In this film, when Santa Claus is kidnapped on Christmas Eve, his security detail must search the world to find him. To do that, they'll need the helper of an expert tracker who happens to be on the naughty list. Dwayne Johnson's production team, Seven Bucks Productions, along with Hiram Garcia came up with the idea for this film and went into production in late 2022. The film hit theaters on November 15, 2024.

The film follows the head of North Pole security (Dwayne Johnson) teaming up with a notorious hacker (Chris Evans) in order to locate a kidnapped Santa Claus (J. K. Simmons) on Christmas Eve; Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Nick Kroll, Kristofer Hivju, and Wesley Kimmel also star. The film is seen as the first of a Christmas-themed franchise, produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Seven Bucks Productions, Chris Morgan Productions, and The Detective Agency.Red One was released internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures on November 6 and was released in the United States by Amazon MGM Studios through Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on November 15, 2024. The film received generally negative reviews from critics.Filming began in October 2022 in Atlanta and wrapped in February 2023. Filming ran into issues with Johnson, who was an average of seven to eight hours late to film his scenes and missed several days of shooting. These delays reportedly increased the budget by $50 million to a total of $250 million, which Garcia disputed. Johnson was attached to Shazam! early in development and confirmed to portray the villain Black Adam in September 2014, but the producers later decided to give the character his own film. Sztykiel was hired in October 2017. Collet-Serra joined in June 2019 for a planned release date of December 2021, but this timeline was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional casting took place over the next year, including four members of the Justice Society of America (JSA), and the script was rewritten by Haines and Noshirvani. Filming took place from April to August 2021 at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, and also in Los Angeles. Black Adam had its world premiere in Mexico City on October 3, 2022, and was theatrically released in the United States on October 21, 2022, by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances of Johnson and Brosnan but criticized the screenplay and villain; the action scenes received a polarized response. I really can't recommend Brian's book enough, and I can't help but feel like wrestling—with its baby faces (heroes) and heels (villains); with its emphasis on “kayfabe” (that is, playing along with a storyline even though everyone on all sides knows its scripted)—on some level is a key to understanding modern American political culture. Hiram is the President of Production at Seven Bucks Productions, a passionate photographer, and a film and television producer whose films have amassed over $4 billion in box-office revenue. A trusted collaborator in the production process to Seven Bucks co-founders, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, Garcia oversees all production operations from development to release. In addition to producing projects, Garcia loves to get behind his own camera and is an ambassador for legendary camera company Leica. Garcia’s work has been featured in print and digital media and he opened his first gallery in 2019, with many more projects in the works. Because of his active schedule, Hiram likes to shoot whatever crosses his path – whether it is actors on set, waterfalls in Hawaii, empty roads or his favorite subject, his dog. He likes seeing a moment and creating a replica of it, something special that evokes an emotion.
