Hâkk Teâlâ'dan emir gelince Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.), Hz. Ali (r.a.) ve Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.) ile berâber Ukaz panayırında Arap kabilelerine Allâhü Teâlâ'nın birliğini ve kendi risâletini anlatmak üzere yola çıktı. Lanetli Ebû Leheb, Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.)'in Ukaz panayırına gittiğini duyunca erkenden pazara gitti. Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'i bekledi. Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.) panayıra geldi ve risâletini anlatmaya başladı. “Ben size Allâh tarafından gönderilmiş bir peygamberim. “Lâ ilâhe illallâh Muhammedün Resûlullâh” deyiniz” dedi. Lanetli Ebû Leheb, “O'na kesinlikle inanmayın. Peygamber olduğunu kâbul etmeyin, gelip kavminiz arasına girmesine izin vermeyin” diyerek panayır için gelen Arapları kışkırttı ve Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.)'i taşlattı. Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.), Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.)'i korumaya çalışırken kendisi de yaralandı. Taşlardan birkaç tanesi de Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.)'e isabet etmiş ve yaralanmıştı. Mübarek bedeninden kanlar akıyordu. Hz. Ali (r.a.)'ın elbisesi de kana bulanmıştı. Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.), Resûlullâh (s.a.v)'i o kalabalıktan çıkarttı. Biraz uzaklaştıktan sonra Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.) devesinden indi. Mübârek eliyle Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.)'in yaralarını sardı. Sonra elini bedeni üzerine koydu. Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.)'in ağrıları o anda geçiverdi ve Mekke'ye döndüler. Yolda gelirken; Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.), Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.)'a; “Ey Atîk! Git bu gece dinlen. İnşaallâh yarın tekrar gidelim. Kendimizi Arap kabilelerine tanıtalım. Allâhü Teâlâ ne yazmışsa onu görürüz” dedi. Hz. Ebûbekir (r.a.); “Başım üzerine! Ey Allâh'ın Resûlü” dedi. Ümmü Rammân: “Ey Ebûbekir! Tekrar gidersen dünkünden daha beter ederler” dedi. Hz. Sıddîk (r.a.): “Ey Ümmü Rammân! Resûl yoluna kurban olmayan can, can mıdır? Benim cismim, canım, oğlum, kızım O (s.a.v.)'e feda olsun” dedi ve sonraki gün tekrar gittiler. (Erzurumlu Mustafa Darir, Siyer-i Nebi,c.2,s.85-88)

As Uber Ads continues to grow its business, Ramm stopped by the Digiday Podcast at Cannes to talk about Uber's approach to challenges in programmatic, the rise of artificial intelligence and the company's trajectory. Recorded in Spotify's studio on the beach at Cannes Lions, tune into the conversation with Ramm.

Back in 2011, a good friend of mine who was working at the record label Nuclear Blast called me up. I knew it was something super important if she was calling me. When I picked up, without hesitation, she said, “Don! I just heard your new favorite band. They're called Graveyard and their new album is called Hisingen Blues.” After the first listen of the album, I knew she was right. This was a band that was doing something unlike I'd ever heard and I loved it. Twelve years later, here I am, still a massive Graveyard fan and geeking out over their latest (and best) album, 6. It has been nothing less than surreal to watch Graveyard grow from a new band to a band that is now being considered influential and fathers of their movement. I had the pleasure of once again speaking with guitarist Jonatan Larocca-Ramm and it was great to talk to as always. We touched on the writing process during the Covid-19 pandemic, not taking things for granted, and the growing, strengthening bond between the members of the band. Enjoy, y'all!

Dance Your Way to Healing with Courtney Ramm Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Courtney Ramm has followed her passion for dancing to a career as a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She's directed dance schools, performed, and taught worldwide, from Singapore to Thailand to Manhattan. Dancing since the age of two, you could say that Courtney was born to dance. At age 8, she studied at the renowned School of American Ballet and, soon after that, performed on New York's most significant stages. By age 25, she had lived all over the world with a strong resume behind her. Acting upon a strong inner calling, Courtney soon left the concrete jungle of Manhattan for the tropical jungle of Hawaii to start her own dance company. With a strong determination to succeed and an endless to-do list, Courtney got to work on building a new picture-perfect life for herself but always felt that something was missing - the perfect husband. Until one day, at a spiritual gathering, she would lock eyes with a man that would leave her feeling something was off, but she couldn't help the intensity of his stare. Ignoring all the warning signs, Courtney dove into a relationship, not grasping the graveness and outright danger of her decision, but soon realizing that she was going down a dark path and making life-altering mistakes while doing it. After exhausting every possible way to make things better and now the mother of two young children, Courtney knew that she had to find a way out, or she wouldn't make it. Once out, Courtney would find herself feeling completely worthless and pretty much at rock bottom. Seeking help from the outside world and returning to her love of dance, Courtney found a way to heal and rebuild a new life for herself and her children…realizing that she would make it. In her memoir, Eris Rising, Courtney tells her story of breaking deep karmic patterns, grappling with the calling of destiny, and reconnecting with her inner warrior to show others that it is possible to move forward after life-altering mistakes and inspire them to recover the true “genius” within. Now the founder and artistic director of Ramm Dance, a non-profit dance company that blends the love of dance with holistic healing, Courtney has changed long-held karma into a mission for helping others heal and rise from domestic violence. Listen in as Courtney, and I discuss growing up in the dance world, her life-altering mistakes, and how she turned it all around to find your own path to FEARLESS HAPPYNESS!

After all, we're just walking each other home." (quote from Ram Dass) We're all going to the same place, and we're all on a path. Sometimes our paths converge. Sometimes they separate, and we can hardly see each other, much less hear each other. But on the good days, we're walking on the same path, close together, and we're walking each other home.We are a part of incredible vast whole, which is a part of an even greater beyond whole. Being born and dying is an infinitesimal part of this whole."If your everyday practice is to open to all your emotions, to all the people you meet, to all the situations you encounter, without closing down, trusting that you can do that — then that will take you as far as you can go. And then you'll understand all the teachings that anyone has ever taught." Pema Chodron

Our card this week is Dana Ramm, the Jack of Hearts from California. When 20-year-old Dana Ramm's body was found on the shoulder of Andrade Road, the Bay Area mourned her passing and wondered if a killer was lurking in the shadows. Dana disappeared forever while waiting for two friends, Tracy and Cody, at a Bay Area gas station one night in December 1986. Even though Dana's body was identified the day after she disappeared, it's been almost 36 years since she was slain, and police still haven't thawed her cold case. The clock is ticking, but investigators are hopeful that they'll one day give closure to Dana's friends and family. If you think you know who Happy is, or if you know anything about what happened to Dana Ramm in December 1986, call the Alameda County Sheriff's Office cold case homicide unit at 510-667-3636. Hello, kaiju lovers! Thanks to Damon Noyes's generous MIFV MAX pledge on Patreon, MIFV is covering its first musical: Little Shop of Horrors (1986)! Nate wanted to cover this as part of Amer-kaiju, but to his disappointment, it didn't make the cut. That's when Damon, who's performed in not one but two stage productions of this, swooped in and got it on the roster. It has a puppet, after all. This story has a complicated history: from several short stories to a low-budget Roger Corman movie in 1960 to a 1982 off-off-Broadway musical to this film, Nate and Damon dive into all of it. You'll hear discussion of Faustian bargains, debates over its two endings, some singing, and even a candid moment where Damon gets emotional about a song in the film. Before the broadcast, Nate was checking his e-mail in the KIJU breakroom when Mr. Gold arrives and says Cameron Winter wants to promote him to “media master.” Nate is reluctant, but he wonders if he can use this to discover what the new boss is hiding. Also, Dr. Douif calls as the Island's kaiju horticulturalist to offer his thoughts on Audrey II. Check out the movies Damon was in! Maxie, directed by Jarrett Bryant, is on the streaming site Vimeo. One can get $1.00 off the price by using the code: LaneCounty. “Off the Road,” a 13-minute short from Hewlett Artistry, can be viewed on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/ZdJHBY2a4fg. The prologue, “The Offer,” was written by Nathan Marchand. Guest stars: Michael Hamilton as Mr. Gold Daniel DiManna as Dr. Dourif Additional music: “This Cowboy's Hat” (instrumental) by Chris LeDoux “Finale (Don't Feed the Plants)” by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman “Chant My Name!” by Masaaki Endo Sound effects sourced from Freesound.org, including those by InspectorJ, and created by J.P. Gant. Check out Nathan's spinoff podcasts, The Henshin Men and The Power Trip.
