Things get twice as confusing this week as Roger and Troy tackle the 2007 Lindsay Lohan fever dream, I Know Who Killed Me. With one Lohan playing two identities, the guys wade through a swamp of giallo-inspired visuals, inexplicable plot twists, and more prosthetics than a Halloween store clearance sale. They dig into the film's themes of trauma, identity, and — you guessed it — amputation, while wondering if the real mystery is how this script got greenlit. As they dissect the character inconsistencies and bizarre symbolism, the conversation drifts from thoughtful analysis to sheer bafflement. Come for the Lohan deep dive, stay for the snarky side-eye at blue lighting, stripper montages, and storytelling that forgets where it's going halfway through.
It's time for one of those huge episodes. Well, it's a three parter anyways. 2007 was a damn fine year for horror movies. Unfortunately though, there is no iron clad masterpiece amongst them. Psychic cyborg stripper twins VS the Blue Death! Otherwise known as I Know Who Killed Me... a notorious film from 2007 starring a young and rebellious Lindsay Lohan. Known to some as one of the worst movies ever made, but to others a skillful modern take on the classic 70's italian Giallo genre - I Know Who Killed Me is a breath of fresh air for us! Prepare for an unpredictably gory, strangely funny, and absurdly edited flop-turned-masterpiece!
Is Aubrey a piano prodigy or a stripper? Is it all real or a piece of creative writing? Is this the worst movie Lindsay Lohan has ever been in or flat out the worst movie ever? These are just a few of the questions I Know Who Killed Me left us with. Ken Marino is our victim this week and he helps Paul, June, and Jason piece together the plot, characters, and ridiculous symbols that make this horror thriller such a bomb. Adryan Corcione is featured on this week's episode of Nicstalgia. Tri-State Area pop culture enthusiasts unite!!! We chat about how we met (spoiler alert: we are the only people talking about Xanga), Gerard Way working at Hot Topic in the Willowbrook Mall, Adryan's journalistic work and forthcoming book about growing up online at the advent of social media, the themes of identity and connection, and parallels between the early internet and now. We have a show and tell of select pieces Adryan's awesome physical media collection, featuring Lindsay Lohan covers from Cosmopolitan (2022), Playboy (2012), Nylon (2009), Maxim (2007), Fangoria (2007) featuring possibly the only favorable review of I Know Who Killed Me (2007), and Interview (2004). We talk about how Lindsay's personal life overshadowed and informed the perception of IKWKM and the parallel between how her public struggles with substance abuse mirrors how society views drug and mental health crises. How we treat It Girls affects the treatment of girls everywhere. Ultimately, I pose the question – How can we as the general public, media, internet, and cultural critics do better going forward have more compassion for the people around us? We dive into the consumption of public figures, the price of pursuing fame, and the right to privacy. Even reality TV stars have boundaries! Despite what's shown (and sold) to the public, celebrities are people and have nuance…but so does everyone else. Social media has democratized access to celebrities - we can contact them – AND celebrity – we can become them ourselves. We close out with a Britney Spears oracle card reading! Moral of the story: Pop culture matters!
Holy Hell y'all, have you seen "I Know Who Killed Me"? It is a legitimate masterpiece of terribleness. And as we all know, that's what makes a great movie! Lindsey Lohan stars in this sooooooooper mysterious mystery in shades of red and blue. There's torture, high school, poemitry, CSI, backgina, and a case of mistaken identity. Or is there?! If you're feeling adventurous, have a blue drink and a red drink ready and take a sip each time the color appears. Great fun until you get alcohol poisoning!

Today's guest is Christopher Norris aka Steak Mtn, the visual artist behind album art for bands like Against Me!, the frontman of Combatwoundedveteran, and now the author of the new book THE HOLY DAY. He's here to help us figure out what happened to Lindsay Lohan, former teen idol from films like FREAKY FRIDAY and MEAN GIRLS, who seemed on her way to working with legendary directors like Robert Altman. Instead her career took some strange turns before fizzling out, and we're talking two of the most Unwatchable examples: 2007's horror fiasco I KNOW WHO KILLED ME, and Paul Schrader's 2013 “erotic thriller” THE CANYONS. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/unwatchablespod/message

Damn Lindsay, save some bad stripping for the rest of us! Join BP, Coop and Justin as we discuss the 2007 cult film 'I Know Who Killed Me' starring Lindsay Lohan as Aubrey Fleming, a young woman who is abducted and tortured by a sadistic serial killer. After surviving the abduction, she insists that her identity is that of another woman. I Know Who Killed Me was released by TriStar Pictures on July 27, 2007, and was deemed a critical and commercial box office failure and it has since been called one of the worst films ever made. The film was the most awarded at the 28th Golden Raspberry Awards, winning eight of nine nominations, including Worst Picture and Lohan tying with herself to win Worst Actress as well as Worst Screen Couple for both characters she portrayed. It did, however, attain a more successful home video performance, having almost quadrupled its U.S. box office gross in estimated domestic DVD sales. The film subsequently developed a cult following and several screenings of it have been put together by historic theatres and film festivals. Production stayed halted soon after as Lohan underwent appendix surgery. Filming was soon then delayed even longer after the incision was infected and the filmmakers were waiting for a doctor's approval for Lohan to continue working. This all occurred around the same time Lohan admitted herself to the Wonderland Center rehabilitation facility for a 30-day stay. I have bruises all over." In the first week of production, filming was halted after Lohan was hospitalized, her representative saying "she was overheated and dehydrated." Production stayed halted soon after as Lohan underwent appendix surgery. Filming was soon then delayed even longer after the incision was infected and the filmmakers were waiting for a doctor's approval for Lohan to continue working. This all occurred around the same time Lohan admitted herself to the Wonderland Center rehabilitation facility for a 30-day stay. During the stay she continued shooting the film, returning to the facility at night. Sivertson claimed that production "never lost any shooting days because of rehab," with Lohan declaring she drew from what she was personally experiencing to tackle some of the film's darker themes. Because of all the media attention Lohan was receiving, she could not even walk to her trailer without the paparazzi photographing her, sometimes they would even end up in the background of some shots of the film.Sivertson talked about his experience directing the film saying, "I was happy as hell to get my hands on the script. It's exactly the kind of thing I'm into. Stylistically I guess you could say the influence is Hitchcock filtered through De Palma and Lynch. There were echoes of some of my favorite movies in the script - stuff like Vertigo, Dressed to Kill, Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet," continuing that he wanted the movie "to play both as a dark psychological thriller and as a surreal fairy tale. I went for a very bright poppy look with saturated colors, particularly blues and reds." He concluded, "Love it or hate it, it's stuff that I wanted to see on the big screen and now I can. That makes me happy."In 2019, Sivertson revealed the existence of a three and a half hour-long director's cut, disclosing, "To a lot of people it doesn't make sense. And there were a lot of plot scenes, especially a lot of investigative FBI stuff that were just totally cut out of the movie. I was more interested at the time with just the weirdness of it all." Siverston stated about casting Lohan: "We needed someone who could play complete opposites... but not in a clichéd way. The movie really rests on Lindsay's shoulders." Likewise, producer Mancuso Jr.'s only concern in casting Lohan was whether the actress, best known for roles in family comedies and teen flicks, could continue making the transition and play more adult-oriented characters, admitting, "It was a risk, but it didn't scare me because I felt like she wouldn't do this unless she was willing to go for it."In July 2007, Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence, which prevented her from doing promotion for the film. She had to withdraw from a scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in which she had been due to promote its release.#britneyspears #lindsaylohan #Iknowwhokilledme #horror #movie #death #horrorfilm #splatter #deathscene #blood #gore #scarymovie #horror #completeguidetohorror #horrormovie #scary #creepy #graphic #gimmemore

It's a George Clooney double feature! In honor of his new rom-com with Julia Roberts releasing today (Ticket to Paradise), we're watching two movies he starred in (and one he directed) that are referenced in the Gilmore Girls season 6 episode “You've Been Gilmored.” First it's the 2002 sci-fi drama Solaris, in which Clooney is investigating some weird behavior in outer space, and then it's the 2005 journalism docudrama in which Clooney is investigating some un-American behavior in the newsroom. What is the story of Solaris? To what famous journalist is Paris comparing herself? What did audiences and critics think of these movies? And did the Oscar buzz get to George Clooney? We Wholeheartedly Recommend: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, CheersOther pop culture we ref: Mickey Rooney, All the President's Men; Ocean's 11; I Know Who Killed Me; mother!; The Tender Bar; The Wicker Man; Good Morning, Vietnam; Dylan ThomasSo it's a show? #141 Eternals, Spencer, Titane This week, we begin with the controversial Eternals. We love what it brings and what makes this Marvel film different than the rest as well as reflect on the terrible constraints and choices it does. Spencer shows us another transformation from Kristin Stewart as Princess Diana going through meltdowns and anxiety attacks upon the British royalty. A horrifying film that isn't at all horror. Titane escapes conventional descriptors as it involves a young woman's terrible and murderous choices that leads her to a strange situation of pretending to be a boy to escape said choices. Hi EMTs, Katie here, holding down the fort while Allen takes a bit of much-needed time off. I had suggested to him that I pick a few episodes to re-release that could use a bit more love, so I'm starting off with what is probably my all-time favorite: the 2007 Lindsay Lohan spectacle "I Know Who Killed Me." Guys, this film is the greasy pizza-shaped stain on the sidewalk of cinema and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I loved discussing it with my pal, and I am loving sharing it with you again. It's absolutely, utterly, nonsensically insane in all the best/worst ways. I hope you enjoy it. Love, Katie
"She always felt like half a person. Half a person with half a soul." We're closing out stripper month with the 2007 Lindsay Lohan cult classic I Know Who Killed Me (aka Parent Trappin' per Blaire). Lohan plays a college student who is tortured by a sadistic serial killer, then when she is found, claims to be a stripper named Dakota. This movie has everything: Twin Peaks vibes, a decent amount of gore for horror heads, the woman who plays the nun in The Nun, an Art Bell cameo for Coast to Coast fans, two Real Housewives, and a Sphynx cat with big balls. Costumes by Rachel Sage Kunin (Jane the Virgin, Dallas). The tumultuous career of Lindsay Lohan has experienced some of the highest high's and lowest "Loh's" of any young actor we've seen. This week on the show, we're looking back on some of the more pivotal Loh's in Lohan's career: the notoriously rotten "I Know Who Killed Me" and her 2013 soft-comeback, "The Canyons." We're thrilled to be joined again by Olivia Willke, who has come on to defend these Lohan misfires, particularly the Paul Schrader-directed and Bret Easton Ellis-penned "Canyons," which also marked the big screen debut of porn star James Deen. Is "I Know Who Killed Me" a future camp classic, inspired by the works of De Palma and Lynch? Can James Deen act? Why does Bret Easton Ellis still have a career? And most importantly, when is Lindsay Lohan getting her Britney Spears-style public rehabilitation? We miss you Lindsay! "The Canyons" is streaming on Showtime and "I Know Who Killed Me" is available to rent wherever you rent movies!
2007's I Know Who Killed Me vs 2005's Corpse Bride. Which blue-tinted masterpiece will prevail??Hi! We're Liza and Mike and we have too many DVDs! So many in fact that the only way to cull our collection is to pit them against one another. Every week we'll select two movies at random, watch them, talk about them and decide which one has GOT to GO. Two discs enter, one disc leaves. This is: DVD Deathmatch!
Daisy, Clare, and guest Andrew are back for the second part of their I Know Who Killed Me episode - The Dakota Cut. In this episode, they deep dive into the director Chris Sivetson, the script issues, production issues, Lindsay Lohan’s career, horror history with a discussion on Giallo films and erotic thrillers as well as Clare's favourite topic - David Lynch films! Stay until the end for Daisy Vs Clare in top 3 Lohan films, and when in doubt, sew that dead finger back on pals, the movie told us so!
In this week's episode, Katie finally gets what she's been asking for and instantly regrets it. We're talking about the much-anticipated 2019 Lindsay Lohan spectacular, "Among the Shadows." Special topics for your consideration include: presidential prom limos for President Husband, having no motivation to do any of the things you do, FREXIT!, the benefits of recording episodes from one's home, sorta-vampires and kinda-werewolves, and the true gloriousness that is Lindsay Lohan. Now that you've all had a chance to immerse yourselves in the world of Aughtsterion, Sam and Jordan are pulling you down into the deep end with an obsessively considered reappraisal of the strange angel I Know Who Killed Me, starring not one but two Lindsey Lohans. You co-hosts go further into the cultural significance of 2007, and give you a graduate seminar on Lohan as a case study in the failures of both the media machine and its consumer engine. And like Sam will tell you: This is important. Produced by: Jordan Crucchiola Music by: Sam Wineman

This episode we look at the erotic thriller that will have you longing to be watching I Know Who Killed Me. Directed by a narcissistic, reality TV star, who managed to film this over two weeks. Nicolas Cage stars alongside Gina Gershon and Nicky Whelan in this steaming pile. I was joined by Ed Jefferson, who has taken to trying win the lottery with numbers found in Nicolas Cage films. I asked Ed is he: A) A Nic Cage fan? B) His first Nic Cage Movie? and C) His Favourite Nic Cage movie? as well as scoring the film based on 1) Does Cage have bad hair? 2) Does he have a crazy voice? 3) Does he freak out? Denne uken har vår første gjest, Embla Crowo, tatt med seg multi-razzie vinneren "I Know Who Killed Me" fra 2007. Hosted by Andrew Quinn and Darren Mooney, and this week with guest Cian from the Selected and Sissy That Pod, The 250 is a (mostly) weekly trip through some of the best (and worst) movies ever made, as voted for by Internet Movie Database Users. This time, Chris Sivertson's I Know Who Killed Me. Aubrey Fleming is a talented student, piano player and writer from the upper class surroundings of New Salem. She has lived a sheltered life, but this changes dramatically as a serial killer stalks the community. Disappearing after a football game, Aubrey is found dismembered but alive in a ditch. Rushed to hospital, she eventually regains consciousness. There's just one complication. She claims to be Dakota, a stripper who has lived a much crueler life than Aubrey ever knew. At time of recording, it was ranked 75th on the list of the worst movies of all time on the Internet Movie Database.
The third episode of our season on the awesome movie year of 2007 features the year’s biggest flop, the Lindsay Lohan thriller I Know Who Killed Me. Directed by Chris Sivertson and starring Lohan, Julia Ormond, Neal McDonough, Brian Geraghty and Garcelle Beauvais, I Know Who Killed Me was a critical and commercial failure that basically ended Lohan’s career as a movie star. The boys continue their camp marathon with one of their most celebrated films yet: LiLo's Razzie-winning, F CinemaScore-awarded, critical and commercial bomb I Know Who Killed Me!Is it Hitchcock? Is it De Palma? Is it giallo? Who can say?! Thankfully we have Gaylords of Darkness co-host Anthony Hudson here to help us unpack all of the stripper-y goodness.Trace walks us through the car wreck of Lohan’s career, Joe repeatedly mispronounces “Dina”, and the trio obsess over Jennifer Tilly’s possum character and how a Disney animated version of the film would play out.Plus: we try to unpack the symbolism of the film's signature blue/red colour scheme, chastise the film's apparently humourless set, and recast Ormond with Celine Dion. Also: Joe adds to his Amazon Christmas Wishlist and Trace tries out his impressions of both Lohan AND Katherine Heigl? We may have gone crazy...In this week's game: we play 'Fix This Movie' by hypothesizing one thing that could be done to improve the film.Questions? Comments? Snark? This is not the scarecrow movie you're looking for (that's a Star Wars reference, see?) In this week's episode, Katie royally botches it by accidentally selecting a SyFy channel film, the 2013 made-for-TV movie "Scarecrow." Special topics for your consideration include: a new game for us to play called 'Random Note,' the efficacy and necessity of various school punishments, why on earth these people are talking so much, BETH!!! and being absolutely broken by a movie. Oh, and if you think you might know what movie featuring scarecrows we may have intended to do, let us know-- we're in the market for a good scarecrow film! Do you like the film "Mean Girls"? UM, OBVIOUSLY. Check out the other films we've done featuring actors from that movie: 107- "Jennifer's Body" with Amanda Seyfried and Episode 104- "I Know Who Killed Me" with the inimitable Lindsay Lohan. You know what they say about being in a hole? When you find yourself there, keep digging until you find another hole with worse acting and less plausible storylines. And that's what we did. Following up on last week's foray into the weird later additions to the "Halloween" franchise, we're talking about the 2002 film "Halloween: Resurrection." Special topics for your consideration include: the academic and romantic careers of a bunko Jon Snow, destroying the world vis a vis Daylight Savings Time, criminally under-using Tyra Banks, whether ad-libbing qualifies as Dangertainment and parsing reality television. We haven't talked about many reality show-based horror movies (sidenote: are there any good reality show-based horror movies? Let us know!) so I guess just listen to some of my favorites: Episode 104- "I Know Who Killed Me," Episode 108- "The Wicker Man" (remake) and just for fun, Episode 6- "Alucarda." On this week's episode, the 2018 Listener Request Month mercifully comes to an end with the absolutely ridiculous, I Know Who Killed Me! Is this a movie within a movie, or is this actually a movie within a movie within a movie? Is this supposed to be a horror film or not? And where did that cigarette go? PLUS: George Lucas taunts Spielberg, Abrams, and Johnson while smoking a doob! I Know Who Killed Me stars Bonnie Aarons, Lindsay Lohan, Michael Adler, Julia Ormond, Neal McDonough, and Art Bell; directed by Chris Sivertson.
Cult Following is back with an all-new episode looking at recent movie releases and more! In this episode, join Victor Moreno, Kirby Nelson, Joshua T.Ruth and our 4th man on the podcast this week, Jasper Crawford, from The House of Freaks Podcast, as we discuss THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, a pair of recent Dan Stevens films in COLOSSAL and THE TICKET and the DRAFTHOUSE FILMS documentary WE ARE X, new to Blu Ray this week. We also talk about ALIEN: COVENANT, 13 REASONS WHY, SING, THE HANDMAID'S TALE, EDGE OF SEVENTEEN, MOANA and PET. Plus a scintillating discussion ala Mr. Skin of Lindsay Lohan's scantily clad past in films like I KNOW WHO KILLED ME and THE CANYONS. Finally, we discuss the new movie poster culture documentary 24 X 36 in depth and segue into a discussion about the collectability of movie posters; whether the secondary market should dictate the price of of our pop cuklture ephemera and how that affects the collectability of everything from VHS tapes, to action figures, statues and more. We also get into what our favorite movie collectibles are and what we like to have in our film collectibles collections. Don't miss out on this fun new episode!

Well EMTs, it's episode number 104 which, by our math, means that it's the SEASON FINALE of Season 2: Year of Rage! To honor the closing of this year, we decided to get super, super ragey with the 2007 Lindsay Lohan thriller "I Know Who Killed Me." Special topics we'd like you to consider include: life imitating art and art imitating life, the Next Young Artist competition, unsexy stripping, the weird blue artistic choices, Dario Argento: the crappy years and generally just our extreme confusion about basically everything in this film. To commemorate the 30th episode of the Tirades, your courageous hosts endured the Lindsay Lohan bomb I Know Who Killed Me. How many problems are there just with this movie's title? Why are we supposed to care about a girl who's on screen for less than 15 minutes? Why does a girl who has been mutilated not cooperate with cops? What is with all of the gargantuan leaps in logic and plot holes? And why is there so much blue everywhere? None of these questions are answered, but you will get plenty of lengthy rants from both hosts. Happy... 30th episode...? Please visit http://tranquiltirades.wikia.com.

¡Bienvenidos a nuestro vigésimo-cuarto programa! 0:00'00 ------- Previously. 1:28'21 ------- TV: Sandwich King. 1:34'17 ------- Promo de Droidcast. 1:36'19 ------- La sobremesa. 1:52'11 ------- Despedida y formas de contacto. 1:52'45 ------- Disclaimer.
