As a new year begins, many people carry regret, disappointment, or anxiety from what they didn’t accomplish in the past year. Yet Scripture invites us to move forward with hope, not fear. Philippians 1:6 reminds us that God is faithful to complete the good work He began in us. He does not call us to dwell on the past, but to trust His power to renew, restore, and make all things new. God’s newness isn’t wishful thinking—it’s His promise. No matter what the previous year looked like, He is still working, still transforming, and still bringing new life and purpose as we step into the year ahead. Today’s Bible Verse: Philippians 1:6 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/philippians/1-6.html“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Main Takeaways You’ll learn why God doesn’t want you living in regret or replaying past failures. Discover how Philippians 1:6 gives confidence that God completes what He starts. Understand how Scripture repeatedly calls believers to stop looking back and press forward. Reflect on how God promises to do new things—even when we can’t yet perceive them. Be encouraged that your future is shaped by God’s renewal, not your past disappointments. Bible Verse References Philippians 1:6 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/philippians/1-6.html Luke 9:62 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/luke/9-62.html Philippians 3:13 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/philippians/3-13.html Isaiah 43:18 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/isaiah/43-18.html Ezekiel 36:26 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/ezekiel/36-26.html Isaiah 42:9 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/isaiah/42-9.html Isaiah 43:19 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/isaiah/43-19.html 2 Corinthians 5:17 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/2-corinthians/5-17.html Revelation 21:5 – https://www.biblestudytools.com/revelation/21-5.html Your Daily Prayer Dear Father, thank You for Your promise to make all things new. Help me release the regrets, disappointments, and unfinished plans of the past year into Your hands. Strengthen my heart to look forward with hope, trusting that You will complete the good work You began in me. Fr. Mike dives into the fall of Babylon described in Revelation 18, pointing out how several images and expressions of this key chapter are taken from the judgmental oracles in the old testament, particularly those from the prophet Jeremiah. Fr. Mike also emphasizes the reality of God's judgment, the resurrection of the dead, and how Christ's sacrifice is presented to God in the heavenly sanctuary once and for all. Country artist Chris Lane joins Brooke Taylor on The Upload for a candid, faith-filled conversation about the unexpected injuries, detours, and divine redirection that shaped his life long before music stardom. Chris opens up about tearing his ACL in high school—and again in college—an experience that sidelined his dreams of playing sports but sparked a life-changing relationship with the Lord. What felt like devastation at the time became the quiet space God used to draw him close, heal his heart, and prepare him for a future he couldn’t yet see. Now a husband, dad, and touring musician, Chris shares honestly about this new season where his time feels “wrecked”—changing diapers at home, performing on the road, and fighting to keep Jesus at the center of it all. He talks about the conviction he feels to carve out time with God, how fatherhood has deepened his understanding of Christ’s love, and how marriage wasn’t even on his radar until he met his wife, Lauren. Their shared faith became the foundation of their relationship—especially significant given Lauren’s upbringing in Portland, one of the least churched major cities in America. Chris also gets real about navigating fame in an industry that can inflate the ego. He talks about praying for humility, wanting success but not at the cost of his walk with Christ, and the ways God is teaching him patience in every area of life.

In this episode, Tony is joined by Ed Mabrie and Joel Thomas for a direct refutation of Little Season theology, a teaching that claims Satan has already been loosed and end-times prophecy is unfolding in a radically redefined way. Together, they dismantle the core claims of the movement by walking carefully through Scripture, exposing where the theory stretches biblical text, ignores historical context, and creates confusion about Christ's victory, Satan's binding, and the nature of the age we are living in. Rather than chasing speculative timelines, the conversation calls believers back to sound doctrine, biblical literacy, and discernment in an era flooded with persuasive but unstable teachings. This is a grounded, Scripture-first response to a growing movement, urging Christians to test every doctrine and remain anchored in truth rather than trend. Jess Phoenix was a professional witch with a massive online following when things started unraveling—mental torment, sleep paralysis, her children being harassed by spirits, and a growing sense that something was deeply wrong. Then came the C-section that nearly killed her. She lost three and a half liters of blood, left her body, and heard a voice say, "Believe me now." She survived, but didn't convert—not yet. Months later, consumed by rage after being betrayed, she sat at a table covered in bones doing the darkest magic she'd ever attempted. That's when a light walked into her room at 2 AM and said two words: "I am." The next day, while her son watched Prince of Egypt, she heard Moses ask the burning bush its name. Same answer. She dropped to her knees. Jess had the gift—she could see spirits, know things about strangers, predict the future with terrifying accuracy. She had a two-year waitlist for readings. Names, dates, details about complete strangers—she was never wrong. But she wasn't tapping into the divine. She was receiving a file, handed to her by familiar spirits—demons that have followed you around since childhood, collecting every trauma, every secret, every detail of your life. When they feed that information to a psychic, you trust her. And when she speaks a curse over your future, you accept it. That's how it works. In this episode, Jess shares her full journey from successful UK witch to follower of Jesus and holds nothing back. She explains how the occult actually operates, from entry-level manifesting to dark rituals. She talks about seeing a mermaid at fifteen, the false Jesus deceiving believers, the Kundalini spirit masquerading as the Holy Spirit, and the battle she didn't expect—religious Christians attacking her for her appearance, her language, her lack of church membership. Whether you're deep in the church or deep in the occult, this one will challenge something you believe. True freedom is often mistaken for doing whatever we want, but Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar explore how Scripture defines it as living to glorify God and walking in righteousness. The guys explain that the idol of freedom arises when good things are taken too far, leading people to disobey God's commands and remain enslaved to sin, passions, and self-rule. They highlight that civil liberties do not equal spiritual freedom and that true liberty comes from surrendering daily to Christ, aligning desires with His will, and embracing the unique path He has for each believer. The guys also examine how personal freedom impacts others, showing that sin acts like a dictator and that genuine liberty is doing what is right regardless of opinions or circumstances. They urge listeners to review their lives, yield to the fruit of the Spirit instead of the flesh, and live openly without hidden agendas. Ultimately, the guys remind believers that freedom is relational and transformative, calling them to walk in the light, resist modern distortions of liberty, and continually turn back to the Lord, who alone sets them free.Send us a textThanks for listening! Honoring God with our time begins by going to Him first—listening, waiting, and trusting His direction. Even when clarity feels delayed, we can rest in the confidence that God is at work and will guide each step as we surrender our plans to Him. Main Takeaways You’ll learn why discerning how to spend your time begins with seeking God’s wisdom. Discover how waiting on God can sometimes be the most faithful response. Understand why uncertainty doesn’t mean failure, but often invites deeper trust. Reflect on how God works through both action and stillness to accomplish His will. Be encouraged that when you are in Christ, God redeems and guides every moment. Forgiving those who have hurt us is a challenging call. Fr. Mike explains what it means to "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." We learn that forgiveness and reconciliation are not the same thing and that we can transform our hurt into intercession with God's grace. We ask the Lord to soften our hearts so that they may remain open to loving and forgiving others. Today's readings are Catechism paragraphs 2838-2845. I think, in some ways, it tells the whole spiritual life: our infinite longing that will never be satisfied here below; the following of beautiful but ambiguous signs in our quest for God; and the revelation that the one we seek has all along been seeking us—and, in the fullness of time, has come in person to meet us.

In this Christmas teaching, Francis Chan invites us to slow down and truly adore Jesus. To not just believe in Him, but respond to the God who first came after us. Reflecting on the meaning of ”Emmanuel, God with us,” Francis explains how God has always been the initiator: creating humanity, pursuing us after the fall, dwelling among His people, sending His Son, and ultimately placing His Spirit within us. From the garden to the manger to the indwelling Holy Spirit, the story of Christmas is the story of a God who wants to be with us. This message reframes prayer, worship, and even repentance, not as efforts to earn God's attention, but as responses to His mercy, grace, and relentless love. As we celebrate Christmas, we're reminded that God is near, He is knocking, and He longs to pour His love into our hearts.
