In this episode, I'm joined once again by one of my business partners, Conar Tracey, to discuss our monthly recurring webinar known as the "Scottish Rental Revolution."The "Scottish Rental Revolution" is a transformative educational platform that offers in-depth insights into how you can establish a highly profitable buy-to-let property portfolio in Scotland, all without the need for your own money!Since the start of REWD Group, we have built up a residential Buy-To-Let portfolio of over 250 properties across Scotland, with a £13.5m asset value and a gross monthly rent roll of over £100,000. We have achieved this level of growth by utilising funding from private individuals as well as commercial banks. O Código Brasileiro de Autorregulamentação Publicitária nasceu de uma ameaça ao setor da publicidade: no final dos anos 70, o governo federal pensava em sancionar uma lei criando uma espécie de censura prévia à propaganda. Com ele surge em 1980 o Conselho Nacional de Autorregulamentação Publicitária, o CONAR. O Conar fiscaliza a ética da propaganda comercial veiculada no Brasil. Ele segue as disposições do Código Brasileiro de Autorregulamentação Publicitária e tem como principal objetivo evitar a veiculação de anúncios e campanhas de conteúdo enganoso, ofensivo, abusivo ou que desrespeitam, entre outros, a leal concorrência entre anunciantes. O Conar atende a denúncias de consumidores, autoridades, dos seus associados ou ainda formuladas pela própria diretoria. Feita a denúncia, o Conselho de Ética do Conar - o órgão soberano na fiscalização, julgamento e deliberação no que se relaciona à obediência e cumprimento do disposto no Código - se reúne e a julga, garantindo amplo direito de defesa ao acusado. O Conselho de Ética está dividido em oito Câmaras, sediadas em São Paulo, Rio, Brasília, Porto Alegre e Recife e é formado por 180 conselheiros, entre efetivos e suplentes, recrutados entre profissionais de publicidade de todas as áreas e representantes da sociedade civil. A palha de aço da Bombril, a ex-famosa Krespinha, foi condenada pelo Conar - Conselho de Auto Regulamentação publicitária - , que recebeu quase duas mil reclamações de consumidores. O caso aconteceu em junho. A Bombril decidiu dar uma turbinada na marca anunciando investimento em média. Só que imediatamente após o anúncio, choveram acusações de racismo contra a empresa. E com razão, a marca é infeliz. E não vale o argumento de que existe há 70 anos. Era racista a época e segue sendo agora. A Bombril, em meio a efervescência da polêmica, não discutiu. Sensatamente, desculpou-se e retirou a marca de seu portfólio. E não falou-se mais a respeito. O caso e a marca voltaram à tona porque somente agora foi julgado pelo CONAR. Sua decisão serve de referência para outras empresas, é como uma jurisprudência.
