Schizophrenia is a chronic and debilitating disorder that creates a substantial burden not only for patients but also for their families. The high rates of treatment resistance, relapse rates, and incidence of adverse side effects in patients with schizophrenia suggest that a major treatment gap continues to exist. Given the high rates of treatment resistance, novel strategies and therapeutic approaches beyond D2 receptor blockade are being intensively studied. What are some of these novel approaches? How effective are they in the treatment of schizophrenia? What medications are available, or emerging that target neurotransmitters systems beyond dopamine? In this podcast episode, Dr. Jonathan Meyer and Dr. Leslie Citrome discuss some of the ground-breaking work in this field, and how you can better treat patients with schizophrenia. Is your critical voice getting in the way of doing what you really want to do? Steve speaks with artist/songwriter Mark Oblinger about getting back to your art, how limitations can serve you, and the magic that music brings to visual media."Don't judge it. Just let it be, and see where it goes. 'Cause that's the whole thing about judging your own material - terrible idea." - Mark OblingerFrom high-energy anthems to deeply introspective ballads, Mark’s songs are a soulful, eclectic blend of diverse musical textures, inspired by icons including Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel and current influences such as Gregory Alan Isakov and Maggie Rogers. Mark’s lyrics paint vivid pictures of both personal loss and rebirth—and the courage to stand ones ground when left without easy choices.“Riveting and haunting songwriting, flawless musicianship, masterful production, and soaring above it all the golden throat of Mark Oblinger.”—3-time Grammy winning producer Tom WasingerMark’s national performing roots include stints with chart topping country rock stalwarts Pure Prairie League (“Amie”) and Firefall (“Cinderella,” “You Are the Woman”). From there, Mark’s had the good fortune to work with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield, Poco) Garth Brooks, Amy Grant, John Oates, Jeff Hanna (Dirt Band) and more.A 5-time Emmy winning producer/composer with multiple works featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Mark was a 2012 Grammy Finalist for his Children’s Jazz Symphony JumpinJazz Kids—A Swinging Jungle Tale, featuring the great Al Jarreau.Since 2015, Mark’s toured the country with Indie/Folk powerhouse Rebecca Folsom, where he began to write and showcase the songs that would become his own High Water Line.Released July 15th, 2019, and followed by a sold-out concert at the Gordon Gamm Theater in Boulder Colorado on August 9th, High Water Line has garnered a host of national reviews, press and radio airplay on both commercial and noncommercial Americana and AAA formats.Linksmarkoblinger.comwww.facebook.com/MarkOblingerMusicwww.instagram.com/markoblingermusictwitter.com/markoblinger1www.youtube.com/channel/UCIrX4ztulLN2SW-BvwZkqpQsoundcloud.com/arkblingersync-club.com

The story was written by Nicholas Briggs and stars Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy. It was recorded between 6–7 March 1999. To coincide with the release of this new Doctor Who range, a CD was given away free with Doctor Who Magazine #279. Titled Talking 'Bout My Regeneration, this documentary considered the history of the show in audio and featured behind the scenes interviews with the cast and production crew. Davison's and Baker's interpretation of their respective regeneration of The Doctor was well received, with each having a distinct voice and considerable character development.[1] Contents1 Synopsis2 Plot3 Cast4 Continuity5 References6 External linksSynopsisWhile Gallifrey is threatened by a fleet of hostile warships outfitted with technology surpassing even that of the Time Lords, the Doctor is dealing with a plot to destroy him in his Fifth, Sixth and Seventh incarnations. Each Doctor faces his own trial alone, before coming together in the final episode to confront the Sirens of Time. PlotVansell, a member of the Celestial Intervention Agency, arrives on Gallifrey with an urgent message for the President of the Time Lords – an invasion fleet threatens the planet and Time Lord technology will not be able to repel them. History has somehow been distorted, and the only clue is the artron energy of a Time Lord in the distortion... the energy belongs to the Doctor. The Seventh Doctor hears the cloister bell tolling within the TARDIS and changes the coordinate setting. A message comes through from the Time Lords but is too garbled for the Doctor to make out its content. He then hears a mysterious sound coming from outside the TARDIS, and exits to investigate. He hears a woman, Elenya, drowning in quicksand and rushes to her rescue. He is waylaid by a cackling hag who says both he and Elenya will die. Arriving at the quicksand, the Doctor wonders why the hag had not tried to save Elenya, and takes her back to the TARDIS. The hag, Ruthley, returns to attend to a crippled old man named Sancroft, her prisoner. Over a communicator, she reports to a commandant who questions her over ion trails he has detected in her sector but she denies knowledge of them. At the TARDIS, the Doctor is not able to enter his ship. He asks Elenya how she arrived on the world. Sensing some familiarity about her he asks if they have met before. Elenya says that she crash landed on the planet. They set out to search for the hag's residence, as another space craft crash lands nearby. Hearing the crash, Sancroft asks Ruthley if the planet's shields are failing, but she then taunts him that no one is coming to his rescue. The Doctor and Elenya see a ship that somehow makes it through the shields. Ruthley is heard communicating with an alien voice on the ship, which informs her that bio-assassin cultures will activate on landing. The Doctor and Elenya desperately dive for cover as a further ship makes a landing nearby. They arrive at its crash site as something alive emerges. Elenya thinks she is looking at a dying creature, but the Doctor believes the opposite – it is something being born. Ruthley speaks to a planetary security robot, a Drudger, and commands it to eliminate the Doctor and Elenya, but it tells her that that procedure is not permitted. Ruthley, talking to herself, says that does not matter because all will be dead soon. The Doctor and Elenya come across the robot which commences to do a mind scan which knocks them out. The Doctor awakes to find himself with Sancroft, but Elenya is still unconscious. He is surprised that the Doctor is not afraid of him. The Drudger reports to Ruthley that it has found bio-engineered life forms emerging from the wreck. The robot confronts the life form and commands it to surrender; its reply is to open fire. Ruthley comes to the cell and tells them they cannot escape, as in the distance they hear the Drudgers being destroyed. Ruthley cackles and tells them that "they" will kill all of them. The Doctor asks if there is anywhere in the house they can all hide, and Sancroft suggests Ruthley's bedroom. Thinking she has done a deal with them, Ruthley approaches the bio-assassins and tells them that infamous Sancroft, First Knight of Velyshaa, is there for ready them to kill. However, the bio-assassins eliminate her so there will be no witnesses. The bio-assassin plays a recorded message – Sancroft has been sentenced to death for war crimes against the people of Calfadoria. When the Doctor pleads with the assassin to spare their lives, it tells him that it has no quarrel with anyone but Sancroft. However, there must be no witnesses, and the assassin opens fire... A submarine prepares to attack a British freighter as the TARDIS materialises on board. The Fifth Doctor disembarks searching for some sort of distortion. He hears a voice of Time Lord calling to him to return to the TARDIS because of the "destruction of time". However, he is unable to get back inside his craft. A woman arrives and tells him that she will take him to her Captain, just as the submarine starts its attack. The submarine crew spot two survivors clinging to a box floating in the debris of the remains of the ship. The Doctor and the woman, Helen, are brought on board and a thrown in a cell. The craft submerges as a British destroyer enters the area. The Doctor demands to see Captain Schweiger with vital information for the Kaiser. The Doctor pretends to be a German spy, telling him that proof of his identity is in an airtight crate now floating in the sea. The Captain is unwilling to retrieve the crate because of the British ships in the area. When returned the cell, the Doctor notices evidence of a time distortion. One of the crew, Schmidt, begins to attack the Doctor and the voice of a Time Lord is heard urging on the attack. On Gallifrey, Vansell is reprimanded for his brutish plan by the President. However, Vansell insists that the Doctor must be stopped, whatever the cost. On the submarine, Helen tends to the Doctor's wounds after his fight as the alarms on the craft go off. A vessel, the Aquitania, the Lusitania or the Mauritania, has been sighted, and the submarine prepares to attack it. Vansell telepathically contacts Schmidt and again tells him to kill the Doctor. He goes to the cell with a pistol, and the Doctor tries to reason with him. The observing Time Lords argue over whether to kill the Doctor but Vansell proceeds to give the order to Schmidt to kill, who then shoots. Schweiger hears the shot and rushes to investigate. The Doctor is still alive, and Helen taking Schmidt's gun shoots and kills the German. The Doctor takes the gun from her, he has only suffered a shoulder wound. He threatens to shoot Schweiger unless he turns the submarine around. Schweiger does not believe the Doctor could shoot him, but Helen takes the gun and displays more determination. Schweiger turns the submarine around and it heads towards the last known position of the TARDIS. The Doctor however is still unable to reunite with his companions inside the TARDIS and realises that the Time Lords wish him to be dead... On Gallifrey, Vansell discovers that a female presence exists inhabiting the vortex at each of the nexus points at which the Doctor has been observed. He has found a further incident involving the Sixth Doctor and the legendary time beast, the Temperon, in the Kurgon system. He pleads with the president for more power, but the President announces that the transduction barriers have been breached and the aliens have landed on Gallifrey. They call themselves the Knights of Velyshaa and have demanded an unconditional surrender... The Sixth Doctor finds himself at some kind of conference on a space ship where a waitress seems very familiar to him. The ship, the Edifice, is investigating a spatial anomaly known as the Kurgon Wonder. However, a particle field quickly surrounds the ship – the Doctor identifies it as a shard of time distortion. He hears voice saying "help me", but is unable to identify the source. With the exception of the Doctor, a waitress named Elly and an android pilot, everyone on board is aged to death by the disruption. The Doctor tells Elly he believes the TARDIS has crashed into the Kurgon Wonder. They are attacked by some kind of monster but the pilot arrives and shoots it. Time distortion begins to make the hull of the ship disintegrate. The Doctor realises that the ship is still heading into the Wonder through momentum. Analysis of the monsters reveals that they are created by accelerated evolution of bacteria and viruses. On Gallifrey, the Knights shoot dead the President, their technology inhibiting any further regenerations. Vansell is also shot but manages to send a final message through the pilot's positronic brain: "do not free the Temperon." Elly reveals that she is part of an organisation dedicated to freeing a being they believe is trapped in the Kurgon Wonder. The Doctor deduces from the presences of Temperon particles that the Wonder is in fact the legendary Temperon trapped at the moment of its death. As the pilot is about to relay the Time Lord's message to the Doctor, Elly shoots it. Afterwards, the Doctor finds himself back in the TARDIS at the centre of the Wonder. The Doctor attempts to dematerialise which will also free the Temperon. The Temperon tells the Doctor that he has released the Knights of Velyshaa. As the Doctor is smothered by the Temperon it issues a final warning: "Beware the Sirens of Time..." The Temperon absorbs the Doctor into itself and continues its warning about the Sirens of Time. Deposited on Gallifrey, he finds himself in the Panopticon alongside his fifth and seventh incarnations, also brought by the Temperon. They enter contact to share their experiences. They realise the girl each of them encountered was in fact the same person. One of the Knights of Velyshaa welcomes Knight Commander Lyena to Gallifrey in the name of Sancroff. They detect Time Lord life signs and force the Doctors to flee. Escaping into the lower parts of Capitol, they start to search for the Temperon. The Sixth and Seventh Doctors observe a Knight out of its armour, its flesh is rotted and diseased. Soon they find the restrained Temperon, but are captured by the Knights. All three Doctors are brought before Lyena who reveals that subjugated Time Lords are being used to revitalise the Knights. She proceeds to reveal what happened next at each of the nexus points. The Seventh Doctor rerouted the planetary shields to repel the bio-assassins and save Sancroff. The Knights one day found him to inspire their plans of conquest. The Fifth Doctor's actions prevented the sinking of the Lusitania. Although the outcome of the First World War was not greatly affected, a common criminal on board the ship who should have died went on to murder Alexander Fleming. Penicillin was never discovered and in 1956 a plague devastated the Earth. This in turn prevented future humans from defeating the Knights of Velyshaa in battle. When the Sixth Doctor freed the Temperon, its destruction allowed the Knights to gain the powers of Time Travel. However, Lyena pleads with the Doctor to return in time and reverse all the changes. It seems that the destruction of the Temperon caused a disease which affected all the Knights. The last remaining TARDIS on Gallifrey is too damaged to allow them to use it. When they suggest they should release the Temperon, Lyena immediately refuses and orders the Doctors be arrested. The Temperon warns the Doctors to beware the Sirens of Time, and to beware Lyena. Grabbing a weapon from a Knight guard, they use it to release the Temperon from its restraints. It tells the Doctors that Elenya, Helen, Ellie and Lyena are all the same, manifestations of the Sirens of Time – a race that feeds on the energies of chaos, distortions and disruptions in time. Unable to disrupt directly, they lure others to do so. If the Doctors obey the Sirens call more than once, they will be forever trapped in their thrall, but Lyena threatens to kill the Fifth Doctor if they disobey her. The Temperon tells the Doctors if they free it, it will go back in time and destroy the Sirens at the beginning of time. However, they realise he cannot destroy the Sirens or he would have already done so. The Temperon admits this, but he could contain them. Renewing her threat to kill the Fifth Doctor, the Sixth Doctor uses his pragmatism to see through the threat and releases the Temperon. Sancroff is killed by a bio-assassin, the Lusitania is destroyed by the German submarine. Vansell's TARDIS arrives on Gallifrey but nothing is out of the ordinary, and he departs. The Doctors arrive at the nexus point where the Seventh Doctor met Elenya for the first time, but ignore her cries for help. They see the hag Ruthley but tell her they were never there. The Doctors then depart, each to try to find their own TARDISes... Today we will look at Tolkiens villain Sauron and then a comic book called I kill giants, finally we will look a great free audio book app. Plus stick around for the giveaway you can win.  ----more---- Soul of Sauron: Is anyone beyond redemption? That’s a question I thought of when I read a passage from of the Rings of power and the third age at the end of the Silmarillion about Sauron. Which we will get too in a minute but first let’s take a brief look at Saurons early origins. Sauron has far more history than what the LOTR films tell, and we will explore some of his history before the trilogy. Despite being the title character of The Lord of the Rings, Sauron is notable in that he never directly appears during the events of the trilogy. Nowhere is any detailed description given of what he looks like, other than in vague terms. He is one of the Maiar spirits originally named Mairon, meaning "the admirable, the same “race” as Gandalf, Saruman and Radagast. However he is by far the most powerful of Maiar spirits. Thousands of years before the events of the LOTR Sauron was corrupted to evil by Morgoth the brother of Manwe king of the Valar. Sauron liked order and perfection which made him the best candidate to be in charge of the army of Morgoth which included the Balrogs Orcs and Dragons to name a few. In The Silmarillion, Sauron is described as being a shape changer, and took many forms, including that of a serpent, a vampire, and a great wolf. After Morgoth's fall, Sauron appeared in fair form as "Annatar", the Lord of Gifts, and maintained this appearance until the Fall of Númenor, in which he was unable to ever take fair form ever again. The History of Middle-earth includes a passage vaguely describing how the Númenoreans saw him: "Upon that ship which was cast highest and stood dry upon a hill there was a man, but greater than any even of the race of Numenor in stature...And it seemed to men that Sauron was great; though they feared the light of his eyes. To many he appeared fair, to others terrible; but to some evil." In addition to his physical appearance, Sauron also apparently had an aura of incredible malevolence. A passage in The Silmarillion describes him as having a "dreadful presence," and daunting eyes. Furthermore, his mere presence could bend all but the strongest wills. Mentioning his eyes again …And some hold that this was not at first falsely done, but that Sauron in truth repented…, …Therefore when Eönwë departed he hid himself in Middle-earth; and he fell back into evil, for the bonds that Morgoth had laid upon him were very strong.” After the fall of Morgoth it is said in the Silmarillion, Sauron came before Eönwë who was a Maia serving Manwë, Eönwë was referred to as the "greatest of arms in Arda," meaning that he was the best with weapons. Sauron renounced his evil deeds, but it was not in Eonwe powers to forgive another Maia, he would have to petition to Manwe himself. Sauron was unwilling to do this. After the fall of Morgoth Sauron hit rock bottom and hid for centuries in Middle Earth. I found this fascinating, why? Because it shows a human side of Sauron and no one is beyond redemption. Tolkien gave us glimpse into the soul of Sauron. Even though Sauron ultimately chose to stay evil, for a brief moment he did consider the move to good. However he didn’t want to face judgement and rehabilitation Manwe would bestow upon him. Maybe because of his love for perfection he couldn’t face his own imperfection. Like I said for brief moment there could have been redemption. A glimpse at the world which could have been if Sauron would have repented. But this didn’t happen and the dark lord spend many millennia causing chaos and death try to force order upon middle earth. Regarding Sauron's personality, Tolkien had this to say from his letters:In my story Sauron represents as near an approach to the wholly evil will as is possible. He had gone the way of all tyrants: beginning well, at least on the level that while desiring to order all things according to his own wisdom he still at first considered the (economic) well-being of other inhabitants of the Earth. But he went further than human tyrants in pride and the lust for domination, being in origin an immortal (angelic) spirit. Sauron desired to be a God-King, and was held to be this by his servants, by a triple treachery: 1. Because of his admiration of Strength he had become a follower of Morgoth and fell with him down into the depths of evil, becoming his chief agent in Middle-earth. 2. when Morgoth was defeated by the Valar finally he forsook his allegiance; but out of fear only; he did not present himself to the Valar or sue for pardon, and remained in Middle-earth. 3. When he found how greatly his knowledge was admired by all other rational creatures and how easy it was to influence them, his pride became boundless.—J.R.R. Tolkien Among Sauron's chief powers were deception and disguise: he trick the elves into making the rings of power and he trick the Numenorians to take on the Valar There is more to Sauron that I haven’t touched on here, maybe another episode we can dive deeper. If you have watched the movies, but haven’t read the books I encourage you to do say if you don’t like to read try audio books, which leads to my next section With Amazon buying the rights to Tolkien literature I hope they explore each main character like Sauron and tell their stories. Maybe a 12 episode series on Sauron exploring his origin and early years. Up until the fall of Morgoth. Who would you like to see them do a series on?   Application Station: Hoopla is free at most public libraries. Sometimes it’s easier to listen, that’s why you are here now. With driving or running or working around the house audio is easier to help pass the time. Most public libraries give you access to these, the selection is mediocre IMO. Audible is going to give you a much bigger selection. Along with the audio books you also get access to ebooks and comic books too. This is how I found the Mark Milar Jupiter series. Avaiable for IOS and Android.   Comic Book Image comics I kill Giants comic book Barbara Thorson, a girl struggling with life by escaping into a fantasy life of magic and monsters. Released July 2008. Barbara is a confused girl dealing with trauma in her life. This causes her to be overly blunt with people in her life even people who want to be her friends. This may be a bit foreign to readers, but for me being around kids who have been traumatized I can understand the confusion, maybe you can too. However Barbara does have some witty comebacks to the mean people in her life and she’s obsessed with DND. At first it is difficult to tell if Barbara is out of touch with reality or not. She dresses weird with bunny ears. Many readers can relate as we all want to escape real lifes struggles and stress even if it’s only for a short time. However eventually you have to face them and you find out you find out you are stronger than you think. It’s a B/W comic book and the writer scribbled the entire story line in less than an hour on a yellow legal pad while his dad was going through physical therapy. To find the perfect giant the writer Joe Kelly asked Jim the artist for about 50 versions of giants before he settled on the one he wanted. The entire story is great, it shows as nerds we like escapism, and like Barbara we can be a bit snarky and crass.   Podcast shout out: Day Dream instruction Manual Eddie and company look at all things nerdy and not so nerdy.   Contest: We will be giving away a copy of the game Mintworks a cool game by five24labs. Mint Works is a light and straightforward worker placement game. Its compact size makes it easy to put in your pocket and take it anywhere. LCHF Family 006: Meet Kai! Released: July 20, 2017 In this episode, you'll meet Kai, the final member of the family. She was the last to start low-carb, high-fat eating in our household and is still in early days. She'll share what her first month has been like, including things she's missed, things she hasn't missed, struggles, and successes. Kai resisted the change to LCHF for a long time. She has always been a picky eater. Even before we just out most fruits and all grains from her diet, she only had about 5 meals she would willingly eat. Adam asked her to try LCHF for a week as his Father's Day gift and she agreed. By the end of the week, Kai had noticed her mood had improved dramatically. Like many teens, she had been struggling with self-confidence and depression. While LCHF isn't a cure-all for those issues, switching to a real food diet that keeps insulin under control seems to be helpful to many, and Kai was one of those people. By the end of the week, she decided on her own to keep up with the LCHF diet. Because of her general pickiness, Anne is not as concerned about Kai's carb intake as with the rest of the family. She mainly focuses on helping Kai eat real foods and avoid industrial oils and grains. Also, to help Kai transition to this way of eating, it was essential to find some "copycat" recipes that would help her enjoy foods she loves in healthier, lower-carb doses. We laugh, we digress, we say "like" a lot, and we tell you about two of our favorite meals: tomato soup with grilled cheese and pizza. Yes, they're LCHF! For the tomato soup recipe, we use the Tomato Stew recipe from Eat Happy and run it through the blender. This results in a nice, thick tomato soup with a more nuanced flavor than a straight-forward, "tomato sauce with broth" recipe. It does take more prep work to make than a can of Cambells soup, but it's far more nutritious, and once the prep work is done, you can leave it to bubble away on the stove while you do other things. Make a double batch and freeze the leftovers for a second meal when you're pinched for time. To make a low-carb bread for the grilled cheese, we use 90-second almond bread.  (Scroll to the recipe box at the bottom for the recipe we use.) Most people make this in a mug, but we found a 4" square, glass baking dish that we use, which makes a "proper" looking slice of bread once it's sliced horizontally. It can be tricky to slice bread that way, though, so that's probably best left to the grown-ups until kids have demonstrated proper knife skills. Diet Doctor's Low-Carb Pizza, complete with nifty ingredient calculator, is here. This is, hands down, our family favorite of all the low-carb pizza options we've tried. The crust isn't too "eggy," though it helps to have a good layer of pizza sauce on it. The best part, though, is you can make it as a thin crust and still pick it up to eat it. For people who aren't fans of thicker, pan-pizza style crusts, finding a thin crust you can hold is really difficult with the LCHF options. LCHF Family 005: Meet Abby! Released: July 13, 2017 Abby joins the podcast for the first time to share how she started LCHF and the successes she's had. Abby was a slender child until a trip back to the US when she was about 6 years old when extended family took her and her sister out for treats daily for several weeks. They both put on weight on that trip and returned home with serious carb cravings. As her parents, we followed the standard diet advice for overweight children -- portion control, exercise, low-calorie foods. But this just drove her to sneak food when we weren't looking because she was hungry. Any time we had to take her to the doctor for something, her doctor would focus on her weight rather than the issue at hand, but none of them had any advice to offer other than the standard dieting advice of reducing calories, eating low-fat foods, and moving more. It was really frustrating as her parents because nothing we tried was helping her. And, it's one thing to be an overweight parent, but when your kids are overweight you feel worry for them, and frustration that none of the advice is working, and the weight of the judgement of others. Abby didn't join us on NSNG/LCHF until a few months after we started, and then we didn't give her an option. We had finally found something that worked, and we hoped it would work for her, too. In the course of a few months, Abby went from the obese child, barrel look to having a shape again. Over time, she has slipped out of the realm of morbid obesity and is continuing to make progress, all while not being hungry. Her confidence has gone through the roof. She always loved to bake, and now she tinkers around in the kitchen, trying various LCHF recipes and relearning what it means to make healthy foods. As promised, here's the recipe Abby came up with for an LCHF Cheese cracker that tastes like a Cheez-it: Abby's Cheese Cracker Abby came up with a tasty, quick recipe for a cheese cracker that tastes just like a cheez-it. Give it a try! 1 3/4 Tbsp cream cheese 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 2 heaping Tbsp almond flour 1 pinch salt Preheat toaster oven or oven to 250C/475F. Put the cheeses in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 15-second increments until the cheddar is melted. Add almond flour and pinch of salt to the melted cheese and stir. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Press the cheese dough flat on top of the parchment paper. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove the cracker from the oven and poke holes in the dough with a fork. Return to the oven for 3 more minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Enjoy plain or with pepperoni and Frank's Red Hot. Before he was fascinating and terrifying as Deadwood's Al Swearengen, actor Ian McShane played rakish antiques dealer Meredith Lovejoy on the long-running English series Lovejoy. This is that. More precisely, this is a discussion amongst the hoopleheads of the Lovejoy episode "Who is the Fairest of Them All?" which finds a haughty-if slightly zaftig-ballet dancer freaking the fuck out about a mirror. (Seriously. This episode is about the buying and selling of mirrors. The climax is a high-stakes operation involving the switching of price tags. Clearly, Lovejoy is nothing like the actual world of antiquing, which is violent and cutthroat.) Sincere thanks to guest and temporary host Shane Poole of In The Village: An Introcast for The Prisoner for his fact finding and good humo(u)r, as well as saving the podcast with his backup recording. Smashing job, Shane! You are indeed quite tickety-boo. (Also, I tried to do as little editing as possible for this bonus episode.) | Send feedback to hooplecast@gmail.com.
