For this week's show, Shawn, and Andy talk about this weeks announcements from Apple with the Peek Performance Event. They break down the new iPhone SE unveiling which features the A15 Bionic, the same power found in the iPhone 13. The iPhone SE will feature a smaller screen, 4.7" however with the Home Button, Touch and camera system also found in the iPhone 13, this can be a great option for those looking to a new smartphone in the iOS world with a much reduced price. While the Mac Book Air was a nice announcement with the M1 from Apple, the most exciting announcement had to be the Mac Studio and Mac Studio Display. The Benchmarks of the M1 Ultra are amazing which is included a an option for the new Mac Studio, the M1 Max also is an offering. Andy has been watching Investigation Discoveries latest show, Undercover Underage which 6 Episode run happens on Thursday Evening on ID and is streaming with the Discovery+ App. The show takes a deep look at one of the sad issues with the online world, Sexual Predators that can prey on those underage. While we might not think our children can be affected by this, the preying on the younger users online takes many forms and is sometimes hidden behind the keyboard. Andy talks with Roo Powell, the Author and speaker and creator of SOSA, Safe From Online Sex Abuse. They talk about the show itself, the reality of getting these predators in the front of Law Enforcement and how youth is groomed to give up information and put themselves in harms way which could lead to trafficking, rape and murder. Elden Rings is quickly becoming one of the most streamed games and for very good reason. Shawn and Justin talk about the popularity of Elden Rings and what makes this RPG so different from the rest. Andy thought Elden Rings was a New Video Doorbell for the Older Crowd. Andy gets his hands on a ATEM Mini and ask Shawn about some of the key features on the Mini and why this would be a good solution on a Large Zoom Gathering that Andy have been asked to put together. While Justin passed on his opportunity to get the Valve Steam Desk Shawn tells us about the CEO of Valve hand delivering the Handheld gaming units to buyers in Seattle. Listener Ana sends in a Question about wanting to upgrade her 6-year-old Motorola Android device and looks for what could be a possible replacement. Andy has a Cooler Master Lan Box but must decide between using what he has and a Corsair RGB Case he purchased from Best Buy. Shawn shares his thoughts on which one he should build. Andy tells the story of Sending his Son to Micro Center in Tustin to get a Graphics Card only available in store. At time of recording of this show, Roku and Google were Battling and the YouTube App was being removed from Roku.
