Send us a Text Message. Is Microsoft capable of producing standout games? On this episode of the Gamer Traffic Show, we get right into the thick of it with a heated debate between Mike Sampson and Mr. Amazing on whether Microsoft's potential acquisition of another studio is a game-changer or a dud. With Mr. Amazing casting doubt on Microsoft's track record and Mike advocating for a fresh start, the sparks fly. .Our attention then turns towards Sony's latest State of Play event, where we dissect the graphical prowess and overall performance of the showcased games. There's no holding back as we voice our dissatisfaction with the lack of heavy hitters like God of War and the underwhelming reveals of Silent Hill and a Marvel game that feels too much like Overwatch. Not to be missed is our breakdown of PlayStation's new dual-CEO leadership, introducing Herman Hulse and Hadiki Nishnu, and what their vision might mean post-Jim Ryan. Finally, we take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, celebrating the sports video game franchises that defined our gaming history. Titles like NFL 2K, NBA Street, and NBA Jam stir up memories and hopes for modern revivals. As we forecast the thrilling NBA Finals between the Mavericks and the Celtics, we highlight the key players and storylines that have everyone on the edge of their seats. Welcome to The Fetch! This is the debut episode of a new segment that premieres monthly, wrapping up gaming and nerd culture happenings from the past month, while also kicking it and talking about the fetch quests of real life. Kyle, aka Dr. Chillgood, is joined by his brother from another mother Marcus Alford, one of the hardest working lazy people you'll find in the whole world. Not just the city, the world. No, Gretchen will not be in any episodes. But we are trying to make fetch happen in her name. Streamer and content creator Marcus Alford is the worst streamer in the world, but don't think that's going to keep him from simultaneously being the best in the world. Marcus is the newest addition to the SQE family, but he's been friends with Kyle since elementary school. Kyle dates their true friendship to the amazing catch he made once during gym class, talking about that while contemplating what the last CD they ever burned was. As far as games are concerned, the two dope boyz revisit the casting for the Mario movie and why Chris Pratt might work as Mario given the history of animated video game movies. We consider if now is the time for an EA Big renaissance with the return of titles like NBA Street, FIFA Street, and SSX (but definitely not Def Jam: Fight for NY according to Marcus). They also gush about the classic games coming to Nintendo Switch Online, and Marcus reveals why he's such an Xbox hater.
Met up at Good Co and then zoomed up to Dyckman to talk with Estiee! We talk about his early days living in Arizona, always being around/working on music, and eventually starting to rap in high school. We discuss shit clicking for him, starting to perform a lot in Arizona, and opening for artists like Pusha T and the Flatbush Zombies. We talk about him moving to New York and him becoming a substantial part of The Good Company. In 2015, Esteban started the brand "Cliff" which he continues to run today with a collective of his close friends. We go into why he decided to start a brand, how it is to run one, and how he continues to keep things fresh in the very saturated market that is "fashion." Many other topics are in the mix like him performing many times in Japan, producing for A$AP Rocky, being godlike at NBA Street, etc. Shoutout to Caleb and Mo for being a part of this and thank you to Estiee!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Welcome to the Arcade Sports episode where we'll be covering twenty (wow!) different games, mostly from Midway and EA Sports BIG and talking about the unique era that these companies competed in. From NHL Hitz to Backyard Baseball, to NFL, FIFA, and NBA Street, we bring you all the ridiculous arcade action and Limp Bizkit that you've been craving since '03. We're joined by friends of the show Marty Thompson, Harrison Tim, as well as newcomers Brian Tong and Brayden Kerr to dicuss our memories of these games and come to the sad conclusion that they'll probably never be made again. Since there are 20 titles to read the Back of the Case of, Neil will be reading them all at the beginning so our regularly scheduled programming will begin at 7:33 if you feel like skipping ahead.
