The IndyCar season is officially in the books, and our resident open wheeler Conor Daly brought home his best finish of the year in Nashville. He joins co-host Chase Holden to break down his captivating dash from the back of the pack to 5th place and what changes the Juncos Hollinger Team had to make after a disappointing qualifying effort earlier in the weekend. Conor explains that the key to finding his way to the front was running in clean air in the third and fourth high grooves on the speedway, higher than the other competitors. An untimely caution brought out by Scott McLaughlin temporarily slowed Conor in his tracks though, allowing his tires to cool and preventing him from a possible return to the podium. Ultimately, Conor was happy to bring the team their best effort of the season, especially in his partnership with All American Rejects.Race winner Josef Newgarden joins the show to discuss his long awaited return to victory lane after a tumultuous 2025 season. Josef says that after starting the race wrecking loose, Team Penske was able to make changes that helped the car come around in the middle of the race. Once he was in position on the last restarts of the race, he was able to battle to the lead and hold on to victory. Josef also reacts to the breaking news that Will Power will not be returning to Team Penske in 2026 and reflects on what it's been like having the all-time great as a teammate. Conor and Josef also chat about the overall emotional journey of the season, the current day difficulty of competing in IndyCar and what is to come in the future.
Tonight, on Trackside with Curt Cavin and Kevin Lee, they talk about Team Penske officially announcing that Will Power will not return to the organization in 2026. They also talk about Rinus VeeKay not returning to Dale Coyne Racing in 2026, along with the rumors of Colton Herta making the transition to F2. They later talk about the rumors of Josef Newgarden retiring. In the second segment, they talk more about what the best options could be for Will Power and Rinus VeeKay. They also talk about the rumors of Dennis Hauger and Romain Grosjean possibly being in contention for Dale Coyne Racing in 2026. They later talk the latest of what the lineups for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Juncos Hollinger Racing and if there is a possible return for Linus Lundqvist. To wrap up the first hour of the show, Kevin previews the second hour. To start the second hour of the show, they talk about which drivers could land which seats, even for Caio Collett, Juri Vips, Toby Sowery, and Hunter McElrea. They also talk about the latest for Prema Racing, Honda, and the 2026 schedule regarding a new location for the Toronto race in Markham and for Washington D.C. They later talk about how the season has done in terms of TV viewership numbers. In the penultimate segment, they talk about the term vice champion in IndyCar. They later answer fan questions on X, talking about upcoming testing, Rinus VeeKay possibly moving to Foyt. They also talk about how Team Penske doesn’t do goodbye seasons. They then talk about who is the best driver to challenge Alex Palou for the championship in 2026. In the final segment, Kevin recaps the season finale from Nashville, with epic battles from Pato O’Ward and Alex Palou, along with Scott McLaughlin and Kyffin Simpson. Kevin later talks about Conor Daly having an incredible drive. Kevin also talks about recapping his first season with FOX Sports.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Naturally, almost no one here noticed. The Californian car was a gutsy experiment from a 28-year-old ex-GM designer named Pete Brock. Their story holds bootstraps, napkin math, and one badass stab at 180-mph immortality. This show's format rotates weekly, because squirrel. F1 is finally back after the long summer break, and so are we. This week's live stream gets rolling with a little game: is it a George Russell insult or the name of a bird? (Harder than you think.) From there we dive into the latest silly season chatter, including the rumored Cadillac driver lineup that has us raising eyebrows. And of course, we look ahead to the rest of the season with some bold, probably wrong, predictions. It's the return of racing, a reset of the grid, and a reminder that while IndyCar is fun, it just can't quite fill the Formula 1–shaped hole in our hearts.
We talk Cadillac's big driver confirmation plus look ahead to the Dutch GP in Zandvoort. Can Max do something special on home soil? Now at Arrow McLaren´s IndyCar team. He talks about 3D printing race cars, jigs, 3D printing at races, and much more in this episode. Kory is super down-to-earth and direct about where Additive makes sense and where it does not. He walks us through how they evaluate new technologies and how they aim to stay on top of the latest developments. Car racing and 3D printing go back decades, but here we get a real view of how it's being used today.

(1:09:20-1:21:32) – Ed Carpenter, team president of ECR, joins Query & Company to celebrate his first team win in four years with Christian Rasmussen capturing the checkered flag yesterday in Milwaukee. (1:56:39-2:08:52) – Jake needs help with figuring out when things changed with people texting to ask if they can call you versus just calling you and then waiting to get a call back if someone doesn’t answer. This week on Pit Lane Parley, we're serving up a full plate of IndyCar goodness. First, we chew through the latest news bites making the rounds in the paddock. Then it's off to Milwaukee, where the racing will be nearly as fast as the fans running to grab cheese curds between stints. And of course, we couldn't forget Nashville — the one race where the cars dodge concrete walls while the drivers pray their engineers packed enough aspirin for the afterparty. It's news, it's Milwaukee, it's Nashville…with a side of laughs, as always.

Racing is hard work. Does the perfect driver exist? No. But here now, how the great drivers *try* to be perfect. In the form of an audiobook-style excerpt from INTC co-host Ross Bentley's best-selling “Ultimate Speed Secrets” book!(Bonus: Stories from Bentley's coaching past!)This show's format rotates weekly, because squirrel. We call this format “INTC BOOK CLUB.” Is this a real book club? No. Think of it as a strange but unexpectedly entertaining audiobook that you bought by accident at a random truck stop long before podcasts existed, except there are no week-old hot dogs under a radioactive heat lamp, the CB radios are definitely not on sale, and you can't take a number to reserve a shower that smells like pickled gym shorts.(Note: We are not suggesting you need a shower.
