Stephanie is better at this than I am, Regina is better at this than I am, you know, so there was already a sense of like, if we came together, we could split the work in that way.” (Jocelyn)“We are planning on bringing everything under the one Tuyyo brand.” (Stefanie)“We're moving towards standardizing our supply chain operations. It's been a constant conversation and communication with suppliers, both in the US and in Mexico to see what's going to be the best way to do it.“ (Regina)“As of right now, [cost of goods optimization has] been at least 35%, which is it's been a big amount. It would just solve so many issues. And with all of the problems that we have between preventable diseases and healthcare systems that don't work for the people, it goes beyond justice for the farmer, but justice for everybody in the food chain.” (Stefanie)“I think that that in an ideal world there are policies put in place that are protecting people [by regulating] what is allowed and what isn't allowed in our food system. And products, especially those we give to children, that allow us to really reshape our palates and create shortcuts for cooking without taking the cooking part away because that's an basic survival life skill that most people should have and it empowers people to like know what's in their food, and how to nourish their families.” (Jocelyn)Links:Stefanie Garcia Turner on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/stefanie-garcia-turner/Jocelyn Ramirez on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jocelyncramirez77/Regina Trillo on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/regina-trillo-a5055711/Tuyyo - https://tuyyofoods.com/Tuyyo on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/tuyyofoods/Tuyyo on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/tuyyofoods/Tuyyo on Pinterest - https://www.pinterest.com/tuyyofoods/Tuyyo on TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@tuyyofoodsTuyyo on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4b_-VIdL7Yl7UQb91y5Vow…Tuyyo Wefunder - Coming soon……Todo Verde (website will go away soon) - https://todoverde.org/Nemi (website will go away soon) - https://neminative.com/…Brands for a Better World Episode Archive - http://brandsforabetterworld.com/Brands for a Better World on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/brand-for-a-better-world/Modern Species - https://modernspecies.com/Modern Species on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/modern-species/Gage Mitchell on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/gagemitchell/…Print Magazine Design Podcasts - https://www.printmag.com/categories/printcast/…Heritage Radio Network - https://heritageradionetwork.org/Heritage Radio Network on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/heritage-radio-network/posts/Heritage Radio Network on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/HeritageRadioNetworkHeritage Radio Network on X - https://x.com/Heritage_RadioHeritage Radio Network on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/heritage_radio/Heritage Radio Network on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@heritage_radioTimestamps: 0:00 - Introduction of guests and their brands2:11 - The idea of merging to amplify Latin American food culture3:14 - The role of Jocelyn as a connector4:14 - Initial conversations and alignment of goals5:09 - Personality tests and understanding team dynamics6:18 - Personal insights and alignment of values7:19 - Confirmation of shared vision and responsibilities8:36 - Expanding vision and impact9:23 - Egoless collaboration and shared goals10:16 - Overcoming personal challenges in the merger process11:33 - Open communication and external support12:47 - Technical adjustments during recording13:00 - Introduction and alignment of values and vision13:29 - Discussion on dividing responsibilities among the founders13:49 - Initial retreat and mission alignment14:19 - Specific roles and responsibilities based on skills15:16 - Transitioning responsibilities before the merger15:57 - The natural fit of the founders' skills16:18 - Pre-existing relationships and collaboration17:27 - Importance of enjoying the process and having fun19:20 - Branding and unifying product lines under Tuyo Foods20:11 - Transition phase and retail placement21:11 - Marketing strategies and community engagement22:34 - Plans for easing the transition on retail shelves23:28 - Supply chain synergies and manufacturing efficiencies25:12 - Cost reduction strategies and shared resources26:54 - New shared vision and broader goals27:39 - Community focus and brand representation29:28 - Expanding Latin American food representation31:01 - Becoming a go-to platform for Latin foods33:07 - Benefits and opportunities unlocked by the merger36:30 - Challenges and unresolved issues37:37 - Fundraising and rebranding costs38:20 - Advice for other founders considering mergers41:58 - Future of the industry and collaboration45:26 - Fun questions about favorite Latin American foods53:51 - Book recommendations and personal insights60:10 - Influential voices and brands to watch65:17 - Vision of a more representative, equitable, and sustainable food system71:13 - Upcoming plans and ways to connect with Tuyo FoodsFor more insights on food innovation, community building, and scaling purpose-driven brands, subscribe and stay tuned for future episodes.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

EP #329 - The Egoless Revolution, an interview with visionary author, Cynthia Rivard I'm truly grateful to welcome visionary author Cynthia Rivard to Empowering Chats. Her latest book, Hope for a New Era – Turning the Tide: Love & Leadership through Turbulent Times, is both timely and transformational. She has a powerful quote at the beginning of her book that reads: “When we discover the beauty of new perspectives, our world opens up—we develop more compassion and experience more peace and love.” Cynthia defines hope as faith in action. She emphasizes the importance of trusting deeply—and then taking meaningful steps. Through action, we create both hope and empowerment. She speaks of spiritual awakening as the intentional development of inner knowing—allowing yourself to be guided by the divinity within. She reminds us: Now is our time. We must co-create a better world, act as responsible stewards of the planet, and rise to the moment with courage. Cynthia acknowledges how overwhelming it can feel—there's so much that needs rebuilding, and it's easy to get stuck. Her advice: Tap into your divine wisdom and take one step at a time. She goes on to say, "Your impact doesn't have to be global—what matters is what you can do within your sphere of influence . . . acts rooted in love and joy ripple outward." She calls for unity of purpose, asking us to set aside ego and judgment to create real solutions. True progress, she says, requires diverse perspectives. “If we all think alike, we stay stuck. Change is constant, but we must guide it—not passively let it happen to us.” We both agree that understanding builds compassion—and compassion is what moves the world forward. Moshe's Mission: Humility Is Never About Self-Bashing; It Is Seeing Yourself as a Channel for Infinity - Weekly Women's Class: This class was presented on Tuesday, 21 Teves, 5785, January 21, 2025, Parshas Vaera, at Bais Medrash Ohr Chaim in Monsey, NY. Why did Amram marry his aunt, a relationship that would be later forbidden? Moshe, who gave the Torah, was born from this flawed union? Why did Moshe, the humblest of men, say to G-d he is ready to be priest and king? Why was Saul rebuked for arrogance when he actually refused to be king and rejected the power? Why did Moshe tell Hashem, "Who am I?" Did he think G-d did not know him well? The class delves into the mechanism to liberate ourselves from being captive to the inner voices of fear, anxiety, insecurity, and the need for validation—by energetically discovering how we are channels for infinity. We discuss what makes a good therapist, rabbi, teacher, leader, and mentor. When therapists or rabbis are not worked out emotionally, they can wreak havoc. Great teachers, healers, and leaders are mirrors, reflecting back to you who you really are. When these mirrors are broken, you start believing you are broken, and you become dependent rather than confident and self-reliant.

From chasing down autographs and selling them, to running a real estate team, the same things make a good partnership tick. A unified vision and egoless collaboration are the key to making it last.   Unfortunately, too many people jump into a partnership thinking only about how it will boost production and income. If you're selling a lot that means you'll be a powerful force together, right? Wrong! Those people find out how hard it is to keep something going on such a flimsy foundation.   How did Tommy Choi and Josh Weinberg create the basis for a successful partnership way back in college?   In the episode, the co-team leaders share how they built their business and all their best stories from collective autographs over the years.   We have a unified vision, egoless collaboration and we've dug a deep moat around our friendship. Without those 3 things, it's hard to have a partnership. -Tommy Choi    Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode    -Way bigger than an autograph  From camping out to meet Britney Spears to getting an autograph from Kobe, why is the journey to the autograph more important than the signature itself?    -Friendship trumps business  What's the one decision Tommy and Josh made early on that has set their partnership up for success?    -Team doesn't equal partnership What do so many people in real estate get so wrong about partnering up and working collaboratively?     Guest Bio   Tommy Choi and Josh Winberg are co-founders of Weinberg Choi Residential. Josh Weinberg and Tommy Choi met at Bradley University in 2000. Shortly after they met, they knew they would to go into business together because their values aligned and they had a shared passion for real estate. In 2007, Josh and Tommy started Weinberg Choi Residential, a full service residential real estate brokerage, that focuses on buying, selling, leasing, and real estate investments. The Weinberg Choi Team views their clients as friends, and they treat them with that amount of care. They have built a strong reputation in the industry for their honesty, knowledge, and reliability. It's real estate the right way.   The Weinberg Choi Team is also passionate about community involvement through an internal campaign called 365 Days of Giving. EPISODE SUMMARY Devi Ward Erickson, author, podcast host, and Founder of the Institute of Authentic Tantra Education, describes how orgasm can lead you to enlightenment, altered bliss states can dissolve painful truama, and how non-dualistic practices overlap with anti-racist consciousness. It's no wonder this powerful goddess has managed to be the first and only government-accredited institute teaching Tantra thus far. So tune in and fall in love with Devi Ward Erikson.IN THIS EPISODE:Devi describes the true goal of tantra yoga and what every seeker should know before choosing a neo-tantra teacher. You'll discover that the five elements of this tradition - earth, water, fire, air, and space are an antidote to one of the five root poisons of human emotion: anger, attachment, pride, jealousy, and ignorance. You'll hear stories of students completely shut down from orgasm, go through Devi's 5 element healing process and completely recover their pleasure that for years has been numbed out.Enlightenment is summed up by the experience of bliss, equanimity, openness, clarity, and joy, and to have that look a little closer at how far you can extend those orgasms. CONNECT WITH DEVI WARD ERICKSONWEBSITEBOOKPODCASTMEMBERSHIPTANTRA CERTIFICATIONSEXOLOGY DOCUMENTARYFREE GIFT  OTHER EPISODE LINKS People's Institute for Survival and BeyondAmerican College of Sexologists InternationalAwaken Arousal Oil Lubricant "I had a 3-minute orgasm and then a 5-minute orgasm. Southwest Virginia called him back home to be the Director of Group Services, Technology, and Administration at Shenandoah Life Insurance and, later, the Vice President of Strategy and Operations at NetVentures. Those who can not recite pure Bani, should they recite Bani or not?

#PearlsOfWisdoms #BabaIqbalSinghJi This is a good question. The one who hasn't understood the meaning of gurbani. He is a new face. He is told to recite. The concept is O God's beings The overall concept is. “Sach Kaho Sun Leyo Sabhe” “Jin Prem kiyo Tin Hi Prabh Paayo” The effect of love is away from ‘Me' Beyond Ego. Egoless, So, someone recites the baani with love. He has not got the teachings of baani. And he recites with love. Even if he does not understand the words grammatically. The meaning Guru Sahib has explained in that. What is the meaning. That enters him. The Guru settles in him Even if we usually say. Get the teachings. Recite the gurbani with correct pronunciation. But some are those who get the teachings and even recite correct. But then also their minds are gambled. There are certain examples. Maskeen Sahib ji has also said. There are some ‘Granthis' for forty years, their whole life. They have recited the ‘Akhand Paath' of Guru Gobind Singh ji But still presently their attachment, conceit and ego has not finished. Because they have done that for money. Sant Attar Singh ji Maharaj has said, The one who has the habit of doing this. “ Khoti Vaahli, Kise ne Pothi Vaahli, Ik Barabar hai” Because where is the influence on mind. What are you doing with your mind. So, you have to do it with love It is better to get ‘Santhya' (gurbani classes) After getting that you have to read it pure. And that is very good. If it is not available. There was a story of a ‘Rishi' That he started reciting ‘Mara Mara' instead of ‘Rama Rama' His ‘Mara Mara' became very famous Reciting ‘Mara Mara' he met the almighty. What is your perspective. The effect of love is very far from ‘Me' Very far from ‘ego' This is the complete thing. If there comes a simple devotee even if he hasn't got the ‘Santhya' And he recites it with love. And he is in love. And by reciting it with love His baani will itself get correct. The lord will correct it with love. The meaning of Baani will enter inside him. Rest we should have ‘Santhya' Everything is to be done. After getting ‘Santhya After reciting the correct Gurbani If we hate those who haven't got ‘Santhya' If hate originates inside us. Then what have we learnt in ‘Santhya.' And what rules have we followed of the Gurbani. Gurbani says, “Sab Meh Jot Jot Hai Soye, "Tis De Chanan Sab Meh Chanan Hoye” Whom shall I hate. Whom shall I love. There was a fakir named ‘Bullah' Very great. Bulleh Shah said. The almighty isn't far away from us. But there is no eye to see it. We have to create that eye. Maharaj has said in the baani “Saach Kaho sun Leyo Sabhe, "Jin Prem Kiyo Tin Hi Prabh Paayo.” What was the need for Maharaj to tell the truth. Maharaj says to fools like us. “I am saying the truth.” Guru Gobind Singh Ji says “I am saying the truth.” Listen, “Saach Kaho Sun Leyo Sabhe, "Jin Prem Kiyo Tin Hi Prabh Paayo.” Love is beyond ego. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/babaiqbalsinghji/support
