As July 1st 2024 rolled around and the teams formally of the Pac 12 officially joined their new conferences. I thought it was time to tell a bed time story about the Death or Demise of the Conference of Champions, the Pac 12. A story so sad , that it killed off one it's greatest hero's. Bill Walton who was a M.O.P. in the NCAA basketball tournament for UCLA. Had to endure a season long good bye to the PAC 12 or as he called it the "Conference of Champions". Days before his beloved Pac 12 was to go away as we know it, Bill died from cancer. This is a story/nightmare of incompetence, greed, arrogance, bad decisions, cover ups and just plain old stupidity. The Power brokers, The Commissioners, Presidents, chancellors and A.D.'s, let down their Coaches, Athletes, Student bodies, Alumni and Fans. With one bad decision after another. Once the TV companies saw and understood the mess they was dealing with found it was easier to manipulate and leave for dead than the Big XII or ACC; I believe were the true targets for death. 100 plus years for American Sports history just left to rot on the side of the road. I tell the story of how it got so bad in this episode and who played a part in it. All the Power People such as Commissioners, Schools Presidents & chancellors , A.D's have all either been fired, left for other jobs or retired with one year of setting the Pac 12 aflame and destroying a once respected and loved Conference. Curators Jake Subryan Richards and Vicky Avery locate Cambridge within the transatlantic slave trade, connecting global commodities and local consumption, historic and contemporary art, to reveal how five hundred years of colonial resistance constructed new cultures, known as the Black Atlantic. Between 1400 and 1900, European empires colonised much of the Americas, transporting over 12.5 million people to these colonies from Africa as slaves. It's a history often recounted as something singular, concluded in the past - detached as happening ‘then, and over there' - else told from the perspective of imperial powers. But in their resistance of colonial slavery, people also produced new cultures that continue to shape our present. Black Atlantic, a new exhibition at Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum, reconnects the institution's collection, university, and city more widely with these global histories. Installed within the Founder's Galleries, part-funded by the profits from the transatlantic slave trade, it builds on the ‘grandeur and smugness' of the Fitzwilliam's architecture - an intervention which asks whether it is possible to decolonise museums, as imperial infrastructures. Co-curators Jake Subryan Richards and Vicky Avery consider contrasts and continuities between historic and modern works, with contemporary Black artists like Barbara Walker and Keith Piper, Alberta Whittle and Donald Locke commenting on visibility, racism, and colourism, and how visual representations of Black people have shifted over time. Vicky smashes stereotypes about abolitionism, ceramics, and popular culture, from the UK's largest pro-slavery punch bowl, to Jacqueline Bishop's new Wedgwood dinner set. Plus, with a botanical painting from a Caribbean plantation - one of the first signed works by a Black artist of a Black subject - we travel between environments in West Africa, North and South America, and Europe, finding examples of exploitation, agency, and self-liberation - and pathways to future ‘repair'. Black Atlantic: Power, People, Resistance runs at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge until 7 January 2024, the first in a series of exhibitions and gallery interventions planned until 2026. Food in Neighborhoods (FIN) and the Cooperative Extension Program of Kentucky State University (KYSU) have partnered to organize this public event that included caravan tours in the city to raise awareness about local food apartheid and grassroots efforts to increase healthy food access as well as spotlight the work of urban growers. The Summit also featured workshop-style events involving popular education and in-depth political strategy discussions, addressing topics such as: food apartheid and environmental racism; youth leadership training; how to grow your own food; cooperative economics and Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs); urban and rural land access; New American success stories; and local food policy advocacy. Weaving the Food Web is a transformative act of healing, solidarity, and collective action toward realizing food justice, human rights and dignified livelihoods for all. Exciting food justice initiatives were featured and the input of participants - through dialogue, art and celebration - was gathered during the day. Hot breakfast and lunch, ASL and language interpretation were offered, along with childcare, and Grow Appalachia offered free registration for beginning farmers. Here We Are, Power People. Made it to the final episode of our exploration and excavation of Volume Two of Ingo Swann's Secrets of Power. What a ride it has been and it's only going to get more varied and exciting. In this episode we'll cover chapters 27 to 34 the remaining chapters from the 2nd volume. Within we get into: The words aware and aware-ness mean two different things. That the -Ness- suffix and what it brings to the table in terms of definitions being “of or about” something is a far cry from the original definition of Aware: Being wary, watchful vigilant, cautious, to be on ones guard. Attend: Ad plus Tendere: To stretch to something. To direct the eyes ears mind..to anything To reach out. A revelation of Ancient Greek thinking. The eyes had the ability to focus a kind of energy power, and stretching it out until it touched someone in some energetic way, in enough noticeable force to have a noticeable response. And how this was tested and found to exist in Soviet bio transfer research experimentations. Our species is comes prepackaged with powers of influence. The experience and then recognition of the experience happens way before we come up with names for something. Infants come with these innate abilities ready to go. Babies are universal linguists. Distinguishing the more than 150 sounds that make up any language spoken by humans. Important: to be of consequence weight or force. But force gets erased in modern times. “If the element of force is excluded from definitions of importance, than any number of things can be conceptualized as important, if only to participate in them so as to have the ‘feeling' of being important” The KEY is simply attempting, actively attempting. Our powers of Cognizing. Our realization powers! Discernment Discovery All this and more! It has been a wonderful experience wading through the words of wisdom from Ingo, with you. I look forward to exploring further what all we have access to if only we nurture and cultivate our innate, natural, human species powers. From general psi, telepathy and intuition juicing to energy work, OBE's and beyond We'll get to it. Right here on Hangin with Mist3rdouglas. New Orleans casino floor reimagined by Richard Watts. "'The Power People' is a reference to a sample I've used in the piece. The original recording was very busy with lots going on so I've tried to capture that by using a repetitive gated synth to drive it along. "There are various sampled sounds which I have cleaned up and used too. I always feel that casinos are sad places where people dream about making money but never get there and end up losing, so I've used a minor key melody to reflect that."
To endorfiny i uczucie szczęścia, wolności, poczucie sprawczości, umiejętność planowania i osiągania celów, harmonia i zdrowie.Zdrowi i wysportowani jesteśmy bardziej zadowoleni i lepiej funkcjonujemy zarówno w życiu zawodowym jak i osobistym.Pani Katarzyna pięknie opowiada o realizacji misji Sii, którą jest Power People - czyli identyfikowanie i promowanie najlepszych.
Learn to be aware of negative thinking and how not to give a second thought to a negative thought. It takes consistency and awareness. You know when you are thinking negative, if you let the thoughts be your focus you will keep the thoughts relevant. The more you think of whatever it is, the more power you give to it. You have to decide to stop it, no longer concentrating and giving focus to negative thoughts. Be aware, call it out for what it is, and do not give power instead dismiss it. It takes consistency, but only you can make this change in your life.

On this week’s Truth To Power, we gather folks into the virtual studio for a community conversation about resisting the petrochemical build-out in the Ohio River Valley. Joining Forward Radio programmer Justin Mog (Sustainability Now!) in the virtual studio this week are four members of the People Over Petro coalition: Alice Melendez (Extinction Rebellion Kentucky), Mary Aguilera (Buckeye Environmental Network & Ohio Poor People's Campaign, Cincinnati), Kelsey McNaul (Climate Reality Project, Pittsburgh), and Josh Eisenfeld (Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services, Pittsburgh). Despite failing economics and environmental health hazards, the petrochemical industry is persistent in its attempts to develop in the Ohio River Valley…but people are standing up to the threats to our natural and cultural heritage! How did people in Ancient Greece cope with sickness and disease and how clean is the International Space Station?

We are a Word People AND we are a power people. Grounded in Scripture and also blown by the beautiful wind of God's Spirit, this is who we are. In this talk, Pastor Jon unpacks what it means for us to walk in power and be expectant that God can do the impossible. *Unfortunately, we experienced some technical difficulties in our recording. Enjoy what you are able.
We grow by God's power, through closeness with God's people, following God's process.
It's time for a brand new episode Power People and once again Gaz is joined by none other than the Wolf of Kingston, Jack Webber!! The guys talk about the latest nerdy news including trailers, casting, Jessica Jones and the current CW DC slate! Get involved folks!
This next Sunday in Lent, we consider Mark 6:6-13. In this passage, Jesus send his disciples into the world with power, like-minded people and incredible purpose. www.thevineaustin.org
Yes yes yes Power People! We're back once again with another episode of the podcast and this week we're reviewing the latest instalment in the MCU, Black Panther! Enjoy.
Oh wotcha nitwits, it's only the bloody JfG Podcast! This week theres a beginning, a middle, and an end. At the beginning, there is much discussion about basically nothing, as we continue to sleepwalk through our uninspiring vacuous existences, achieving nothing. We then talk about a collection of videos games which have distracted us from the previous fact. Like any reality where time progresses forwards, things have happened, all of them in the past, and we report them as news. We also discuss the release of games that aren't out in the present, but the future. Finally, the Funk is after some info on an upcoming shooter in a long line of shooters, as we all wonder if this one won't be shite, and when JJ is asked a question, you'll get an answer mate.
For those who may have missed it or were left somewhat confused by the last episode where Gaz & Sam from Open All Powers hosted, this is the episode of their podcast that we hosted in our podswap. Yes yes yes Power People! Welcome one again to a some what peculiar episode of Open All Powers. Due to the flashpoint paradox altering the timeline, OAPP is now hosted by Greg and Joe from The All Seeing Guys. And TASG is hosted by Sam and Gaz. It's a full on podswap takeover. The fellas discuss the latest trailers and movies that made them cry as a child. Greg breaks down a couple of flicks he managed to catch on a recent flight and what remakes and reboots we can expect in the next few years. The wolf of Kingston Jack Webber is back for a report on his top 3 most anticipated movies of 2017 as well as a look back at the classic Short Circuit. Enjoy! Big shouts and respect to Gaz and Sam for taking part in this & letting us loose on their show.
In this message Asher Intrater teaches on the importance of understanding God's appointed times concerning His salvation plan. God doesn't exclude us from His plans, He involves us. To better know and align with God's plans, listen to this audio teaching in English.

Did you know that you are in charge of a power station? It's true. Every time you flick a light switch, a power station somewhere in the UK will respond and generate that little bit of extra power you need for your light. Did you know that you are in charge of a power station? It's true. Every time you flick a light switch, a power station somewhere in the UK will respond and generate that little bit of extra power you need for your light. How would you like to return the favour? Could you respond next time the power system struggles to keep the lights on? Could you delay the dish washer, or might you like do the hovering some other time?
