Dans cette zone montagneuse et enclavée, sur les rives du Lac Albert qui fait frontière entre la RDC et l'Ouganda, un seul hôpital soutenu par l'ONG Médecins sans frontières, à Angumu, prend en charge les patients qui souffrent de troubles mentaux. Dans cette région, les besoins sont pourtant colossaux. La région, où aucun groupe armé n'a jamais attaqué grâce à la rivière Kakoye que les habitants disent magique, accueille des dizaines de milliers de déplacés.  De notre envoyée spéciale de retour de Angumu, « Moi, je suis Emmanuel Umerambe Watum, je suis superviseur des activités santé mentale. » Ce psychologue clinicien de formation nous fait faire le tour du service de psychiatrie : « Cette salle, c'est pour observer les malades. Il y a un malade que nous avons récupéré pour l'amener l'hôpital, car il était enchaîné. Ça fait aujourd'hui trois semaines qu'il est chez nous et nous avons pu le déchaîner. » Si la famille de ce malade l'a enchaîné pendant 16 ans, c'est parce qu'aucun centre spécialisé n'existait dans la région avant 2022, date de l'ouverture de ce service. Roseline amène son frère pour la troisième fois.  « Tout a commencé par des troubles de la parole. Mon frère a commencé à dire "il y a des gens qui me poursuivent". Après, il a voulu tuer sa fille aînée, il a voulu l'égorger. Les gens qui étaient là ont réussi à sauver cet enfant. Et après, il s'en est pris à une chèvre et il l'a découpée en morceaux avant de la jeter dans la brousse. » Tous les cas ne sont pas aussi sévères. Certains souffrent de dépressions ou de troubles chroniques, liés notamment à des traumatismes. L'hôpital se situe à proximité de zones en conflit et la région accueille de nombreux déplacés, rappelle-le docteur Françoise Bema, directrice de l'hôpital : « Nous avons suivi des formations dans ce domaine, et nous avons des capacités. Il n'y a pas moins de 200 malades actuellement et c'est MSF qui nous aide pour les médicaments. Et après le départ de MSF, comment se fera l'approvisionnement des médicaments ? Parce qu'il y a encore la guerre et la population n'est pas encore en mesure de se prendre en charge. Alors leur demander d'acheter les médicaments, ce sera difficile. On craint que beaucoup de patients arrêtent leur traitement. » Selon le ministère de la Santé, au moins 20 millions de Congolais souffraient en 2023 de problèmes de santé mentale. Xavier Emmanuelli, médecin urgentiste, cofondateur de Médecins Sans Frontières et fondateur du Samu Social, est une figure incontournable de l'humanitaire français. J'ai décidé de diffusé cet extrait en pensant aux personnes en Ukraine, au Liban, en Palestine, en Iran et en Israel et partout ou il y a de l'extrême pauvreté.Cet épisode est le seul qui m'a fait pleurer. Un nuevo bombardeo israelí mató este miércoles a 30 personas en la Franja de Gaza, según la Defensa Civil palestina. Once de las víctimas fueron atacadas mientras se congregaban hacia un centro de distribución de ayuda. RFI conversó con Franz Luef, coordinador de Emergencias de Médicos sin Fronteras (MSF) en Gaza sobre la dificultades de la atención médica a la población, en medio de la crisis humanitaria. "Yo pensaba con cada salida o con cada estancia en Gaza, que la situación no puede empeorarse más. Y me he equivocado: la situación está empeorando con cada día que pasa", afirmó a RFI Franz Luef, coordinador de Emergencias de Médicos sin Fronteras (MSF) en Gaza.  Luef ha estado tres veces en el enclave palestino desde el inicio de los ataques de Israel en octubre de 2023, tras  los atentados del Hamas contra el estado hebreo. El representante de MSF resalta que la principal dificultad hoy allí es garantizar la seguridad de su personal y de los pacientes. "En el último hospital que queda funcionando en el sur, el hospital Al Nasser, ya está dentro de un bloque de evacuación. Nosotros no sabemos si se puede acceder a trabajar y apoyar y recibir y atender los pacientes allí. Pero al mismo tiempo tampoco está claro para los pacientes qué exposición al riesgo implica acercándome a una estructura de salud, estando en un bloque con orden de evacuación."  Hospitales en agonía Aunque el paciente logra llegar al centro de salud u hospital, resalta Luef, no es seguro que pueda ser atendido correctamente.  "Por el bloqueo total de más de 100 días ya no están disponibles los consumibles, el material médico, los medicamentos, todo lo que haga falta para atender a la población con las especialidades médicas tan elevadas. Es horrible. Lo que está también relacionado indirectamente con nuestro trabajo, es la falta de alimento ante la no entrada de comidLa comida suplementaria para las mujeres embarazadas y lactantes, por ejemplo." No está entrando, y lo poco restante que queda en Gaza está en zonas bajo orden de evacuación. A pesar de más de diez intentos de Naciones Unidas de solicitar acceso a esos depósitos, este fue negado por parte de las autoridades israelíes. La Unidad de Cuidado Intensivo en incubadora para los recién nacidos, planta de oxígeno y todo eso necesita al combustible para los generadores." A los problemas en hospitales causados por los bombardeos se suman ahora la llegada de las personas heridas durante la repartición de alimentos, a cargo de la controvertida ONG, gestionada por Israel y apoyada por Estados Unidos. 

Field Impact : visualiser l'impact humanitaire par l'art génératifLe projet "Field Impact" est né d'une rencontre à Genève entre Rvig et Mario. Ensemble, ils ont imaginé une manière de représenter visuellement l'ampleur des actions de MSF à travers une collection d'art génératif. Chaque œuvre est générée à partir de données réelles de l'ONG : nombre de consultations, vaccinations, accouchements, répartis par pays et par année. Les visuels ainsi créés sont uniques, chaque image incarnant une année, un pays et deux types d'activités médicales. Un projet Web3 au service d'un financement indépendant60 % des recettes issues de la vente de la collection seront reversées à MSF, dans une logique de financement indépendant, chère à l'organisation. Avec un prix fixé à 0,05 ETH (environ 100 euros), le projet se veut accessible à un maximum de personnes, permettant à chacun de soutenir concrètement une cause humanitaire tout en collectionnant une œuvre d'art. Cette initiative s'inscrit dans un programme plus large baptisé Art4Care, pensé par MSF pour initier d'autres collaborations dans le Web3 autour de l'art et de l'impact.Art, transparence et valeurs partagéesMario Stephan insiste sur l'alignement profond entre les valeurs du Web3 (décentralisation, transparence, autonomie) et celles de MSF (indépendance, action directe, témoignage). Grâce à la blockchain, les flux sont traçables, et la démarche reste claire pour les donateurs. En Las mañanas de RNE, hablamos con Francesca Albanese, relatora especial de la ONU para los territorios palestinos ocupados, y Pascale Coissard, coordinadora de emergencias en Gaza de Médicos Sin Fronteras (MSF). Coissard explica que, tras regresar a Gaza, ha encontrado "más miedo, más hambre, más desamparo, más lutos y más indiferencia del resto del mundo". La coordinadora de emergencias cuenta que, por el momento, no se han visto los camiones cuyo paso ha permitido Israel de manera temporal: "No ha entrado nada en Gaza durante las últimas semanas. Es un paso temporal ridículo. Nos enfrentamos a una hambruna generalizada. Algunos niños y mujeres lactantes está sufriendo muchísimo. También los pacientes en recuperación por los bombardeos". Coissard cuenta que también escasean los medicamentos y el material sanitario, que no está entrando: "Estamos viviendo con las pocas raciones de combustible que quedan. Si no hay combustible, no hay hospitales". Se acerca el verano, denuncia Coissard, y con el calor "será necesaria mucha más agua". "La ayuda en Gaza continúa siendo instrumentalizada y se utiliza para cubrir una política de privaciones masivas", reflexiona la coordinadora de emergencias.Francesca Albanese entiende que los palestinos se puedan sentir abandonados pero cree que "hay mucha gente que continúa protestando" y la comunidad internacional no se ha olvidado de la población gazatí. Albanese habla de genocidio: "Tenemos la obligación política y moral de decir 'ya está' y pararlo. Activando los gobiernos, transformando las palabras en actos". Sobre la solución de los dos Estados, Albanese cree que es "un ejercicio de cinismo": "Ahora la prioridad es parar el genocidio. No habrá paz si no hay justicia". He decided the MSF had urban situational awareness well-covered—”Don't take my class if you haven't taken theirs,” he says—so he turned his attention to the twisties, and that challenging aspect of motorcycling has become his focus. After just two months of a shaky ceasefire deal, the Israel Hamas war has restarted. On Tuesday morning, Israel launched a series of what it described as "extensive strikes" right across the entire Gaza Strip.The death toll currently stands at more than 400, including many children, with nearly 600 more people wounded, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. That number is expected to rise as more bodies are pulled from the rubble. Over the weekend, the United States launched what it called 'powerful and decisive' airstrikes against the Houthis, the Iranian backed rebel group that controls much of Yemen. The Houthis say the death toll so far stands at 53, including two children. American officials said the strikes aimed at the Houthi leadership and came in response to the group's threat to resume strikes on shipping in the Red Sea. But it's not just about Yemen. On Monday afternoon, Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that 'Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, and from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of Iran.'Iran, he said, will be held responsible and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire. So what does this new wave of strikes mean for the people of Yemen and for the wider Middle East?
