On this episode of Tradeswork: The Rocky Mountain Mechanical Contractors Association Podcast, we welcome our very own Executive Director, Randy Drennen. With his feet underneath him more since taking the role of Executive Director, Randy finally sits in the hot seat where Host Jon Ekstrom gets to know him a lot better. Here are some of the questions you can expect to be answered on this show: What was Randy's career path that led his arrival as Executive Director of RMMCA? Elevator pitch: Why should your average person care about the skilled trades? What has been the most surprising thing he's learned during his tenure? Whenever his time leading the organization is up - which we hope is not for a very long time - what will he want people to remember about him? You'll get to know Randy a lot better in this episode as we learn a lot about his tastes: The ultimate concert he would throw himself? What's on his book and DVD shelves? Professional athlete whose brain he'd like to peek into? As a kid, what did he want to be when he grew up? We think you'll enjoy this fun, off-kilter chat and walk away knowing our leader better than you did before listening. This episode is available on podcatchers everywhere. How do we pray for someone we love? Can we effectively pray for those who are struggling? What should we ask the Lord for when we ourselves are in need?Often  our prayers become solely petitions for what we want rather than embracing God's plan and purposes. While the Lord cares for the desires of our hearts, intercession is praying God's heart back to Him. Intercession moves us past our own inclinations and towards the Lord's kingdom on earth.Join Rachel Lozano, Ann Stevens, and Donna Drennen as they discuss the practicalities and wonders of intercession. Listen as they share how they have powerfully experienced the Father's heart in interceding for others. Hear about some amazing answered prayers!"Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."Romans 8:34Be inspired to enter into a prayer bigger than yourself and grow in praying the Lord's heart for His people. They fit well into therapy in terms of listening and really hearing and honoring a person's dignity and their story. The power of forgiveness is so essential and is being talked about more and more in therapeutic settings.  'Negative thought patterns' might be the way we as therapists would refer to lies and making vows.  Then identity issues, which are so central, again as I shared, if I saw myself as an orphan-that was going to affect my entire perception of myself, my relationships... if you're believing something about yourself that's so wrong and untrue, it's obviously going to affect your whole life."Be blessed as you hear personal and clinical testimonies of God's incredible healing power- you won't want to miss this episode!

Business concepts can come from all over, and for Mary, Nourish formed based off of an idea she got from working at a gym. Her advice to new business owners: Expect the unexpected. How Nourish maintains freshness in their supply chain: - Everything starts in a raw state from local resources - Refrigeration check points and inspections to meet quality standards - Abide by the Critical Control Plan that ensures safety each step of the way from raw product to the finished good. With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we see food safety and general hygiene in a new light which makes the process of shopping, cleaning, and preparing food daunting. As Nourish follows strict precautions, they can ease the need to expose yourself to germs, all while providing healthy and delicious meals that arrive at your doorstep ready to be consumed! How to enjoy Nourish: - They offer four different plans that range in differing opportunities based on your needs - Each week, explore 10 to 12 different entrées with varying profiles and proteins that will satisfy a complete balance of protein, carbs, and fats - You can order the meals all around the country with easy delivery two times a week!
