October - Fools of War (Maria Laschinger, Tamara Kämpfer, Tom Gschwind und Sebastian Hausmann) 2. PJ Harvey - Let England Shake 3. David Bowie - Life on Mars 4. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Carry on 5. The Last Dinner Party - My Lady of Mercy

You may love the Lovebug lyrics by Jonas Brothers while driving. But for Alabamians, lovebugs are a stubborn, sticky seasonal problem for drivers. Lovebugs or Plecia nearctica Hardy, swarm out twice a year like clockwork— every May and September. The autumn swarm is usually larger and plague-like. Although individual females live for only a few days, adult flight activity last for about a month before they disappear. This fly earns the common name “lovebugs” because it often flies while still coupled during mating. They become abundant locally often after a rain. They are concentrated in areas with decaying organic matter,...Article Link

If you have lived in Florida long enough, you have likely seen them flying around or stuck to your car. Lovebugs often fly in tandem and can make for some uncomfortable conversations. “It caused me to have a very awkward conversation with my daughter, who when she was very tiny, she caught the little lovebug and she goes, ‘Dad, why does this bug have two heads?' And I stumbled around and bumbled and said, ‘We'll talk about it when you're older,'” Florida's Fourth Estate co-host, Matt Austin said. Austin and Ginger Gadsden are getting to the bottom of what lovebugs are doing, where they came from and how to clean them off of your car. The duo spoke with Dr. Norman C. Leppla with the University of Florida on Florida's Fourth Estate. He has dedicated his life to studying insects and he knows a lot about lovebugs. Learn more about your ad choices.

Hello again, Lovebugs! Today's episode features Lisa Romano, a Narcissistic Abuse & Codependency Expert, as well as Life Coach and Bestselling Author who helps people renegotiate their perception and relationship with self and others. The big question we ask here is, "how do I really feel about myself inside relationships?" Some highlight from the conversation: "Codependency is a problem with identity - you don't know who you are, you don't feel good enough so you're seeking validation, and you're trying to get approval thinking, 'if I get approval from somebody outside of me, that means I'm enough.'" "When you're codependent you feel like you need permission to feel your feelings." "Once I was able to see, 'it's not me, it's my programming', I was able to dis-identify from the shame of not feeling good enough." Today I’m covering how to stop comparing yourself, your income, and your prices to your competition, peers, and mentors in the online business space. The thing is, Lovebugs, no one has all the answers, and there’s no one standard method for everyone. And there’s no secret sauce or magic to achieving those coveted $10k months, either. When we begin to compare our businesses to others, we neglect the inner wisdom and guides that we can connect to for our version of success. Here are a few questions to ask when you begin comparing yourself to another person: What can I actually get behind? What do I actually want to charge right now? How will this add up? Do I actually want to work as much as they do? Do I actually desire that much time in exchange for money? What am I actually chasing? -- https://www.theslaycoach.com/haus-of-slay

Springtime in Florida- and love is in the air. Or at least lovebugs. Any kind of road trip through the sunshine state this time of year is usually accompanied by the percussive splatter of lovebugs hitting the windshield. So where do lovebugs come from and what are they doing here? How do they fit into the ecosystem of Florida, and what’s the best – and worst- way to get them off your car? On this episode of Intersection we dive into the history of the bugs we love to hate with Dr. Denise DeBusk, professor of horticulture at Valencia College West, University of Florida Entymology professor and director of the university’s Integrated Pest Management program Norman Leppla, and Matt Moreman, creator of ...

Lovebugs, this is a fun one. There are so many rumors and after 12 hours of research, I’ve barely scratched the surface of Eva Peron or Evita, as she’s often called. Eva Peron was an actress, turned First Lady, turned activist, turned kind of saint. You’re going to hear the word “supposedly” A LOT in this episode. Like a lot a lot. Things are a little murky about her life, particularly before she married Juan Peron, the man who would become the 29th and 41st president of Argentina.
Lovebugs are in season and can be seen on car bumpers everywhere. Libby Hartfield and Dr. Troy Majure explore these little creatures and even dispell some folklore surrounding their origins. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
The cool stuff- she was a warrior, a brilliant military strategist, an adept diplomat and politician and a symbol against oppression. She also had a harem with dozens of men she'd kill after she slept with them.
Lovebugs, this dude has one of the gnarliest Cinderella Stories I’ve ever heard with a messed up family to boot. I didn’t know was just how far back all of the dirty bits, went....you know, the scandalous, salacious, and sexy stuff we cover.
A motivational sunrise that awaits you to truly wake up and be Blessed, Loved, and Aligned with such positive vibes!!!
