so I totally recommend this podcast!!! HOW CAN CONFLICT LEAD TO CONFIDENCE? Conflict > Conversations > Communication > Connection > Confidence 10 FUNDAMENTALS ON HOW TO HAVE DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS Value bravery. (Being emotionally brave is more impressive than being physically brave.) Remember conflict leads to connection. Honor other people's perspectives. Seek to understand and not always be understood. Release expectations (let go of trying to control their feelings and reactions) Use The 5-Second Rule (Mel Robbins) Speak from the heart and be humble. Listen as well as you talk. Seek connection, not your own resolution. Define a purpose (objective to be transparent, to express oneself, etc.) HOW TO HAVE HARD CONVERSATIONS WITH YOURSELF These are perhaps the most important conversations to be having in the first place. You don't have to go these alone - use prayer, and your journal to guide you. Braindump onto paper - and stop using the excuse that you're worried that someone will look at what you write; y'all people are not interested in what you're thinking about, you're safe. Pay attention to your own avoidances and what you are resisting. We all run away in our own ways - seek emotional maturity enough to look at what is actually going on within yourself. Each month I like to ask myself - what do I need to modify? What am I allowing or permitting that I need to pay more attention to? How can I be a better wife? How can I be kinder to myself? How can I be a more engaged and patient mother? How can I be a more present and encouraging human in my circles and comings and goings? For me one of the hardest hard conversations to h...
Throughout the Bible, Paul's teachings are always teeming with the pattern of endurance. Romans 5 is no exception as he instructs the Followers of the Way to "exult, glory and boast in their trials". Why would any one of us want to do so? Well, he goes on to answer why and this episode examines just that. Fear is advancing and the people of God are quickly revealing that they are not immune. We must become grounded and set now in order to have any chance to endure what lies ahead.

Tied outside the entrance of a café, the young Border Collie-mix paced and panted. An approaching couple, assuming that a dog tethered outside of a café would be friendly, moved toward him to say hello. But before they could get within five feet, he erupted into a frenzy of barks and shrieks and then urinated. The dog’s person rushed out, coffee in hand. “Sorry—he’s a bit shy,” she said, the dog cowering into her. Untying the dog, she quickly led him away down the street. For a “normal” dog, this would have been a welcome encounter. But for a chronically shy dog, something as simple as a casual hello from a stranger can be a terrifying experience. It goes without saying that this timid dog should never have been left out there alone, waiting to fail. This example is an extreme case of shyness (extreme shyness can look like aggression), but there’s a whole spectrum of timidity. Read on to determine if your dog is shy and how you can use confidence boosting exercises to help her feel at ease. Is Your Dog Shy? Signs of Shyness Typically, a dog’s behaviour and body posture will alert you to his timidity. A shy dog might exhibit any or all of the following: Ears flattened back to the head Cowering posture Shying away from interactions with other dogs and/or people Tail tucked between the legs Panting or shaking Dilated, glassy eyes Skulking, pacing, hiding, or escaping Whining or barking Raised hackles Fear of eye contact Sneering, nipping or biting Submissive urination Some shy dogs exhibit shy behaviour only toward people, while others show it only toward dogs. Many, though, will display the behavior toward both, or even in stressful situations that don’t involve a person or dog. Thunder, fireworks, traffic, or any unpredictable circumstance can trigger a shy dog into a panic. Why Shy? Causes of chronic timidity in dogs are numerous, and include one or more of the following: Hereditary predisposition Improper socialization during the first eight weeks of life Traumatic occurrence during the first “fear imprint” stage, from 8–11 weeks Chronic abuse Injury or attack Medical issues, including hearing loss, thyroid imbalance, epilepsy, or chronic pain Rescue dogs in particular can suffer from shyness, due not only to trauma associated with being in a noisy shelter with many unknown dogs, but from the abrupt (and often serial) termination of comforting relationships with an adoptive family. When a dog is abruptly denied the comfort of a reliable, loving situation, and deprived of any dependable routine, he can develop anti-social tendencies. Don’t! There are certain situations and actions you should attempt to avoid with your timid, fearful dog. They include: Tethering her outside an establishment such as a café, store or library while you go inside. People coming and going will try to pet her; this will reinforce her fears, and perhaps cause a biting incident. Forcing your dog into a fearful situation, thinking it’s a “sink-or-swim” solution. It will only make things worse! Telling friends and strangers to make eye contact with her and to reach out to greet her. Instead, let your dog initiate the greeting. Having large, boisterous groups in the home. Putting her into a room or a crate will make matters worse, because she can still hear the noise, but not go anywhere to avoid it. Only use the crate or room if it is located far enough away for her to not hear the stimulus. The hectic activity of children should particularly be avoided. Overbearing training styles. Forcing a shy, hiding dog out from under tables, sofas or chairs when scared. Instead, let her come out of her own accord. If you must get her out, keep a leash on her in the home and use it to coax her out. Then have her sit for a treat. Taking her into chaotic urban environs or areas with unpredictable activity, such as a skateboard park or a fireworks display. Instead, always think ahead, and choose venues you know won’t panic her. How to Help a Bashful Dog Enjoy the Finer Things in Life: Easing a Shy Dog’s Worries Via Confidence Building Exercises Though you may not be able to turn a shy dog into a socialite, there are techniques you can use to ease the stress and raise a timid pooch’s confidence. These include: Obedience training A shy dog that knows exactly what you are asking of her will be less likely to panic. It’s essential to teach your timid dog the basic commands, especially “Sit,” “Stay,” and “Come.” Never use an overbearing, intimidating style, and avoid yelling or undo emotion. Stay calm and supportive, but avoid coddling and over-the-top, exaggerated praise. Treats and toys are helpful tools to keep her mood upbeat during training. Begin teaching all new behaviours in a quiet indoor spot with no distractions. Then, over time, gradually introduce distractions, such as a friend reading a newspaper, a football game on the television, or kids playing outside a window. Eventually take the obedience outside. If your shy dog is liable to run off when scared, keep a leash on her. Doggie Mentors Professional trainers often enlist the help of a confident, laid back canine helper. When a timid dog sees the confident helper dog playing, sitting for treats, and enjoying herself, he will often relax and join in on the fun. If your shy dog has a doggie friend she knows and trusts, by all means, use that “mentor dog” to help in the training and socialization process. If your timid dog doesn’t like other canines, try including a person she trusts. Subtle Socialization Nervous dogs often don’t respond well to the standard socialization techniques that other dogs do. Busy parks, streets or active homes can send them into a panic and make the problem worse. Instead, be subtle. Have a friend sit quietly in the same room as the dog and randomly drop treats onto the floor. No eye contact or communication; just treats. Over time, this will get your shy dog to associate that person with something good. Once he trusts that person enough to regularly take the treats, continue with the person standing. Then move the venue to another room, or into the yard. Slowly, you’ll relax the dog enough so that the friend can go with you on walks and even take the leash. Repeat this with other friends until your dog has a small cadre of trusty human pals. Game time! Worried dogs have a hard time enjoying life. To break the worry cycle, teach your dog to play games such as “Fetch” or “Hide-and-Seek.” She will relax and simply be a dog for a while. If she has a dog friend, include him or her in the fun. Schedule at least three play sessions each day. If you can, change up the venue, so that eventually she will feel comfortable playing within sight of strangers or unpredictable activity. Timid dogs have a “worry radius” that is fairly predictable; as long as something or someone stays outside this distance, the dog is usually fine. If you can, try to reduce this distance ever so slowly, over time, while playing games. After several months, you should be able to play games within plain sight of activity. (Keep a leash on her if the area is unfenced.) Trick and Treat Teaching tricks to your shy dog will help her focus and stay out of “worry” mode. And, they teach her positive cause and effect—if she performs the trick, she gets a treat. It may sound simplistic, but, for a nervous dog, just learning that they can initiate a reliable, predictable interaction can be a great comfort. Any tricks will work. “Shake,” “Spin,” “Roll over”—whatever you think your dog can master is good. Exercise A tired dog is less apt to worry than one that has pent up energy. To that end, try to get your dog as much exercise as possible on a daily basis. Go for walks in areas where he’s not apt to panic. Jog or bike with him. Play fetch or Frisbee—whatever gets him tired will calm him and keep his mind off of worries. (Ever been so ridiculously overtired on a long-haul flight that you didn’t fret the turbulence as you normally would? Same principle. It’s remarkably effective.) Directed Walks If your shy dog fears other dogs, the normal canine greeting procedure—a nose-to-nose, nose-to tail, play-posturing ritual—should be replaced with a technique called the “directed walk.” Instead of letting the leashed dogs greet, simply walk them briskly, with as much space between each dog as needed to prevent your own shy dog from panicking. Walk them quickly, right at your dog’s “worry radius,” and don’t allow contact. It should be a no-nonsense, directed walk, as if you are all on a mission. Keeping them moving! After a few minutes, have each sit about ten to fifteen feet apart, and reward. Then move on, and repeat. Over time (days if need be), reduce the “worry radius” incrementally, but don’t feel obliged to have the dogs greet each other unless it’s completely obvious from their body postures that they want to. The idea is to get your timid dog to think there is something important going on that takes precedent over her fears. This “teaming” drill is a vital tool in conditioning her to like other dogs. Desensitizing By pairing a marvelous experience with a worrisome one, you can slowly desensitize your timid dog to stimuli that cause her worry. For instance, if she fears the sound of a vacuum, try this: record the sound of the vacuum on your cell phone. Then, with the volume set down to barely audible, have her sit then give her a treat while simultaneously playing the audio. If necessary, have a partner operate the audio from a distance while you work with your dog. Over a few days, increase the volume while treating. Also, try playing her favourite games while the audio plays. The trick is to increase the volume slowly, over time, and to never reward the dog when she reacts poorly to the sound. These “counter-conditioning” drills should over time get her to actually look forward to the sounds, because they signal a payday. Scent Work Teaching your timid dog to find scent-rich items hidden around the home is a great way to get her mind off of her troubles and build her confidence. Start off by hiding a treat in plain sight then telling her to “Find-it!” Lead her to it if need be then praise and say “Good Find-it!” As she improves, make them harder to find. Use different treats and other scent-rich items, such as another dog’s hair, a feather, or even a slip of paper with some lavender oil on it. Success will boost her confidence! Routine and Trigger Reduction Most importantly, reduce the possibility of failure by setting your dog up for success. Maintain a predictable routine for your shy dog and keep the home as free from triggers as possible. Desensitize very, very slowly, as you gradually expand her pack to include select trusted humans and dogs. Once you realize that you are managing a personality disorder more than curing a bad behavior, you and your shy dog will make great strides towards minimizing her fears so she can enjoy life. In this episode we discuss Karl Denninger's article, which described the LVPD's response team cowering in the stairwell instead of directly confronting Stephen Paddock like they should have, and how this cowering in the face of a diabolically narcissistic bully only invites a more vicious attack. Lessons to learn from this episode include realizing that the police WILL NOT come to your aid in a perilous situation and that you MUST PREPARE NOW both physically (buy more guns and ammunition) and spiritually (get to confession regularly and daily) for the coming escalation "sub-optimal social conditions."
