Happy Throwback Thursday, Heal Squad! We're bringing back an episode that dives deep into the power of self-compassion and embracing our mistakes. Maria and Kelsey share their insights from a previous episode with Mel Robbins, where she breaks down her transformative “High Five Habit”—a simple practice of high-fiving yourself in the mirror every morning. This habit is more than a gesture; it's an act of self-love and acceptance that flips self-criticism on its head. In her book, Mel shares how this daily ritual can reshape your perspective and serve as a powerful anchor when life's storms hit. We talk about releasing guilt, letting go of self-doubt, and moving forward without the heavy weight of self-judgment. Maria even shares a recent experience where this habit helped her turn a minor car mishap into a moment of kindness rather than self-blame. Mel Robbins Interview on Heal Squad Healers and Heal Liners:  Gratitude as a Compass. Mel and Maria explore how practicing gratitude isn't just positive thinking; it's a grounding practice that strengthens resilience. Celebrate Yourself. From sticky notes to mirror moments, discover practical ways to make self-love part of your routine. Unblocking Mental Lint. It clogs your mind and keeps you from celebrating you. But let's try to pay attention to those nudges and take those seemingly small positive actions that might really be something beneficial to others or the start of something big. So, let' not miss these opportunities, let's listen to those urges and share a little bit more positivity, lend a helping hand, be a listening ear. The seemingly ordinary things of life can be extraordinary when they are compounded! “Everybody that's on this journey is just as challenged as we are. And it can be one of the most empowering beautiful experiences when we share our pain and what we've been through if we intentionally create greatness with it.” -Mallisa J. Vogel   Failure is not an identity. It is a chapter that we can flip into an unexpected plot twist. It is a natural part of life but it doesn't define who we are as people or our potential as leaders.  The first time we fail at something, it may feel like a big deal. But if there is one thing that life has taught us, it is that failure can actually lead to great things. Mallisa J. Vogel aka “MJ Vogel Inspire” learned to turn her darkest moments into her strength. Life was hard for Mallisa growing up in an economically challenged household with so much violence, lacking education, and being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, a congenital condition tha affects brain structure and spinal cord. But through it all, she found her power and became a strong business leader, author, podcaster, and woman.  In this episode, Daniel and Mallisa talk about how to build the hero within us, how to remove the limitations imposed on us, why we should appreciate the boring and mundane stuff that goes into success building, how to set up habits and systems, how we should view money, what differentiates failure from success, and what it means to choose our 158.  Tune in as Daniel and Mallisa double the inspiration in this week's podcast!    Be Inspired! with Daniel:  Website Email Facebook Facebook Group Twitter Pinterest YouTube Episode Highlights: 03:47 When Life Punches You In The Face 10:34 Breaking the Cycle of Hurt 14:03 Be the Hero of Your Story 21:33 Build Your Own Habits and Systems 26:46 Allow Yourself to Celebrate Yourself  33:23 What are Your Money Beliefs?  37:43 Abundance Hacks 40:11 Fork in the Road

Success is your birthright. It is also a learned and practiced trait. While each and every one of us are deserving of success, abundance, and love, much of what we have seen or experienced in our lifetime contradicts that. So many of us are conditioned to focus on or believe in scarcity and lack and consequently, we hardly reach anything near our fullest potential. Beyond that, most of our definitions of success have been created by our upbringing, society, and consumerism. As you have heard me say before, you cannot shift what you cannot see so we are going to talk all about these subtle forms of self sabotage. In this episode, I am explaining how that scarcity mindset has been limiting you and how to identify it. In the second half of this episode, I am helping you reprogram your subconscious mind to solidify success into the core of who you are. We are talking about shifting into a belief system of abundance and allowing success to show up in your life. To top it all off, I am giving you permission to CELEBRATE YOURSELF! That's right, my friend. The best way to solidify success is to celebrate it in a true and meaningful way, so put your party hat on for this 15 Min Fill Up because we are going to have some fun!

Releasing Expectations Process: 1. Examining the foundation of expectations -- where/who are they stemming from? write down any expectations that exist in your life 2. Noticing the behaviors -- how do you behaviors influence the decisions you make + how you show up in the world? 3. Embody your release -- imagine (meditate, visualize) yourself free the expectations; how do you move in the world? how do you dress, where do you work? 4. Prepare for the resistance -- write down affirmations that speak truth to the transformation you have just made. whenever you notice the expectations trying to creep up, use them! 5. RELEASE! -- rip up (or safely burn) the expectations that you identified in step #1. this is the representation of the expectations no longer existing in your life. Bonus step 6: CELEBRATE YOURSELF! It’s Selina here with this week’s Project Love podcast episode. And I cannot wait for you to hit play on this one, because I am joined by the Queen of Self-Celebration and all round joyous creature: Sarah Powell. (https://www.sarahpowell.co.uk/) I have head-over-heels fallen in love with Sarah via her instagram stories (if you are on instagram and you don’t yet follow Sarah Powell on @thissarahpowell (https://www.instagram.com/thissarahpowell) then go and do so immediately). She is hilarious, courageous, loving and inspiring.  She is one of those people that has created a career that is a total expression of who she is and what she loves in life.  She is a celebrant (https://www.marriedbysarah.com/) , founder of Celebrate Yourself (https://www.sarahpowell.co.uk/self-celebration) (the first Celebrate Yourself Live (https://www.sarahpowell.co.uk/celebrate-yourself-live) event recently sold out in just 4 hours!), she is co-host of not one, but two hugely successful podcasts - Jules and Sarah (https://julesandsarah.com/) and Wobble (https://julesandsarah.com/pages/wobble) - both of which she does with her co-host Jules von Hep and she has a rapidly growing instagram community that she pours love into every day.  And yet just a few years ago Sarah was stuck in what she calls ‘the wilderness’ - that no-man’s land of not knowing what you want to do with your life and career, where you’re feeling totally lost and afraid that you’ll never figure it out. The place where everyone (yes everyone) begins their career change journey (or any big journey of transformation for that matter). And so we talked about the power of self-celebration, finding humour in the mundane and how Sarah made her way out of the ‘wilderness’ to create a career that makes her heart sing and brings joy into the world.  This is such an inspiring episode and one that I guarantee will put a smile on your face!  And if you felt like I was speaking to YOU at the start of the episode and you know that it is time for you to make your career change happen, then I would love to hear from you. I am opening the doors to my  3 month 1:1 Career Change Coaching programme (https://loveprojectlove.com/careerlove) this month and as always will only be taking on a handful of clients. And I would love for one of those clients to be YOU this time. So if you’re ready to take the leap, come and book yourself in for a discovery call (https://loveprojectlove.com/careerlove) ! Let’s do this! X Selina

Leddy Hammock From “The Whole in the Part” in Celebrate Yourself! by Eric Butterworth: “You live in the universe and you are a part within the whole. . . . the whole of things is also within you, and there can never be a separation.’” “Wherever Spirit is at all, the whole of Spirit must be. And because God or Spirit is omnipresent, the whole of Spirit (Holy Spirit) must be present in its entirety at every point in space and time. This is a fantastic concept! . . . . It means . . . that God in [us] is the Holy Spirit or the whole of Spirit. The whole of Divine Mind, the whole of divine love, the whole of infinite substance is in you and in focus as you at every moment in time, wherever you may be.” “There is always that part of you that transcends any experience of illness, lack, or inharmony.” “Human potential is divine potential.” “Your potential . . . is a reality even before you begin to work for it. It is the whole of you which you may be expressing only in part. . . . The health you want is now yours, because you are now a limitless expression of divine love. The wisdom you seek is within the depths of your mind now, for you are now an expression of Divine Mind . . . . Singing or saying, ‘Holy, Holy, Holy’ . . . is a commitment to see wholeness everywhere—in persons, relationships, the economy, world affairs—and in oneself.”

Success. If you're like me, you can't get enough of it. And you've probably spent way too much time - and possibly money - searching for it. In books and videos. You dress for it. You chase it. You fake it ‘til you make it. You travel far and wide!   But let me ask you this: Do you feel successful? Truly, fully, mind-contentedly successful?   Of course you don’t. If you did, you wouldn’t be here. And let’s face it, if it was really that easy - if everyone was doing it - you wouldn’t need me. No one would. And while that would mess with my business plan, it’d also make this world such a better place. But I digress...   So are all of those methods and products and shortcuts and paths just a bunch of hooey? Are you being bamboozled and scammed? And taken and flimflammed?   The short answer, believe it or not, is...  NO. None of these success-minded offerings are wrong. But all of them in and of themselves can be incomplete. Every single one of them. Especially the fancy ones!   Success isn’t a destination. It doesn’t come in a box. It’s not something you can buy or barter. No one can tell you exactly how to get it because...and here’s the simple truth that no one ever wants to tell you...success is already a part of who you are. It’s been inside of you all along.   Here’s the part where I offer up the caveat: Only you can find your unique path to success.   And here’s where I give you hope: By simply doing a few ridiculously easy things every day, you can absolutely be more successful.   And now for the part that seems to trip most of us up: There is no try...you must actually DO!  So are you ready to do? Are you ready to unleash the success you so desire? Well look no further, Dorothy, you've always had the power my dear... you don't need to leave Kansas because I'm going to tell you the 3 not-so-fancy habits for success that have been within you all along!   Mentioned in this Episode: #127: Beyond Thankfulness: 4 Things You Need to Be Grateful For If You Want to Grow  #128: 3 Ways to Celebrate Yourself on Your Birthday
