Aus dem Januarloch  Café Utopia startet ins neue Jahr und wir melden uns direkt aus dem Januarloch. Während mein Stammgast und Kreativ-Buddy Marco noch zwischen den Ideen schwebt, habe ich mir einen neuen Kaffeekocher in der Stranger Things Edition gekauft und stelle damit, Achtung Wortspiel, alles auf den Kopf. Mit Stranger Things hole ich auch Marco ab. Ein Grund für sein Schweben könnte nämlich auch das Ende der Netflix-Serie sein. Während er den dem Ende nachtrauert, habe ich gerade erst mit der Serie begonnen. Das Ganze führt uns zu Vibes aus früheren Zeiten und zurück ins Jetzt. Ja, wir sind mitten im Januarloch. Aber irgendwie ist es auch gut so. Bereit für neue Abenteuer, die noch nicht wirklich begonnen haben. Aber sie lassen uns träumen. Und vielleicht träumt ihr auch ein bisschen mit uns mit.

Christian Berkels Familiengeschichte reicht weit zurück, sie ist voller Kapriolen, Katastrophen und Anekdoten und hätte das Zeug zum Fernseh-Mehrteiler, neudeutsch: das Zeug zur Netflix-Serie. Aber wozu gucken, wenn man sich all die Bilder und Szenen auch selbst erschaffen kann. Was durchaus funktioniert, zumal inzwischen drei Romane erschienen sind, die starke autobiografische Züge tragen. Und alle Bestseller wurden. "Der Apfelbaum", "Ada" und jetzt "Sputnik". Der 1957 geborene Berliner wusste früh, dass er als Schauspieler leben müsste, eine Alternative schien es nie gegeben zu haben. Haken wir gleich mal nach. Mit 14 geht der Junge für ein Trimester nach Paris, die Sprache liebt er, die Stadt, das Land, und so bleibt Berkel länger als geplant, kehrt nach zwei Jahren zurück und widmet sich mit voller Energie dem Theater und immer auch der Arbeit vor der Kamera - eine Sache, auf die er sich über all die Jahrzehnte zuverlässig und immer erfolgreich verlassen konnte. Da geht es ihm wie seiner Frau und Mutter der Söhne, Andrea Sawatzki, ebenfalls erfolgreiche Schauspielerin, ebenfalls schon mehrfache Bestsellerautorin. Uns würde interessieren, wo es sich im Hause Berkel/Sawatzki am besten schreiben lässt - im - Arbeitszimmer? Auf der Couch mit dem Laptop? Und im Sommer - auf dem Dach? This documentary, told through police bodycam footage of the confrontations leading up to the horrific murder, is part of a movement for social change.
