Heute tauchen wir ein in die faszinierende Geschichte des Nehemia, einem Mann, der eine Schlüsselrolle in der Wiederherstellung der jüdischen Nation nach dem Exil spielte. Nehemia wurde nicht einfach berufen; er war bewegt von der Not, bat um Gottes Führung und wurde freigestellt, um loszugehen. Mit einem klaren Plan organisierte er die Wiederherstellung der Mauer um Jerusalem. Doch seine Geschichte birgt weit mehr als nur Baupläne und Strategien. Erinnern wir uns daran, wie Eljaschib, der Hohepriester, seine Verantwortung als geistlicher Leiter wahrnahm und die anderen Priester mobilisierte, um das Werk anzuführen. Jeder Bewohner wurde persönlich involviert, indem er den Mauerabschnitt baute, der seinem Haus am nächsten lag. Doch neben den Bauprojekten und den Angriffen von außen standen auch die inneren Kämpfe. Diejenigen, die sich den Anweisungen widersetzten oder sich zu "vornehm" fühlten, um mit anzupacken, warfen ein schlechtes Licht auf sich. Doch diejenigen, die mit Mut und Glauben voranschritten, wurden zu Siegern, auch wenn sie zu den "Geringsten" gehörten. Wir lernen, wie wichtig es ist, die offenen Stellen und Schwachpunkte zu stärken und sich gegen inneren und äußeren Widerstand zu wappnen. Gemeinschaft, Gebet und Zusammenarbeit waren der Schlüssel zum Erfolg, wie die Bauarbeiten in erstaunlichen 52 Tagen zeigten. Shoes can contain up to forty different types of material, and once in the landfill, the rubber foams, plastics, and adhesives are likely to take hundreds of years, if not forever to decompose. Today's guest, Noah Swartz, is a fourth-generation bootmaker and the co-founder of Erem, a company with the goal of making performance footwear that is 100% biocircular. Biocurcular means that their desert boot uses only materials with proven paths back to nature and they provide each Erem product a seamless and responsible next life.
