Episode 6: Greg Ryan Greg Ryan carried an unimaginable secret for 54 years. It was one he was embarrassed to share. One that didn't allow him to plan ahead. One that resulted in a life of shame, social stigma and intense mental health difficulties. And one that would eventually lead him into a dark place, and then out again, and inevitably to where he was meant to be. Greg was born without an anal opening, a congenital abnormality known as Imperforate Anus. And it was finding ‘his tribe' that propelled him on a mission to establish the ONE in 5000 Foundation to educate people about the condition and provide support and resources for those with it. Greg is generous and raw and as you will hear, throughout his climb of the mountain, his sense of humour and love for family, friends and the North Melbourne football club has never wavered.    TWO AM I Listen Curiously   Difficult themes* REMINDER: If this episode has raised any issues for you, in Australia you can contact Lifeline by phone on 13 11 14 (24/7); Lifeline via text on 0477 13 11 14 (24/7); Suicide Callback Service 1300 659 467.   CREDITS   Hosts: Jack Riewoldt and Shane McCurry   Thanks to our guest Greg Ryan.   To learn more about Greg: Greg on LinkedIn Greg: Continence Foundation of Australia ONE in 5000 Foundation Rare and Resilient on Facebook Rare and Resilient podcast   Links from this episode: Greg receives Kings Birthday Honour North Melbourne Life Member induction A Secret Life: Surviving a rare congenital condition  The Adventures of Sneaky the Poop Greg sings the North Melbourne song in Times Square     Find TWO AM I on social media here: TWO AM I YouTube TWO AM I Instagram  TWO AM I Tik Tok TWO AM I LinkedIn TWO AM I LinktreeSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How to Overcome Burnout and Breakdown with Greg GillesGreg Gillies from The Evolved CEO. He's a husband, father of three, entrepreneurial businessman, healer, coach, mentor, business consultant, and intuitive advisor. After 20 years of hustling, grind, success and failures, and climbing the corporate ladder, Greg worked even harder to build his own business. Greg found himself with a lot of materialistic success. And on the outside, everything looked great, but on the inside, he felt like something was missing. He was unhappy, rarely fulfilled, and he spiralled into more confusion about what his real purpose really was. Greg had achieved so much, but still wasn't happy. He was stuck and lost, and to deal with all the stress, pressure and noise in his mind, he worked harder and harder while using alcohol to switch off. Then one day, he hit the lowest point of his life; mentally spiralling into burnout and breakdown. Greg finally surrendered and opened himself up to a different kind of help. This led to a deep internal journey of healing, alignment and spiritual work that completely opened Greg up to His truth and transformed his whole life. By continuing to heal his inner world mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually, he unlocked his intuitive gifts and divine purpose in life. Greg combines his healing, intuitive gifts and advisory services to help CEOs and Founders find their inner truth, peace, alignment, and happiness so that they can expand beyond their business accomplishments, identity and material possessions. In today's episode I discuss these topics with Greg:Greg's backgroundHow his transformation came aboutThe importance of finding YOUR truthFeminine energyEvolving the masculine egoThe power of soul vibrationLeadership - being self-awareThe most important thing Greg has learned in lifeGreg's Book Recommendation

Financial independence is something that people spend decades trying to achieve. For the average American worker, this can be a slow grind, saving a few hundred dollars a month, hoping to be financially free at sixty-five so they can finally enjoy retirement. The problem? You spent three or four decades at a job, waiting to do what you want. If you're going to crack the code to financial freedom, retire early, and live and work on your terms, you might want to follow Greg Cullen's strategy.Greg has been hustling since he was a teenager. He was bringing in a full-time salary at age sixteen after building a sign-spinning business with over a dozen workers. He always knew the key to success was finding smart ways to make more money. So, when Greg was offered a full-time salary, he turned it down for a sales job with no cap on commissions, allowing him to save money at a far faster rate, and reach financial freedom well before the age of thirty. But Greg didn't need some colossal empire of cash-flowing rentals. Instead, he's financially free with only ten units, all of which he bought in under a decade. So how did someone like Greg, without real estate experience, scale his income up so fast? In this episode, you'll learn what Greg did to purchase properties at lightning speed, the Chick-fil-A rule of real estate you should adopt, and how failing is the only successful way to hit financial freedom early. In This Episode We Cover:Why choosing a commission-based job, with uncapped earnings, beats a salary almost alwaysSign spinning and creative ways Greg made big money as a teenagerThe Chick-fil-A real estate rule that all investors should follow when picking a rental property marketCommon investing hurdles and how to deal with massive burnout when trying to make more moneyThe laws of power that every entrepreneur, investor, or employee must know to level upWhat to do when real estate partnerships go wrong and turning a stressful situation into a killer dealAnd So Much More!Links from the ShowFind an Investor-Friendly Real Estate AgentBiggerPockets Youtube ChannelBiggerPockets ForumsBiggerPockets Pro MembershipBiggerPockets BookstoreBiggerPockets BootcampsBiggerPockets PodcastBiggerPockets MerchListen to All Your Favorite BiggerPockets Podcasts in One PlaceLearn About Real Estate, The Housing Market, and Money Management with The BiggerPockets PodcastsGet More Deals Done with The BiggerPockets Investing ToolsFind a BiggerPockets Real Estate Meetup in Your AreaDavid's BiggerPockets ProfileDavid's InstagramDavid's YouTube ChannelRob's BiggerPockets ProfileRob's YouTubeRob's InstagramRob's TikTokRob's TwitterHear Our Interview with “The 48 Laws of Power” Author, Robert GreeneBooks Mentioned in this EpisodeThe Concise 48 Laws Of Power by Robert GreeneRich Dad Poor Dad by Robert KiyosakiConnect with Greg:Greg's BiggerPockets ProfileGreg's YouTubeGreg's InstagramGreg's TikTokClick here to check the full show notes: https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/real-estate-716Interested in learning more about today's sponsors or becoming a BiggerPockets partner yourself? Unpack and heal your trauma with Greg.  He helps people feel the pain to be able to metabolize it.  Can we create our own trauma?  Why do we hide our trauma?  Greg speaks to relationships with others being so important.  Greg works with people to connect to their inate wisdom.  These notes will never be able to clearly define Greg's own wisdom and the wonderful responses to the questions I ask him.  Listen from start to finish to hear those in-depth answers to questions I asked that were not so simple to find an answer to.Being able to feel some really hard things needs to be done slowly, and that is a part of healing. You can reach Greg at https://www.gregwieting.com or at https://www.prismamethod.comMore about PRISMA:The PRISMA Course is the owner's manual and roadmap for mental, emotional, and spiritual health. And he brings a unique take on how to effectively heal the trauma that underlies anxiety, depression, and chronic pain without chasing or suppressing symptoms.Greg can geek out on neuroscience, energy medicine, and mindfulness making it practical, relevant, accessible, and fun. :)Support the show

Nothing good will ever happen to you if you never leave your house. Before my evening flight back to Barcelona, I also booked several cooking classes making pizza, tiramisu and pasta, as well as a walking tour in downtown Rome. Luckily, the classes connected seamlessly. I had a full schedule and I made several friends who I still keep in touch with till this day. That was the end of my journey in Europe. I had so many beautiful memories and had seen most of the cities I was eager to visit. I had met the people I wanted to meet and also got together with some friends before I went back to Taiwan. After I got back to Taiwan, I had some quality time with my family and then I was figuring out where I would like to go after I had some much-needed rest. Then the pandemic hit. A lot of my friends in Europe were suffering from the sudden change in their lives and restrictions on things that previously seemed normal. I only talked to a few of my hosts briefly however they seemed quite low and there was a point at which it felt like the world was ending. At this time, a lot of people in Europe and other countries died from this horrible disease and many more were stuck on their computers and within their homes for weeks on end. Now in hindsight, I am really glad I took the trip. I really am. Though it was hard and I was exhausted from the trip, I followed my heart, and I didn't waste time. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to create so many beautiful stories to tell. I saw so many beautiful sights and scenery however I was most interested in the people who lived there. At this point, I don't know when the world will be normal and safe to travel again. It's very possible that we will have to continue to travel with caution and socially distance from people we meet from now on. Back when I was traveling, these ideas never crossed my mind. I was used to flying all the time, and I even created a brand for myself called Fly with Lily. However, the train made it so easy to travel to nearby countries. The eurail ticket was also a money saver too and I took 56 rides with a two month pass, which came to around 900 euros. At the end of my journey, I saw how far I had come from when I first thought about the idea of traveling around Europe by train. These thoughts developed after a conversation with my good English friend in Barcelona, Greg, who suggested that train travel was a great way to leave a smaller carbon footprint than flights and was more environmentally friendly. He had lived in Sweden for almost twenty years and even shared that some Northern Europeans advocated “Flight Shame”.  He jokingly told me that maybe I should stop encouraging people to “fly” since I was building my personal brand “Fly with Lily”.  Over the years while I was traveling around the globe, I became more aware of the impact of my actions on the place I lived in and I felt inspired by Greg to try this new approach for myself. When we can travel again, I would love to try more train journeys in different countries and continents. My experiences convinced me that this method of travel is not only more environmentally friendly but that there are so many exciting adventures to be had. At the top of my list is traveling around China by train, experiencing the many sides of this vast country and sharing what I see with my loyal listeners. 从我的英语旅行英語训练营摘录(客房服务) I can't lock the door. The light in my room is not working. The toilet doesn't flush. Could you check it out please? Could you fix it?

Kurtis talks about what he has done lately to bring his best, and Belinda shares a tasty beverage! Here is a little bit about Shannon:   Shannon Grissom Artist Statement I'm woo woo. No two ways about it.  I create in the 5th Dimension. Whether I paint a traditional portrait or a band of sock monkeys, my work has always contained a spiritual component. It's not enough for me to get a likeness of the subject. I won't stop until the spirit of the subject leaps off the canvas and speaks to you. No matter what life offers, the intention of all of my creative expressions, is that they focus on the good. Background I was a late bloomer. I didn't discover painting until I was 33! Once I finally realized I wanted to be a professional artist, I was hooked and driven. I'd get up early each day to paint for a few hours before the start of my day job. This demanding schedule was worth the effort. By 1999, I was able to leave my day job and began to create art as a full-time business. And thus began the amazing ride... At 44 I began production of the television series, Give Your Walls Some Soul. The inspirational how-to painting show grew from an audience of one station to over 50 stations across the country. It was seen in over 10 million households, winning numerous awards. It is still airing today. At 46, I published my children's book Monkey Made of Sockies. From that book came a line of licensed merchandise, a coloring book, and the popular Monkey Made of Sockies golf club headcovers that have been carried on tour by several LPGA pros. Today I am an award-winning artist, television producer/host, author, and songwriter. My artwork is licensed and sold globally, and I just launched an online art school "Painterly." So many people have helped me along the way and I am truly grateful. It is my mission to give back by supporting others on their journey.   Episode 4: BYOB By Self Advocating with Trigeminal Neuralgia with Belinda Gravel In today's episode, the hosts talk about what they have done recently to bring their best and enjoy a tasty beverage during the interview. Here's a little bit about today's guest: You know her, you love her!

What if I told you that just about everything you think you know about wealth and prosperity is WRONG? That the platitudes you hear about ‘following your passion’ and ‘turning thoughts into things’ are, at best, misleading and may be sending you down the wrong path? So, what is it that the super-wealthy and successful understand that you and I do not? What separates a millionaire from a billionaire? And what lessons can we learn from the stories of today’s most iconic figures? Serial entrepreneur Greg Reid is a bestselling author, keynote speaker and filmmaker. Tapped by the Napoleon Hill Foundation to continue the Think and Grow Rich legacy, Greg has had the good fortune to sit down with the most successful contemporary leaders and learn how they persevered through challenging times and capitalized on unexpected opportunities. He has been named one of Entrepreneur magazine’s Top 5 Keynote Speakers and Entrepreneur of the Year by the United Nations’ Novus Summit, among many other awards and honors. Today on the podcast, Greg joins Oliver to turn conventional wisdom on its head and share the secrets he learned from interviewing the most successful people in today’s world, including Steve Wozniak, Evander Holyfield and Ferruccio Lamborghini. He explains why people in the 100 Million Dollar Club tend to be unhappy (while billionaires are content) and discusses what’s wrong with ideas like ‘thoughts are things’ and ‘pursue your passion and the money will follow.’ Listen in for Greg’s insight on turning obstacles into opportunity and learn how to apply the lessons of the wealthy to find success in YOUR life!
