Dr. T. G. Hamilton was a trail blazer in the field of Paranormal Research. Hamilton was a medical doctor and because of his experiences with death, he began to wonder if there was a way that we could figure out what happens to us after we die. Hamilton and his family moved into a large home in Winnipeg and it was here that he carried out much of his research, along with his wife. Their children continued the legacy of peering behind the veil. And perhaps that is why the Hamilton House of Winnipeg, Canada is said to be haunted. Join us as we explore the history and hauntings of Hamilton House. In this Summer shoRTS episode, Gray Sutanto sits down to talk to us about his two contributions to the recently published *Ruined Sinners to Reclaim,* edited by David and Jonathan Gibson. It's a fascinating expansion of the traditional doctrine of the noetic effects of sin and the corresponding grace that we find in Christ Jesus.

Delve into the enigmatic depths of biblical revelation with Matthew D. Arnold's groundbreaking work, "The Invisible Dimension: Spirit-Beings, Ghosts, and the Afterlife," a captivating exploration published by Anamchara Books. Departing from conventional readings, Arnold beckons readers to reexamine the sacred text, urging a profound engagement with the celestial realms and their inhabitants as depicted by biblical writers. Kenneth McIntosh, author of "Water from an Ancient Well," praises Arnold's approach, applauding its departure from contemporary biases. Instead of imposing 21st-century lenses, "The Invisible Dimension" immerses readers in the intricate contexts of biblical authors, unravelling the rich tapestry of their cultural, historical, and theological landscapes. At its core, "The Invisible Dimension" ventures into the spectral domain, unravelling the mystique surrounding spirit-beings in biblical lore. From celestial angels to watchers, Arnold meticulously dissects their roles, alongside probing the origins of malevolent entities and the spectral manifestations of departed souls. Prepare to rediscover the veiled mysteries concealed within the sacred text, as "The Invisible Dimension" beckons readers into a realm where spirits, ghosts, and the afterlife intertwine with the fabric of biblical narrative. From Hebrew scriptures to contemporary television, from Medieval manuscripts to Victorian greeting cards, angels loom large in the collective imagination of Western culture, and not only for Christians. But the word angel seems to cover a multitude of possible beings. To judge from their many and varied representations, a vision of an angel might involve a giant three-headed winged monster, a chubby winged baby, or maybe an elegant androgynous figure. Given the diverse ways angels have been represented across different eras and traditions, it is difficult to get a sense of what Christians actually believe about angels. Where did the idea of angels originate? Are there really different ranks of angels? What about guardian angels? Or fallen angels? And why are they so frequently depicted with wings? On this episode of the Glad You Asked podcast, hosts Emily Sanna and Rebecca Bratten Weiss speak with guest Matthew Arnold about angels in the Bible and why our ideas about them are so varied. Arnold has written extensively on the paranormal in the Bible and spent over 10 years investigating the paranormal from a Christian perspective, drawing on his background in both theology and science. He is author of The Invisible Dimension: Spirit-Beings, Ghosts, and the Afterlife (Anamchara Books), and the editor of The Christian Parapsychologist, a publication of The Churches' Fellowship for Psychical and Spiritual Studies. Photographs of “orbs” – small circular or globular lights – that are invisible to the naked eye at the time of the photography are ubiquitous on the internet. Very little scientific research has been conducted to explain the photographic phenomenon. Most of the discussion online asserts that orbs are spirits or some other energy life form. Is this true or is there a coherent, conventional explanation? In this episode, we survey the available literature and consider examples of orbs in photographs.Three resources:Luciano Pederzoli, “Photos of Globes (Orbs): An Analysis,” updated article from SSRN (Social Science Research Network), 12/01/2017Gary E. His meticulous research took him all across Europe, usually culminating in series of experiments at his purpose-built, fraud-proofed psychical lab. Ever the skeptic, Price was driven by an obsessive mission to not just to expose frauds who claimed they could reach over to the other side, but to find anyone who actually could. In the 1920s as the world reeled from the first world war and the great flu pandemic, people in their collective grief turned to alternative systems of belief. Spiritualism, already making a new rise, was launched into the spotlight as proponents like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle waltzed around the globe giving lectures on the benefits of communicating with the dead. At the same time, there were others who found the subject altogether distasteful. The infamous magician Houdini had a particular fondness for uncovering false mediums, a past time that would wind up causing some heavy controversy when one of America's oldest magazines proposed a competition, to pay $2,500 to the first medium that they could prove to be genuine. This is a Halloween podcasts for 2022. An attempt by the British Society of Psychical research (SPR) to explain paranormal activity. Phantasms of the Living was to be the book published by the SPR that was to explain the reasons for people seeing ghosts. 700 case studies were given to try to prove that thought transference, called later telepathy was the reason for people seeing ghosts. Telepathy allowing one to communicate with others non-verbally through thought not to be confused with ESP (extra sensory perception) which refers to heightened senses and intuition. This podcast gives a brief background to the book, the personalities and politics of the SPR and a couple of case histories mentioned in the book and the reasons that the book was criticised. The book published in 1886 and recent copies are available today on internet sites. The book is interesting to dip into but I would think would be impossible to read it through. Warning , recorded in one take, Lip smacking out of control today, even though my microphone is supposed to prevent this and there is a dog in the room. Please do not listen if you are expecting a professional delivery. I am also known for mispronouncing words. I am away for about six weeks, I will try to post a couple of podcasts over this time, I will be back in December. www.strangestoriesuk.gmail.com

This series was released on our Patreon channel. Keep us going here: www.patreon.com/researchersoftruth In this class we take you above the time & space world of the material plane into what the ancients called the Worlds Beyond. These are the higher dimensions science is now theorizing about and sometimes calling parallel universes. These worlds are in and around the material universe but existing at a higher rate of vibration. We will explain and explore these multidimensional realities that we all will past to upon the death of our material body.
Is it possible for the spirit of a living person to temporarily leave the physical body and travel to another location miles away where it can be seen and physically interact with another person? The true accounts presented in this episode prove that it is, indeed, possible.

Hamilton House Revisited – 100th Episode GUTGAmazing how it all comes together! Today’s episode is the 2nd Anniversary of Giving up the Ghost Podcast, as well as our 100th Episode. The Hamilton House, thought to be the origin of Spiritualism and Psychical research in 1920s Winnipeg, was our inaugural episode. We were so fascinated by the history we knew that if there was any topic to enter the Podcast Ocean with - this would be that one. Fast forward two years and 100 episodes later - here we are! We decided nothing more appropriate than to cover this subject again since it has been our most downloaded episode to date (around 600). As well, Dr. Hamilton and Hamilton House along with all the family’s research is also the most explored file at the University of Manitoba Archives. We were honoured to interview local and world renowned Writer, Researcher, Urologist and Fortean Chris Rutkowski for this episode. Chris had researched and wrote about Hamilton House as well as had a personal connection in that he was a friend of Margaret Hamilton Bach. In addition, we were over-the moon to be able to speak with and interview Janice Hamilton, Dr. T.G. Hamilton’s granddaughter, who spoke to us from her home in Montreal about the research she has done and has written a book on her family’s genealogy . During our interview with Janice, Jas and Sher stumble onto a topic called ‘Black Market Babies’ in Montreal back in the ‘40s & 50s, as her Husband Harold, who was kind enough to troubleshoot Skype for us, told us of his story, being one of those babies illegally bought. For more information on Chris’ research, and his volume of work and printed books, please follow one of the links below. Kate Summerscale has written one of the Sunday Time books of the year exploring the world of poltergeists and ghosts in the build up to the Second World War. Psychical processes may often, by the use of certain points of view, be deduced from the tendency to equilibrium (as may biological processes in general, as well as physical, economic, or other processes). The transition from a state of rest to a process, as well as change in a stationary process, may be derived from the fact that the equilibrium at certain points has been disturbed and that then a process in the direction of a new state of equilibrium sets in. In carrying through this line of thought, however, one must pay special attention to certain points. The process moves in the direction of a state of equilibrium only for the system as a whole. Part processes may at the same time go on in opposed directions. It is hence important to take the system whole which is dominant at the moment as basis. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Today we're talking about How to Stay in Your Own Lane and why it's important.03:34 Staying in Your Own Lane is Important We've had a few fun episodes recently and we want to change the tone here because there's a couple of serious topics that we want to talk about over the next two episodes. Starting with how to stay in your own lane. Nick And why it's important. KISMA 04:05 Most Powerful Skills So what does it mean to stay in your lane? KISMA To me, this is one of the most powerful skills you can develop in your life. Nick And we're not talking about driving the car, but we’re talking about driving ourselves. KISMA We want to talk about it because it really is that important. If you want peace in your life, it's that important. Nick 04:47 This is Vital If you want to be effective at what you do and impact the lives of others, staying in your own lane is a huge piece. Even more so, if you want real spiritual development or real depth to your practice. And in so many other ways, this is incredibly vital. I cannot overstate the importance of this topic Nick 05:43 Your Container How do you know what your lane is? What does this mean? I think it's really helpful to think about it in containers. Everything has an energetic container and there's big containers, really, really big containers like the government. And then there's your individual container, your human. And let's say if you have a family, your partner, your kids, they all have their own individual container. And you can almost think about that not like a bowl, but more like a vortex. So when you talk about staying in your own lane, it's really staying stable and grounded in your own space, in your own container. Nick And all of your energetic fields. Psychical, mental, emotional. You're in it. KISMA 09:38 Taking Ownership When you were talking, what I kept hearing was that when we stay in our own lane, we take ownership of it. When we stay in our container, we take ownership of it. When we take ownership of it, we are then working with the spiritual laws as we know and co-creating. We can't create anything if we're not taking ownership of who we are and what we want. KISMA 15:22 Your Life, Your Truth So the question that some of our listeners are probably asking is “how do we stay in our own lane and also get the information that we're required to have in order to be safe, to be healthy, to be wise, to be up to date?” I personally watch certain videos and then there's others I won't watch because I know they're not substantiated. So I'm very careful what I watch and doubly, triply, careful what I would share with a client because I think that things can get highly exacerbated right now. So I think we do have to use our intellect, to answer my own question. A very strong intellect of asking questions. I personally will do research, read and then look at all of it to figure out what's my truth, what's working for me. KISMA Yeah. It's an individual choice. Like how you should go about informing yourself or live your life for that matter. Which is essentially what we're talking about because we're talking about how you spend your energy. That's your life. Nick 24:11 Narrow and Powerful So I have an illuminated thought. Your lane is probably way more narrow than you thought, yet way more powerful. Go with the narrow and the powerful everyone. It's your time. KISMA

Slenderman.. a form of urban legend, born of the internet age, and fuelled by the collective psyche as an organic body of lore emerged from out of nothing to terrify thousands…Join Ansir & Sophia as they discuss the origins of Slenderman and the possibility that it may have enabled the creation of an egregoric form -- bringing the fictional being to manifestation through a combination of the psychical energies of the many who believe Slenderman to be real. Further discussion looks at if Slenderman is simply the latest form taken by an older fear, possibly a much older entity. Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/InquirersintotheStrange)
