Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit lief "Suicide Squad" von David Ayer als dritter film im DCEU. Nachdem dieser (dank Warner Bros.) floppte war zu erwarten, dass das Projekt eingestampft wird.Also hat James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) das Projekt als "rebootquel" aufgegriffen, da er nicht mehr im MCU aktiv ist.
