On this episode of The Nonsense Podcast, we kick things off with another "Choose Your TV Friend Group" debate, featuring Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Friends, That ‘70s Show, and The Golden Girls. But just as things are getting lighthearted, the conversation takes a deep turn. With Black History Month freshly behind us, FNBob comes in with a heavy question—what do Black people really want, and what's holding them back in America today? Is it a lack of leadership, education, or just the will to push forward? What starts as a genuine discussion quickly turns into FNBob realizing… maybe there's no helping anyone. In a rare switch-up, Henvincible plays the role of the skeptic, arguing that finding answers might not even be worth it. This episode is full of surprises—deep convos, wild realizations, and the kind of debates you don't usually expect on Nonsense. Did we solve anything? Probably not. But we sure got people talking.

Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast we are talking to Precious Chong, daughter of Tommy Chong of – you guessed it, the comedy team of Cheech and Chong. We talk to Precious about her own career in front of and behind the camera as well as intricate details of how a natural disaster kept the comedy duo (and Tommy's marriage to wife Shelby Chong) afloat just when things seemed at their worst, having people judge you as a child purely based on your father's work, how a generation of fans only know Tommy as the hippie from That 70s Show, being picked up for a carpool by Ali McGraw, the lost scenes of Up in Smoke co-starring Josh's Mom Edie Adams as Mrs. Stoner and mining familiar territories like long lost LA restaurants and the Z Channel. It's not every child of a counter culture, anti-establishment celebrity that rebels by being a straight A student but that is part of the terrain we cover on today's episode. There was so much to unpack on this episode but I ask you, where else in the world can you find out that Warren Beatty was just an okay tipper and being Oliver Stone's assistant wasn't all it was cracked up to be? Take a listen. Everyone has a story.
Tommy Chong began his comedy career in the iconic comedy duo Cheech and Chong. Together they recorded numerous comedy albums and made multiple films throughout the 70s and early 80s, including Up In Smoke. After Cheech and Chong broke up, Tommy performed standup and booked more than 60 film and television roles, playing Leo for five seasons on That 70s Show, and Yax in the Disney film Zootopia, among many others. Tommy has also been a long-time supporter of the legalization of marijuana and has his own line of cannabis products throughout the United States. What you will learn: Tommy reflects on how he got his start in comedy in the 70s, and how playing in multiple bands throughout the 60s prepared him for the world of entertainment. [0:00-12:52] The process and inspiration behind Tommy and Cheech's first, self-titled Cheech and Chong album, and how they trail-blazed through the LA comedy club scene. [12:52-21:21] The tumultuous events behind the scenes of Up in Smoke, and the tensions that continued into future Cheech and Chong films. [21:21-36:07] How, after the Cheech and Chong broke up, Tommy's wife became an integral part of his comedy act, and what happened to that dynamic when Tommy and Cheech reunited. [36:07-47:10] How Tommy approached comedy as a solo act and what parts of his Cheech and Chong persona he kept during his solo act. During his five season run on That 70s Show, why Tommy felt so comfortable playing Leo, even though he doesn't really consider himself an to be an “actor.” [47:10-56:06] Tommy opens up about his unique upbringing, including his time spent living in an orphanage, how a number of tragedies instilled within him early survival instincts, and how he found passion and inspiration in music. Why his humble beginnings as a child still affect his world view on consumerism and his definition of financial success. [56:06-1:08:56] Finally, Tommy talks about the medical benefits he has experienced using marijuana and CBD, and what plans he has in store for the world when his cannabis business flourishes. Some may know him as Ray Campbell on Sister, Sister, and others as Venus Flytrap on WKRP in Cincinnati. And then there are those who fondly recall him as Frank Parrish on Frank's Place, or others as "Downtown Brown" on Simon and Simon. But none of these aliases hold a candle to the man, distinct, renowned and an original in his own right. He is called a pioneer because of his founding of New Millennium Studios in 1997 before Tyler Perry and after Oscar Micheaux's Lincoln Motion Picture Company in the 1940's. So many around the world call him inspiration or mentor. Two of us call him Dad. And there is one who calls him Poppy. He is also doted on as a husband, friend and leader amongst men. He has a whimsical mischief in his heart that attaches anatomically to your funny bone; a twinkle in his eye that catches you off guard and makes you see the stars; and the most unforgettable stories one can ever tell. Yes, a charismatic presence that can elevate all within his radius to cosmic beings; the most elemental definition of a superstar. Here's to Tim Reid, my dad - a culture manifesting auteur, a brilliant visionary, an outlier - an icon. “When I built the studio, first since Oscar Micheaux, betting millions of my own money... it didn't work the way I had anticipated. Embrace the nostalgia as the Junkies look back on the ’90s on this week’s episode. Remember the Spice Girls, Beanie Babies, high-waisted jeans and…lava lamps? Anyway, the Junkies reminisce about the decade that brought us chat rooms and All That and Law & Order (even Nicole, who wasn’t born until the decade was nearly over.) Alex compares the new Mortal Kombat to the classic ’95 version, and Hayley takes a look at how The Mighty Ducks became mighty d*cks and reflects on the surreal life of The Two Coreys, one of the saddest reality shows ever. Shauna brings up Caitlyn Jenner’s run for governor of California, and everyone decides which celebrity would make a better candidate. Alex is going to be that guy who votes for Kanye while Hayley says “yes she can” about Mariska Hargitay and Shauna is applying to be Lady Gaga’s campaign manager. No one is voting for Zac Efron’s chin implants, though. When you and your friends are planning a high priority beer run across State Boarders, there's one major rule: leave the problem children at home. Unfortunately, Kelso and Fez ..... and Leo are allowed in the car, anyway. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 23: Canadian Road Trip, in which Eric, Hyde, Kelso, Fez, and Leo get trapped in Canada, Jackie gets scammed by a fake modeling agency, and Red finds a way to annoy his wife with a VCR -- because why watch Roots when it's airing, when you can sit in silence and not record it and then not be able to watch it the next day?Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! Insecurity, recklessness, and just plain stupidity. Sounds like a recipe for my life right? Right, but it's also about Eric and Donna............and Jackie and Kelso..............and just Eric. Just....just Eric. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 22: "Eric's Drunken Tattoo" -- where Eric sake's up and his stupidity levels rise, Donna rightfully keeps her private thoughts...well, private, and Jackie is once again worried about her relationship with Kelso, just not in the way she things. Let's also not forget Fez's x-ray glasses he got for a dollar. Eighty years ago Fez went on a date with Donna. And we watched that date. And we took notes about that date. And then. We disappeared. But, now we're back! And we're talking about that date. And it's great. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain are talking about Season 3, Episode 21: Fez Dates Donna -- in which, Fez .................... dates Donna, Bob acts like a jackass about a garage, and Hyde and Eric start up a poll, betting on Jackie and Kelso's [because APPARENTLY THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER AND WE FORGOT] impending doomed relationship.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! Once again, we're given the evidence that Donna and Eric really need to get their shit together. Or the writers just should not have focused on them as much as have. It gets tiring, doesn't it? Seeing them fight every episode, like chill out fam. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss season 3, episode 20: "Holy Craps" -- in which Eric has a "horrible" fantasy of what a bad life with Donna will be like, Fez finally realizes how scary Caroline truly is, and Kitty has trouble keeping all of the boys in line at the church fundraiser.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! What's more uncomfortable than going to see a porn playing in the movie theater, by yourself? Going to see a porn playing in the movie theater, with your four best friends of course! In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 19: Eric's Naughty No No, in which Eric gets insecure about his lack of moves in the bedroom -- leading him to try something unexpected to Donna, that makes her beyond uncomfortable, Kitty's sister Paula comes into town after ten years to show off how much of a success that she is, and Hyde convinces Kelso that he needs to tell Jackie every. single. thing. that he's ever done wrong, because he's totally not harboring any residual feelings for her. Definitely not. That'd be crazy.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! Have you ever tried to test a significant other? Boiling down your relationship to a couple of questions and 'hopefully they got the right answer otherwise they're not the right person for me'? Well, then, you're Jackie Burkhart. Which, let's be real, there's nothing wrong with that, but overall, it's probably not a good sign of your previous and currently going relationship if you need to test them with words the poor person can't even spell. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 18: "The Trials of Michael Kelso" - in which Fez gets beat up by a rival school and spray painted on an uncomfortable place, Eric is oddly cold about the whole thing, Jackie takes it upon herself to try and test Michael in all areas of life -- even parenting ability and let's just say, that poor egg should've know it had it coming -- and Donna wants to be a lumberjack.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or comments to throw our way! You know, there are many things in this world that we have in common with Eric and Red Forman. More specifically: a lack of memory. (At least for Cheyenne.) In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain record a day late (but, honestly, who's shocked?) and discuss Season 3, Episode 17: "Kitty's Birthday (That's TODAY?!!)", in which Eric and Red act concerningly OOC in their disregard of Kitty and all that she does for them (then forget her birthday/then buy her shitty ass gifts from the gas station/then pretend to do housework that she'd ACTUALLY have to do later), Hyde gets to know Caroline and wishes that he didn't, and Kelso uses the age old tactic of manipulation to try and trick Jackie into thinking that they're just good 'ol friends, so that she'll want to sleep with him again. Because. That's not awful, at all. Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! You ever plan for a weekend getaway with your significant other and suddenly your parents show up right at the exact place -- one door over specifically -- that you are? Eric and Donna really can't catch a break it seems. But hey, at least there's tiny food and tiny booze. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 16: "Romantic Weekend" -- where Donna and Eric lie to their parents and spend the weekend in a hotel room, Kitty and Red do the same (how tiny is this town??), and poor Kelso can't get his man to stand at attention unless Jackie is around. Also, we wonder if Kahlua and Scotch really does taste like Dr. Pepper.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! "If you ever leave me, I'll kill you." .................... Is what a crazy psycho would say on their second date with a sweet foreign exchange student who's just trying to find love. And everyone thought Caroline would be so sweet. Well. Think again. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discus Season 3, Episode 15: Donna's Panties -- in which Fez's sweet Valentines Day takes an unexpected and dark turn, Jackie hates Kelso, until she doesn't, Kelso loves Laurie, until he doesn't, Donna and Eric argue about underwear .............................. again, and Kitty makes an inappropriate joke about Donna sitting on her sons' face! You know, usually when your significant other gets a really cool job that they actually love and are good at, it's best to be...oh, what's the word...supportive? Once again, we see Eric can be quite the piss baby about Donna having any kind of life outside of him, and frankly my dear, it stinks. Learn to trust your girl, man. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 14: "Radio Daze" - in which Hot Donna makes her first appearance at the radio station, Red's entire storyline is helping his slacker ex-employee get his job back, Hyde gets his new hot car, and Jackie is swayed by Kelso (yet again) and loses 500 bucks to him in the process. I think we can all agree, the best part about going out to dinner isn't the food. It's the conspiracy theories, the abandonment issues, that paranoia, the not paying, the marathon running, and the sepia toned freeze frame as you fling your desperate body out of the door -- on your way to dine and dash freedom. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 13 -- in which Kelso comes into sudden money, but doesn't plan on using that fresh cash to pay for the meal he invited everyone out to, Bob makes Red offering him a job a lot more annoying than it needs to be, and Fez essentially harasses his crush while she's at work.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! Don't you just sometimes wish you could be suave and silky instead of weird and nervous? Yeah, so does Fez. Poor boy finally really likes a girl and can't muster up one little ball to ask said girl out with help from his friends. But hey, we've all been there. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain are discussing Season 3, Episode 12: "Fez Gets the Girl" -- in which Donna wins free Zeppelin tickets (and must choose between the core four to take with her), Eric is a very good little worker, and Laurie somehow loses all ability to do hair weirdly enough given she seems to have been able to do hers just fine for the past 20 something years.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas or theories to throw our way! When UFO hunting with Michael Kelso remember one very important thing: do not go UFO hunting with Michael Kelso. Or Leo for that matter. Although, he will bring snacks! In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 11: Who Wants It More? In which Donna bans sex from Eric after he mocks her opinion on their homework assignment and Eric bans sex from Donna [because apparently, despite what she thinks will happen, that does work in reverse] in retaliation for her banning him, And they both end up suffering. First things first, never lie to your friends about where you'll be staying for the night just to get them to come along to a Jackie/Kelso reunion. No one wants to pee and bathe in the same trash can...long story. Second thing, never underestimate Michael Kelso when it comes to knowing pretty much everything about his ex-girlfriend even though he treated her like crap during the actual course of their relationships. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 10: "Ice Shack" - in which a unique version of 'The Newlywed Game' is played, Hyde gets pulled over for holding...dog food (because they couldn't give him an actual good story line), and the van somehow gets submerged in ice. In a rare moment of clarity in the mysterious timeline of That 70's Show, it's Christmas time in Point Place! Christmas antenna's, Christmas blankets, Christmas bananas, and predator firefighters. Tis the season to get sloppy, after all. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 9: Hyde's Christmas Rager -- in which we forget, until this moment, that Hyde's moved out of the Forman House and into his father's apartment, Bud's oblivious on how to be a parent, Kitty wants Hyde to come home, Eric gets trashed, and Jackie gets hit on by a man who dated her mother twenty years prior. The concept that women will stay at home with the children while the men are out with 9-5 jobs and bringing home the bacon is so antiquated it hurts my soul a little bit, as well as Donna's. But I'm also not saying that if that's what women want, and what they find enjoyable that they shouldn't want that, just like Kitty. Let's just say....the boys in this show should let the women be in charge of many, many things, especially their own bodies and their own lives. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 7: "Baby Fever" -- where Eric won't shut up about how great Donna will be as a stay at home mother even though that's not what she wants, Laurie falls in love with the new baby in the household and Kitty falls for the idea of having more, and Jackie and Kelso duke it out and the greatest who-owes-who basement showdown while Fez and Hyde watch from afar. So, say you find a cute pair of underwear in your boyfriend's (or girlfriends) car. What do you do? Go running around town asking everyone but the person in question? Yeah, that's what Donna does too. But hey, at least it's entertaining! In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 6: "Eric's Panties" -- in which Eric tries to make Donna jealous, Donna does absolutely nothing about this overt attempt at getting some kind of emotion out of her until she sees a pair of panties in the front seat of the Vista Cruiser, and 'what's that Lord? Riddle me this: when the Roller Disco Doo-Dah comes to Kenosha, who should you pick as your partner? Hyde, the guy you like that hates Disco and has already turned you down for partnering? Or Fez. The guy who's a wicked good dancer who really wants to compete with you and win? This is a tough one. Take your time, Jackie. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 5: Roller Disco -- in which Fez has all the right moves, until he contemplates taking advantage of a drunk girl, Kelso has all the wrong moves, until he has a really human moment with Donna ... before promptly trying to assault her and calling her a tease, and Earl decides to sue Red for wrongful termination. Deadly planes, killer crows, scrubber blows, and vertigo -- oh my! It's time to get our Hitchcock Parody on with That 70's Shows' second Halloween episode. In this episode Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 4: Too Old To Trick-Or-Treat, To Young To Die -- in which Fez shows off his ass, Donna's a little too boring for Eric, Kelso becomes a Forman, Danny's brother makes an appearance as an over zealous paper boy, and Cheyenne hasn't watched enough Hitchcock movies and gets confused about what parody is what. 1, 2, 3, 4...Hyde's father has been back for year and hasn't come knocking on the door. Dick. Who needs confrontation with the one and only son you abandoned when you can just hide away behind the wood a nasty bar? In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 3, Episode 3: "Hyde's Father" -- where Hyde finally confronts his terrible father, Red is glad the drama isn't about their fucking family for once, and Donna has a little trouble accepting the other two-dimensional women in Eric's life. Lessons from Eric Forman. Number One: When your father asks you if your best friend has ever pressured you into drugs, you confidently say that, no, you've never been pressured. Number Two: After you've unnecessarily blabbered that you also do drugs to try and save said friend from being kicked out of your house (even though your parents have already changed their minds) -- when your father asks you how long you've been doing them (after too long of a pause) you respond, "Ehhh a week." instead of, "Since I was, like, thirteen." To everyone's horror, after Hyde's arrest and Eric's big mouth, Red has decided that he's been to lenient on the kids underneath his care. You see, FUN TIME IS OVER. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain start Season 3, Episode 1: Reefer Madness -- in which Red doesn't bail Hyde out of jail, Jackie is proud of the fact that Steven got arrested for her, Bob has a weird hatred of Hyde despite the fact that he and Midge also smoke -- and swing, Red's afraid that Hyde's drug habit will negatively influence his children -- because he's oblivious, Donna gets shot and dies, and Leo drinks some tea.Exciting things are happening!Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, theories, or ideas to throw our way! Eric is allowed to streak in front of the President while wearing a Nixon mask -- even if he bumped his head or something and can't remember it happening. [We genuinely don't know if this is a character thing or a writer thing]. Donna, however, is not allowed to moon the camera at a pep rally. That is what we learn today, kids! You see, Eric owns her butt, apparently. Obviously. Makes total sense. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 26: Moon Over Point Place -- in which Eric is a prude, Donna is hilarious, Fez is mad at The White Man, Kelso loses some cash, Jackie signs her and Hyde up for Roller Disco, Hyde is super mean about it, Jackie buys weed from her maid to prove that she's not A Square, and Hyde goes to jail for it. Kitty will give you an option: you can choose to go to church and not be a sinner, or you can choose to not choose to not go to church and not be a sinner. When it comes to her and her family's ticket through those pearly white gates, it's really very simple: you go every Sunday. Unfortunately for her, her children don't quite see it that way. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 23: Holy Crap! In which Jackie's already mooning over Kelso again, Kelso grows a gross beard, Fez grows a beautiful one, Red doesn't think anything is his fault, Kitty's desperate for two grown people to attend church even though they don't want to, Pastor Dave tries to make religion cool and hip to get the kids to come to mass, Laurie tries to make Pastor Dave come in general, and Rain and I do our best to not insult anyone on this topic! When you cheat on your girlfriend with multiple people (the entire time you're dating them), make her feed and clothe you, and burn down her house -- you're allowed to be angry when she accepts a date with another person. Obviously. Makes sense. Even if she doesn't even consider it a real date and is just there for the food. So says Kelso, after all, and he is one bright cookie. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 22: Jackie Moves On -- in which Jackie does not move on, more fats jokes and fat shaming are made, Red pretends he's interested in jewelry, Kitty pretends that's normal, Laurie looses her biting wit, Eric burns himself, we wonder why the our recording session is so long, and Jackie turns into a blueberry.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, theories or ideas to throw our way! Rule number one for car sex: Never wear pants -- skirts are girls best friend. And with a friend like Jackie, you'd think Donna would've known that by now. Unfortunately for her, Donna doesn't just choose pants, she chooses to strip down all together. And so does Eric. On the side of the road. A rookie mistake, obviously, which results in a police officer busting them in all of their naked glory. The rub? He takes them home where Kitty and Red learn that their son has been "doin' it" for quite some time. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 19: "Parents Find Out" -- in which Donna can't tell her parents, Eric can't tell them either, Kitty has a breakdown over her baby boy growing up, Jackie's a pervert, Hyde and Kelso show off how shallow they are, Fez gets rewarded for being desperate enough to not care who he makes out with, with really hot gymnasts, and Red (A GROWN ASS MAN) can't make himself something to eat.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions, theories or ideas to throw our way! What do you do when you need new underwear? Make your mother feel bad about wanting to be your mother, apparently. What do you do when the foreigner who's obsessed with you focusses his attentions on a girl he insulted pretty badly in a previous episode, who should really love herself and get away from him? Freak out and contemplate running her out of town, apparently. [But, no, really Patty. They don't technically say this in this episode, but let's be real, when you're about to get down, you need to put on that raincoat. Let's really hope that Donna and Eric did just that, cause you know, in the heat of the moment and well-written wedding vows that aren't even for you, you might tend to forget things. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 16: "The First Time" - where vows are exchanged between the couple that should honestly just break up already, another couple learns what it means to be fashionable in Fall, and our third couple finally does the deed. You know how they say "size doesn't matter, just the way you use it"? Well, unfortunately everything about Eric's motion of the ocean certainly didn't help his first time situation with Donna. At least he tried...right? That's all that matters. But not according to Kelso who just wants to burn his ass to the ground just like he did with Jackie's house. There's nothing quite like a classy dinner party of eight at the Burkhart residence to really make Point Place shine. Only, this classy dinner doesn't have eight people. It has eighty. And there's a pant-less boy running around. And Hyde and Fez are drinking brandy out her fathers' crystal. And Eric's letting it all hang out. And Amy Adams is there! And Donna isn't being a great friend. Until she is. Oh, and Kelso sets the place on fire. Obviously. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 15: Burning Down the House. In which Jackie's "boring" quiet night of classical music and dignity immediately turns into the biggest party of the year, all courtesy of Kelso, who's so very sure that he's doing the right thing. "It's sort of like the same episode from season one, but different," the writers at That 70's Show probably said to each other as they patted each other on the backs. Red has an ego. Eric stands up for himself. Hyde gets strangely cruel. Laurie wants a relationship. And green m&m's make you horny. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 14: Red Gets a Job. In which Red and Eric both go for jobs at the newest chain store in town: Pricemart (much to Red's dismay), and the audience discovers the Formans' magical telephone that can be hung up and still have the person on the other end, after you remember to pick the phone back off the hook. A deer and some rabbits and even little pheasants - more like crows, but we'll forgive Fez and his soul sucking abilities. Hunting is a veritable sort of sport, it brings out the crazies and even the heart to hearts...in the middle of the forest...with guns in hand. Maybe not the best idea. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 13: "Hunting" -- where Red and the boys (plus Bob) go hunting and the girls stay back home and swindle some cold hard cash in a very poorly played game of poker. Did you ever have that special hiding spot for your extra cash as a kid? You know, extra crisp 'dolla-dolla' bills that you got as allowance for doing petty chores around the house and then you stuck them under your mattress or in the not-so-clever sock drawer? Well, if you're like Eric, you stuck it in the never forgotten -- and surprisingly still played -- Candy Land. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2, Episode 12: "Eric's Stash" -- where we learn that 'stash' means cash and not hash, Eric blames Hyde for her monetary troubles, and on the other end of the spectrum, Fez tries to sneak in and win the heart of the future Miss Dairy Princess.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70'spodcast on Twitter with any questions, ideas, or theories to throw our way! Red's another year older and he deserves a great day. Unfortunately, he's barely even woken up before the roof starts caving in. Literally. It falls apart on top of him and Kitty's naked body. It's a rough start and it only gets worse. Bad presents, bad friends, bad dinner outing, bad marriage counselors. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2 Episode 10: Red's Birthday, in which Bob and Midge continue to make the world uncomfortable and Donna can't remember that she does, in fact, talk about her family struggles with anyone with ears. But, we get everyone's points of view, even if right and wrong changes with each scene.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that 70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions or theories or ideas to throw our way! Laurie Lies. Everyone knows that. Everyone but Red, of course, who still believes that his baby girl is his Baby Girl. [But, not like that.] So, when she decides it's time to move out of the house into an apartment with her girlfriends, he's worried, but he believes her. Everyone else? Not so much. And Laurie proves them right, when Eric and Red turn up outside her front door and some man answers. A married man. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2 Episode 11: Laurie Moves Out, in which Laurie is gone for less than a weekend, Hyde moves in upstairs for less than a weekend, Jackie grows suspicious of Kelso's relationship with Laurie ... for less than a weekend, Red is angry with Laurie for the first time in her life ...... for less than a weekend, and Laurie has the crispy-est ugly hair we've ever seen and we don't have any clue why.Contact us at that70spodcast@gmail.com, that 70spodcast.tumblr.com, and @that70spodcast on Twitter with any questions or theories or ideas to throw our way! Did you ever have a rebellious phase in high school, acting out just to get your parents attention? Well, high school you would fit in with Donna in this one sole episode where she's completely changed everything about herself, including being straight up and talking to her parents. Granted, they're single and swingers now (swingles?) so they don't have much time to be decent parents. So of course, might as well take up smoking and failing your classes, right? That's always oh so smart. In this episode, Cheyenne and Rain discuss Season 2 Episode 9: "Eric Gets Suspended" -- where Eric takes the fall for Donna's gross menthol cigarettes, Eric and Kitty take their punishment a bit too far, and Hyde acts like a grade a douche so no wonder no one wants to go home with him.
