We open with a rant about tax day and how I wish we would implement a much better way to collect taxes that does not require so much time, effort and energy on an annual basis. This leads to the issue of Harvard university wanting to continue to corrupt the minds of it's students, while also taking public money and being tax-exempt. A CNN legal analyst had to side with the views of the White House when it comes to the illegal from El Salvador who was sent back to his home country. President Trump said CNN probably hates America, which led to Dana Bash opening a segment saying they don't hate America. So, I play some sound bites over the months to see if she is telling the truth. Judge Boadberg is inserting himself again into the Executive Branch, this time telling Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth that he cannot implement tougher physical fitness requirements in the military. We are once again putting demographics over capabilities and it has to stop! Finally, former Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen said she thinks Trump's plan to bring back manufacturing is a “pipe dream.” Almost as if on queue, Nvidia, just hours later announced a $500 billion dollar investment into building advanced AI chips in the United States. Dimitry Gershenson is the CEO and co-founder of Enduring Planet, a fintech platform that offers founder-friendly working capital and financial advisory services to climate startups and SMEs. Prior to Enduring Planet, Dimitry led M&A and served as COO for Rango Wireless, an Enduring Ventures portfolio company. Before that, Dimitry built Meta's Energy Access program, a $15M+ investing initiative that enabled energy access for 3M people and unlocked nearly $500M in additional capital in underserved markets like Kenya and India Beyond his role at Enduring Planet, Dimitry sits on the board of Ecosafi, a Lowercarbon-backed climate startup enabling clean cooking in emerging markets. In this episode, we discuss: ● What bridge financing is ● The different financing tools available for climate tech start-ups ● Why Enduring Planet started offering bookkeeping and fractional CFO services to climate start-ups Key Takeaways: ● Bridging the Climate Finance Gap: Addressing climate change requires substantial financial investment. We are building things that have never been built before, and solving challenges that have never been solved before. US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen suggests that achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 necessitates annual investments of approximately $3 trillion. However, in their own study, Moody's states that current funding levels fall significantly short, with a gap of about $2.7 trillion per year projected by 2030. This shortfall hampers efforts to mitigate climate impacts and underscores the need for increased investment from both public and private sectors to build a sustainable future. ● The Power of a Complementary Co-Founder: Launching a startup demands a diverse set of skills, often too extensive for one person to manage alone. Finding a co-founder with complementary abilities can be crucial to a startup's success. This partnership allows for shared responsibilities, diverse perspectives, and a balanced workload, setting the foundation for a resilient and dynamic business. Also, with the mindset of true collaboration, it's more likely that a leader will share equity equitably across all individuals that are building and contributing to the start-up. ● Embracing Unexpected Opportunities: In the entrepreneurial journey, unexpected opportunities can arise when least anticipated. A potential partner might agree to collaborate despite previous indications otherwise, or a chance encounter could lead to a pivotal breakthrough. Maintaining an open mindset allows you to recognize and seize these moments of serendipity, turning unforeseen possibilities into tangible successes. Stay open to possibility, stay open to things working out for you, stay open to being delightfully surprised References: ● Connect with Dimitry on LinkedIn ● Enduring Planet ● World Resources Institute (WRI) ● Power for All ● Enduring Ventures ● Photon Marine ● Circuit ● Dollaride ● Sparkz ● Blip Energy ● Project K ● Kinetix Connect & Share: If you enjoy the podcast, would you please consider leaving a short review on Apple Podcasts/iTunes? Today, The Two Mike's spoke with Ira, Our Gold Guy, (New website: https://advisormetals.com). Ira spoke about a well-established cycle of major economic downturns that have occurred in the last 75 years, these negative events have happened roughly every 17 years. The cycle looks like this: 1958, 1975, 1990-91, 2007-2008, and next 2024. Ira said that these statistics and today's measures of the economy negate the "full-of-baloney" claims of Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen and other Biden economic officials that the economy is doing well.
In a recent address, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen said, “It is still too hard to be a working parent.” Her words highlight a significant challenge in America, especially for mothers. Inspired by my college research paper, we'll dive into the American childcare system and its negative impact on working women. We will start with an overview of the current state of the U.S. childcare system. and then discuss how traditional gender norms exacerbate the issue. Following this, we'll examine the direct effects of childcare challenges on women's career paths, and consider some interesting potential solutions to the childcare crisis. I'm no expert, but I have researched this topic extensively and hope to provide an informative and engaging discussion!Support the Show.

For over a century, the U.S. government has provided subsidies – often in the form of tax credits – to support domestic energy production. For renewable energy sources, these tax credits have traditionally subsidized investment (i.e., a project's capital expenditure) and production (i.e., the amount of energy produced by a project). But the Inflation Reduction Act altered these tax credits in a number of ways: it significantly extended their life, massively expanded the technologies eligible for them and made them more easily transferable so that project developers can sell them directly to a wide array of third parties for cash. The transferability provision alone has already supercharged the growth of this market and, as a result, has helped to drive low cost capital to project developers attempting to accelerate the energy transition. In this episode, Chad Reed and Guy Van Syckle sit down with Alfred Johnson, co-founder and CEO of Crux – a new platform created for developers, tax credit buyers, banks and advisors to manage and transfer tax credits. While an inherently complex and at times eye glazing topic, Alfred dynamically details how his platform works, provides the puts and takes on recent market developments and conveys some sage advice – including lessons from U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen. On today's show we open with Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen lying to the American people. But, when pressed about the state of the economy admits how bad things really are. President Biden is in Italy at the G7 summit and while there, made a creepy-laugh statement in praise of Larry Fink of Blackrock and the CEO of Microsoft and their globalist agenda. At the same time while there, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Biden was going to sign a 10 year support deal with Ukraine. While we have the most fiscally irresponsible people in government spending money like water, they let the petrodollar agreement with Saudi Arabia expire. That means the Saudi's can trade in energy in whatever other currency they want, rather than the U.S. Dollar. Then I take just a momentary road into the world of “What If…?” This relates to the 8 ISIS-K terrorists arrested and the sheer number of military aged males flooding into our country. Could there be some other plan in place to create a situation during the election to keep voters from going to the polls? Now, back to the real world. Nathan Wade had to pause in the middle of a live interview on CNN with Kaitlan Collins because he was about to lie again about the timeline of his affair with DA Fani Willis. On top of that, he thinks a president can still be put on trial and convicted while serving in office. At the same time, DA Fani Willis, in a move of desperation, filed a plea in the Appeals court of Georgia, asking them to change their minds and not hear the appeal to have her disqualified from the Trump RICO case. Her RICO case is going nowhere, but, she might be. The House voted yesterday to hold AG Merrick Garland in contempt. Let's see if they really mean it by ordering the House Sergeant-at-Arms to go arrest him. And, if you think that's not an option, I have over two minutes of soundbites of Democrats saying that is exactly what should happen. Finally, in a move that will lower your IQ while listening, we have a 60 second sound bit of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez telling MSNBC the the Supreme Court needs to be reined-in and brought to heel under the Legislative branch. The level of empty-headedness required for such drivel is beyond description. We need people that dumb to be voted out of office this coming November. On today's show Andrew and Bill begin with takeaways from Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen's visit to China, including what her meetings may or may not accomplish and the likely next steps for the Biden Administration in the months to come. From there: As the US and Europe grapple with the threat of cheaper PRC goods in key industries, how might China respond to raised tariffs around the world? Will there be consequences for continued support of Russia's defense industrial base? And how realistic is the deterrence strategy articulated by Ambassador Rahm Emanuel this week? At the end: A question about Xi's vision for the PRC financial system, the deepening partnership between the US and Japan, the US and allies conduct naval exercises in the South China Sea, and a question about Tesla's 0% financing for PRC customers.

Today's show opens with a little more discussion over the insights we can glean from the NBC firing of Ronna McDaniel, thanks to our good friend Victor Davis Hanson. The Legacy/mainstream media is not interested in widening your views or giving you the whole story. They want to protect their information and cultural monopoly in an effort to control the populace. With the AG Alvin Bragg “hush money” case close at hand, it is nice to have a whistleblower who has stated it was lawyer Michael Cohen who was having the affair with Stormy Daniels and not Donald Trump. In fact, looking at the evidence from prior trials, it seems more likely that Cohen and Daniels conspired to blackmail Trump in his 2016 election bid. A new round of emails gathered from a Freedom of Information Act request reveals that the Department of Justice and the FBI uncovered alarming 2020 election ballot fraud in Detroit, Michigan, but covered it up. Longtime listeners to my show already know the details we have uncovered, beginning with the Clerk of city of Muskegon, Michigan. The subsequent emails and information continue to support all of the revelations we brought to you in the fall of 2023. I've told you the Left want the invasion because they need a permanent underclass. They want to grow the population numbers to gain more seats of power in the House, while pushing for amnesty. The latest salvo on this front has the NYC council asking their state Supreme Court to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections. We lost yet another young woman at the hands of a violent criminal illegal alien. Ruby Garcia was only 25 when she was murdered and dumped on the side of a highway. This happened in the state of Michigan. But, the governor of the state has yet to say her name or acknowledge the crime. Instead, Gov. Whitmer is busy pushing their latest state-wide initiate – offering $500/month to house a “newcomer.” Yep, that's their new branding for illegal alien. They want Michiganders to bring illegals into their home and will pay them to do so. I hope the people in Michigan have been paying attention to the fact squatters have more rights than home-owners. What is going to happen when these “newcomers” to your home change the locks and kick you out? Whose side to you think Whitmer and Co. will take? Onto Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen. You may not have heard this covered on the local news and there is a good reason. It's bad. Yellen says Social Security and Medicare are now underfunded by $175 trillion dollars. That comes to roughly $1.4 million per American household. If something isn't done, Social Security will be defunct in 10 years. Maybe the next administration can tackle this issue by culling the size of the Federal workforce. At the same time, we need to education Americans about how the income tax system is designed so the Left can stop playing class envy in an effort to tax us all more anyway. They have a new “wealth tax” they want to employ and they are selling it by lying to you about how millionaires and billionaires pay taxes. A big thank you to Carol Roth for helping with the details. Finally, a CNBC All-America Economic Survey asked Americans for their top 10 most important issues. Then, they asked which candidate they felt would be best able to deal with those issue. Not surprisingly, Trump leads almost every category by a landslide. The only two Biden gets is healthcare and the abortion issue. During the months running-up to the coming 2024 downturn, the price of gold has increased from $1,600 per ounce to nearly $2,000 per ounce. Historically, Ira noted, once gold gets to and stays for a while at the $2,000 mark, it likely will continue to increase in price. We open today's show with more fallout from the Robert Hur Special Counsel Report on the Elderly Man with Memory Problems and how even CNN had to work overtime to debunk Joe Biden's lies when he tried to defend himself. Whether we like it or not, Biden has embarrassed himself, his presidency the Legacy/mainstream media and America. We hear from those who are in vehement support of the President, like Ian Sams and Mitch Landrieu, saying he has the mental acuity and vigor of men half their age! We also hear from the Legacy/mainstream media fact-checking all those lies and distortions. It's a spark that isn't going to burn itself out. In my mind, this is the Marsellus Wallace moment from Pulp Fiction, when he was talking to Bruce Willis about taking a dive. Biden was told to bow out, but he's refusing. So, the Hur report was the first warning shot to Biden to step out before it gets worse. But there is more to the Hur report than just the warning shot. In Appendix A of the document, there is a listing of the confidential documents retrieved form Joe's insecure locations. While we don't have the content (duh, they are classified) we do have the titles and dates, which is enough to bring even more clarity to the Biden Crime Family Syndicate. I'm sure it is just sheer coincidence that many of the files relate to Ukraine and their energy sector at the exact same time Hunter Biden is working on behalf of the board of Burisma. Imagine that! How ironic. Next I shift the Senate Foreign Aid Bill, formerly the Senate Border Security Bill. While many were focused on the Super Bowl, they passed it with 67 votes, which included 18 Republicans. Now, it goes to the House. You MUST contact your congressperson today and tell them to note pass that bill at all. At the very least they need to take out the language that sets a trap for Donald Trump if he were to become the next president. The time bomb built into the bill says the US will continue to fund Ukraine in perpetuity. So, if Trump manages to negotiate and end to the fighting and then pull back on funds which would not longer be necessary, it would setup a the next likely impeachment for breaking the law. Joe Biden ruined part of the Super Bowl blaming the private sector for shrinkflation. While I am not happy that we are paying more for less, I also know it is the fault of Bidenomics! Even Senator John Kennedy pressed Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen about the cost of goods. She said the cost doesn't need to come down because people are making more today. What an abject lie that we told you about last week when we broke down the jobs report. We close the show today with back-to-back segments! First, we get a Big Fani Willis Reality TV Show update. Seems people are coming out of the woodwork to testify about all her illegal moves and perjury. She is also being sued for not producing all of the documents a defense team requested, which is in defiance of Georgia law. Then we get to a Deep Thoughts by VP Kamala Harris segment. She never fails to disappoint, especially when, like Joe, she goes on autopilot with verbiage she has committed to memory. It doesn't matter how many times she's mocked for it's silliness, she loves it too much to stop using it. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. The Fortune CEO Initiative was formed in 2016 as a membership organization bringing together CEOs of purpose driven companies that are committed to addressing business excellence, diversity, and major societal issues as a core part of their business strategies. Each year since then, members have gathered for a one of two day conference to exchange ideas and discuss best practices. The 2023 conference took place last week in Washington D.C., with sessions that focused on topics like: staying committed to social impact programs in a tough economic environment, generative A.I. and sustainable business practices. In this week's episode of Leadership Next, you will hear two conversations from CEOi. First up, Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell sits down with Johnson & Johnson CEO Joaquin Duato. The two discuss why Duato thinks J&J is in its "golden era", as well as the potential of J &J's consumer brands to compete with companies like L'Oreal. Duato talks about J&J's ongoing R&D in the areas of robotics and A.I. Duato also shares his thoughts on how he approaches leading through the tumult of crises like the baby powder lawsuit and the pulling of J&J's COVID-19 vaccine from American markets. In the second half of the episode, Fortune CEO Alan Murray talks to Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen about the current state of the economy. They discuss the narrow avoidance of a full government shutdown, U.S. and global investment in industrial development of things like semi-conductors, and generative A.I. and how it may affect productivity. Yellen also shares her predictions for interest rates, job creation and the economy as a whole. Leadership Next if powered by Deloitte.

Henry Kissinger visited China last week and was given the red-carpet welcome. He follows US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen and President Biden's special climate change envoy John Kerry. In episode 1277 of #CutTheClutter, Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta explains the key takeaways of Kissinger's trip, other visits and the larger geopolitical picture.
American business tycoons including Bill Gates, Tim Cook, and Elon Musk have lined up to visit China this year for whom China rolled out the red carpets. However, political dialogue between the two sides got off to a slow start with the postponement of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit over the so-called "spy balloon" incident. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin didn't even get an appointment with his Chinese counterpart during his trip to Asia. The awkwardness was only slightly lifted when Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen made it here in the Chinese capital in early July. Some media have dubbed the current picture as "Hot economics and cold politics". Is that an accurate description? Can we compartmentalize the two tracks, for long?
You might think that China's ticking "debt bomb" might not have anything to do with you if you're living outside of Asia; but if that were true, then why did US Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen fly across the world to meet with China's top economic policymakers?
In this episode of The P.A.S. Report Podcast, Professor Nick Giordano dons his detective hat to crack the case of the scandalous “White House cocaine gate.” It's a real whodunnit. Is it the sneaky Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen or the mischievous Secretary of State Tony Blinken? Or could it possibly be the President himself? This is a whodunnit. But hold on tight, because this wild mystery unravels a more significant problem: our institutions are like a bunch of wannabe magicians, constantly pulling cover-ups out of their hats as they try to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.” More Information If you enjoyed this episode and found it useful, please give The P.A.S. On today's show Andrew and Bill begin with reactions to Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen's trip to China, including thoughts on what might be the next evolution in the decoupling discourse, various social media controversies that were unrelated to the substance of her meetings, and the optics of cabinet officials traveling to Beijing without many of their Chinese counterparts reciprocating. Then: New PRC regulations for the export of gallium and germanium, and why last week's announcement may do more damage to the PRC than its rivals. From there: The DOJ indicts Gal Luft, Executive Director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, while PRC Foreign Minister Qin Gang is reportedly ill and has not appeared publicly in more than two weeks. At the end: A listener seeks clarification on the domestic challenges facing China and the CPC, the State Department issues a new travel alert for mainland China, and Vietnamese authorities throw Barbie into the middle of a fight in the South China Sea.
China Center Program Manager Shane Leary joins Miles Yu to discuss US Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen's visit to Beijing and its implications for economic relations between the US and China. They then discuss the significance of the CCP's new Department of Social Work and how it further centralizes Xi Jinping's power. They end with a conversation about the 2023 NATO Summit, and how Indo-pacific security fits into NATO's priorities.
U.S. Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen saw the rainbow across the Beijing sky when she landed in the Chinese capital on July 6th for her four-day visit. This was her first trip as treasury chief to China. She is also the second highest official of Biden's administration to come to China, after Secretary of State Antony Blinken did last month. How to evaluate Yellen's visit? How will her visit affect China-U.S. ties? Will we be able to witness the world's most important bilateral relationship getting a "surer footing" to borrow Yellen's own words?

We kept hearing that the Debt Limit crisis deadline was June 1st. Well Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen has extended that deadline to June 5th. This appears to be a hard date. In this month's Master Investor podcast, Sarah Lowther and Jonathan Davis disagree about the direction of the markets. Lowther, at a grass roots level, sees market sentiment on the up while Davis cites renowned financial strategist Russell Napier who errs caution due to the global accumulation of debt. Napier's thoughts are shared by United States Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen who suggests the U.S. government will run out of money at the beginning of June, and if that happens Davis says June will be 'a lively month'. Davis shares Napier's thoughts on debt eradication and why ‘the right kind of equities' could be a solution. Davis's own solution is 'rack up your risk tolerance', or 'do something less frenetic than watching the markets go up and down every day' which Lowther interprets as permission to study to become a vet. The US Vice President Kamala Harris recently went on tour to Tanzania, Ghana and Zambia. But she was not the only US official to visit the African continent recently: First Lady Jill Biden, the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen have all been in recent months. And they're not alone either; Turkey and China's Foreign Ministers made five-nation tours of Africa earlier this year. Russia's Sergei Lavrov has also made several trips to the continent over the last few months. But why are countries courting African nations now? In today's episode, we speak to our international editor, Lindsey Hilsum, about why the Ukraine war has intensified and accelerated a new scramble for Africa, and whether amidst all this jockeying for influence - the people on the continent once again get left behind?

Will Democrats move to push trillions in needless spending before the 118th congressional house takes office after Jan. 1st? I will also discuss the negative comments by Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen over why inflation is a issue in the U.S. The comment and conclusion is both ridiculous and delusional. Prior to the Dobbs decision, Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen wrongly claimed that America needs abortion because it's good for the economy. This myth is rooted in a racist, classist belief that the poor and minorities can only succeed and flourish if they strictly limit how many children they raise. The truth is that abortion is actually BAD for the economy, and having children is GOOD for the economy! * The following is a portion of remarks as prepared for delivered by Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen during a visit to the Rosebud Reservation, home of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, in South Dakota on June 21, 2022. The text was provided by the Department of the Treasury. Thank you very much for that introduction. And President [Scott] Herman, thank you for your generosity and hospitality. It's great to be here. This is my first visit to Indian Country, and it's meaningful to me to see first-hand the beauty of the Rosebud Reservation and to hear about your Tribe's rich heritage. It's also been illuminating to listen to you discuss the deep challenges that you and Tribal nations around the country face, and hear your thoughts on how we can partner together to accelerate the economic recovery for all Tribal citizens. I've spent my entire career thinking about economic policy and how it can help people during hard times and create longer-term opportunities. I see a great deal that policies can do to support Tribal communities. Tribes are the backbone of local communities, and Tribal governments are often the largest employer of their citizens and residents in surrounding areas. Simply put, reservations can be centers of economic opportunity for millions of Tribal and non-Tribal members and they merit deep investment by the federal government and our private sector partners. Yet, despite the efforts by Tribal governments to develop their economies, significant inequities exist. Many have their roots in prior federal policy. According to the US Commission for Civil Rights' Broken Promises Report, over 25 percent of Native Americans live in poverty. In certain Tribes, over half of their citizens live in poverty. For Native Americans living on reservations, the unemployment rate is around 50 percent. Those numbers are unacceptably high. The last two years have been hard for everyone, but they've been especially difficult for Native American communities. Tribal communities have had some of the highest COVID mortality rates in the country, and the data shows that few suffered more than Native American workers and enterprises during the pandemic. In addition to the pain the pandemic caused Tribal families and communities, this disproportionate impact resulted in the loss of critical Tribal revenue that supports governmental services for Tribal citizens in need. The American Rescue Plan, signed by President Biden in March 2021, provided much-needed relief, injecting billions of dollars into Tribal communities across the country. This legislation has led to a historic investment in Indian Country. Our flagship program, the Fiscal Recovery Funds, provided $20 billion to Tribal governments to help fight the pandemic and help Tribal households and businesses recover. Tribes across the country, including right here, used these funds for vaccination efforts to protect their Tribal citizens. Some places – like Rosebud – are using the funds for affordable housing projects. Others, such as the Quechan Indian Tribe, are providing assistance to Tribal members who own small businesses that have been negatively affected by COVID‐19. To date, 99% of this fund has been distributed, benefitting 2.6 million Tribal citizens across the U.S. Other programs have also helped Tribal nations recover. Take the Emergency Rental Assistance program. Tribal citizens faced acute rental challenges pre-pandemic, and these conditions rapidly worsened after March 2020. Biden falls off his bike on vacation when they had him all dressed up in workout gear to look competent. Even CBS pushes back on Biden's spending proposals: "Hiking taxes isn't gonna change the price of milk." Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen expects the economy to slow -- because it's been doing so well! Clay and Buck point out how wrong that statement is. Biden: There's nothing inevitable about a recession. "Regime" media, Washington Post, acknowledge the severity of baby formula shortage. Callers weigh in on CDC approving covid vaccines for children 6 months to 5 years old. CDC issues bizarre guidance for having sex with monkeypox. Buck says he can't even describe the graphics they used, but: "Rule 1 of libido when you have monkeypox is, let the monkeypox pass!" See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
[00:30] Joebama's Economic Plan Is Working (13 minutes)The Biden Administration has forced America into an economic catastrophe. United States Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen admitted that she was wrong in suggesting last year that inflation would be manageable. Now, Joe Biden's energy department is predicting that gas will remain above $4 for the remainder of the year. When Fox News journalist Peter Doocy confronted White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over the failing American economy, Jean-Pierre replied, “[T]he president's economic plan, as we see it, is working.” [13:35] Biden's Gun Grab (8 minutes)Mr. Biden gave a primetime address last night about gun violence in America, repeating that we must “do something” about the mass shootings. “This isn't about taking away anyone's rights,” he said. “It's about protecting children.” Under the Protecting Our Kids Act, Democrats hope to abolish Second Amendment rights of ordinary, law-abiding U.S. citizens. [21:25] Voter Fraud in Yuma County (8 minutes)The Associated Press reported yesterday on a voter fraud scandal in Yuma County, Arizona, where a woman admitted she participated in an organized, Democrat-run ballot harvesting scheme. Though largely unreported, ballot trafficking in Yuma county and elsewhere in the U.S. is widely practiced, and it was a major weapon Democrats used in stealing the 2020 U.S. election, as Dinesh D'Souza proved in his documentary 2,000 Mules. [29:00] Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee (4 minutes)This week, the United Kingdom celebrated Queen Elizabeth's 70-year reign on the British throne. How did Great Britain become the world's greatest empire? And why is Britain today a mere shell of its former glory? [32:55] Bible Study: Maintain High Morale in Spiritual Warfare (15 minutes)In his book How to Be an Overcomer, my father writes, “Failure is only temporary if you are letting Christ live in you and you have high morale! A problem is just something you're about to overcome.” This is the positive outlook we need to war a good warfare and win our spiritual battles! [47:25] E-mail Feedback (7 minutes)
Full Hour | In today's third hour, Dom welcomes New Jersey State Senator Steve Oroho back onto the Dom Giordano Program for an update on the debate over sexual education in New Jersey. First, Oroho contextualizes the debate, telling what it is that's being pushed by progressive New Jersey lawmakers and why Oroho has teamed up with Sen. Holly Schepisi and others to combat the curriculum. Then, Senator Pat Toomey returns to the Dom Giordano Program for his monthly check-in, discussing multiple issues playing out in Washington, D.C. First, Giordano asks Toomey about a hearing held with the United States Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, in which Toomey grilled Yellen on the impact of climate change on the economy. Toomey takes us inside the chambers and tells us why he approached the issue that way, and points out the ludicrous nature of claims centered on climate change coming out of the Biden administration. Then, Giordano looks for Toomey's thoughts on the unprecedented Supreme Court leak centered on Roe v. Wade, asking how Bob Casey, Pennsylvania's other Senator, can continue calling himself a pro-life Catholic while taking a pro-abortion stance after the leak. Then, Giordano asks Toomey for his thoughts on the race for the successor to his seat, telling why he's concerned about a late surge by a certain candidate. (Photo by Alex Wong/Getty Images)

Treasure these days before we get to fully dive into the treasure that is Streets of New Capenna. What new treasures will we be adding from this set to our treasuries? What will United States Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen name as the card she treasures the most? Also, does returning to the same mechanics repeatedly have diminishing returns? The Chinese Communist Party should not expect future claims to sovereignty to carry any weight with the international community if it continues to undermine the sovereignty of Ukraine, according to U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen.
In today's episode, we dive into two topics that have come from the White House in the last 24 hours: record inflation and make believe language for the 2nd Amendment. Both of these continue to illustrate how the current Administration is filled with children who happen to inhabit adult bodies. They still believe in magical thinking and playing pretend. First, we have to recognize how just about every policy implemented by the Biden Administration has been moving inflation upwards since the president took office. His flurry of Executive Orders and reversals of Trump domestic (and foreign) policies began from the moment he stepped into the Oval Office. If we go back to February 2021, inflation was at 1.7% and now we hit a 41 year high, sitting at 8.5%! What does that mean to the average family living in the United States? Basically, if you did not get at least a 10% raise in your take-home pay, you are feeling a month-to-month loss by buying the exact same goods and services as you did this time last year. It's hurting everyone equally unless you are in the elite. The fact this White House is continuing to try to sell the idea this is the Putin Price Hike. No matter how many times they say it, the American people are not buying it. The only piece you can attribute to the Russian invasion of Ukraine would be over the last 4-6 weeks. And, to remind you of how long inflation has been rising, I have a montage of soundbites which include Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, President Joe Biden, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Vice President Kamala Harris. When you listen to the sound bites, starting in May of 2021 through March of 2022, you can hear just how badly this Administration has been about this issue. The second issue deals with Joe Biden inventing different language in the 2nd Amendment. While bumbling through another presser, Joe Biden recounted a story about hunting with a friend. In that story, Joe Biden belittled his friend by saying, “Do you think the deer are wearing Kevlar vests? What the hell do you need 20 bullets for? You must be a hell of a terrible shot.” Here's the problem...the 2nd Amendment has nothing at all to do with hunting. Never has and never will. Constitution scholar Jonathan Turley comes to the same conclusion. What's worse, when anyone tries to tell the “bigger fish story,” they end up losing any credibility whatsoever. Joe Biden's understanding of the 2nd Amendment is just a big a joke as he shows himself to be on a daily basis. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. @SecYellen: "America must pay its bills on time and in full. If we do not, we will eviscerate our current recovery."
In today's second hour, Dom leads off by discussing an interview that Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen gave over the weekend, in which she suggested a solution to our labor shortages could be by increasing immigration. Dom takes umbrage with the suggestion, revealing a story in which people have alleged parents sending their children to work are supporting child labor. Giordano then plays back another alleged reason for our supply issues, being the racism within the trucking profession. Then, Giordano discusses the success of Paramount's Yellowstone, and whether the success is a reflection of the content of the show, being heavily shrouded in themes of Americanism. Then, halfway through the hour, legendary Philadelphia sports broadcaster Ray Didinger returns to the Dom show to break down yesterday's win over the Denver Broncos. First, Giordano and Didinger lead off by discussing the improvements in coaching we've seen over the season, returning to a critical conversation about head coach Nick Sirianni and defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who coached an incredible game against a formidable Broncos coaching staff. Then, Didinger gives his thoughts on quarterback Jalen Hurts, who put up numbers yesterday that nobody would have expected, and the running game which put up over 200 yards in the game. After Didinger, jurors reach a verdict for the corruption case involving union leader John Dougherty and council member Bobby Henon, and Giordano tells listeners what the convictions for both mean for Philadelphia politics. The equities market rebounded on Wednesday but isn?t out of the woods yet. The market responded favorably to a round of better than expected earnings reports as well as comments from Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen walking back her statements from the day before. Tuesday Ms. Yellen said the Fed may need to raise rates to combat an overheating economy, Wednesday she said inflation wasn?t a problem despite growing signs of inflation within the economy. Investors are closing watching the employment data this week. The ADP report was released on Wednesday and showed nearly 750,000 new jobs were created in April. While strong, the figure was below the consensus estimate and may foreshadow a weaker than expected NFP report on Friday. If the NFP is weaker than expected the market may react favorably due to its impact on the economic outlook, inflation, and interest rates.
