Beverley is a full-time PhD researcher based within the School of English, at the University of Sheffield. She is doing a creative writing doctorate that delves into identity, particularly Black British, Caribbean, and African descendants. Krissy talks with us about how as a child she was able to go with her father to his school when he was a teacher and coach, then later as principal and superintendent. Krissy was inspired by her father's love for education, so she decided to follow in his footsteps.  She was able to bring her daughters along with her to work to keep the tradition alive. I admire Krissy and the heart that she has for her career and her students. She truly goes above and beyond to create a positive atmosphere for the teachers, students, and staff in her building.
