He was convicted of murder several years later and given the maximum sentence—25 years to life in prison—on top of three additional years for two other convictions. From behind bars, he began reckoning with his crime through in-prison writing workshops and soon fell in love with journalism. 55 year old KPMG executive Alan White was last seen on October 22, 2020, getting gas at a RaceTrac station in Dallas. CCTV captured his car leaving the station and heading toward his home but Alan never made it back. His Porsche was found a week later in a known dumping area, with the keys and Alan's phone still inside. The following year, Alan's remains were discovered not far from where the vehicle had been left.
