Let's get honest about a lie holding too many of us back. Somewhere along the way, we picked up this false idea that humility means shrinking, that dreaming big somehow makes us prideful. But here's the truth—thinking bigger isn't prideful, it's faithful. Playing small doesn't honor God. Stewarding your gifts—that's what glorifies Him. So today, we're tearing down the lie that safe and small equals holy. We're stepping into the dreams deep in your heart—the ones so bold and beautiful, you almost feel guilty for wanting them. The ones that whisper, “Who do you think you are?” Here's the answer: You are His. And it's time to trust Him enough to dream bigger. Hey Rainmakers! Chelsey and Stephen here, and today, we've got a powerhouse episode for you with the amazing Danielle Schaaf. If you've ever found yourself battling anxiety or feeling stuck in scarcity, this one's for you. Danielle shares her journey from scarcity to abundance and how she now coaches women to embrace a mindset of possibility and power. Danielle opens up about her story—growing up in an environment where she was told she wasn't enough, which led to years of feeling small and limited in what she could achieve. But everything changed when she started shifting her mindset. Through deep reflection, spiritual insight, and a lot of self-coaching, she realized that abundance isn't just about money—it's about embracing the belief that there is always more than enough in every area of life. We dive into the scarcity vs. abundance mindset, breaking down what each looks like in real life. Danielle's perspective on shifting from a “lack” mentality to one of abundance is so empowering, especially when she talks about how beliefs shape our reality. For anyone stuck in the “I don't have enough time, money, or energy” trap, Danielle gives actionable advice on how to start shifting your mindset. Chelsey and Stephen also reflect on how important it is to embrace this mindset, especially as entrepreneurs and busy parents. We discuss how these shifts don't just impact your business, but your family, relationships, and overall well-being. Sometimes it is really is right in front of us, but we don't see it because we aren't looking for it. This can be blessings, opportunities, the "silver lining" in a difficult situation, the list goes on... What you're looking for is what you'll find, and yet we can train ourselves (or be trained) to look at what others are doing, what we DON'T have, and things like that in which we see the things that make us unhappy and yet we stay surprised that those are the things that we keep on getting... if we look for it, we'll see it, and we'll get it... call it the Law of Attraction, call it whatever you want. Send us a textWhat happens when you stop trying to fix everyone and everything around you? In this deeply personal conversation, Cinda shares her transformative journey from an 18-year-old mother with limited horizons to becoming a respected community leader who's found her purpose in serving others."You can only do your part" – these six simple words changed everything for Cinda. After years of trying to control outcomes and fix situations beyond her influence, this realization freed her to focus solely on her responsibilities in each relationship, whether as a mother, wife, daughter, or community servant. The wisdom she shares about boundaries, self-acceptance, and personal growth resonates with anyone who's ever felt trapped by their own expectations. One pivotal moment stands out in her story: receiving a food assistance box during a difficult time that was filled with expired and unfamiliar items. Rather than just feeling disappointed, this experience sparked her calling to ensure others wouldn't face the same situation. This led her down an unexpected career path from restaurant work to nonprofit leadership, all without the college degree she once thought was required. What makes this episode especially powerful is Cinda's concept of "falling up" instead of down. Each setback became a stepping stone that ultimately elevated her to places she never imagined possible. Her authenticity shines through as she discusses learning that "no" is a complete sentence, embracing her true self (glitter and all), and finding the confidence to pursue goals independently.Whether you're struggling with boundaries, feeling limited by your past, or simply trying to understand your purpose, Cinda's story offers both practical wisdom and inspiring hope. As she reminds us, "Be the social caterpillar or the big butterfly or a little ant on a hill, whichever one you want to be... just don't be afraid to be yourself."Support the show Standing In Your Truth Podcast with Yanni Thomas https://www.facebook.com/share/1Kcug7eVXX/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Artificial intelligence is starting to underpin everything we do, whether we like it or not. And at the highest levels, companies like Google and Open AI are saying their AI is on the verge of crossing a humanlike threshold that we’ve only seen in science fiction. This is prompting all kinds of conversations about sentience and the possible dangers of a superintelligent computer system. But the definition of “Artificial General Intelligence,” or AGI, is controversial. And many researchers aren’t even sure today’s programs have our common understanding of “intelligence” at all. They argue ChatGPT isn’t really thinking -- it's just really good at predicting the next sequence in a pattern (and copying someone else along the way). So what makes something intelligent? Or alive, for that matter? For Google’s Blaise Agüera y Arcas, the most interesting piece of examining AI breakthroughs has been how they connect to the evolution of life on earth. In his new book, What is Life? he argues for a broadened definition of “intelligence,” to include things like single celled organisms and even basic tools. And he says humans’ development of technology -- most recently, AI -- is part of a long history of symbiotic relationships that have pushed our evolution forward. Guests: Blaise Agüera y Arcas, Vice President and CTO of Technology and Society at Google, where he leads a team called “Paradigms of Intelligence” researching the intersection of AI, biology, and philosophy. Author of What is Life, the first part of a broader work on intelligence at large. If so → https://www.newtomedicaldevicesales.comBreaking into medical device sales, the mindset needed for success, how to leverage multiple job offers, networking strategies, how to follow up effectively, common mistakes people make, understanding different medical sales divisions, and why thinking bigger is key.Key Takeaways:1️⃣ Define your goal—medical device sales is broad, so be clear on where you want to go.2️⃣ Look at what you've been doing—if you've applied to 100 places with no interviews, something needs to change.3️⃣ Identify what needs to improve—are you leading your calls, preparing well, and showing up with the right mindset?4️⃣ Network the right way—don't just reach out to one company, have a game plan and show real interest.5️⃣ Follow up with purpose—sending a “How's it going?” message won't get you anywhere. Be intentional.6️⃣ Have the right mindset—stop self-sabotaging by ruling out jobs too early. Leverage multiple offers.7️⃣ Think bigger—you might be aiming for $100K, but why not $150K or $200K? Your mindset determines your results.00:00 - Start07:03 - Define The Goal12:06 - What Have You Been Doing?14:14 - What Needs To Be Improved18:41 - Networking24:54 - Following Up29:09 - Mindset36:56 - Think Bigger

Is money the word that comes to mind to fill in the blank in the episode title? It's understandable if it does. We get into that - what about pain, though? How much pain does it take before we learn our lessons and change? Can't we learn from others' hardships and experiences all around us and apply it? Or does it HAVE to happen to us first, and if so, WHAT needs to happen to us for us to decide to prep and plan NOW and be proactive… financially, mentally, physically, and more. In this episode we touch on these thoughts and go over specific real-life examples and place ourselves in the mature yet difficult place of being on the receiving end of the serious question: How much ____ does it take to change your life? A flood of government regulations, mandates, and subsidies has not solved the United States' health care problems—they are the problem. They have driven the average employer-plan family premium to nearly $26,000—and then tossed families out of their health insurance when employees leave their jobs. Even as Obamacare creates an insurance shortage, it has nevertheless grown so unaffordable that enrollees earning $200,000 per year get $12,000 in subsidies. Growing federal debt threatens Medicare and Medicaid patients' access to necessary care.Reforms circulating on Capitol Hill are not up to the challenge. Some propose more regulations, mandates, and subsidies. Yet if that approach worked, it would have already. Even reforms that are directionally correct fall far short of what is necessary to restore individual rights and make health care more universal. At this two-panel forum, leading health policy scholars will offer meaningful and potentially bipartisan reforms that would bring relief to struggling patients, workers, and taxpayers. The first panel, “Who's Afraid of Cutting Health Spending?” (9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m.), will feature Michael Cannon, Robin Hanson, and Mark Miller. Panelists will discuss the many opportunities to eliminate excessive spending—opportunities that close observers of Medicare and Medicaid know about but the public does not. Hosted on Acast. If you're looking for negative, you will find it. If you're looking for positive, you'll find that, too... at every point in our journey of life, in very obstacle and heartache, in every milestone and accomplishment, what you think about and train your eyes and heart to look for is what you will find... it seems obvious enough, and therefore easy to control, and yet we all as people need the strong reminder to stay vigilant with our thoughts and mindset as we navigate this journey of life.
