Und Ressortchef Andreas Pinkwart hat durchaus ambitionierte Ziele: Intelligente Städte, Breitbandausbau, KI-Forschung, weniger Funklöcher, Gigabit-Internet in Schulen und Gewerbegebieten und bis 2025 sollen zudem Behördengänge überflüssig werden, weil die Verwaltung digitalisiert wurde. Im Podcast Handelsblatt Disrupt zieht Pinkwart Bilanz, spricht über den aktuellen Zustand der FDP und erklärt, warum nur ein Digitalministerium mit den richtigen Kompetenzen Deutschlands digitale Probleme lösen kann. Communications competition at the edge is heating up. 5G seems to be the rage right now, but what about WIFI 6? It professes to have similar features to 5G and can be a serious contender for the edge market.
