Maybe whom the Lord sets free is free. Indeed. And I want to let each and every last one of you know, you are.You are truly free and give a fuck what anybody tells you. So let's go ahead and be a lovely self. Now today's episode is just going to be me this time. I'm going to be talking about my [00:01:00] book, which I recently released sex drugs and Jesus, which is my memoir. And I wanted to go through it and really give, given, express my heart about the different chapters while I call them what I called them. And, and really just lay it out in a very meaningful way.So you pick up on the spirit that went into this project, learning why I did it, what I hope the world gets out of it I hope you enjoy this episode. Hello? Hello. Hello, everyone. Welcome to the sex drugs and Jesus podcast. I'm so happy to have you again with me this week. It's just me by myself this time. Usually I have all my homeys or my Ronnie's with me on the show, but today you have to have me all to yourself. I know you've always wanted that. So today you get to have it I'm crying. So today I'm going to take a little bit of time and talk to you about my book, sex, drugs, and Jesus, a memoir of self-destruction and resurrection. [00:02:00] And this is going to run through why I wrote it a little bit about the process, go through the chapters and everything like that. And I think it'll be really cute.I hope you think so, too. So to start off, let's talk about the cover. I like to be super meaningful in a strategic and intentional with everything that I do this cover was put together by my homeboy, Chris and con's designs over in Greece. And I met him through 99 designs.com, which is an excellent company to work with right website to go for all your design needs. So on the cover of the book from the top to the bottom, we have, of course, my name, the van and Hubert. You have a black bird with these mysterious blue eyes, holding a syringe with blood in it. And the blood is dripping out of the syringe onto the skull, which I'm going to talk about next. But this blood for me represents death. The syringe represents how wild my life gotten a [00:03:00] massive amount of narcotics. I used to inject every day. And then the two. You know, work in tandem with each other because you know, the drug life, you know, the it's very, very dangerous. And a lot of times it does lead to death and everything. The, the bird also represents the darkness of the times that I went through when I was homeless and everything like that. And just the general black hole that I fell into during the darkest time of my life, which is reflected within this book that we're keeping it lower. We're taking it lower. We've got the skull. The skull is me that Dan in his, in his head represents the headache. Everything that I went through gave me.There is a rainbow colored cross in the [00:04:00] middle of the skull. Now this represents the conflict in between being a non-straight and the problems that the church tries to throw at us for being non-straight. And in particular, in my own case, you know, for being dismissed from ministry at Lakewood church for not being straight, we work our way down.We see a little weed leaf over the left eye, the eyes contain jail bars, reflecting all the times that I got locked up while I lived in Houston, Texas, and then the nose instead of the nose, we put various pills there as he used to sell a hell of a lot of pills too. And it represents the drug. Behind the skull, we see gears in the farm background was represents how my mind was reeling and just working and going nonstop and how my head was just spinning out of fucking [00:05:00] control. We see music notes also floating behind the skull, which represents my musical inclination and how I can write music, read sheet music, and how I've been in choirs and stuff like that all throughout my life. And then there's a haze of smoke. Also enveloping the background of the skull, which represents confusion. It represents all the smoke from all the dope that I used to smoke also. And then below that we simply have the title of the book, sex, drugs, and Jesus, a memoir of sex self-destruction and resurrection. And so that's pretty much sums up the cover. So the process of writing this book started back in 2012 around about my probation had just been transferred from Houston to Baton [00:06:00] Rouge, and I knew that I had a story within BI.I had been thinking about writing books for years, but I never really had shit to say. And so once I hadn't done gone through all of this, I realized that it wasn't for me to path had been delivered from the strong problems that I had been delivered from. And then go have a quiet, peaceful, happy life and not say anything and not speak anything about the deliverance as the Lord had given me.And I, whether you believe in God or not this sort of story here, When someone comes from so many problems and they're able to overcome it, you can still appreciate the hustle and the struggle and the salvation of it all. And and I may mention God and Jesus and the holy ghost and all of them throughout this at some point. And I may not, but if I do, I'd just like to remind everyone that I don't think [00:07:00] Christianity is better than any other religion. And I don't think anybody is less than me if they don't worship God or anything like that. You know, I say it all the time. I love going and hanging out at the Buddhist temple and hanging around with other bald bitches like myself, because I feel seen and loved and all of that. And they make break vegetarian food too. So, so I started taking notes back, like in 2012 and. Ben was not put to paper to formulate an outline till around the time the Corona virus came to town. Now, during this time, my good friend to Theresa Hissong, who was also an author told me to to like D just get started on an outline. And I didn't, I didn't know where to start. I started taking notes and I had just a stack of tablets, just all kinds of thoughts that popped into my head as I was trying to get my life back together. And I was remembering everything that happened to me in Houston and when I was in the [00:08:00] air force and everywhere else that I had gone in my.In my life and I didn't know where to begin. And Theresa was just like, just store an outline, girl, just go from the beginning of your life up till now. And let me know when you've done that and we'll go from there. And so I did that. I started, I got the outline done and she was like, okay, now go back and take the main points and fill in paragraphs and everything like that. And so, and so I did that and After I got about 50,000 words in the book world, most books, they like, if you're going to write a book, you know, the powers that be like them to be like in the 50 to 60,000 word range minimum to you know, for it to be considered, you know, a serious literary work quote unquote. And so I did that. I wrote about 50, 60,000 words. Then I went about the business of finding me a ghost writer to help me because I realized that I was too emotional about everything that I was [00:09:00] writing. And I didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the story just so I can just do it all on my own at this point in my life.I know when I fucking need help. And so, and I'm not afraid to ask for it this time around. And so I went, you know, found somebody to. To take my thoughts and helped me to make sure that they're cohesive and it didn't come across as emotional spillage, you know, just word vomit all over the page. I needed to be sure we had some cohesive stories and concepts. No, he and I sat down for a couple of weeks and did interviews every day, you know, because he wanted his own perspective on everything that I had gone through, even though I had already written most of it out. And so I agreed to do that. That resulted in like a, about a 10,000 word outline and At the, at the end of the day, the book and ended up being over [00:10:00] 120,000 words. So strictly speaking it's about two books wrapped up in the one, but it ended up being very emotionally heavy for me to go through my story. And I did not want to go through this process twice and do like a part one and a part two I'm alive, and nobody got tired, but none of that, fuck it. I'm just going to give them these two books in one and be done with it.And plus, I don't like the TZ though, either I'm going to give you the damn thing or I'm not. And so, so it ended up being one book about 120,000 words of the paper copies, I think are about 330 pages. And something like that, the audio book, which I narrated myself as about 10 and a half hours. And so. So after me and the ghost rider got the outline together, like 10,000 words.I flew him down here to Louisiana because I wanted to take him to as many places as I [00:11:00]realistically could, considering we're in the middle of a pandemic and everything like that, and show him where certain things went down because I wanted this writing to be as real. And, and, and just that, wouldn't just bring you into the room, into the moment with me as much as I could. So we went around places in Baton Rouge, where I was born, where I went to high school. We, we went down to new Orleans, you know, where I went to my first gay bars and stuff like that when I was in high school. Oh God bless the gay bars in new Orleans, hallelujah, tabernacle and braise. We went over to Biloxi, Mississippi, where I was enlisted in the air force at Keesler air force base.We went over. The fucking goddamn Houston, Texas, you know where we're at, where I was a drug dealer where I got HIV, or I got hepatitis B or ended up homeless, you know, where all the shit, all the bad shit went down. Fuck. And so, and then while we were out on the road, we filmed a [00:12:00]docu-series, which is now live and fully edited and complete on my website to try to physically show you some of these places as well. And to bring it that much more to life. Now we were on the road and traveling about two or three weeks or something like that, trying to go to all of these cities and states. And so when that was done, you know, I sent him back home and everything like that. And then the, you know, the deep writing, you know, began, you know, the first draft was done and then all the editing and stuff like that commenced man is like, you can write a book in six months. You know, maybe two a year, and then you might be tempted to edit the motherfucker for another two or three years of no one would stop you. At some point along the way, me and this ghost rider had had a, I'll just say a parting of the ways of differences of perspectives. And so I've started the book by myself and then, so I ended it by myself.[00:13:00]It's not like I'm not a good writer. I just didn't necessarily trust that. I would tell my own story the best and be truly objective about it, which is why I hired a ghost writer in the first place. And so. Anyway. So we had our parting of the ways. And then I CA I, I finished the real rain, the, the arranging of the book of myself, and then I edited it and like a good 10 times or something like that. And then until I was finally done, and one thing about writing a book it's becomes like your baby, you just want to keep fucking with it than fucking with it and tweaking it, everything. And he's like in girl, at some point, you'd have to put the pin down, push a laptop back and just press publish. And You know, I say, just press publish. It's not that simple. When you're publishing a book in self publishing, like I did, it's many intricate things that you got to learn, how to do. You gotta get your own bar codes, technically speaking, Amazon, you know, in different places, we'll [00:14:00] provide you a barcode, but you can get your own barcode, your ISB in, I think that's like an international book standard number or some shit like that. What that stands for is that number that's under the book, the barcode. So you got to get that going. You gotta find some, you know, somebody to design you a book cover then you got to format it. So, you know, writing the book, one thing in my God, you know, Microsoft word is not necessarily the most book friendly app out there.I'm just going to say that now there are other options, better, better options available to you. So typing it up as one thing, formatting it so that it will be accepted wherever you're trying to submit it as another. So then I had to find a format or then the book cover is another thing, having it designed is one thing. Now you have to have it, you know, the margins and everything fitted and trim that to wherever it is, you're trying to publish the book, but there's another thing. And so then you got to determine [00:15:00] where you want to distributed and everything like that. I went with the hard cover and the paper back with Amazon, the electronic version I went through. I went through a company called draft the digital pretty gnarly. You can submit your electronic book to that one interface, draft the digital, and then they'll send it out to many different retailers and everything like that. A subsidiary of them is called find a way voices. And that's who I used to post my audio book, which would then send them. Sent it to like 44 different retailers. And so you know, so gone are the days where we have to, you know, go to each website and try to post, you know, our work and like Amazon, for instance, prints on demand. So gone are the days where the author has to buy a shitload of their own books and carry them around in a trunk and hope people will buy them, you know, thank God for the [00:16:00] digital era.It has made shit so much easier. And so if anybody ever has any questions about the book process, you can email me. I'm happy to make it a lot less of a headache for you than it was for me. And so, and so, you know, now it's published and everything like that, and I'm putting it those far and praying it, those wide, I'm praying that it helps someone, the whole point of writing all this, besides the fact that I felt like it was my obligation to do so is transparent. When I went through everything that I went through, sometimes I think even to this day, like I wonder if it would have turned out differently. Had I known someone who was going through or who had gone through the struggles that I was going through at the time, but me and my friends were too busy running around doing cocaine at the club, trying to be cute, say thin, trying to get down to a negative fucking two you know, and our waste and everything like that, you know, and trying to look like we had it [00:17:00] together and we're too perfect, but we were never discussing each other's weaknesses and problems and vulnerabilities and struggles. We have time for all that. We were constantly trying to Kiki and everything like that and turn the fuck up. And so when shit got bad and shit got real, I can feel like I can go to them. I wasn't raised, I was raised in the south in Louisiana. Down here, the grownups try to act like they have it all together and don't have any problems, or I didn't feel like I could go to my parents. They'd never shown me them going through a problem. So, so I said, fuck all this, this time, I'm going to be the transparent one. I'm going to put all my shit out there for the world to examine, pick at review, whatever the case may be. And the people who need help, we'll be able to know that at least this motherfucker right here has gone through what they've been through. And ain't ashamed to talk about it because bitch, it is what it is. I did what I did. I didn't said what the fuck I said, I have suffered from, I have suffered [00:18:00] from much of what I've done. And so, you know, so I hope, you know, I hope, you know, my willingness to bare my soul and embarrass all of my things that would make most people ashamed that embarrassed, you know, hopefully it helps you. It's still worth it to me. Doesn't bother me at all.And so, like I said, I like to be very strategic with everything. And so each of these chapter titles, you know, has a special meaning to me, you know, tell you what those are. There's 20 core chapters in this book, not including the prologue. There's an epilogue as a standalone story in the back, which is echo throughout the main text. But then we really, you know, present to you the whole reason why it was teased throughout the book. And it's called wisdom in Witchery that's the standalone story [00:19:00] at the back.So the prologue is called SWOT S w a T special weapons and tactics. Maybe we've seen the SWAT movie, the SWOT TV series, I believe there was a TV series and everything like that. So for those of you who may not know what a SWAT team. The, this is the special division of the police department that comes to your door. They don't knock on it. They take this, I guess, this Ram thing, whatever the fuck it is. And they just knock the bitch and you have to be a serious enough criminal, or they have to believe you're serious enough criminal to send the SWAT team to come and get yo ass. So I so this, this first, so this opening prologue here has to do with the way my big drug arrest went down. They sent the SWAT team in, [00:20:00] oh my God. It had to be at least 2047. But, you know, men armed with semiautomatic rifles, the Kevlar vests the face shields and got damn canine dogs running around knocking shit over helicopters, the whole nine, like I am, they were serving me up. Like I was Frank Lucas, John Gotti, you know, somebody like back, you know, it talks about that day, you know, how it went down and everything like that. And that time was pivotable pivotal because that drug raid after that is when I became homeless. You know, you kind of, can't go back to your apartment and live there after SWAT had to come get you, you then I was so ashamed and embarrassed and had so much other stuff going on. I, at that point I had lost the will to live and everything like that. And so I wanted to open the book with the, probably one of the most pivotal stories in the, in the whole book. And that has happened in my life. [00:21:00] The book is divided into five parts. Part one covers my life from 1982 to the year 2000. It opens up with a dream that I had. There's two dreams in this book. This is the what two dedicated dream pages in this book. Other ones are mentioned throughout the texts. I'm a gift that dreamer, I started dreaming around the time. I was like maybe like five years old. So when I say a dreamer, that means what I see in at night, or whenever I fall asleep, if I doze off right now, I'm going to have a dream. You know, whatever it is that I dream will come true, or it could be something that's already happened or it could be something that's currently happening. Dreaming spiritually speaking is like is a form of prophecy and a true gift of prophecy. It's past, present and future. So when God grants you sight, God sees all that has been all.[00:22:00] It will be. And all that is now, the prophecy I'm talking about is true to, to form like how you read about in the Bible and stuff like that. Not what these motherfucking preachers be doing now. Every other word out of their mouth, they say, I prophesied this. I prophesied that. I'm not talking about just speaking positive things about what you want to happen.I'm talking about a divine word from God about what has been, what is, or what most surely will be. That's the sort of dreamer I am. And the only time in my life that I didn't dream was from the time that that I got. Kicked out of Lakewood church did the time about five or six years later that I began to reconcile with God that, that, that devastation and all that was going on in my life was the only thing that ever closed my dreams off to me.But other than that, I see baby. I see. [00:23:00] And so, so we opened up with a beautiful dream. I'm talking with evangelist Nelson, who was my spiritual counselor in life. And now that she's transitioned over as a spirit, she still guides me and speak with, speaks with me in spirit form. I know many of you have ancestors and elders who have gone before. And crossed on over and they still come back and visit you in dreams. Some of you are clairvoyant yourself and you can see them, you can talk to them. Some of you might be smelling their fragrance that they used to wear, or that dish that they used to cook, you know, and it brings you back into memory. Some of them, you know, that's that spirit of that, of that deceased person hanging around you and helping you and stuff like that. I don't like to refer to dead people as you know, like they used to exist cause they still exist. They're just no longer doing the things that pertain to this physical form where they haven't ceased to be.And that helps me to keep a strong connection with [00:24:00] those who I can't can no longer physically reach out and touch. The title of the first chapter is called Jim stone. I, my God, I love collecting crystals and gemstones. I'm a licensed massage therapist. I have used them in my practice. I started collecting them though, as since I was a child, they, there used to be a thing called the discovery channels store and used to go to the mall back. When people went to malls and go into the store, you can get all your telescopes, a little dinosaur, figurines, geos rocks, and everything like that. And I fell in love with those also whenever, when the, when the Lord first called me and appealed to me, to minister for him to, to, to, to be used with him. And I was very, very young. And in this dream, it was a golden cross made out of the finest periods of gold. And it was covered in every kind of color gemstone on the sides around the top, the body underneath the arms of [00:25:00]the cross and everything. And it was spinning around. And a circle and it came and stood before me and I got the sense that it was pleading and in, and from that moment, you know, I felt like I was marked and I felt like I was set on a certain trajectory. You know, that I, that wouldn't be fulfilled for many, many, many, many years to come. But I was changed in that moment, in that dream. And that was when the Lord officially called me. I was about maybe like five or six years old when I started dreaming, when I started seeing, and that was my calling. I encourage everyone. And I challenge everyone to question your spiritual leaders find out when they were called, when did God first speak to them? And in what way did he do it? God speaks to us in many ways. I'm not saying they had to have been called the way I was called, but you know, when you read through the Hebrew Bible, [00:26:00] You know, a lot of times there's a point where a person is not being used of God.And then there is a point where God crosses paths with them. Maybe he sent an angel, maybe he sent a prophet to maybe he appeared to them in a dream like he did with Solomon and Joseph and the patriarchs. You know how you know, question your spiritual leaders find out when them people recalled that not everybody who's running a church is truly called. And then everyone who calls themselves a preacher is really a preacher. Be careful about that. And so chapter one, you know, growing up in the hood, you know, I was raised in the hood. The neighborhood was so dangerous. My parents wouldn't allow me out the yard, crack houses everywhere I would come to learn later on, I was almost kidnapped as a child. It was a whole thing. Chapter two, it's called changes that talks about a lot of rapid changes that happened. You know, like when I was in school, You know, [00:27:00] moving around from house to house PA problems within the house paint problems between my parents that were going on and, you know, all kinds of drama and stuff like that, that really made for a very unstable childhood. And it wasn't until years later that I was older and I realized, you know, my grades didn't fall because, you know, I wasn't smart or necessarily wasn't grasping the subject material, but I very firmly and thoroughly understand now how an unstable household and an inconsistent child hood can make somebody do poorly in school. So so that's why chapter two was called changes. It just talks about the inconsistency of my childhood and how erratic it was. Then we go right into part two. We didn't want to spend a whole lot of time on the background. Although the background is plenty dramatic enough to keep your [00:28:00] attention. This is a fairly thick book, like I say, at 330 pages over 120,000 words, but I have found it to be a very quick read. And so so part two covers my life from, to the year 2000 to the year 2006. Chapter three is called basic training because we opened right up with me going to the Lackland air force base in San Antonio, Texas to join the United States air force. And, you know, we built over, you know, some of the, the, the crazy shit that happens when you get a whole bunch of men together, you know, trying to, to. To fight to get into the military and not, you know, get sent home or discharged before you have a chance to even make it out of training. Basic training was six and a half weeks at Lackland air force base, which is, which is in San Antonio.Texas was hot as hell, hot as Satan's ball's sack out there. My God, you never seen a [00:29:00] black man tan. Oh, I was so much darker than that. What I am now. Good. God almighty. You were talking about like 120 degree, like desert heat, unforgiven on forgiving, you know, basic training covers that people are very interested in behind the scenes, look at the military. And so I really wanted to give you that. And yes, there's a lot of gay shit that happens in the military. There's so many gay people in the military, but there always has been a bitch. There always will be. I just wish there had been more orgies or some shit like that. And so in basic training, That's where I met my best friend, Adam, who I'm still friends with to this day in, you know, we kind of go from there.Chapter four is called rank and file. And this covers when I get out of a training and now I'm in what they call the operational air force quote, unfucking quotes. And I get to Davis Monthan air force base in Tucson, Arizona. And this. [00:30:00] Fall in love with the desert. I had never been this far west before I was 17 when I went to the air force in, in, so I was just young spring chicken from the country.Green is Hale green, this fucking hell. You know, I've driven all the way this far out west the Tucson, nothing but light brown desert everywhere, cute little road runners. Cactus is like, you know, the prevalent Greenidge you know, depending on where you go in much of the city. And so surprisingly refreshed by how refined a desert landscape is.It's very minimalist compared to. You know, having a whole lot of foliage around, I love me a good desert landscape, a lot of rocks, either yard to maintain, you know, there's no grass, so, you know, no need to pay a gardener, you know, or anyone like that. And so in this chapter, [00:31:00] we also get into like the the gay bashing, the, the, you know, the, all the hate speech and things like that, that I received while I was in the air force for not being straight. And so I was fortunately able to make it out of there without a dishonorable discharge for not being straight. But, you know, so many of my fellow service members got bad conduct discharge, or other than honorable discharges, just because of their sexuality. Now, I am thankful that they have started to reverse those decisions for my fellow service members and upgrade their enlistment.Well, so you so many service members listening, you can call, reach out to the DAV, the disabled veterans of America probably the American Legion or some sort of veterans service organization. And talk to them about getting your enlistment upgraded if you got kicked out for not being [00:32:00]straightened. So for those of you who don't know, there's different, when you get discharged from the military, you're rated a certain way, honorable all the way down to like dishonorable you've got bad conduct, medical discharges, other than honorable, it matters about your benefits. If you have like say a bad conduct discharge, then you don't get like access to your education. Definitely not your housing. And just certain like your medical list, certain benefits that I still benefit from this day, having served in the military, but I have an honorable discharge, another veteran may not, you know, so like I was able to get my house without paying the down payment because of the VA.Well, a veteran with a bad conduct, discharge pin can take advantage of that. I'm able to go to the VA for health care. If they have a bad conduct discharge, I don't believe that they can take advantage of that. Now I do know that no matter what the discharge status is, you can [00:33:00] go, a veteran can go to the VA, the department of veterans affairs, the VA hospital, a medical clinic for mental health. No matter what you can go there for free mental health, but they may not see you for like general health care. We all know how much healthcare costs, you know, there's a big difference. If you can go to the VA for free healthcare, which is like what I get versus having to pay for it out of pocket. If you don't have an employer or even pay some other ridiculously high amounts of money, these employers be wanting you to pay as well. That's like life changing stuff, you know, and to have that taken from you, just because of your sexuality, wasn't right in the first damn place. But you know, at least, you know, at least that wrong is being made right now. But many of my fellow service members have died, you know, waiting for changes like this.and so the next chapter is chapter five and that's called into the Aurora sea. [00:34:00] Sothe title of this one reflects what I saw when I went to my first rave. So out there. In in Tucson, they would have what's called desert parties. And basically this would be like a big ass Reva. So we've got all the glow sticks. The Aurora sea is comprised of all the blow sticks and photon lights and shit like that, that people would dance around with. These will be considered at least some mine underground parties. So these, you know, it's like, like out in the woods, but the woods is the desert. So you're on a paved road and driving Southern, you're going to turn off onto like gravel road and then go back into like a wild cactus wilderness and find this party.Thousands of people, you know, big name DJs, which are on the circuit back then. Mixed mastermind, DJ, Irene, people like that. And so I had a lot of fucking fun out there in the desert [00:35:00] and I'll thought it was so damn fun. I would title the chapter after it, in this chapter, we get into my heavy volunteer.I'm big in the volunteer rhythm in public service, you know, there was, I wouldn't have gone in the fucking military if I didn't give a damn about public service. And we talk about some of the volunteer thing that I did and stuff like that. And like say choreographing, the girl's dance routine. I was asked by somebody to choreograph a dance routine because I had taken dance in high school. And also I was able to do that. It was great. And then in the chapter, I talk about how I immediately felt like, you know, ashamed for not being straight wondering what would be found out because here I am, this big gay choreograph or on stage, you know, performing a number with these kids on a military base, you know, very interesting the way that we were able to to bring out that contrast. And it was so when you're serving in the military back in those days during [00:36:00] Diana's, don't tell, and you're not straight. On the one hand, you're happy to be there. On the other hand, you're always wondering if you're going to do some shit that's going to get you found out. And so you have like a high level of paranoia and shadow hanging over you every day.And you know, there's no wonder why so many services, so many service members get, leave the military fucked up and would all kinds of mental health issues. And they know that shit. And that's why they that's why they, they allow you every service member, no matter the, the, the rating and the nature and the quality of the discharge to go to the VA for free mental health, because they know they fucked each and every last one of us up on some damn level,And then also in this chapter, we were talking about me losing my virginity and you know, beginning to get curious about sexual exploration and everything like that. I tell you it was a bitch to do being in the military during don't ask. Don't tell because I couldn't go get a [00:37:00] boyfriend. I couldn't really do anything to be consistent and stable.I knew I probably have to move be sent to a different base eventually. So I just turned into a how, yeah, I was a total slut, you know, it was what it was like I said, I did what it did.And so then the next chapter is called curiosity. And then the chapter curiosity covers montage. My brief stint in recruiter school, before I moved on over to California. You know, I talk about my job when I, when I get to Davis mountain air force base, I'm working on aircraft that runs its course, and I'm like, fuck, this, I'm gonna become a recruiter. So now it's time to head over to California. So in this chapter here I get into The more scandalous side, say of the military, you know, how has the military recruiter? They tried to get me to lie [00:38:00] to my recruits and shit like that. Not abso-fucking-lutely refuse to do it. I was not about to get my ass shot up and Southern California, you know, not knowing who knows who, because the air force wants me to lie to, to a person about how they're, you know, what their, what their job in the military has done a B.So like when you go to the military, you don't just go to go to war. Like you have to have. And occupation a nine to five job that you're going to do every day. Be that cook food in the cafeteria, chow hall, a mess hall, whatever the fuck you want to call it, be it be a recruiter, an aircraft mechanic, photographer, journalist, public relations. And I see a military base is set up to function all by itself without any need of the outside world. So any job you can imagine on the outside world exists in the military in some form or another calibrating instruments, flying planes, you know, there, you know, there's all [00:39:00] kinds of stuff that you can do, administration, HR type work in the military, you know? And so it's not cool, you know, for the air force to have total. Yeah, Jake wants to be a photographer, but we want him to be security forces and be the police anyway. So a lot of him about the photographer job and tell him that's not available and we're going to go ahead and put him in this security forces job.And we just want you to convince him to take it. You know, that's the kind of scandalous shit that they will do. I tell my supervisors to go fuck themselves. And so they didn't go over too well. And my God, I barely made it. So thinking of discharge ratings, I barely made it out of the air force with a honorable discharge.I got to what they call an article 15, which is a bad thing to get. Is that something that, okay, so there exists something called the uniform code of military justice that UCMJ and that damn evil [00:40:00]ass book. It's it's like the damn dark hold or some shit from the Avengers. It's just that fucking evil book that can ruin your life. And then any little damn thing you can do, they'll find a way to make it wrong and then they can try to find a way to throw you out. And so, so this chapter gets into the, into, into my fight against the military and and I call it curiosity because, well, I got curious about some things I, in this trap that I began to try to turn myself straight. You know, the church had told me I was going to burn up and go to hell for not being straight. And I got this idea in my head. Well, I can hang around with straight guys. I can get me a girlfriend and I can like pray the gay away. And so I tried to fast and pray and spread myself out before the Lord and okay. And I'm gonna put some some works [00:41:00] behind this faith. And so I'm gonna go get me some girls and go fuck me some pussy and everything like that and make myself straight. I even got penthouse and Playboy magazines and cut out all the naked women and everything like that. And it plastered the walls of this room that I was staying in with nothing but vagina.I suppose I was trying to brainwash myself, I guess I thought if I looked at all of these naked women, I'll get more into it and stuff like that, girl, I'm here. I'm here to tell you right now that shit don't work. I am one of the most determined people. I know when I get an idea in my head, I'm going to do that fucking shit. And I have called upon the Lord for many things in my life. He's given me and he's answered me. He's given me dreams, you know, that have come true. As I stated, he's even showing me things in my dreams about other people that I did not ask him. So what [00:42:00] you might ask meone time, I had a dreamabout somebody who had had, it was the guy wasn't the girl, like they, there was like some sort of abortion or something that had happened. The Lord had brought this up to me. And so I asked him about it. Now, look, the Lord didn't tell me it was right or wrong. But sometimes when we do things and it's bothering us, then the Lord will reveal it to somebody. So that he, so that the Lord can send you an answer of peace through that person, because the Lord doesn't want us racking our minds over stuff. And so when I told them about the dream and the, and the Hebrew Bible says the prophet that has a dream, let him tell the dream. Okay. And so I told this dream, and then he clammed up and he was like, you know, don't tell [00:43:00] anyone.I was like, okay. So this taught me a few things. I was like, okay. So the Lord was showing me stuff and other people's life up until this point, I had only seen things pertaining to me, or sometimes I would have dreams about hurricanes and things like that before they would happen, which, you know, affected other people, but nothing ever this person, all about someone else. But, you know, I must remind people there, anything you can hide from the Lord. You can see your thoughts, your feelings, you know, your emotions everywhere you go, everything, you say, everything, you do be it about someone else about yourself or whatever. You cannot hide from God. And so this person clammed up and, you know, in that moment, if I ever had any doubt, the way that they were like, don't tell anyone, you know, I know that what I had seen was true and it had happened and I know God very, very well and of all the bad and stupid shit that I have [00:44:00] done.God, always, Tim came to me with an answer, a peace via directly through my evangelists, Nelson, my pastor, God is not interested in beating up, beating us over the head or trying to force us to do right. Right. You know, even though he could force us, he doesn't want to, he wants us to make the decision ourselves and and he wants to stay in a peace. And so. The only thing that God would have, you know, had me tell him with some sort of answer of peace, you know, what had done happened and happens. So there was no sense in hanging around feeling guilty about it now. and so I'm saying all that to say, the Lord speaks to me heavily you know, in my dreams and stuff like that. But the Lord has never, ever once shown me in a dream that he would prefer me to have a different sexuality. And so if he, if he, if God's gonna give me dreams to other people, and he's given me more dreams than that over the years that have to do with other folks, you know, I go and talk to them about it and we [00:45:00] deal with it and we work out whatever the message is.You know, it as much as I prayed and facet and did all of this stuff. The only thing that I feel like God is telling me about this from this period of time, where I try to ungay myself is to not try to engage myself. I don't believe he wants me any other way. And so if he wanted to, he would have responded. He would have sent me a dream of something. But the only voices in my head that have ever said anything was wrong with my sexuality was other people, conservative people, people who feel like they have a mastery over the interpretation of the Bible, which nobody does. No, man does. You know, I wrote my book, sex, drugs, and Jesus.I wrote that book. I'm the only person who can say that they're an expert on this and knows what every word means. Indisputable. So I don't accept the concept of biblical experts and stuff like that. The Hebrew Bible is someone [00:46:00] it's not even a one book, but it's comprised of many different authors in many different books from many different years ago in, in different languages. And, and I don't, and I just don't accept anybody saying that, that they know exactly what the Bible says and their way of looking at it is the only way it should be looked at. And if you don't look at it their way, then you're going to die and go to hell. Those, all of those people can go and fuck themselves in the ass with a porcupine dildo with like lava on the end of it or some shit like that. And so now I'm still very much not straight. I feel like my sexuality has been kind of fluid over the years, but Dick is a beautiful thing. It really, really is a beautiful thing. So in this. So in this chapter, you know, I don't recommend for anybody to [00:47:00] fucking go to the military at 17. You just to underdeveloped, you got so much growing to do.And so this chapter is going through me, making mistakes. People do. When they're a kid, I was a child, you know, doing a grown man's job. I did it well, but feel it affected me heavily and still to this day, you know, the military was very traumatizing for me. And you know, in this chapter, we're going through my wardrobe changes, you know, I'm from the country.I don't know fashion. I got to learn fashion. Now I'm out here in California looking like animate Bullock from Bush, Tennessee. That's Tina Turner. For those of you who don't know who I'm referencing, you, haven't seen the movie what's love got to do with it. D rich bitch. That's a hell of a motherfucking movie. And so I had to learn how to dress out there in California. You know, everybody's so confident with themselves or at least they appear to be on the surface. And I really, really love that [00:48:00] at the very least the very beautiful state and people care about, you know, appearances. I don't feel like that has to be a bad thing.I don't, I am not on board with the way people will do in the south and go out with rollers in, they head than a bathrobe on to go down to the store and everything like that. Girl. Bye. And so you would never see no shit like that out in LA. And so I don't think it has to be, has to mean you're superficial because you care about how you look.I think you caring about how you present yourself, you know, is important to your own self-esteem and is important if you want people to take you seriously. And so I'm not saying change the gain acceptance, but if you can go out with rollers in your head, don't be surprised if people don't want to hang around you. That's what I'm saying. And so I have to learn, you know, how to dress, how to put clothes together and stuff like that. You know, by the time I left California, you [00:49:00] know, I was in cowboy boots, designer, jeans, you know, shopping at Nordstrom and shit like that, whether I could afford to, or not, because for fuck's sake, I was terrible with money. But you know, that's what that chapter is all about. Chapter seven, it's called. 'cause I was so fucking bad at it. I almost got kicked out of the military for writing bad checks that I didn't have enough money in the bank to cover. I didn't know that that could be a misdemeanor or felony, depending on the amount had no idea.I had no fucking idea. And so that's a whole run in with, with, with the police and everything like that. And so in this chapter, I also talk about my first exposure to Joel Osteen and Lakewood church and how it was so inspired by watching him on TV and how that church was one of the primary decisions I left California and moved to Houston, Texas in the first place.I should have stayed my ass in California, but [00:50:00] live and learn. Right. And so, and there's some more scandalous shit about the military and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The military is very scandalous. Look, if anybody's ever going to go to the military bitch, I'm gonna tell you right now, do you like a quick, like two and a half year enlistment, four year don't stay in there that damn long, because you don't have to stay in there. But for one term to have, like for your housing benefits, you can have a service disconnected pension that will pay you for the rest of your life. Just from serving that one enlistment, you don't have to stay in there 20 years to retire. It's stressful on your children. You know, if you have them moving around like that, and it's also stressful on you moving around like that. Now look, if you in a terrible, terrible situation, running from gangs or some crazy shit, the military might be better than, you know, if it's the lesser of two evils, then for fuck's [00:51:00] sake, pissed pick the military. What I'm saying is don't get in there and get so damn comfortable that you feel like you got to stay forever.Because you can benefit greatly from that one enlistment from the rest of your life, if you work it right. And while you're in there, they're going to pump you up and try to make it seem like you're everything. And you're so important, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, dish. They will kick you out in a moment's notice if they feel like you're not perfect enough. But that's the thing that I hate about the military is they, they, they, they tell us that we're better than civilians. We have to do everything a hundred percent, right. 99% is unacceptable. And then when we come out of the military, it's hard to adjust down. You know, you've told me for years that I'm better than everyone else in the world. Now I've got to learn to get along with everyone else in the world. That's just after my six year enlistment, imagine somebody after 20 people, it's hard to go into the military and come out with a fully sound mind. So I say, take what you can get and leave bitch. So then we get into [00:52:00] part three par three covers my life from the year 2006 to the year 2012.This, this is the second dream here. Elongated dream that I talk about this dream here speaks to the dark times that are to come in my feature though. I don't know how this is not the only dream God gave me about the dark times that were to come. This is one of the ones that that I wanted to mention though. But the spirit was speaking to me all throughout my life about the times that were going to come. I don't think there's anything that I could have done to avoid going through all the, all the trauma and everything like that. For what it did, they're refined to me and it's like, it's shaved off. It's like, it's like, it's shaved off things that I didn't need, like pride and ego arrogance conceitedness. And [00:53:00] over dependency on myself being overly self-sufficient. And what I mean by that is not enough true dependence on God. Okay. Yeah. I'm confident and competent and able to get up and go and do things, but I need to give him more credit. And I also had an over dependency on church at, on preachers and all worship leaders, people call themselves pastors and whatever.I put too much stock into them. And so I'm very, very thankful for the dark times that came because it took all of that out of me and whatever it was, however youthful. I thought I was the God with four. I lost everything. I'm way more useful to him now. After having lost everything for and losing everything physically.Well, shit, I lost my fucking mind too. You know, I gained so much more, you know, spiritually and internally thinking, speaking. So we get into that very, very dark [00:54:00] dream there, mid chapter eight, it's called welcome to Houston. I that's the best thing I could think, because you know, at this time I'm still optimistic about going to Houston.I'm thinking I've got this bright future ahead of me and everything like that. I didn't think you know, and I'm going to Houston, I'm going to join Lakewood church. I made it out of the military without a bad conduct discharge. And so let's go to the third, fourth, largest city with the largest church in America and let's just do great things.Shit.Trying to get a job after serving in the military. Try that depending on what your job was in the military may not necessarily transfer easily. It was so hard to get a job. I ended up working every fucking where walked off half the damn jobs that people pissed me off. I had anxiety and shit like that and mental health issues.I didn't know, coming out of the military too. So I had a very short fuse but it just talks about me getting settled into [00:55:00] Houston, getting settled into Lakewood and, you know, thinking that life's just going to be great. Chapter nine is called aspirations. This talks about me moving forward in the Lakewood, going higher and volunteering stuff like that.Still talking about me being bad with money. I'm still a hell still fucking around. One of my favorite stories from there is where I got the DJ for an hour for the KSBJ God listens radio station. They're in Houston, Texas. And so that was cool.Really, really cool to have my home playlist on the radio for an hour. That was that some shit that I would do again. And so, cause I love making music and playing music and stuff like that. This chapter gets into my, a short stint at the Houston graduate school of theology because I was gonna have this whole big idea.I was going to go to church and become a I don't know, I guess I wanted to become like a worship leader, maybe a slash [00:56:00] preacher worship leader. And I wasn't gonna go get me a degree in theology because like every fucking body who was on staff at a church had a degree in theology, but I'm so glad I left that bitch.I left because one of the professors told us that they like to control people in church. And I was just like, I don't want to control people. I don't know why you think it's okay to just say that. So casually. But I'm glad I didn't, I don't have a degree from a seminary. I took like five or six classes and then that was it.I mean, I'm happy for what I learned, but you know, my evangelists Nelson, the preachers and the true profits and prophetesses that I grew up around didn't have degrees when they preach, they just spoke from their lived experiences, what God, or whatever the holy ghost was telling them then. So there was no prerecorded message.Pre-written sermon to be reviewed by the board at church or whatever. However, the fuck these people do it. There wasn't no iPad [00:57:00] for them to preach from. There was nothing. They went up there just with a Bible in their hand and the word of God and their mouth period done, period, that sort of preaching feels more authentic to me because, you know, people can use word play.To hypnotize you and mesmerize you and stuff like that, especially they have enough time to write out the speech. There's no different than what a president does or what a CEO does. Everything is intentional. You know, I'm not really fond of the word of God being written by a human in an intentional way like that, because I don't know how much of that shit is divine. How much of it is just him. And please believe that when these preachers speak, not every fucking word, if any, that comes out of some of their miles is of God. But when these people here, you know, the people who raised me with preach, you know, they just got up there and rolled and them preachers could preach for hours, baby, trust me, [00:58:00] I hated sitting in church for fucking three hours, but, but as they would say, when the spirit was moving, they would let him move.and so I feel more like. Like justified to preach and speak the way that I do though. And I say, I'm a preacher, a preacher is anybody who speaks the word of God. Yeah. I am a licensed and ordained minister, but I only got that to, to like marry my friends and shit. If they ever came there became a day in time where they couldn't find someone to marry them because they're not straight.I don't believe in the need to go to school to learn how to preach. I don't believe the way how they do here in the south. People go and get what's called like missionary licenses, because the denomination wants them to be licensed to carry the word, I guess. Or maybe this means they pass some class, or course I'm like bitching that you called or you not, you know, I don't think the prophets of old Isaiah, [00:59:00] Jeremiah, the apostles, when the new Testament had licenses, I don't think they went to school to learn the Lord, called him and dealt with them, justified them and send them.I'm glad I have none of those licenses and certifications and things like that. And then that way, you know, my, my word to use authentic and it's true. And it's from my lived experiences because I can't speak nothing I haven't been through or nothing that hasn't been divinely shown to me. And I don't want it to be all like like how in school, how everything is.Structured and methodical. I just like the free flow and the spirit, yo. And so then the next chapter is called debtors and collectors. I very beautifully open up this chapter with one of the first songs that came to me in a dream. So I hear a lot of music in my sleep and and so I'd get up and I go about the business of writing it out.And so I don't [01:00:00] know how these songs would ever be used. One day. I've been collecting them for many, many years. And and so I opened this chapter, chapter 10 debtors and Collette collectors with the song that I wrote, which is called worship while I live. If you get the audio book, you can hear me sing it.And and I call this chapter better than collectors because. Ciao. This is when my bad spending came to a head. So like I said, it's hard to get a job when you get out of the military. I got a job, but it was paying me far less than what I made in the military. And I was all these loans and shit. And I looked up online where you can do bankruptcy. So yes, I filed for bankruptcy, chapter 13, I think, whatever one that just wiped all the shit away, but it was a ding on my credit for like a decade after that. So yeah, I couldn't fast on filed for bankruptcy cause the bitch had bad spending habits. And so I did what [01:01:00] I did. but Hey, we can always get better, you know, about our spending and stuff like that.I talk in this chapter about the terrible job experience that I had working at the call center at CenterPoint energy, you know, in Houston, Texas fucking hurricane. I, you know, if you've never been through a hurricane, pray that you done. This is just pray that you don't pray that you down, but I go over the whole hurricane height experience and everything like that. And I don't know why the fuck they would name, you know, I'm thinking about I Turner, you know, I turned her, we'll be in the what's love, got to do with it, a movie. If you want to watch that, he's the man who physically abused Tina Turner and everything like that. I'm all like, I wish some of these damn people would think before they name some of these hurricanes, you know, they just give them some of the most like notorious names, like, fuck, what are they going to do next?Hurricane Satan? Or some shit like, please don't[01:02:00]and then let's see in chapter 11, it's called de-humanized. And so the core of this chapter here is me being fired from Lakewood church, from volunteering. And I call this chapter de-humanize because. That is how I felt. And it wasn't until I was talking to somebody a couple of months ago that they, that they gave me that word, you know, and I was explaining what happened. And they was like, you know, they be humanized you at Lakewood when they kicked you out, they told you, you weren't valuable and acceptable as you were. They stripped you of your humanity. And I was like, okay, I didn't know it was called that word, but that makes sense. You know, when someone tells you, you have to go.And so sometimes people will ask me, so did they tell you, you have to leave at Lakewood, but okay. Now if you tell somebody that they can no longer do the things that [01:03:00] draw them to the ministry, and then you tell them they can't do those things again, unless they change who they are. Are you not telling them to leave? The current form that they're in is certainly not welcome. You have established that there is ways to make people feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome without saying, Hey, Lee, You know, it doesn't have to be stated, you know, and I tried to go back there and sit in the audience, but it was too hard to do.I felt like people were looking at me and watching me. They found out on my MySpace page that I wasn't straight. And they said for that reason, I could no longer be in, in service of anything at Lakewood. And I was on Wednesday nights, I was a volunteer supervisor over all the other kids.Teachers is about 20 in total, 20 groups of kids, hundreds of fucking kids. I had my own class to teach. I was also in charge of the check-in process at the front, at the, at the check-in counter for all the kids into disputes that [01:04:00] happen. You know, I'm mediated that between the teachers and the parents.I sang, I was a worship leader for the kids too. And then also staying in the adult choir on the weekends. And they were like, you're fired from volunteering from all of that. Cause you're not straight. And, and they were like, we, you can't be over there hanging out in Montrose. Montrose is the gay district in Houston. They were like, you know, you can't be over there and I've come to learn that churches regulate people like this. Like there are staff members, churches will tell their staff members, you can't drink. You can't go here. You can't go there. That's how the military was with, with me too. They were like, even the military. We don't want you at this bar at this place. I don't know what the fuck, these organizations who they think they are, that they have. Dictate to a person what they're doing when they're not on, in this case, they, the church has time. I never bought boyfriends up to Lakewood. And none of that, when I was at Lakewood, I was on Lakewood's time.Okay. I [01:05:00] wasn't paid are none of this. And even if I was, it's none of their fucking business, what I'm doing when I'm not at church. And so they were like, well, one of the kids could have found your MySpace page. And I'm thinking that, you know, that shit, that kids do, you know, they have this glossy image of their children and I'm like, no, bitch, they would've done nothing more than what they're already doing. And so, so that was a devastating thing. You know, that, that, that, that was like a heartbreak that that's one of the top, definitely in the top two or three most terrible things that ever happened to me in my life. You know, up there with becoming homeless, getting HIV you know, having to deal with likely affairs that my dad had and things like that being kicked out of Lakewood churches is at the top of that list is that sort of trauma, the sort of shit that hurts you so deep. You just, you space out and you don't [01:06:00] think it's real, you just get numb and so much pain, you know, that's how that was.Just don't pass on from this chapter. But it was what it was par four covers my life when 2010 to 2012, Vish a lot can happen in two years, fuck me in the tits with a Dick shit can change. And so chapter 12 is called a fucking wreck. This statement here has two meanings. Personally. I was a fucking wreck after being kicked out of Lakewood and fired from volunteering, you know, internally I was a fucking wreck. And then I also literally had a fucking wreck because I was, I wasn't drunk, but I was very, very tired and fatigued. And I had heard the warnings about how it was not good to drink if you're tired because the alcohol can enhance the fatigue. And I didn't have that much to drink. Just a couple of bloody Mayer. I have been working like 12 hour shifts at the light company. No Houston. [01:07:00] And so I fell asleep at the wheel and I woke up to hitting light poles and every damn thing and total that car. And then that led me to buying my 2010 Ford Mustang. And I was the first person, I think, in Houston to have like a car, you know, that was that like that, that was a year. They changed the body style, you know, and they really, really tricked it out and amped up the Mustangs. It was a sick ass fucking car. and this chapter, we get into how I transitioned from being like this full-time church boy into this full time nightlife boy, that's my thinking. After I got kicked out of church, Yeah, they won't accept me. I know the streets will, so I'll start going to clubs and stuff a lot more so that I will feel loved. And so I didn't realize what I know now, how much we seek community. We're always going to find some type of bam tribes. So whether or not it's gangs, gamers, [01:08:00] you know playing video games, board games, you know, whether it's the hunting crew, the fishing crew, whatever the case may be, the fucking God damn croquet selling committee or whatever the fuck, bingo hall, whatever the fuck it is that you do.You're going to find some kind of way to connect with people. And so I didn't think, you know, to go to like a fine, I didn't know about like gay affirming churches. Some of the Presbyterian churches I think Lutheran, Episcopalian, metropolitan community churches. If you insist upon going to churches, they are actually churches out there who have gay pastors and leaders and stuff like that.We are not, you know, reduced to only going to these mainstream churches who don't like us and think we're wrong. They they're just what we tend to see a lot, but you have so many options if you're not straight. And my main message to the non straight people, when it comes to religion is stop going to churches where you were

Hello and welcome to red pill revolution. My name is Austin Adams. Thank you so much for listening today. This is episode number 30, two of the red pill revolution podcast. And again, thank you so much for joining me. We have a very interesting show for you guys today. Today's show is going to be all about an update from the Russia Ukraine war. I feel like it's been a while since we've heard anything about it. It's been a little bit since we've touched on what's actually going on there. So we're going to go over, uh, some, some really, uh, deep dives into the conversations and it's all going to be directly from the mouths of the presidents or whatever you want to call them from each country. So we're going to talk about Putin going over, why he believes there is currently food shortages who's fault. Meanwhile, while the U S is placing blame on the Putin price hike, a Russian president, Vladimir Putin thinks there's a different story to that. Also we're going to discuss, does Vladimir Putin have cancer and did he potentially survive an assassination attempt? Whoa. All right. Then we're going to talk about Zelenskyi, his recent speech about the war, and then the Putins most reasoned speech about the war. So all of this today is going to be directly from the mouths of the presidents, which are on each side of this war. So we'll get a completely non-biased approach and then we will discuss it on top of that. We're also going to discuss 80 soldiers at Fort Bragg who have recently died of sudden and unexplained deaths. So many deaths, in fact that the, uh, they basically stopped. Over a year ago, June of 2021, Fort Bragg stopped recording these deaths of these soldiers. So all of that, and more today, it's going to be a great episode. Now let's go ahead and do the full introduction and then we will discuss everything here today. So again, thank you so much for listening. Welcome to the revolution. welcome to red pill revolution. My name is Austin Adams. Red pill revolution started out with me realizing every thing that I knew, everything that I believed, everything I interpret about my life is through the lens of the information I was spoonfed as a child, religion, politics, history, conspiracies, Hollywood medicine, money, food, all of it, everything we know was tactfully written to influence your decisions and your view on reality by those in power. Now I'm on a mission, a mission to retrain and reeducate myself to find the true reality of what is behind that curtain. And I'm taking your ass with me. Welcome to the rebel. All right, again, episode number 20 or 32. Oh my gosh. Episode number 30, two of the red pill revolution podcast. So we're going to jump right into it today, guys. The first thing we're going to discuss is the Fort Bragg lost over 80 soldiers from sudden and unexplained causes to a point where they completely stopped reporting the deaths. After June of 2021. It's been a full year now where they have not been reporting these deaths. So I'm going to read this article. It says one of the largest military installations in the world, Fort Bragg is home to approximately 54,000 military personnel and includes the special forces, the airborne corpse, the joint special force operations command, and just 18 months Fort brag lost over 80 soldiers. From sudden and unexplained causes. According to officials, 33 of the fatalities are undetermined causes for Brad, cannot explain why dozens of soldiers are dying in their own bunks during the same 18 month period, three Fort Bragg soldiers died in overseas combat. Wow. So three soldiers died in the line of duty in the same time that more than 80 soldiers died unexplained in their beds. Now I'm not even going to jump into why I think that may be let's let the article do the talking and then we'll discuss it after. But I think that's pretty unbelievable. Three soldiers died overseas in combat at Fort Bragg, which is a special forces base while 80 soldiers died from unexplained causes. Wow. So it says, this means that soldiers stationed at Fort Bragg are 27 times more likely to die unexpectedly in their. Then they are in overseas, combat Fort Bragg stops reporting the soldiers deaths after dozens of soldiers are found dead in their bunks and investigative reporter for rolling stones magazine. Seth harp has been looking into this medical anomaly on February 9th, 2022. Seth reported that the death of 83 soldiers at Fort Bragg in the 18 months ending in June, 2021, Fort Bragg stopped reporting the fatalities after June, 2021, but the bowtie counts continue to rise out of the 83 sudden unexplained fatalities. 11 of them were determined to be from natural causes. Imagine that the healthiest soldiers in the world, these special forces soldiers at a special forces base. Now they're not all special forces, obviously. Um, but it's a pretty damn healthy base. Uh, 27 times more likely to die unexplained unexpectedly in there. Then from actual combat. Um, so it says that 11 of them were determined to be from natural causes. Heart wrote that Fort Bragg soldiers have been turning up unresponsive in their barracks on a disturbingly regular basis since the beginning of 2020, including Qaeda, Caleb Smith, Terrence Salazar, Jamie bogger, Joshua diamond, Matthew Disney, McKell Rubino, Michael Hamilton and numerous others who have not been named drugs were involved in the deaths of Joshua diamond and Matthew Disney. The two were found dead on the same day in June, 2021, just two weeks after airborne master Sergeant Martin S ACV. The third was caught trafficking cocaine. Wow. Okay. That took a turn. Drugs are only a small part of the problem in January of 2021 army captain Robert Latham died suddenly after an apparent heart attack. The 32 year old was previously in top physical condition of green Baret named Calvin Rockwood passed away from a sudden and unexplained medical event. The 38 rule was an excellent physical condition as well. According to Seth nine more young and fit soldiers were found unresponsive in their bunks, the us army and Fort Bragg refuse to report on the surgeon deaths disrespecting the soldiers and their families. Could there be a serious drug problem going on at Fort Bragg? Could these deaths indicate a surge in suicides and overdoses? The military continues to be assaulted by mandates that harm soldiers, physically and mentally the vaccine mandates damage combat readiness while banishing the strongest healthiest freedom fighters from the. Now I think that's interesting to note, um, the military had a complete and total, uh, any, basically anybody who refused to get vaccinated got thrown out. Now, I personally know of a soldier who literally lost eyesight after being forced to take the vaccine. Um, and then they wouldn't give him an honorable discharge to get out. It's it's, it's unbelievable to me, the way that their military has been going about this. Now, what I think this has to do with more so even than the vaccine is getting agreeable soldiers, you can find very easily find where party lines lie. When you talk about vaccine mandates, it's a weird thing that medical science has to somehow be politicized to the point where, you know, if you're unvaccinated, you're probably laying on one side and if you're vaccinated, you're probably lying on the other. Um, sometimes it intermingles, but in this case, a lot of times that holds true. So in the military, if you just do a massive basically, uh, you know, kicking out of everybody who does not decide to get vaccinated, you're basically kicking out anybody who disagrees with the political ideology of the president who held office or holds office. And I saw a video the other day I was on Tik TOK or something, um, where there was literally a soldier who was talking and saying how he was, uh, he always, he thought he was going to be the only one who was getting kicked out for not taking the vaccine. And he showed up for his discharge and, uh, unbeknownst to him, there was a huge line of soldiers who were being discharged specifically because of their medical status. Crazy, crazy. So this article goes on to say, The military has medical database explodes with a thousand percent increase in medical issues in 2021. Now you have to realize that our soldiers have to be within a certain age. When I was in, I believe the oldest that you could enlist was about 29. I was 18 when I enlisted, but I believe when I was enlisting, the oldest, you could be as 29. Now you can get like a medical waiver up to 39, but you're young, right? You're pretty damn young if you're going into the military. So a thousand percent increase in medical issues in 2021 X like exactly proceeding the time when they did a forced vaccination. Now, it's also interesting to note that you'll get a bunch of other vaccines when you go into the military. You know, I think this is an interesting conversation. When I went as, when I was in the military, I've literally, before I went in the military, I never in my life saw somebody. Pass out, just, just close their eyes and just completely passed out. Now, if you go to any single military parade, like a graduation parade in the military, you're going to see more people pass out in a single parade than you've ever seen in your entire life ever. So, you know, when you go into the military, any vaccinations that you haven't had, you literally go through a line where they give you dozens, like dozens of vaccines. Um, you know, you get a penicillin shot, which you call the peanut butter shot because it leaves, you know, this big, huge bump in your body that you gotta like rub out on the floor. Um, you get a bunch of, bunch of vaccines that they give you in, that they give you a penicillin shot, literally for no reason, no reason at all. They give you the shot. It makes no sense. Um, but they give it to you. They give you every vaccine that they can think of because to them, you're like livestock, you're a number. And if you cost them money, because there's an outbreak of whatever, uh, you know, your livestock to them. So they just jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, Uh, regardless of what your belief systems are, regardless of any exemptions you think you may hold. Um, and so you literally just see people pass out. I literally caught a dude, like we were leaving our tech school. Um, I was in the air traffic control tech tech school at, uh, Keesler air force base in Biloxi, Mississippi. And it was like the first day that we got out of bootcamp and, uh, you know, you're so like just disoriented in these situations. And it's the very first day I walked out of our dorms. We line up in, uh, in our, you know, whatever elements and, uh, I'm at the very front with a guy. Um, and the ended up being the cool dude, but on the very, very first day of tech school, uh, this guy starts marching. And, uh, as he's marching, I literally see, he starts to March like sideways, like kind of like starts to sway side to side and like a zigzag position. And all of a sudden this dude's probably like six foot four, two hundred and forty five pounds. And this man just like, just. Just seizes up. His body just stops and he just starts to fall and they actually caught him and like fell to the ground with them. Luckily, uh, so he didn't hit his head because I was the, uh, the guy next to him. Um, so we were the two tallest in the flight, but, uh, but luckily he, you know, they tried to say it was like dehydration or something, but literally you just laughed being from getting all of these, you know, different jabs from all these different things. Um, so it doesn't surprise me that there's a thousand percent increase, especially when it's something like this, you know, specific type, which isn't actually like any of those other ones that we've gotten in the past. So anyways, side note, the military health system began administrating, administering the spike protein MRMA to military service members on December 14th, 2020, since then the military has administered more than 6.4 million doses, fully inoculating 90.1% of active duty service members with the two dose protocol. Uh, Pretty crazy. Now this goes on to ask, now this is not a, this is a little bit of a bias article. So, you know, take this with a grain of salt and read about it on your own. Um, but this goes on to say that, uh, what role does the shot have on the number of unexpected and undetermined deaths? Why is Fort Bragg less safe than it was before the mask testing and vaccine mandates? The army is failing to keep soldiers combat ready. And this is evidenced by the military, his own medical surveillance system, defense medical epidemiology database is used to detect surges of injury and illnesses in the military to make sure that all of the individuals are combat ready. The D med and the armed forces, health surveillance branches, web based tool to remotely query de identified active component personnel and medical event data contained within the defense medical surveillance system. Wow. That was a mouthful in January, 2022 attorneys. Thomas runs and Leah. Retrieved the demat data from the military whistleblowers, Dr. Samuel single off Peter Chambers and Theresa Long. Um, the data was provided to Senator Ron Johnson at a historic round table meeting with doctors and lawyers. According to the data, the five-year average for medical issues in the military was 1.7 million coats. After the jab protocol was mandated on the military, the number of medical issues spike to 20, my reading that right. Wow, 22 million, 22 million from 1.7 million, which is a 1000% increase over 1000% increase. Many of the issues are directly related to these jobs, including Bell's palsy, mire, myocardial infraction, pulmonary embolisms, and neurological disorders. One of the military doctors testified it is my professional opinion that the major increases in incidences of the above discussed instances of miscarriages cancers and disease were due to these. Wow. That's terrifying, right? That you can go into a position and you're already, so, uh, you're already so vulnerable. Like when you go to bootcamp, when you go to tech school, like the whole point of going to bootcamp is so they can literally like diminish your personality to a point where they can mold you to be a soldier, right? So you're already so vulnerable. You're already, you know, have all of these, uh, people of authority who are running on a bus, screaming at you is second. You get into bootcamp and you know, you're really in this vulnerable position. And so the fact that they're now mandating that you get an experimental medication or spear mental drug within the first few days that you're there leading to a 1000% increase for young, healthy individuals in medical instances, such as Bell's palsy, myocardial infraction, and pulmonary embolisms, which is terrifying. That's terrifying. Right? That's crazy. And we're not even seeing long-term data yet. Right. That thousand percent is literally just the last two years has nothing to do with long-term effects of this has nothing to do with long-term cancers or, you know, any of the long-term effects that we're going to see on this. So it's going to be interesting to follow the data. I am not going to give my, you know, I'll go off of this article. I'll let you guys form your own opinion, but it's definitely weird that there's a thousand percent increase here. That's pretty crazy. And, uh, obviously we hope that all of our soldiers are okay and that these medical events tend to go away. But I think it's a overall, you know, when, when th there's, um, there was also a certain percentage. I, I discussed this in one of my last podcasts where there was, I forget the number, but it was like an overall, uh, 80% increase in unexplained deaths for people from the age of 18 to like 38 or something. I forget what the exact statistics were, but it was just overall increases in death by like 80% over the last several years. Um, so truly, truly terrifying. Um, I hope that, uh, this kind of, you know, ceases, um, moving forward, but anyways, all right, so the next thing we're going to walk through is the Russia and Ukraine war updates. Now, again, how I'm going to do this is I'm going to read verbatim the most recent speeches by both Vladimir Putin and Zelenskyi. Now we've had some recent conversations from our white house and our white house press secretary discussing the food shortages. And so I did want to note that the main, one of the most recent, one of the most interesting conversations by Vladimir Putin most recently was the conversation that he had surrounding food shortages. But what we're going to go over before we go over, that is just some general war updates. All right. So significant updates in the Russia Ukraine war. So the most recent one is that over 1000 Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered in miracle reportedly transferred to Russia for investigation. Then second one was that intra noble radiation detectors around nuclear power plants are back online for the first time since the invasion. Second, the third one is that Russian forces are moving some from, and I'm gonna butcher these names of these cities. I promise you Russian forces moving from Zappa Zia area to Carson area to support defense positions threatened by Ukrainian attacks. Next one is about Donbass. So you creating a defenses holding in Despite Russian attacks from three different directions. That's coming from a UK intelligence officer. And it goes on to say that Russian forces renew their offensive north east of Beck mute to allow them to reinforce operations in sever on Don ask and listen, chants area, Russian troops are continuing their efforts to advance insolvency risk and Islam area from Lehman. I hope you don't listen to this podcast for my pronunciation of Russian cities, because I sure I disappointed you there, but you get the point. Those are the most recent major, uh, changes in the actual front of the war. Um, now it goes on to say that Ukrainian president Zelensky claims that Russia is losing an average of 300 troops aid. To Ukrainian soldiers, Russia disputes, these claims, but does not disclose a figure in response Russia's foreign ministry claims that Ukraine is losing a significant number and is constantly having to replace units. They estimate losses could be averaging 300 to 400 a day. This number is disputed by Ukrainian president Selenski and he says that Ukraine is averaging 100 per day. So they're both, they're both saying that each other is full of shit yet. Neither of them wants to give an actual figure. Although, I guess the Lensky has said that it was about 100, whereas Russia estimated it was 300 to 400 soldiers. Uh, so, um, according to those claims, you know, do with that information, what you will, uh, but that's the most recent, quick updates on the actual front of Ukraine. Now, the next thing that we're going to discuss here is Putin's speech on food shore. All right now, I think this one's interesting because he actually talks about a lot of the politics around the world. He brings up the global order. Um, he brings up a lot of interesting points. So now what we're going to do is we're going to talk about Putin speech on the food shortages. All right. So, um, this was a back and forth conversation, uh, with somebody who I don't know who they are, but his name is Pawel, uh, is a Rubin. And he says to Vladimir Putin, he says, Mr. President, we have just followed your meeting with the head of singalong, who is also the current leader of the African union. He expressed an actually in the past week, many countries have expressed concern, not so much about the food crisis, but they are afraid of large scale famine because world food prices are climbing. And so our oil and gas prices, these issues are interrelated. Naturally the west blames Russia for this too. What is the real situation at this point? How is it developing and what do you think will happen in the food and energy markets? Okay. What a great question. I think that was phrased very well. And let them report and begins to respond now. Um, the way that vitamin uprooting responds is he says, yes, indeed. We are seeing attempts to place the responsibility on Russia for developments in the global food market and the growing problems there. I must say that this is another attempt to pin the blame on somebody else, but why first the situation with the global global food market did not become worse yesterday, or even with the launch of Russia's special military operation in Donbass, in Ukraine, the situation took a downturn in February, 2020 during the efforts to counter the Corona virus pandemic. When the global economy was down in, had to be revived the financial and economic authorities in the United States of all things found nothing better than to allocate large amounts of money to support the population and certain businesses and economic sectors. We generally did almost the same thing, but I assure you that we are. We were much more accurate and the results are obvious. We did this selectively and got the desired results without affecting macro economic indicators, including excessive inflation growth. The situation was quite different in the United States. The money supply in the United States grew by 5.9 trillion in less than two years from February, 2020 to the end of 2021 unprecedented productivity of the money printing machines, the total cash supply grew by 38.5% 38.6. I'm sorry. Apparently the U S financial authorities believed the dollar was a global currency and it would spread as usual as it did in previous years would dissolve in the global economy and the United States would not even feel it, but that did not happen. Not this time. Vladimir Putin said, as a matter of fact, decent. And there are such people in the United States, the secretary of the treasury recently said they had made a mistake. So it was a mistake made by the U S financial and economic authorities. It had nothing to do with Russia's actions in Ukraine. It is totally unrelated. Vladimir Putin says, and that was the first step and a big one towards the current unfavorable food market situation. Because in the first place, food prices immediately went up. They grew, this is the first reason he says. The second reason was European countries, shortsighted policies, and above all the European commission's policy. In regard to energy, we see what is going on there. Personally, I, as in Vladimir Putin, believe that many political players in the United States and Europe have been taking advantage of people's natural concerns about the climate climate change. And they began to promote this green agenda, including the energy. So now he's pointing to the way that our government and political system is politicizing, you know, global warming or whatever they call it now. Okay. And all seems fine, except for the unqualified and groundless recommendations about what needs to be done in the energy sector. The capabilities of alternative types of energy are overestimated solar wind, any other types and hydrogen power. Those are good prospects for the future probably, but today they cannot be produced in the required amount with their required quality and at acceptable prices. And at the same time, Vladimir Putin says they began to be little, the importance of conventional types of energy, including and above all hydrocarbons. What was the result of this? He says banks stopped issuing loans because they were under pressure insurance companies stopped insuring. Local authorities stopped allocating plots of land for expanding production in reduced the construction of special transports, including pipelines. All this led to a shortage of investment in the world, energy sector and price hikes. As a result, the wind was not as strong as expected during the past year winter dragged on and prices instantly sword. On top of all of that, the Europeans did not listen to our pres persistent requests to preserve long-term contracts for the delivery of natural gas to European countries. They started to wind them down. Many are still valid. Now we have a couple paragraphs last on this portion. Many are still valid, but they started winding them down. This had a negative effect on the European energy market. The prices went up. Russia has absolutely nothing to do with this. Now it's interesting how, you know, thought out this conversation has been, you know, what he's pointed to so far was the shutting down of pipe. The printing of 38.6% of our overall currency, as well as the, uh, downturn of, uh, contracts sent out and loans being sent to energy companies, um, all causing this rise in global prices and food shortages. Now it says that, but as soon as gas prices started going up, fertilizer prices followed suit because gas is used to produce some of these fertilizers. Everything is interconnected. As soon as fertilizers prices started growing many businesses, including those in European countries became unprofitable and started shutting down altogether. Putin said the amount of fertilizer in the world market took a dive and prices soared dramatically, much of the surprise, much to the surprise of many European politicians. However, we warned them about this, and this is not linked to Russia's military operations in Don Boston. This has nothing to do with it. But when we launched our operation, our so-called European and American partners started taking steps that aggravated the situation in both the food and fertilizer production markets, by the way, Russia accounts for 25% of the fertilizer market, as for Patash fertilizers. Now this is a translation from somewhere. Um, so there's probably a little bit of funky little verbiage here when it comes to Patosh fertilizers, Russia, and Belarus account for 45% of the world markets. This is a tremendous amount. The crop yield depends on the quantity of fertilizers put into the soil. As soon as it became clear that our fertilizers would not be in the world market prices instantly stored on both fertilizers and food products, because there are no fertilizers. It is impossible Purdue to produce the required amount of agricultural products. One thing leads to another and Russia has nothing to do with it. Our partners made a host of mistakes themselves. And now they're looking for someone to blame. Of course, Russia is the most suitable candidate in this respect. Okay. So that is Vladimir Putin's, uh, opinion as to why we are potentially running into food shortages. Why our gas prices are soaring, um, to the point where, uh, you know, everybody's starting and only fans, you know, and showing themselves, you know, I'm going to start and only fans and literally just go to the gas pump and just, you know, metaphorically get fucked there. Maybe people will fund my, uh, gas adventures that way. If I started only fans where you literally just go to the gas station and show yourself at the gas pump, it probably suits the platform. Um, anyways, so I thought that was interesting. It went pretty in depth there around the macro economics as to why. He believes we're having an energy crisis, why he believes gas prices are soaring, um, at least on this side of the world and why these potential famine conversations are coming up. Okay. Um, now we pointed to a lot of things there, right? The fertilizer market is an interesting one. It's not one that, you know, I've heard anybody discuss surrounding this, um, the energy crisis regarding, um, you know, uh, the way that he explained it about wind solar and all of the other ways that we're looking to kind of expand on these, you know, the electric market for electric vehicles. Yeah. That's all fine. But even if we, you know, literally everybody got an electric vehicle. Where where's that power coming from? Where's the electricity coming from? Because what I saw was there was a, I believe it was a Senator was getting questions surrounding, uh, where, you know, she was like boasting about how a certain percentage or somebody, you know, like basically started with electric vehicles and what, after being questioned, they found that the only way that they're able to actually supply enough energy for the electricity for these vehicles was through coal, like natural gas, like what it's just trading. One thing for the other, only that what's actually happening here is our politicians have gotten so balls deep invested into these energy companies and into the, you know, the battery companies who are over mining in Afghanistan and all of these other lithium rich places. They've they're so balls deep in investing into these companies that they need this to work. They have so much millions of doubt. Pelosi probably has, you know, uh, Epstein island under some of these lithium companies and needs to make her money. Right. It needs to get her, her, uh, her profits out of it. So what they're doing is they're trying to pass as many policies they're trying to, you know, in my opinion, there's, uh, an inflation of prices for gas. It could potentially even be, uh, um, intentional at this point because they have so much money invested in these electric vehicle card markets working that now they want to force your hands, right. They even talked about, uh, giving twice a $25,000 subsidy or tax write-off or something to people to purchase an electric vehicle. I think that was in one of the legislative, um, something that they were one of the bills that they were trying to pass. It was like sneakers. Position on page 36,074 or something, um, where they were going to give subsidies to people to pay for an electric vehicle. Now, when they do that, right, they pull out of, um, you know, they pull out of Afghanistan suddenly, very intentionally. They pull out of Afghanistan, one of the most lithium rich countries in the world only to have immediately the Taliban doing a deal with China for the lithium deposits. Hm. Oh. And also all of our politicians are in some way, shape or form or another invested into electric vehicles working out and your gas vehicle going away. I don't know who am I I'm sure. None of this is interconnected. All right. So the next thing, and the next topic that we're going to discuss here is a Vladimir Putin. So this is an article from. I believe it's a Newsweek New York post. All right. The New York post says Vladimir Putin has cancer and likely survived in assassination attempt. And that is from a U S intelligence analyst. It goes on to say that the us intelligence community believes that Russian president Vladimir Putin's health is suffering and that he is being treated for cancer. The assessment attributed to Newsweek was attributed to high ranking officials at three separate intelligence agencies and comes months after speculation that the Russian strongman is suffering from terminal ailments. Hootin is definitely sick and official from the office of the director of national intelligence, told the outlet while noting whether he's going to die soon is mere speculation. Two other officials, one from the defense intelligence agency and one retired air force officer also claimed to have access to a comprehensive Intel or intelligence assessment of Putin's. And said the outlook for the Russian leader is bleak. According to the report. Now, one thing that a few people have noted, I think I even heard Joe Rogan talk about it was that, um, recently you've seen the pictures of Vladimir Putin and his face looks like almost inflated, like, um, like he has some type of anemia, um, or like, uh, right in the EMEA. No, that's not the word. Is that the word? Anemia? I don't know. Water. I think it's anemia. Let's look it up. Am I wrong? Hm it's like a, when water starts to like, um, anemia is defined as a low number of red blood cells, I was completely wrong. What does it, when your body's holding water? What's the word? Tell me anybody. Anybody? No. All right. Well, water retention, 40 types. Uh, we're not gonna find it move in on. All right. So he's holding. Right. Hypertension. That's wrong. Hypertension is high blood pressure. All right. Um, so Putin script is strong. Uh, the intelligence community also reports and believes that Putin is increasingly paranoid about his hold of power and that he may have survived in this fascination attempt in March. Putin's grip is strong, but no longer absolute said one in senior intelligence officer. He says the jockeying inside the Kremlin has never been more intense during his rule. Everyone's sensing that the end is near the officials also warns that Putin as Putin has become increasingly isolated access to credible intelligence has also become more difficult to obtain one source of our best intelligence, which is contact with outsiders largely dried up as a result of the Ukrainian war. The senior DIA official said noting that as Putin has fewer meetings with foreign leaders, there are fewer opportunities to learn about his. It goes on to say that we need to be mindful of the influence of wishful thinking. The retired air force leader said still, the sources said that following televised appearance in April, in which the Russian leader was seen awkwardly gripping a table while meeting with his defense minister, the intelligence community told the white house that Putin was ill and most likely dying. Well, those are two completely different things, you know, being ill and dying. I don't know, kind of separate rumors of Putin's immense demise have been reported since the early days of his invasion of Ukraine in early April, Russia, investigative journalism outlet. The project reported that Putin was quite ill and had been receiving regular visits from a noted Russian oncologist. The other account was followed by multiple reports, some from telegram channels, supposedly aligned with Kremlin dissidents that the ex KGB man was due to undergo various surgeries or was looking for a potential six. Regardless of Putin's health, the DIA official warned against underestimating. The Russian president. He's still very dangerous in chaos. Does lay ahead. If he does die, we need to focus on that and be ready. Interesting. Um, so apparently not only is he dodging cancer, but he's also dodging assassination attempts. I wish we got more information on either of those. Um, but I don't know. Um, I, I think that, you know, there's been a lot of talks about this. There's been a lot of people who believe that, uh, Vladimir Putin has been sick for a while. Now. There was actually a whole report that I saw that looked at all of his absences. So like all of the timeframes, um, that he had been, uh, basically out of the public eye for extended periods of time and the actual logs of who was coming and going from seeing him during the. And a lot of them noted that a Russian oncologist, um, so interesting. And it does even speak to the fact that what would happen if he did die, right. That would obviously cause a huge power vacuum. Um, and then would cause you know, uh, a big power struggle, especially during this time of war, that would, I don't know. I don't know. Um, so, and then another thing is the assassination attempt. I've heard some crazy wild stories about the fascination that times not only assassination in times on Vladimir Putin, but also. Uh, him assassinating other people. There was a report surrounding the fact that, um, if you were an official at the table of the negotiations on behalf of your president for Ukraine or Russia, you are actually just as likely to die as a soldier on the front lines, there was like three or four assassinations of officials who were at the table of negotiations, um, during, uh, underneath both Putin and Zelensky. Um, so that sounds terrifying. I don't want to be assassinated. It sounds like there's been several attempts on him. And, uh, he also, uh, potentially has cancer. Um, you know, maybe he's gotten better, maybe that oncologist helped and maybe he's no longer dealing with it. But what I do know is if you go back and look at some of the pictures of him from before and now you see that water retention, um, on his face, which happens when you start to take, uh, some of those medications for that water retention. Um, so anyways, moving on now, what we're going to read now is going to be, uh, actually Zelenskyi his speech on the war, and then we're going to discuss Putin's speech on the war. Okay. Now, uh, Zelensky speech is kind of hype. He starts it with like a big, like, you know, Ukrainians. This was on June 8th. So roughly five days ago, this is what's the lens he said regarding the war. He said, Ukrainian. All of our defenders exactly 10 years ago, this day marked the start of Euro 2012, the European football championships, which brought together all Ukrainians and poles, Ukrainians, and the vast majority of Europeans, the opening ceremony was in Warsaw. The final ceremony was in our Capitol in Kiev. The matches were hosted in different cities of our two countries and in particular, in Donetsk and the Donbass area only 10 years have passed. And it seems that that was another world just today. The occupiers announced the absolutely crazy news that they were preparing to unite some football clubs from all occupied territories into one pseudo championship from  curse, Melo, Paul Crimea, and even part of Georgia. It's just a mockery of the occupiers over people who remember everything. Well, 10 years ago, our dynamic was a strong, proud and developed city in the rush. Came, uh, and then Russia came, brought ideas of just, uh, of just such an attic inadequate level. And now it is a ghost town that has lost most people, thousands of lives and absolutely all prospects, only the return of Ukraine, which will definitely happen. Only our flag in only Ukrainian law will mean a normal life for these territories, for these cities. Again, the life that was there, peaceful, safe, and open to the world. And of course, new matches of world-class teams at the Donbass arena. Now he must have been like speaking at an actual event or something at some, you know, a soccer arena. Um, I am grateful to president of Poland, a friend of the Ukrainians for the fact that he has now started a special trip to European countries to support the European project. Of our country, this June, we are going to get a decision on the candidacy. Now he's speaking on of them joining the European union, which would eventually lead to potential ties, um, for the UN, which is the whole reason that Putin said that he started this war in the first place, was that he did not want Ukraine to become a part of the UN. Now, if you crane becomes a part of the UN, then what happens? Well, then there's a treaty. And I would assume that we would have other countries go into war on Ukraine's behalf based on that treaty. So that's what he's speaking to right now. It says president of Slovakia, Zuzanna Kapito VA was to go with Andrea, such a joint initiative of the two leaders was planned, a positive cotinine or COVID-19 test hindered it while these are the conditions of our life. Now I spoke today as the German chancellor of. About the decision in favor of Ukraine or the candidacy as well, which in fact will be a decision in favor of Europe. We talked about defense support and about food security guaranteeing, which is really a global interest already because no one can be interested except the Russian state in the global food crisis. I addressed today, the participants of the investment contract or conference organized to discuss the economic prospects of our state representatives of the world's largest funds were among the participants. Although the event was not public, it was still very important and powerful. I invited them to invest in Ukraine, invest, invest with, you know, large weaponry tanks, uh, you know, fighter jets. It is very important for me that that was me speaking, not Zelenskyi. Um, it is very important for me to see such an audience. And these, I emphasize again, are representative of the most influential part of American. Believes that these sanctions against Russia should be strengthened. Therefore it would be right for politicians to hear this position leading business and the majority of American and European societies, that there is still not enough pressure on the Ukrainian Federation to end this war. According to the results of this day, the a hundred and fifth day of the full-scale war, um, sever on dynastic remains the epicenter of the confrontation than dumbass. We defend our positions, inflict, inflict, significant losses on the enemy. This is a very fierce battle, very difficult, probably one of the most difficult throughout the war. I am grateful to everyone who defends this direction. In many ways, the fate of our Donbass is being decided there. I also designed decrees on awarding our heroes 285 combatants were awarded state awards in 68 of them. Post humorously, eternal memory to all who gave their lives for. Eternal glory to our heroes who defend the state glory to Ukraine. I can't imagine being in like a fist fight at a bar and, and while I'm getting like punched in the face, uh, you know, looking to the big guy in the corner and like being like, Hey, Hey, you know, maybe a, I don't know, focus on what's going on there instead of, you know, calling on us to put in financial sanctions and even more interesting was a speech that, uh, as Olenski gave during the, uh, during the world economic forum, uh, it was about two and a half weeks ago. So a little bit before this speech. Um, but he was basically making a cry out to the world economic forum and all these global leaders to basically get in on the fight saying it's a global issue that they're new view. Think that they're going to stop it, Ukraine, you're wrong. And if it's me, you know, potentially you're next and you know, um, this whole deal. I dunno. So we'll move on. The next thing that we'll discuss is Putin speech on the war, and it will be interesting to see kind of the differences in approaches now, um, where Putin was speaking was that a national event, like a parade kind of like our Memorial day, where it was surrounding the soldiers who had lost their lives and more. And I believe this was in like some huge stadium. Um, and so, uh, you'll hear some of his conversations surrounding that this was a little bit earlier, but this is the most recent conversation from Putin that I can find was on May 9th, 2022. And I've looked through every transcript of every conversation that he has available over the last month and a half. So this is the most written recent conversation that he had was during this like Memorial day type ceremony on May 9th, he mentions NATO. He mentions the United States. He mentions, uh, You mentioned the United States several times. Um, he mentioned how they're, you know, boasting and claiming their own exceptionalism and how, uh, basically how the west seems to want to cancel their old traditional values and cultures. Um, so we'll talk about that right now. So he says on May 9th, 2022, Putin goes on to say, we take pride in the unconquered, courageous generations of the victors. We are proud of being their successors and it is our duty to preserve the memory of those who defeated Nazi-ism and entrusted us being vigilant and doing everything to thwart the horror of another global war. Now side note, that is an interesting thing that Putin has talked about this entire time is the comparison between Germany during world war II and the Nazi-ism and knots defying. Um, the, you know, Donbass region and specifically the Azov regime. Now you can go online right now. If you're listening to this, your ass has an internet connection and you can Google or don't Google go to brave browser and use search dot brave, um, and look up the Azov battalion, the Azov regime, and you can see pictures upon pictures upon pictures of them flaunting a Nazi flag, flaunting a Nazi flag. Okay. Now this is the same people that Facebook decided to change their policies against about several months ago, two to three months ago, Facebook originally did not allow positive speech did not allow support of the Razov regime because they're Nazis in some way. Okay. At least they support Nazi principles and have Nazi symbolism all over them and their flags. So Facebook did not allow support of the Azov regime. Two to three months ago. They changed their policies quietly in the dead of the night to allow support for the Azov regime, allow support for a literal Nazi party. Okay. So this is a verifiable claim from Putin saying, and making these comparisons to the Nazi Germany of world war two, when there is the Azov regime, touting Nazi flags all over, all over, you can find those pictures. Okay. So just wanted to throw that out there. He's not just frivolously, throwing out claims of their Nazis, you know, like, uh, Antifa likes to do about everybody that they disagree with. There's legitimate. And Ukraine. Okay. So just one of the point that out, it's not just, usually they're not throwing things out there. There's legitimate claims here. Okay. So he goes on to say, therefore, despite all controversies in international relations, Russia has always advocated the establishment of an equal and indivisible security system, which is critically needed for the entire international community. Last December, we proposed signing a treaty on the security guarantees. Russia urged the west to hold an honest dialogue and search for meaningful and compromising solutions and to take account of each other's interests. All in vain, NATO countries did not want to heat to us, which means they had totally different plans. And we saw it. Putin went on to say another punitive operation. Then Don Boston invasion of our historic lands, including Crimea was openly in the. Okay. Now I'll repeat that. He says that he, another punitive operation in Don boss in invasion of our historic land, speaking of the former Soviet union, the former Soviet union Don boss, and that portion of Ukraine was a part of the Soviet union prior. Okay. So another punitive operation than Dom Boston invasion of our historic lands, including Crimea was openly in the making Kiev declared that it could attain nuclear weapons. The NATO block launched an active military buildup on the territories adjacent to us. Thus an absolutely unacceptable threat to us was steadily being created right on our borders. Putin said there was every indication that they clash with neo-Nazis in band rights, backed by the United States and their minions was unavoidable. That's a big claim. United States backed neo-Nazis, which is literally what it is. If the United States is sending weapons and sending money, like, you know, the $66 billion that we've sent to Ukraine. So far $66 billion, which as I talked about before, would equal a hundred and, or I'm sorry, of the equal $640,000 almost to each one of the 106,000 elementary schools to help a security measures. Just to give you the idea of what 66 billion actually looks like. Okay. That's what we've been sending to these organizations to Ukraine, right? Just a blank check. Let me repeat. We saw the military infrastructure Houdin goes on to say being built up hundreds of foreign advisers, starting work in regular supplies of cutting edge weaponry being delivered from NATO. The threat grew every day, Russia locked, Russia launched a preemptive strike at the aggression. It was a forest timely and the only correct decision, a decision by a sovereign strong and independent country, the United States began claiming their exceptionalism, particularly after the collapse of the Soviet union, thus denigrating, not just the entire world, but also their satellites who have to pretend not to see anything into obediently, put up with it. But we are a different country. Russia has a different character. We will never give up our love for our motherland. Putin says our faith and traditional values. Our ancestors come customs and respect for all people in. Meanwhile, the west seems to be set to cancel these millennia old values, such moral degradation, underlies the cynical falsifications of world war II history, escalating Russia, phobia, praising traders, mocking their victims memories and crossing out the courage of those who won the victory through suffering. We are aware that us veterans who wanted to come to the parade in Moscow were actually forbidden to do so, but I want them to know we are proud of your deeds and your contribution to our common victory. Speaking about world war II, we honor all soldiers of the allied armies, the Americans, the English, the French resistance fighters, brave soldiers and partisans in China. All of those who defeated Nazi-ism and military prism. There, you have it. There is Selenski speech. There is Putin speech, both the most recent conversations surrounding the war. Now they're both painting very, very different pictures, right? If we try and like break this down to a very simplistic approach of why each one is saying, you know why this happened is right now, if you go back to the very, very first podcast I did about this, when this all broke out, I read Hootens original speech. And in his original speech, he mentioned the United States 11 times without mentioning Ukraine a single time, which again, and then following it with the fact that Russia is a, one of the biggest nuclear powers in the world and is unafraid of using it. Okay. Mentioned the United States 11 times. Okay. If that doesn't concern you, you're not paying close enough. Right. Especially with the escalating conversations around Taiwan, which escalated even more today and that, you know, what I'll even touch on that because I think that's interesting and notable to have a conversations around. Well, first I do think it's interesting. I do think that there's a reason to kind of just super simplistically highlight why. Okay. Russia is saying that you, crane was building up its infrastructure backed by the United States and by NATO and the UN to eventually invade. Right. At least that's what it sounded like. Okay. So he believes that they were putting, now people have compared it to this. Imagine if Mexico did they deal with China and allowed China to put rockets and nuclear missiles and all of this military infrastructure right along the borders of Mexico and right on the borders of Canada. Okay. That starts to look a little. Right. Would we allow? That is another question. Okay. So he was saying that they were starting to build up these, uh, this infrastructure for potential war against Russia. Russia goes on to say that if they be car became a part of the UN, then they would be a potential immediate threat to Russia, which is why they decided to go in preemptively. Okay. Now Ukraine is saying that they're just completely innocent, that they have nothing to do with this and that for some reason, big mean Putin decided to just jump into their land and start, you know, killing their soldiers. So who's right. I'm not going to say time will tell history will tell generally written by the person who wins the wars. Okay. But what I do know is that things are escalating fast, right? I was also kind of weird to me that there's really not much conversations around. What is actually going on in the day-to-day right. If you don't follow any specific channels to follow the war, you're really not seeing it much. At least I'm not at least not what we were at the very beginning of this, right? When the big like mass, uh, you know, um, exit this of, uh, profile pictures from liberal Facebook profiles went, went from I'm, you know, vaccinated to a Ukraine flag. Um, you know, so around that same, same time, uh, all this information started to come out about why the war was happening about what was going on there and all these, you know, all this, uh, huge, crazy propaganda from the ghost of Kiev to the Ukrainian father, crying into his daughter's arms, which we found out was all fake. Uh, but we haven't seen much, right. At least I haven't, I don't know. I follow some channels on this and that's kind of where I got some of his information. Um, but if you don't follow those same channels, I think you're really not getting it in the mainstream. Um, it's, it's pretty wild that something can just massively takeover the collective unconscious of all of the United States at a single time. And then just literally fizzle away the second that, uh, you know, a decently attractive couple gets into some type of, you know, legal battle on public television. And speaking of the January 6th, uh, meetings have been happening recently. And, uh, what ended up happening there that was interesting is that Nancy Pelosi hired a former, uh, director or executive of some, like, I think it was like ABC or somebody news, um, to try and make their January six committee situation like this big production, like thinking it was going to catch on like the Amber heard situation. I haven't heard that anything from it. Uh, one thing I did hear was attorney general, William Barr speaking a little bit about 2000 mules where he kind of diminished it, uh, from a certain perspective, um, saying that, you know, you could have gotten the cell phone data from anywhere, which I think is interesting, something for you to look into. Uh, but the last topic that we'll discuss here today is going to be the escalating tensions with China and the U S today. So it says that the U S secretary of defense in Chinese defense minister issued dueling statements after holding their first face-to-face meeting. This comes after China's defense minister told us secretary of defense Lloyd Austin, that China would go to war over Taiwan. If independence is declared in the rare press conference defense minister said we will re resolutely crush any attempt to pursue Taiwan independence. Let me make this clear. If anybody dares to secede Taiwan from China, we will not hesitate. We will fight at all costs. And we will fight to the very end. I want to make clear to those seeking Taiwan, independence and those behind them. The pursuit of Taiwan independence is a dead end. Secretary secretary Lloyd Austin spoke to the press shortly after defense minister Fang Vangee and said maintaining peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. Isn't just a us interest. It's a matter of international, secure or international concern. Let me be clear. We do not see confrontation or conflict, and we do not seek a new cold war. We will defend our interests without flinching. And then there's this video that you can actually watch of him, like going on. Um, I don't know if we can hear it here, but, um, the, the top, uh, comment on here says, well, one of the top common says, ah, somebody get the Chinese defense minister, a joint man needs to chill out. The next one says all over the world, we are seeing echoes of the 1930s history. Doesn't repeat, but it diff definitely rhymes. Quite interesting. Right? That is a, that is a really powerful statement. Uh, you know, immediately following, you know, saying that anybody who's addressing their independence or their secession from China. I dunno if you go back and look at any of the history books that we have from the time I was in school, Taiwan's always been a separate country, as far as I'm concerned, as far as I can remember, they've been a country. It's not like they're seceding from China. Taiwan has literally never been a part of. In our history. Okay. Now they're trying to take this approaching Gaslight. There are people just the same way that, you know, some people are saying that Putin is doing that about Ukraine. Oh, well this is ours. It's always been ours. And they're just trying to act like they're somebody else's. Um, and if you fuck with us, we're going to go to war with you. I don't know. But I do think that it's quite concerning seeing all of these tensions, escalating, we've never seen a hot war in my lifetime. That's the scale of this, at least not openly. Right. It's you know, we've seen many, many bombs dropped by the United States specifically over the last several decades. Um, but nothing that was an actual declaration of war against a sovereign nation. Um, so it's. I'll keep saying that it's concerning, you know, because all of a sudden China gets involved and goes after Taiwan. Then the United States steps in then Europe, Russia steps in, and then it's just this domino effect of large scale war that has the potential to break out very quickly, very quickly. And now we see our secretary of defense and the defense minister of China, uh, battling back and forth with their words surrounding war. So to me, it's concerning. Um, I, I, you know, w as far as the Taiwan and China situation, it's very clear cut. It's very clear cut. What's happening here. And then the situation of Putin and Ukraine, it's very clear. Cut there. Ukraine was its own country, right? I'm not taking sides on any of this. Ukraine was a stone country. Maybe don't invade people if you're using. Maybe don't, you know, have allied treaties with countries who are going to piss off one of the greatest superpowers immediately next door to you and potentially risk getting into a war. Oh. And maybe don't be a Nazi. Maybe that's a good starting point. Don't be a Nazi. So that's what I have for you guys. I hope you enjoyed it. Uh, thank you so much for listening. Um, if you have any other, uh, things you want to discuss, go ahead and leave a comment. You can find me on Tik TOK. You can find me on Instagram, truth, social, wherever the hell you're at at red pill revolt is where you can find me. Um, thank you so much for listening. I hope you took something out of this conversation. I know we have not been hearing a lot about this lately. Um, so I just wanted to do a quick update. We will jump into more topics. We'll expand here. Um, I think the next few topics we'll have, I have written out are pretty awesome. So make sure you stay tuned, make sure you hit that subscribe button. Uh, again, head over to red pill, revolution.com. If you didn't hear me already. Is for losers, red pill, revolution dot C O go ahead and get yourself some life insurance because you're going to die. And you don't want your family to hate you. Um, go ahead and support the podcast by becoming a monthly subscriber. Uh, this is something I spend a lot, a lot of my time on, I have a full-time job. Um, I have a business. I have, uh, children, I have a family, I have a life outside of this, but I still find the time at 10 o'clock at night five in the morning, one in the morning to get this stuff done for you. And it would mean the world to me. The best thing you can do is head over to red pill, revolution.com, click on the link, get yourself some life insurance. Like I said, I got a $2 million policy for $60 a month. Right now, if I die, I think my wife will be. But I think she'll be a little less sad if she has $2 million in the bank. So maybe you might want to think about that red pill revolution, that CEO, click the link, get yourself some life insurance. It takes it's super fast, 95% approval ratings. Um, you don't have to speak to anybody. Right? I come from an insurance background like yours, different life of mine. I was, I owned an insurance agency. And, um, when you usually go get life insurance, it's like the shittiest thing in the world. You put your information in online. You, you know, you get like 30 calls from a bunch of people trying to lie to you and sell you shit. This doesn't do any of that. My recommendation, if you don't know anything about insurance, get a, um, get a 15 year term life policy. Don't do any of that whole life bullshit. They're just trying to take your money 15 year term life policy at 15 times. Um, your income okay. Per year. All right. That should be enough. All right. Thank you guys so much. Thank you for listening and welcome to the revolution. Have a great day. ----more----

When founders start companies, they're often asked, what was the "Aha" moment? For Charlotte Keesler, it was more of a feeling and one that stumped her for several years. After graduating from Washington and Lee University in 2015, like a number of her classmates [mostly male classmates, we should note], Charlotte set out on the illustrious path of finance and investment banking--you know, the one that coined the term 'Boys' Club.' And within a few years, she made the highly coveted jump to the world of venture capital. But with each job change and a cross-country move from New York to California, Charlotte kept coming back to the same few questions: Who can I trust for sage advice? When can I ask questions that are specifically geared toward women--do I have to wait until the quarterly company-wide affiliate network event? More and more, she had this feeling that nothing really spoke to her: she actually loved the work (long hours included), but it was as though she was slowly losing herself, and becoming increasingly isolated with every additional situation in which she was the 'other.' Cue Per the Work Edit: a company for the next generation of women in the workforce--solely focused on creating value for this female often labeled as 'other.' Charlotte says that woman is, in many ways, a past version of herself. Today, Per the Work Edit is all about content and connection, but it's truly just the beginning. The Per team believes that women in the workforce deserve a company on a mission to improve every part of a woman's work life - from adding tools to her toolkit, to better understanding workplace dynamics, down to providing guides for the top workwear styles. Work is a huge part of our lives, and according to Per, it's often not the “work” itself that needs improvement, but rather our relationship to work that needs to change. On March 8, 2021--International Women's Day--Charlotte officially launched Per's online community and let me tell you, FYX fam, y'all NEED to get in on this. Thanks to our friends at Geneva [the coolest new community app that Charlotte kindly introduced me to!], Per's online community, The Forum, is officially accessible to gals everywhere. The Forum is a place where women across firms and industries can interact with each other throughout the day: it facilitates the seamless exchange of information, enabling women to ask/answer questions, give/receive advice, share resources & learnings, build relationships, and have a sense of belonging - all with the goal of making work better. In this episode you'll learn: - Top tips for navigating a male-dominated office environment - How Per the Work Edit plans to support corporate companies in providing better resources female employees - Initials thoughts, feelings, and reactions from friends and family when you quit your job to build a brand from scratch - How a corporate job is in fact nothing like school--and ideas we have for better preparing females before they graduate We know you're already feeling the FOMO on The Forum, so hurry up and head over to www.pertheworkedit.com to join the group. A., Coffey, L. L., Morrison, J. H., Bliss-Moreau, E. Abstract: Zika virus (ZIKV) infection of pregnant women can cause major congenital neuronal abnormalities. In the present study, we evaluated neuropathological consequences of fetal ZIKV exposure in rhesus macaques, a highly translatable animal model for human neural development. Quantitative neuroanatomical analyses of the nearly full-term brains of fetuses infected with ZIKV at gestational days 50, 64, and 90, and three procedure-matched sham-inoculated controls were carried out. Whole tissue sections across a complete cerebral hemisphere were evaluated using immunohistochemical and neuroanatomical staining techniques to detect virus localization, identify affected cell types and evaluate gross neuroanatomical abnormalities. None of the subjects were microcephalic. Immunohistochemical staining revealed the presence of ZIKV in the frontal lobe, which contained activated microglia and showed increased apoptosis of immature neurons. ZIKV-infected animals exhibited macrostructural changes within the occipital lobe, including a reduction in gyrification as well as a higher proportion of white matter. Finally, the ZIKV-infected subjects had abnormalities throughout the visual pathway, including disorganization within the lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN) and primary visual cortex (V1). Regional differences tracked with the temporal patterns of the developing brain and likely reflect the neural progenitor cell tropism ZIKV exhibits, painting a picture of inflammatory processes related to viral infiltration sweeping through the cortex, followed by a wave of cell death resulting in morphological changes. These findings may help explain why some infants born with normal sized heads during the ZIKV epidemic manifest developmental challenges as they age, and ultimately may contribute to developing effective treatments and interventions. In episode 2 of season 2 of Podcaster Stories, I sit down with Jody Hanks and Chris Rash of The Digression Podcast. The Digression Podcast was born out of just about every conversation Chris and Jody ever had. What would ordinarily be a five-minute conversation easily becomes an hour and a half of asides, anecdotes, detours, transitions, tangents, war stories, wanderings, and ramblings. Topics up for discussion this week include: how their 20+ year career in the US Air Force built their close friendship, and resulted in the podcast how Chris "maintained people" and how that shaped his later life how their show had been prepping itself for 10 years offline before becoming the podcast it is today how afternoon scotch and sake drove their creative juices why tech was their biggest challenge when it came to starting the show how the show grew from a once-a-month experiment to today's free-flowing version  why engagement from their audience, and the feedback they get, is one of the best parts of doing the show why their goal is to entertain, but to also discuss deeper topics on the show, like the military deaths at Fort Hood as well as sexual assault in the armed forces how their own personal experiences offer insights into personal issues experienced in the military why the Apollo Moon Landing episode they did for the 50th anniversary remains a favourite how both Jody and Chris have a personal connection to these NASA missions why they don't let conspiracy theorists and flat earthers get to them how they got involved in rebuilding programs at Fort Keesler in Biloxi, Mississippi, after Hurricane Katrina   how conditions were like an overseas deployment when it came to the facilities and hospital at Keesler why it was key to rebuild the people and their morale first to start rebuilding the base how Chris, his wife, and their newborn had to live in a ramshackle RV immediately after the birth how they had to face two more hurricanes while they were rebuilding Keesler, and deal with the additional damage they brought how the way a young airman graduating from Airman Leadership School was treated highlighted the changes that needed to be made at the base why they had to change the lame squadron "cheer" into something more inspiring how much of a culture change they had to initiate at the top how they improved the fitness of those under their wing to be amongst the best on the base how Jody and Chris have heard from people since they retired on why the processes and personal touch they put in place is missed why the best way to go through life is to not take things too seriously their best piece of advice for new podcasters Settle back for an entertaining episode where two air force vets share their lessons on life, military service, building loyalty, and more. Lenoir 'Lee' Keesler is president and CEO of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, one of America's leading urban public library systems. Lee provides overall strategic vision, direction and leadership for the organization and oversight of enterprise administration and Library Foundation activities. He also serves as relationship manager for the Library-Mecklenburg County partnership. Prior to joining the Library, Lee served as president and CEO of the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte-Mecklenburg and primarily in wholesale banking leadership roles for First Union/Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank). He holds a BA in economics from Duke University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.  This episode is perfect for anyone interested in the future of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and in hearing about a life of community care and stewardship.  IN THIS EPISODE Lee describes this time in the library's history and how the library is transforming. He talks about what the community expects from the library and re-framing the library mission. He discusses what is a library, the many different services the library delivers, and the opportunities the library has in the years ahead.  He addresses concerns about the homeless and transient people who use the library and speaks to their patronage. Lees shares the vision and 'top of the house' theme for a new main library, the three defining elements that make up that vision, what the main library will 'major' and 'minor' in, and what Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs has to do with it. He identifies the architects who that will design the new main library, what they are being charged to create, and the contributions they are making. He answers how the project for the new main library will be funded, when the library will break ground, and when it will be completed. Lee shares the history of his family in the Carolinas. He describes how his brothers are different temperamentally and considers what his brothers would say about him. He reveals the sport he gravitated to as a young man and why he chose his career. He discusses the three chapters of his life that he charted, whether he thinks of himself as a banker, and what motivated him to seek different work. Lee shares why becoming president of the Arts & Science Council was a watershed moment in his life, what he learned about himself as a leader, his strengths as a CEO, and what he could do better. He describes the Lee Keesler we don't see. He explains what the Royal Dornoch Golf Club has to do with heaven. He talks about the books he likes to read and his interest in books about women by women narrated by women. Lee shares what is most important to him. After the conversation, host Mark Peres adds a personal word that begins this way, "I have been drawn to libraries my whole life, from reading books in cubbies in elementary schools to making a beeline to see the lions and the reading room in the New York Public Library..."
