“It works out for other people, but not for me.” “There's too much standing in my way to even start.” “I've done everything, so why don't I feel amazing? “ “I should settle for this. It's supposed to make me happy.”If any of this sounds familiar, this episode is going to rock you out of your rut and into a new mindset. One of abundance, freedom, and peace. Today we are joined by Coach Keren who helps break down the manifestation struggles unique to high achievers.Keren Eldad is an author, speaker and executive coach to high performers including Olympic athletes, politicians, Hollywood stars, supermodels, Special Forces operatives and serial entrepreneurs, and today Keren shares her story of extreme perceived “success” in all facets of life: a dreamy house, an executive suite at a high-paying job, and a marriage that looked picture-perfect. And yet all of these shiny achievements were disconnected to her truth and authenticity, which ultimately led to her rock bottom. Together Coach Keren and Jessica unpack the hidden traps of perfectionism, control, and overwork that sabotage manifestations. She talks about learning how to deeply surrender, trust, and realign with her true soul desires. Whether you're feeling restless in your current reality or forcing outcomes that won't stick, this episode is your guide to breaking free from the gilded cage and stepping into true abundance. **Trigger warning: mention of suicidal ideation at 00:12:40 through 00:12:52 In This Episode We Talk About:The unique manifestation challenges for high achieversWhy overachievers struggle with control and force in manifestationCoach Keren's rock-bottom moment and the radical shifts she madeThe importance of recognizing when your manifestations feel misalignedBreaking the mindset of scarcity and fear in career and relationshipsHow over-identifying with success keeps you stuck in force modeUnderstanding the difference between force, flow, and surrenderWhy overworking actually slows down manifestationHow trauma and resistance block manifestationsIdentifying signs that your body is guiding you away from something misalignedThe moment Keren made a leap of faith—and how it led to unexpected successOvercoming perfectionism and analysis paralysis in manifestationReframing anger as a tool for expansion instead of resistanceHow to break free from cycles of control and step into true ease THEMES / TIME STAMPS:Keren shares her journey of “having it all” yet feeling completely unfulfilled (00:08:55)The critical differences between force vs flow, and how overachievers may be blocking their own manifestations (00:23:15)Channelling anger in a constructive way and the connection to surrender and peace (00:40:05) Resources: Join our FREE Live Call with Lacy & JessicaHow to Stay Magnetic in 2025Wednesday, Jan 29th, 11 am PSTReplay available if you can't attend The Authenticity Challenge is LIVE!!Manifest the life you *actually* want! He Sees You As Holy, Flawless, and RestoredColossians 1:21-22 “Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored."There was no way that I could read a verse like the one above and not share it with you. This is something I think God wants us all to know. We usually assume the opposite. We believe when God looks at us all He sees is our mistakes and our failures. We are sure that when He looks at us He finds us unworthy and not enough. How many times have we thought that? How often have we thought negatively about ourselves and assumed God felt the same way? We all do it. Yet this verse says something very different.I love the word choice in this verse. First, it says, “Even though you were once distant from him, living in the the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, He reconnected you back to himself.” I love this part because it emphasizes our role in our redemption. It doesn't say that if we do everything right and fix our relationship with the Lord, He will welcome us back. It says He reconnected you back to himself. God does the hard part. All we need to do is say yes and let Him in.We don't need to fix ourselves. This is where we go wrong a lot of the time. We want to do it all on our own. We want to fix ourselves up all nice and pretty before we come to the Lord, and what He is telling us is that He already sees us all fixed up and beautiful. The verse says, “He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence.” Due to original sin we were no longer allowed to dwell in the Lord's presence. Now, because of His sacrifice we are allowed to. His sacrifice made us worthy. Are we going to accept that worthiness, or are we going to continue to tell the Lord that His sacrifice wasn't enough to make us worthy? The last part of the verse says, “And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored.” This part blows my mind. I know the Lord loves me. I know He thinks I am special. I know this because I take the time to sit and talk with Him. You could know this too if you take the time to listen to all He wants to say to you. However, reading this verse in this translation hit me in a new way.God, the all-powerful, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, sees me as holy, flawless, and restored. Can you believe that? I imagine not. I imagine that is not what the enemy wants us to believe. He whispers lies in our ears all the time about how unworthy and not enough we are. He tells us God couldn't possibly love us or forgive us because what we did is too bad, it's too much. The devil is a liar. God sacrificed his only son for you! Jesus died on the cross for you! Are you telling me there is something you could have done that is too big for this sacrifice to cover? There is a song called Flawless by Mercy me and I think the lyrics really get across what the Lord is telling us today. Here are the lyrics: There's got to be moreThan going back and forthFrom doing right to doing wrongCause we were taught that's who we areCome on get in line right behind meYou along with everybodyThinking there's worth in what you do This is what we think. We think we need to be good enough to earn God's love, to earn his mercy and his forgiveness. We think we need to fix ourselves. We need to clean ourselves us and get all pretty before we come to the Lord. This is hard on our own and we do good for a bit and then we mess up again. As the song says, there has to be more than this back and forth. Then the song says:Then like a hero who takes the stage when we'reOn the edge of our seats saying it's too lateWell let me introduce you to amazing graceAmazing grace, this is what we don't count on. This is what we many not even know a lot about. I am going to be doing a series on grace soon. I will be using scripture verses to explain what grace even is and why we should all know all about it. I love this part of the song because it reminds us that even when we think it is too late, it is never too late for God. No matter how far gone we think we are, we are never too far gone for God. There is no darkness to dark for Him. There is no place to distant for Him. Wherever you are, however far away you think you are listen to the words of the verse above, “he reconnected you back to himself.” Just call out and He will reconnect you back to Himself! The song goes on to say,No matter the bumpsNo matter the bruisesNo matter the scarsStill the truth isThe cross has madeThe cross has made you flawless I know you think I don't understand. I know you think you have too many scars and too many bumps and bruises to be redeemed. You absolutely believe that God looks at some people and sees them as “holy, flawless, and restored.” However, He knows the truth about you and that is that you are too damaged, to far gone. This is the enemy lying to you. He tells you these lies because He knows you will believe them. He tells you these lies because He knows the truth is too crazy to believe. The truth is that God loves you, scars in all. He allowed those scars so because they made you stronger. He allowed those scars because He knew he could use them to make you into the person you are today. He loves the person you are today. He doesn't see the damaged person you see when you look in the mirror. He sees someone who has weathered the storm and is still standing. He sees someone who has had so much trauma in his or her life and yet is still persevering. He looks at you, yes you, and sees his son or daughter whom He loves so much. This scripture verse gives us all the proof we need to see that God doesn't see us as broken, He sees us as redeemed! The last verse of the song says:No matter the hurtOr how deep the wound isNo matter the painStill the truth isThe cross has madeThe cross has made you flawlessI know this is hard to believe. It is contrary to what the world wants us to believe. The world wants us to think we have to earn everything and that we are only loved and adored when we deserve it. When we do things that earn these feelings or this respect. The enemy tells us the opposite as well because he knows it is easier to believe. He knows it doesn't take any effort to believe we are worthless and not enough. He has convinced the world to reinforce this over and over again with the media. However, God's ways are not our ways. He never meant for us to be like the rest of the world. He created us to be set apart. He created us to live in this world, but not be of this world. He sacrificed His son for us and all we need to do is accept this amazing grace that He lavishes upon on. All we need to do is allow Him to come and reconnect us back to Him. I want to leave you with the verse today as it is powerful and I hope you write it down somewhere and read it often. I hope any time you start to feel like God doesn't like you, or that He feels you are unworthy or not enough, you will read this verse and be reminded of the truth of how God really sees you!“Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored.”Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless everyone listening to this episode. Lord, I ask that you help each one of them understand how loved they are by you. I ask you that you help them move this information from their head to their heart. I ask that you help us to see ourselves through your eyes. I ask that you help us to know how you really see us. I ask that you help us to understand your amazing grace more! We love you Lord and we ask all of this in accordance with your will and in Jesus's holy name, Amen!Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus. Book Vs. Movie“It's a Wonderful Life”(2018 replay ep) The Margos get out their hankies and talk about another holiday classic“No man is a failure who has friends.” The Margos wanted to fit in one more holiday movie this year, and what better way to celebrate than with the number one weepie of all time--It's a Wonderful Life? (Yes, it was based on a short story The Greatest Gift by Philip Van Doren Stern and you can read it for yourself in under 15 minutes.)The Greatest Gift is the story of a man named George Bailey who wants to commit suicide. An unnamed stranger gives George his wish to see what life would be like if he had never been born. In the end, he chooses life. Van Doren Stern wrote this short story (which took him several years to finish) in 1944; at first, he could not find anyone willing to publish it. Eventually, he self-published 200 pamphlets and sent them as Christmas cards to family and friends.Director Frank Capra eventually landed the property and decided to completely revamp the story to include George's childhood and more. It is now considered a classic film, but at the time, it was a bit of a box office failure, and Capra never really had the opportunity to see how his work influenced generations of storytellers for decades now.In this show, we discuss the differences between the short story and the film. This podcast is designed to share what we've learnt about life, business, investing, and so much more. For our 11th episode, we discussed a whole bunch of things, including:Lessons we learnt from stock picks we had made in August 2018; these are stocks that have collectively delivered a positive return, but which have trailed the market. When is the right time to go ‘all in' on your business? And how do you know if taking a big leap into the unknown is for you? The idea of cutting ties with your corporate job or other responsibilities to put more focus on your budding business is quite idealized and fantasticized these days. I don't know a single soulpreneur who hasn't at least seriously considered it, if they haven't made the leap already. As glamorous as it is to make the decision to go all in on your business, and as common as this trope has become in the online business world, the decision itself comes with a lot of nuance and considerations. Many of which are overlooked or misunderstood. This decision is the one that can introduce and insert the most pressure into your business and personal life. I'm really excited to discuss this with you now. For some, it's the best decision they've ever made. For others, it wreaks havoc on their health & wellness, ultimately inhibiting the growth of their business. This episode is part 3 of 6 of the Pressurized Soulpreneur podcast series. In this episode, I discuss:My own story of going ‘all-in' on my business - how it happened, what I learned, and what I would do differently if I could do it againThe most important thing to consider when deciding if it's the right time for you to make the leap into full-time entrepreneurshipHow your human design - specifically your head and root pressure centers – influence and impact your ability to make the decision and to navigate your path forward once the decision is madeThe 5 specific steps I would take if I were to do this all over again and what you should seriously consider if you are at this inflection point in your business. Description: An immersive reading of excerpts from ‘Aurora Leigh' by Elizabeth Barrett Browning with reflection on the benefits of illness, social determinants of health and discharging people experiencing homelessness. WorkShe stirred;—the place seemed new and strange as death. The white strait bed, with others strait and white,Like graves dug side by side, at measured lengths,And quiet people walking in and outWith wonderful low voices and soft steps,And apparitional equal care for each,Astonished her with order, silence, law:And when a gentle hand held out a cup,She took it, as you do at sacrament,[…]I think it frets the saints in heaven to seeHow many desolate creatures on the earthHave learnt the simple dues of fellowshipAnd social comfort, in a hospital,As Marian did. She lay there, stunned, half tranced,And wished, at intervals of growing sense,She might be sicker yet, if sickness madeThe world so marvellous kind, the air so hushed,And all her wake-time quiet as a sleep;[…]She lay and seethed in fever many weeks,But youth was strong and overcame the test;Revolted soul and flesh were reconciledAnd fetched back to the necessary dayAnd daylight duties. She could creep aboutThe long bare rooms, and stare out drearilyFrom any narrow window on the street,Till some one, who had nursed her as a friend,Said coldly to her, as an enemy,‘She had leave to go next week, being well enough,'While only her heart ached. ‘Go next week,' thought she,‘Next week! how would it be with her next week,Let out into that terrible street aloneAmong the pushing people, ... to go ... where?' Today in Coffee N. 5, we had a fantastic conversation with Jennifer Norman on marketing in terms of the beauty industry. Jennifer has had almost 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. She speaks about the evolution of women's beauty in Hollywood (which trickles down to women in other places). From tall thin supermodels to the body positivity movement of today, things have changed a lot in recent years. Influencers and the rise in social media have spearheaded this change, and now big companies are starting to follow. Jennifer felt the need to start her brand after realizing it's hard to change big companies from within. She took matters into her own hands and founded The Human Beauty Movement in 2019. She wants people to feel like they're getting “Zen in a bottle” when they buy her products. Her company uses ethically-sourced ingredients and is a certified B Corp. She starts every decision from a place of love, not a place of financial gain.Jennifer speaks about how and why she started her own business, the importance of having solid ideals and principles behind your business, self-confidence, and tips for new entrepreneurs. She also talks about her challenges of being ready to launch just as the pandemic hit and how she navigated this issue. What you'll learn:The evolution of beauty standards and idealsHow the digital age gave rise to the body positivity movement Indie beauty brands and their strengthsJennifer's experience and challenges starting her brand and why she did itJennifer's experience marketing CBD and how she got startedHow Jennifer ensures her products are all ethically madeThe importance of a positive attitude and confidence in yourself in business Being your own person in businessMistakes as opportunities to learnConnect with Jennifer through Instagram and LinkedIn.Learn more about The Human Beauty Movement hereFollow our host Lara Schmoisman on social media: Instagram: @laraschmoismanFacebook: @LaraSchmoismanLinkedIn: @laraschmoismanTwitter: @LaraSchmoismanSupport the show (http://www.laraschmoisman.com)
Romans 1:2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. 5 Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,The promise of Christ through the prophetsV2 The coming of Christ is the prophesied culmination to a long history of expectation. Jesus Christ is not an afterthought, but the very realization of God's plan for the world, Jew and Gentile. Indeed, Jesus himself is the gospel!Prophets were all the writers of the OTPaul next began to exalt the gospel that God had called him to proclaim. It was a message that God had promised, not just prophesied, in the Old Testament Scriptures. The words "his" and "holy" stress the unique origin of the gospel.Paul was accused of preaching a new message by the Jews1Peter 1:10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.Joh 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.Christ was prophesied of 333 times in the OT.2 Sam 7:12-16, Isaiah 1:18, 53:7–8 with the Ethiopian eunuch is a good example, Is 55, and Gen 3:15- first mention of the Jesus in the OTLu 24:25 Then He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 "Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?" 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.1. Paul proclaimed this Gospel was about Jesus ChristV3 The reference to Jesus as a descendent of David according to the flesh functions on two levels. First, it makes plain that the eternal son of God took on full and complete humanity (John 1:1, 14; Phil 2:6-11). Second, the explicit link with David is not just to suggest his humanity, but also to make clear his special relationship to the line of promise. Jesus met the qualifications of one to whom the promise of 2 Samuel 7:12-16 could be madeThe promise in 2 Samuel 7:12-16 is extremely important in the New Testament and the connection to it is apparent here (e.g., Matt 1:1; Acts 13:34; 2 Cor 6:18). Nathan tells David, among other things, that he will never lack a “son” to sit on his throne.God's good news concerns His Son, identified as Jesus Christ our Lord. This asserts Christ's deity as basic to His person and prior to His Incarnation Jesus was born of a virgin and delivered normallyJesus was a historical figure written of by many ancient writersRoman historian Tacitus in Annals Jewish Historian Josephus in AntiquitiesPliny the Younger in LettersJesus was born of the seed of David, Mary was his natural parent Matthew 1:6-16 is Mary's family treeLuke 3:23-31 is Joseph's family treeJohn makes believing Jesus came in the flesh a crucial test of orthodoxy( or having sound Biblical teachings about Christ)1John 4:2-3Jesus Christ is the center of the Gospel message. Paul identified Him as a man, a Jew, and the Son of God. He was born of a virgin (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18–25) into the family of David, which gave Him the right to David's throne. He died for the sins of the world, and then was raised from the dead. It is this miraculous event of substitutionary death and victorious resurrection that constitutes the G

Do you ever look around the world and wonder, “When is God going to judge?” The next question is “Can I escape if he does judge?”Let’s answer these two questions as we think about Genesis 6:5-8. In the process we will put even more amazing into amazing grace.WE DESERVE GOD’S AWESOME JUDGMENT (5-7)Great wickedness (5a)Constant wickedness (5b)Grievous wickedness (6)Punishable wickedness (7)Sometimes God seems awful quiet, but he is preparing awe-full judgment. Is there any hope for anyone?WE GET GOD’S AMAZING GRACE (8)As Mercy Me sing:“We're on the edge of our seats saying it's too lateWell let me introduce you to amazing grace.”Amazingly undeserved grace: Noah found “favor” means he got what he didn’t earn or merit. He was not entitled to this. He was no different to anyone else but was treated very differently.Amazingly sovereign grace: Noah was picked out by God’s powerful choice. He didn’t choose God; God chose him. He didn’t pick God; God picked him.Amazingly personal grace: God didn’t chose a group or a class of people, but an individual person. He wasn’t a number or a category, but a single human being. He said, “Noah, I am going to love you in a unique and special way.”Amazingly saving grace: Noah was not just saved from the greatest ever earthly judgment but from the greatest ever eternal judgment. All because he found the grace of God.If you aren’t amazed at grace, you can’t be amazed at anything.Let introduce you to grace graceGod's grace. No matter the bumpsNo matter the bruisesNo matter the scarsStill the truth isThe cross has madeThe cross has made you flawlessNo matter the hurtOr how deep the wound isNo matter the painStill the truth isThe cross has madeThe cross has made you flawless(Mercy Me: Flawless)LIVING THE BIBLEIf we deserve God’s awesome judgment, but get God’s amazing grace, how much should we thank him? Put your name in place of Noah’s. “But [your name] found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” Let’s praise God for his amazingly undeserved, sovereign, personal, and saving grace. This episode of Living the Bible lines up with Expedition 3: Day 2 in Exploring the Bible Together: A 52 Week Family Worship Plan and Exploring the Bible: A Bible Reading Plan for Kids. Nomoli Ben talks about sacred carved figurines. These ancient figurines found in the Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia area of West Africa bring tremendous healing to those who possess them. Ben Vonderheide and family have taken a strong interest in the ancient stones that have a connection to the Dogon Tribe in Africa. The Dogons live as in ancient times and have limited contact with the outside world. Nomoli is long published in scientific, academic and African circles. They were first discovered outside of West Africa when Portuguese sailors arrived in the early 1400s. The first published account is 1854, then appearing in numerous publications in the 1900s including a mention by Thor Heyerdahl (Kon-Tiki). Nomoli is on exhibit in museums worldwide, collected by British royalty an have been auctioned at Sotheby's. Beware! They have been replicated and the market has been flooded with fakes. Nomoli Ben has been featured on the History Channel Ancient Aliens. The Nomoli have been investigated by Angelo Patroni, Don Durban - Planet X TV, Walter Edmunds, and others. They are part of the art collection in the Maryland Museum since June 2016. Nomoli is sometimes depicted with crocodiles connected to them. The Nomoli Gods were said to have infused their power into crocodiles. Natives revere crocs specifically due to the fact that these creatures could exist.
