This Episode discusses the passing of South Carolina Native Chadwick Boseman AKA Mr Black Panther. His untimely death was another hit to the African American Community as he meant so much to so many people. Him not disclosing his 5 year battle with cancer to fans or people he's worked along side with, gave a different perspective and should indeed teach a few life lessons best discussed with Black Momma. So let's sit down and talk about it together.
Chadwick Boseman On The Essential Element Of Purpose (Patreon Sample, Ep. 424): Last week, the American actor and star of Black Panther Chadwick Boseman passed away from Colon Cancer. To many, he was much more than a face on the big screen. He was a person who found his purpose, fulfilled that purpose valiantly, and wasn't afraid to speak up for what he thought was right. I don't know a lot about Chadwick Boseman, and he's someone I expect to learn more about in the coming months after his passing. Yesterday, I listened to the commencement speech he gave in front of his alma mater at Howard University, and two lines stuck out to me. As someone who has found a purpose in podcasting and spreading good conversation, I feel fulfilled in what I do. And I want as many people as possible to feel that feeling of fulfilling their purpose in whatever the pursuit may be. If you find yourself without a clear purpose, listen to these two lines from Chadwick Boseman I'm about to get into. I'm going to link the full commencement address in the podcast description. And if you have a clear purpose, listen to these lines to strengthen your resolve in what you are meant to do with your time on earth. is talking "Nerd News" and there's a lot to cover: the death of Black Panther Chadwick Boseman, problems with the direction of the MCU, problems with the direction of the Star Wars franchise and, oh yeah, problems with the direction of the Star Trek franchise. Plus, of course, more politics.
First things first, RIP Chadwick Boseman. We get it into his impact on the film industry, his impact on us, and the gut wrench that comes with a passing like this. We also go into the iconic Marvel movie, Black Panther. The first black MCU film ever, along with Marvel's first show of diversity and representation. Black director and a Black cast, Black Panther really broke boundaries with not only having an all Black MCU film, but diverting the typical Marvel tropes, along with a moving and relevant story that comes with commentary about current social issues. We also go into our favorite parts and the importance of representation in popular media. *Disclaimer: our audio must have felt the emotional sadness of this episode with us because some parts of the audio have technical difficulties.* --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/watch-with-sound/support

(0:00) Show Open: 2020 Killed an Avenger "Black Panther" Star Chadwick Boseman Died on Friday CHADWICK BOSEMAN, a.k.a. "Black Panther", died of complications from colon cancer on Friday. He was only 43. He was diagnosed four years ago, but never revealed it publicly. That means that he was fighting cancer while filming "Black Panther" and the last two "Avengers" movies. The timing of Chadwick's death was also coincidental. He died on Major League Baseball's "Jackie Robinson Day," and his first starring role was playing Jackie in the 2013 movie "42". Jackie Robinson Day was supposed to be April 15th, but it was previously rescheduled because COVID-19 delayed the start of the baseball season. Chadwick posted a video about Jackie Robinson Day back in April . . . and some fans were concerned because he looked a lot thinner than he has in the past. And Friday was also the birthday of legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby, who was the first person to draw Black Panther. Kirby died in 1994, but Friday would've been his 103rd birthday Chadwick may have hinted at his diagnosis in 2017, when an interviewer said "you've been through the wringer," and he responded, quote, "Oh, you don't even know. You have no idea. One day, I'll live to tell the story." (10:00) Entertainment News BELLA THORNE apologized to her fellow OnlyFans creators, because she made so much money off the site that it put a cap on how much people can earn. COURTNEY STODDEN would like to know why no one stepped in and stopped her from marrying a 51-year-old man when she was 16. (23:05) LOL Headline Brian Austin Green open to idea of reuniting with Megan Fox (29:15) "Good News" Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak Have you taken on any fun projects while you've been stuck at home? A woodworker in Ohio made a squirrel feeder that looks like a bar. It's got seven types of nuts "on tap," and the internet loves it. So he patented the design, and now he's selling them for $200 a pop. A mom in Florida was reunited with her two-year-old daughter after five months apart. She went to Panama with her grandmother to visit relatives in early March, and they got stuck there. They finally got home earlier this month. A guy in Utah was getting annoyed that the motion sensor on his garage kept going off at night. It turned out a little kid was riding his bike up into his driveway. But instead of telling him to stop, he drew a mini racetrack in chalk. So now more kids use it. A few years ago, a woman in Virginia started making hand-painted signs that say "Be Kind" and giving them out for free. And with the help of volunteers, she's made 2,000 of them since March. A psychologist at Oxford says your friendships won't suffer long-term because of the crisis. Your friend group might feel smaller right now . . . and we all might be a little more socially awkward when things first open up. But he says most friendships will rebound. And bonds between family members will stay just as strong as they were. (39:55) Dumbass of the Day A Guy Steals a School Bus and Drives It Home . . . 275 Miles Away A guy in Missouri reported for jury duty last week but refused to wear a mask . . . so he was put in jail for contempt of court. And while he was there, the jail had a 55-person coronavirus outbreak. There's no word if he caught it or not. A woman in Utah is going to prison for buying bacteria off the dark web to make her sick roommate even sicker. Parents of Girl, 12, Sneak Her Into Casino, Let Her Gamble (50:40) Pumping Up An Adult Toy Company in Japan Makes a Dumbbell You Can Also Have Sex With An adult toy company in Japan called Tenga just created a new product: A dumbbell you can also have sex with. (So they just raised the stakes, Shake Weight.) The product is a nine-pound metal cylinder that's indented a bit in the middle so you can grip it for curls and other weight training exercises. But it's also got a hole in the bottom, where you insert one of Tenga's love toys that resemble lady parts . . . so in between your sets, you can get-it-on with your dumbbells. They're selling them for $520 EACH . . . and if you really want one, they'll ship it to you from Japan. (Sora News 24) (Here's a picture of the product and a safe-for-work picture of exercises.) Leggings for men are becoming more popular, so manufacturers are trying to figure out how they can do a better job hiding men's BULGES in them . . . like building in jockstraps. Just wanted to send my love during what is a difficult time for all movie & Marvel lovers. The loss of Chadwick Boseman is tragic and has sent ripples across the world showing how far his reach as not only T'Challa but just as an amazing actor and human has gone. This is especially true for the black community who have suffered far too much loss and trauma this year. I hope that everyone who has been touched by this can find time to heal and remember him for the incredibly moving, intelligent and talented person that he was. This all being said, I would like to leave you with a question, what can we as a movie community do to ensure we allow Chadwick's legacy to live on? Much love boys!

Have fun.
We resume our sequel to our previous Countdown to Endgame series by discussing the events and developments of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (Tom Holland), and their cultural impact that affects readers and viewers alike even today. Debatable one of the most culturally impactful character to debuts on the big screen as well as one of the most iconic, relatable, and morally guiding characters within the MCU we address our favorite scenes. Finally, we make our predictions as to what role they could play in Avengers: Endgame! As well as their importance to the mcu as a whole. #mcu #podcast #marvel #tomholland #spiderman #spidermanhomecoming #blackpanther #wakanda #wakandaforever #thevulture #michealkeeton #zendaya #chadwickboseman #endgame #tktomfoolery
We love "Black Panther," but we're kind of stunned it has an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. We want to believe Ryan Coogler's film was nominated just by being great, but as Keith puts it: "Don't give us handouts, Oscars."Are Oscar voters making up for past snubs of superhero films, like "Dark Knight"? Or past snubs of African-American films? Could it be that Oscar voters simply love "Black Panther" as much as we do?With nearly a year of hindsight, we also talk the true meaning of "Black Panther." The key figure may not be Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), but rather his antagonist, Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan). Does Killmonger symbolize radical revolutionaries, as it might appear at first glance? Or is "Black Panther" really a film about survivor's remorse? If you like this, please share it with someone else who loves Black Panther. And review us on iTunes to tell us what you think about the Oscar nomination. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Join us in part 2 of our 74th episode as we explore the lives or deaths of some freshly infinity gauntlet fisted heroes in Avengers: Infinity Wars. We give a detailed look at how Tony Stark(Robert Downy Jr.) comes up with new beard patterns using advanced algorithms and how to profit from damage control of his premonition of Thanos played by the tombstone mustache Josh Brolin fisting half the world and abducting everyone’s daughter in the process .Although we don’t know how people have kids in the MCU when it seems the heroes that like each other are either not sure of having sex each other or physically can’t have sex with each other. Whether it’s because they have a giant hulk member, your a living AI, saving your virginity, or you just have low T. We can assume other than Stan Lee, no other old man in Marvel is getting much action in the MCU. As pepper annoys the crap out of him and he’s telling her that he added nanno technology to his pathetic sperm and he still doesn’t want to have a kid with her, it merely grosses him out in his dreams turning them to nightmares at the though of her pregnant. We also tap in to his weird relationship with spider-man as a giant sub plot to plow his Aunt. Speaking of Spider-Man (Tom Holland), he once again gets pulled away from his Filipino high school to deal with some Russo Brothers marinara swirling italian greasy shaky cam in his route to becoming an avenchi de italiano. Meanwhile Bruce Banner(Mark Ruffalo) has the type of Hulk constipation that only Wong’s type of food can release. Once again Dr. Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch) has his dong on Wong’s wong and just like the bored and boring hologramic sorcerer magicians they are , their argument is over who can be more petty over money. Black Panther(Chadwick Boseman) uses the nanite technology to show his junk off to the other hero’s while still looking like a grown man in a cat suit. Captain America(Chris Evans) is still the greatest man alive, and makes us all proud to be Americans. All this and more slightly sexual unnecessary overtones are used to try and defeat the creepy uncle Thanos and stop infinity glove from fisting each and every one of them to paper machete. Can you turn a dwarf into a giant dwarf and he’ll still be equally handicapped? Turns out you can. Thor is trying to piece his life together after he realizes his white trash father consisting of an oppressive father, forgetful mother, genderless brother (Loki), and heroine selling black british friend are dead. Quill is realizing he is a still a fat white man with no self-esteem no matter how many home gym systems and ket diets he uses. Oh yeah and guardians of the galaxy are in it. All this and more in our ridiculously detailed breakdown. Go back and listen to our Part 1 episode which includes our conclusion to the XXXtentacion legacy, as well as our breakdown of Black Panther(Ep.73). Our completed series Macaulay Culkin Home Alone (Ep. 71 and 72). Planet of the Apes (Ep. 63-66), Transformers (Ep. 57-61), Pirates of the Caribbean (Ep. 52-56), Fast and the Furious (Ep. 44-51), X-Men (Ep. 33-43), Star Wars (Ep. 24-31, 70), Harry Potter (Ep. 15-23), and MCU (Ep. 1-14 and 62, 67,68,73). Darren’s got a new hat, Anthony’s curling allegiances get tested, and somewhere Fergie is still singing the Star-Spangled Banner. Reviews include, Ryan Coogler’s Marvel superhit, ‘Black Panther’ (Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Daniel Kaluuya), and Sally Potter’s experimental joint, ‘Party’ (Patricia Clarkson, Timothy Spall, Kristin Scott Thomas, Cillian Murphy). Letitia Wright has our hearts, one of us abandons a movie, and we watch two people tongue-bang during happy hour.

It's the biggest ensemble of heroes yet with Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) face off. New characters join the fight in Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and the MCU rebooted Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
