"Wo kommen die ganzen guten Anime auf einmal her, ich dachte die Season wäre nichts." - Lukas, einige Tage vor der Aufnahme. Julian erging es ähnlich und endete aufgrund seiner Experimentierfreudigkeit (und zu viel Freizeit) mit ganzen 27 Titeln diese Anime-Season. Die klaren Highlights sind wahrscheinlich die Sequels. Dazu gehören die 3. Staffel von "Fire Force", wo die Erinnerungslücken doch größer waren als gedacht, "Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary" Staffel 2 und wenn es dazuzählen darf "Lycoris Recoil: Friends Are Thieves of Time". Die 2 Minuten des Spin-Offs haben Julian Energie für die gesamte Woche verliehen. Genauso sehr freut ihn, dass einer seiner liebsten Themenkomplexe "Hexen" diese Season auf so vielfältige Weise bedient wird: Ein wenig Yuri in "Killing Slimes", nette Comedy in "Witch Watch" und "Once Upon a Witch's Death", was eine interessante Mischung aus all dem und ein wenig Melancholie verbindet. Ein neuer "Gundam" und "Sword of the Demon Hunter" sorgen für ein wenig mehr Action. Und letzteres greift auch einen weiteren roten Faden auf, der sich durch die Season zieht: die Male Fantasy, die Männer wirklich wollen. Der Titel, der diese Season aber wahrscheinlich am besten verkörpert, ist "Apocalypse Hotel": Unkonventionell, zeigt sein Potential erst in der 2. Episode und wird wahrscheinlich unter dem Radar laufen.
